Located in the centre of the city, close to restaurants, cafes and coffee shops, this hotel stands out with its attractive modern architectural design and friendly professional staff. The public areas are clean and well maintained. I had the pleasure of listening to an Iban musician upon checking in too. My room was spacious and super clean. The city view on the sixth floor was fantastic. The air con, wifi and water pressure was excellent. The bathroom was very decent and my bed was really comfortable. I had a kettle and fridge. I also had dinner in the restaurant by the lobby—the Thai dishes were great, and my waiter, Deny, was awesome!

The only complaint concerns the restaurant: I ordered two large bottles of San Miguel and was shocked the bill came to just under £24 (£12 each!). The menu didn't make it clear how much alcohol tax—v high!—would be added, on top of the hotel's price!

The live music at night is a nice touch!

Rooms are clean and well-equipped and staff were very attentive and friendly.

The neighbourhood is not very walkable, which complicates planning for meals. It is alright for motorbike travel, though. Gym equipments need some upgrades!

Ligging: div. restaurants in de buurt, goede bedden, fijne douche, schoon zwembad (overdekt, zijkant open en incl. bar) met uitzicht over de stad, vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt, loungebar met live muziek (beneden).

Muffige geur op de kamer. Prijzige alcoholische drankjes. Verdieping met zwembad is gedurende de dag vrij donker (want overdekt). Daardoor beetje ongezellige sfeer. Verlichting wordt pas aangedaan als het begint te schemeren. Omslachtig betalingsproces bij het afrekenen van drankjes bij het zwembad.

Отличный стандартный сетевой отель. Всё необходимое есть, в номере чисто, кондиционер работает, можно открыть окно. Завтрак замечательный, лучше чем в оллинклюзивах Турции и Египта, есть практически всё- от всех видов яиц(в том числе варёные 3 варианта минут) до хлопьев и риса/лапши. Десерты, фрукты, напитки - всё вкусное. Отзывчивый персонал, помогли с поиском еды и обменника. Через дорогу есть небольшой супермаркет, до большого 15-20 минут пешком.

Для этого города отличный вариант жилья. Есть нюанс со слышимостью-шум улицы, людей в коридоре и лифт если номер рядом с лифтом слышно отлично.

Very courteous staff. Hardy at the recrption, Galu from the band playing at the restaurant, Yudha - the taxi driver who was driving us and also the Manager at the restaurant serving buffet lunch - all were great. Very helpful and great attitude. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. House keeping did a good job. The only disappointment was the swimming pool. Location is great - very central.

Cleaning staff was reluctant to provide extra towels, was staying with kids but he insisted on providing only 2ea for each room (booked for 2 rooms, for week long stay). Breakfast was good however staff was taking too long to replenish foods, can be seen chatring with fellow colleagues rather than checking on the foods. Staff took more than 10mins to get the salt n pepper when asked.

I love everything about the hotel, from the accomodations, to the services. All hotel staff are superbly friendly and welcoming. What u love the most is that the staff very helpful. One of them is Anisyah she's quite sweet.

breakfast was reaaally good, stayed from 17th-20th Dec 2025, they serve different varieties of food daily. loved the beef sausage and their pandan pudding!! The pudding was one of the best! Also convenient for toddlers too, you can DIY your own porridge for your child. It's just the table placements are a little dirty, other than that, everything is almost perfect. Empty chafing dishes are refilled very quickly with several staff supervising on the spot. The shower was excellent overall. Although the water takes some time to warm up, it was very refreshing after spending the entire day outdoors. One of the best shower experiences I’ve had. For optimal comfort, I recommend bringing your own shampoo and body wash. It was a very memorable stay for a first-time visit to Pontianak. The hotel offers excellent facilities and service. During our stay, we unfortunately witnessed a fire that broke out at a nearby house next to the hotel; hopefully, no one was injured. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I visit Pontianak in the future.

The table placements they use for breakfast tables are a little dirty. the shower water takes forever to get warm but will be one of the best once it gets warm :)

It was truly a pleasure to enjoy a three-day, three-night stay at the Golden Tulip Hotel. Its location is close to the main road, making it easy to access. The hospitality was felt from the moment of arrival—starting from the parking area, entering the main hall, and continuing through the excellent service from both the restaurant and the banquet team. The technicians involved were also very responsive. The room had adequate and comfortable facilities. It was clean, regularly tidied up, and all the amenities were available, so I only needed to bring my personal items and could rest peacefully. The experience in the ballroom was also luxurious. With the videotron now available, it adds extra value for service users like our office to use it again for major events involving important guests—or for weddings, birthdays, and other events. In the room, there was No loud voice room outside... The price is affordable.

Good place to stay. Accommodation is good and hygiene. Room service excellent. Food is fantastic and drinks (alcohol) cheaper than expected. Head of waiter at the bar(Mr. Deny and his mate Andin) are helpful and friendly. Front dest team provide excellent service. Very recommended place to stay. Chill and cozy bar ❤️

Well located. We took a grab from the airport. Excellent value for money. Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Room was clean and comfortable. Corridors have tiled floor so could be noisy with passing guests. My wife and I wear ear plugs so this wasn’t a problem for us. Breakfast had a good range of Asian and western cuisine. Branche bar served ice cold beers and delicious noodles.

Excellent service from the beginning came, nice rooms, restaurants that taste suitable, swimming pool not hit by the heat of the sun, entertainment so chef for children and service throughout the stay friendly and very good.

Location is quite good. There is a couple of restaurants walking distance next to the hotel and a laundromat opposite across the streets. There is live music in the lobby and a restaurant in house. The only problem is they do not accept credit card at the in house restaurant.

Room is not sound proof, and you can hear everything in the corridor. There is a lot of people coming and going out of their rooms at night.

Golden tulip is an amazing spot for a family staycation. The kids activities on weekend are super fun. Pool area, and birthday greeting at our room must be a hit for my little one. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a lot of delicious meals and many healthy foods are available. We have great value for the price . It’s Clear Me and family have an inredible time at golden tulip as always . Golden tulip is always be my kids favorite hotel in town .

The rooms given all to us were not to our expectation.All rooms given with a very small window one hardly can see the outside. Firstly given smoking rooms which they said already cleaned from the smoking smell.We refused because we did booked no smoking rooms.Towels and bedsheets and bed covers are all yellowish.Compare with 2 years back when we first stayed there the conditions were different.

It was an amazing experience for having breakfasting with friends in Golden Tulip Pontianak. They really pay attention to the menu, and giving best quality of the foods. They dont let the food empty, they refill it immediately once its out of stock.

The food is good and so many dessert, the chicken hainam rice was so delicious, and the staff is so kind and helpful, the place is quiet fun and have a singer and gitaris, i highly recomended this place to go and stay, the view is so beautifulllll
