Great location

Bed and pillows were very hard No parking g which we knew - hotel offer a parking permit (£10 for 24hrs) but were surprised to have a parking ticket when we returned (obviously not the fault of the hotel but just for awareness)

De kamer was ver beneden peil. Het bed stond tegen de muur, zodat één van de personen geen nachtkast had, en over het voeteneind of over de partner heen naar zijn plek moest kruipen. De deur van de badkamer sloot niet, zodat iemand die zijn behoefte deed op de WC totaal geen privacy had. De kamer was vochtig en bedompt, maar het raam was met geen mogelijkheid open te krijgen. Het ontbijt was duur en alles behalve royaal, omdat voor ieder 'extra' (een glaasje sap, een extra ei) moest worden bijbetaald. De bar was zeer lawaaiig, zodat het - ondanks het aardige uitzicht op zee - eigenlijk geen optie was om beneden te verblijven. Hotel adverteert met 'parkeervoorzieiningen', maar heeft deze niet.

Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room was clean, bed very comfortable and toilet and shower immaculate. View of the Brighton seafront and Palace Pier from the bay window also helped make our stay memorable. Breakfast was well-prepared, with very friendly service.

One minor criticism is that the main roller blind in the bay window was very difficult to use and needs fixing.

It’s been a few months since our last visit and once again Legends was fabulous. The fact that two staff (Lenka and Liam) remembered us and our specific dietary needs at breakfast was amazing. Legends is amazing but the staff are legendary. We will be back

Yes the club is noisy till the early hours but we knew that and the hotel make that clear when you book

Absolutely brilliant stay. Staff are attentive and friendly. Location is incredible. Rooms are well sized and the beds comfortable.

As it’s on top of a bar it can get noisy late in the evening, but they provide earplugs which is lovely!

Our room was superb! Comfortable and spacious with wonderful views of seafront and pier. We loved sitting in the comfy chairs with the table in the large bay window taking in the view and listening to the sound of the waves! All of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back!

A little less drag would have suited us better, so perhaps more variety in entertainment would be our suggestion.

Clean and attractive public areas with nice bar, entertainment and excellent terrace on the sea front road.

Very clean room, but very small with view of beech and pier through single glazed windows. Mattress sagged in the middle. Bathroom tiny. Breakfast was poor with extra charges for toast, orange juice and anything not included in the basic menu items.

Our room was sparkly clean. The shower was hot and powerful. Staff super friendly. Will definitely return.

Would have been nice to have some conditioner in the shower. But that is a teeny tiny gripe, that is all.

As I paid over £400 for 3 nights, excluding breakfast, I didn't have breakfast because I didn't want to spend anymore money at Legends.

Room was very small. Bathroom door didn't shut. Soap dispenser didn't work. Nowhere to store clothes other than a few hangers. Noisy until 3am (though earplugs left by the bed were a warning of that). Bathroom had the smallest sink I have ever used.

Er is geen airco. Ik kan me voorstellen dat wanneer het warm is, de kamer ook erg warm kan worden. Er is wel een ventilator.

The location was convenient for the Madness concert On The Beach and the staff were pleasant, other than that nothing else was likeable for us.

Where do we start ........... firstly, it was the most expensive hotel that we have ever stayed and definitely the smallest (there wasn't even room to put my shoes on at the side of the bed). The room was stuffy even with the small fan on full speed. The bed was a small-double sized bed and wasn't very comfortable. The TV was small and there was very little clothes storage (nowhere for hanging my wife's dress). The bathroom had a bi-folding door, which was broken and couldn't be closed from inside. The bathroom comprised of a shower cubicle, toilet and wash hand basin all squeezed into the tiniest of spaces. Despite the high room rate there was no breakfast included in the price and so we made our own arrangements at a local Wetherspoons (The Post & Telegraph).

I had a very difficult journey before I arrived, but they got me sorted quickly and simply and I was able to be by myself in next to no time. The staff were very kind, very welcoming and the breakfast was lovely, and the air con was a godsend , as was the iron, ironing baord and hairdryer Best part was the audience and the drag queens when the club/bar was open ever night. The atmosphere was right; people drank, laughed and danced and it was somewhere they could be themselves. There was no drama, it was just fun. Looking to stat another time in the future on a different night to see what else they have on. Brighton itself seems to welcome everyone and Legends was no exception

The room was small and bathroom narrow. Very hot room we couldn't sleep at night. They put small fan not make cool. The room's window was sea front and it was some some kitchen fans and make loud noise we couldn't sleep.when we ask to change the room the staff just said sorry not helping at all

Wonderful location. We had a Sea view with great view of the pier and lots of interesting shops, cafes etc in easy walking distance as well as the beach. The room was comfortable and clean and had all we needed

No major problems - there was a bit of noise from the bar but we had been warned about that and it didn't keep us awake

Location is perfect as opposite the beach, and a short walk to the Pier or into town. Very friendly staff, and does a very nice cooked breakfast.

Rooms alot smaller than expected,compared to how they looked on line,parking isnt explained clear enough on website but i do apprecite location of hotel,shower was very small and we had a view of the back of houses and a dead pigeon, also quite nosey due to extraction ductwork.

We were evicted from the hotel after I had words with jobsworth security guards on the door who challenged us as to or residency around 10.00 pm. My partner was frogmarched up to our room and made to pack in the dark. While I was made to wait outside. We were told we would not be refunded for the room and also the breakfasts which we paid for in advance. The hotel staff were not interested and effective threw us out onto the street. We have stayed at legends on many occasions without any problems but will not be going back due the the heavy handed security and staff bullies. Do not book this hotel

The view was really nice, you're near everything and the staff provide earplugs as it can be a bit noisy.

We found many bugs in our bed, most of them don't fly. We couldn't close out window properly and there were still glitters on some side of the room like on the bathroom door.

Always so good here. Many visits, never disappoints. Staff are just gorgeous, breakfast is fabulous and the views (from the right room) are beautiful. Sitting on the Terrace with a glass is Heaven! 🌸🩷🥂 Also very accommodating for storing luggage, so your final day doesn't have to end at 11, you can get a coffee, relax and squeeze the last drops from your stay. 🏖

Excellent location right on the Sea Front. Lovely large terrace at front of Hotel. Spacious room with nice shower and comfortable beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would def stay again.

The venue was brilliantly placed and The Staff very helpful and friendly and a great view of the pier.

It's a constant problem and I blame Booking.com as well as the venders. They keep stipulating there is parking but when you get there, there isn't you have to pay a private company or council, it's annoying, frustrating and most importantly mis leading. The other annoying one is when there is car parking but you have to pay extra, please stipulate clearly in the description.

Friendly staff

The room was tiny. Fitted a double bed and that was it. Also - for a ‘gay’ hotel, you’d expect bathrooms to be set up for the needs of the customer.

Location, comfortable bed, close to to the sea, food at the restaurant, staff very friendly and communicative and helpful.

The room was extremely small, the floor was making noise when walking in the room, rooms very close so you can hear other people slamming the doors or walking on the hallway, they take your card details at the checking in to charge you in case the room has any damages, but this is not specified at the booking stage - you must take pictures/ video of everything when arrive in the room, just in case. The bathroom is also very small and you can barely move inside the shower cabin.

Nice position, good bar friendly staff

We loved our stay. We had a seafront room, which had plenty of space and was clean. The view from the room was great looking straight out to the ocean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The lift was appreciated with our suitcases. Please note if parking is required it is street parking within a zone perimeter surrounding the hotel, however the vouchers and process was clearly explained at check in. There is a bar downstairs which had nice drinks, we were fortunate enough to stay during Pride weekend and was able to see a couple of shows performed there also. We stayed for an ‘On the beach’ event, so it was very easy access to attend across the road. Also appreciated the staff storing our bags past check out time to allow us more time in Brighton before we needed to leave.

Not an issue for us as we were coming for an event and we appreciated the vibe, but there is a nightclub in the basement and there was a bit of noise from revellers late at night (we did also leave our windows open), however there was complementary earplugs in the room, not that we used them.

Pillows were way too thin. Windows need double-glazing as it is noisy at night.

Bed was comfortable and the room was spotless, staff are welcoming and polite. We was in Brighton to see FatBoy Slim concert and the hotel was opposite the beach where it was held. Epic night and epic hotel. Fat boy thanks to all the staff

Loved the location and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Breakfast lovely and nicely served to you. None of that buffet style you get else where!

Parking was bit tricky but you can park in the town and get a permit voucher from reception.

I thought the location was excellent, lovely views of the sea front and close to all the shops and attractions.

I would have liked a bigger room so next time I will look at what other options are available.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us ( my daughter and I, both straight) as we were going to the Fatboy Slim gig on Maderia Drive. We paid a bit extra for the superior king room with sea view and we were certainly not disappointed! Definitely one of the best views in Brighton. It was also an easy walk into the city centre. We arrived a couple of hours before check in time but had no issues with leaving our bags at reception while we had a couple of drinks on the terrace then wandered in to the city. I couldn’t fault the staff at the hotel from the bar staff to the receptionist to the security later in the night after the gig. All in all a wonderful stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends

I would have marked higher except for 2 things. Unfortunately the 1st thing we check on arrival are dust on top of picture frames etc. When my daughter ran her fingers over these there was a fair bit of muck on the pictures and other fixings. Also we were both a little disappointed with the water pressure of the shower
