Die Zimmer riechen sehr stark modrig. Die Möbel sind alt gammelig und abgenutzt. Den Begriff Sauberkeit und richtig Putzen ist dem Personal auch nicht bekannt. Rundum eine Schande dass Solch ein Loch noch offen sein darf.

Hotel trascurato, lavandino intasato e malfunzionante, serratura della porta di entrata difettosa, terrazza inutilizzabile causa scimmie, soggetto esoso all’uscita e all’entrata che perseguita i turisti cercando di obbligarli ad andare in tuk tuk con lui. Al momento hotel da evitare.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Chithrananda went out of his way to assist us wherever he could. We would come back, just because of his service!

​The room 112 had a strong moldy smell, and both the bedroom and bathroom floors were sticky. The headboard was dusty and uncleaned, with visible spiderwebs. This was not up to Radisson standards at all. ​The arrival experience was unacceptable and unprofessional. The security staff were unwelcoming, failed to open the car door, and lacked basic hospitality. Worse, the security guard called the front desk to question whether I was actually a guest, specifically referring to me in the local language as the "tall, dark guy with long hair" to verify if I had a room key—which my driver overheard directly. ​Housekeeping was just as unresponsive. On my second day, I specifically requested at the reception that the room and bathroom floors be properly cleaned, but staff only did a basic turndown service and left the sticky floors untouched. At checkout, no one bothered to ask about my stay. ​I should have stayed at Hotel Suisse next door instead. I visited two friends checking in there, and the contrast was night and day—from security to the front desk and concierge, the staff at Hotel Suisse offered exceptional, warm service. ​I will never stay at Radisson Kandy again. ​Bullet-Point Format ​Unacceptable Profiling & Rude Security: Zero hospitality upon arrival with no assistance at the car. The security guard was overheard by my driver calling the front desk in the local language, describing me as the "tall, dark guy with long hair" to question if I was actually a guest with a room key. ​Poor Cleanliness & Ignored Requests: The room smelled like mold, the floors were sticky, the headboard was dusty, and there were spiderwebs. Despite requesting a thorough floor cleaning at reception on day two, housekeeping only did a turndown service. Bathroom inbetween tiles is so dirty, i switch off lights while I took showers. ​Lack of Basic Courtesy: Front desk staff showed no interest in guest feedback during checkout.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Das Personal an der Rezeption war wirklich sehr freundlich und bemüht einen Buchungsfehler meinerseits wieder auszugleichen. Meinen herzlichen Dank dafür.

Im Badezimmer war es nicht möglich die Temperatur des Wassers in der Dusche einzustellen, es war entweder extrem heiß oder ganz kalt. Das Frühstücksbüffet lies zu wünschen übrig.

The hotel was in close proximity to the town centre I would say it was a 15 min tuk tuk ride. The hotel was modern with nice size rooms and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.

Unable to use international adapter which was in corner of drawer in bathroom. Sink was blocked and took a long while to empty when full. Electricity kept going off.

La vue depuis la piscine est magnifique. La chambre est très spacieuse, très bien équipée et très jolie. Nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant chinois et aux buffets proposés par l’hôtel. Le safari en jeep organisé avec le guide naturaliste de l’hôtel était super. Nous avons vu plusieurs dizaines d’éléphants. Ça restera un souvenir exceptionnel. La gentillesse du personnel

La piscine est très bruyante. La fréquentation est majoritairement familiale, il y a beaucoup d’enfants et beaucoup de cris à la piscine. C’est dommage, notamment car le spa est situé juste à côté et que les cabines de massage sont ouvertes sur l’extérieur. Nous avons signalé ce problème et l’hôtel a gentiment offert une réduction de 15% sur le massage. Difficile de se relaxer malgré tout.

Non c'è differenza tra vista lago e vista giardino nella scelta della stanze. Le camere in cui abbiamo soggiornato (3 per 3 notti) puzzavano tutte di muffa. I prezzi del ristorante piuttosto elevati per gli standard del paese.

Amazing location, we booked the lake view and it was great!! We even stayed for dinner as the rooftop pool area is so amazing-we could park our tuktuk for free, everything super professional, everybody is customer focused - best hotel so far in Sri Lanka for us!

The location was fantastic - very easy to walk into town and also enjoy leisurely walks along the lake. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly at all times. The rooms were spacious with lovely views of the lake from the balcony. The spa facilities were great too! The a la carte dinner menu was excellent.

We just stayed one night. Room very clean bright and spacious. Good selection at breakfast. Staff very friendly. It is up a steep hill from the main area but wasn’t a problem with us but could see it would be for a longer stay. Good pizza restaurant close by.

Everything. Location is superb due to its proximity to city. Its full of light and airy and spacious somehow. Staff absolutely fantastic dishing out super dishes and Kandyan hospitality. Indian food was a winner and the local dishes with a Kandyan flavour was unique. Services of Reservstions and, Front desk was superb, after a long journey you just need to rest and they ensure that with a welcome drink and a load of welcome warmth. Also one more thing commendable, when plates get empty after the meal, the waiters clear the plates promptly, tables are always clean and orderly.

We stay here for 2 nights and The location was good and quiet close to the kandy lake (main area) Rooms were spacious with balcony view to the Kandy lake They also offer complimentary meal (one meal per day) for baby Breakfast have sufficient variety but lacks in indian taste. How ever we managed to have Fruits and egg dishes that was okay. They provide indian dishes in dinner also but we didn’t like the taste (Not according to India) They have good varieties of cakes and pastries also pan cakes. Over all we have a good stay at this property

A large hotel in Kandy—part of a chain, so you know what to expect. Everything worked, but it lacked personality or charm.

This hotel is on a hill overlooking the city of Kandy. The views from the room and balcony were gorgeous. The check in process was smooth. The staff were nice and polite - as I came to expect and appreciate from the famous Sri Lankan friendliness, plus hospitality. I had a room right next to the gym (literally right next door!), and the swimming pool was around a 30 second walk a bit further along! The hotel and room had a modern, chic feel to it, with decent amenities available for use. My tv wasn’t working properly at first, and they promptly arranged someone to come and fix it within 30 mins. My room rate included a buffet breakfast, with a wide variety of choices (both western and Sri Lankan ones) - I definitely started the day feeling very full afterwards! No real need for lunch! I left my water bottle on the table, and the staff managed to give it back to me the following day! Kudos to them! The one downside was that the hotel was a little isolated at the hilltop, thus walking around outside at night looking for food, meals, or snacks wasn’t really possible. The only real nearby option was to try the hotel rooftop restaurant - right next to the pool. I tried the fish and chips (which was on offer with free drinks x2 at that time). While the chips were decent, I found the fish a little disappointing - it was a little dry and overcooked. However, it was partly my fault for not sticking to local dishes / cuisine. All in all I enjoyed my stay at this place, and I miss it after leaving Kandy!

Busy property, so can be noisy at times, especially the rooftop level. Ala Carte menu has limited vegetarian options.

Luxe hotel met prettige sfeer. Ruime kamer. Korte afstand van het centrum. Heel uitgebreid ontbijt, westers en lokaal. Vriendelijk personeel.

Sehr gute zentrale Lage, schöner Ausblick auf den See, gute Anbindung mit Tuk Tuk. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, auch zu Kindern. Großes Buffet und gutes Essen.

Der Wäscheservice war nicht gut (Wäsche noch dreckig) und zu teuer.
