Very centrally located and extremely clean rooms. You can enjoy your tea on the balcony looking at the lake. Breakfast was good too.

It can get loud with the traffic as you're on the road - but nothing that's not already obvious. The washroom had a slightly odd smell but didn't bother me much.

Nous avons été ravis de passer une nuit dans cet hôtel situé au bord du lac. Notre chambre (vue lac) était spacieuse, bien insonorisée, très propre et le lit très confortable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, très copieux, ainsi que notre repas de midi. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et professionnel. Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour à Kandy.

Gute Lage zum Tempel und direkt am See. Konnten auch zu Fuß zur Perhera laufen. Essen im Restaurant war lecker, Zimmer groß und sauber und sehr nettes Personal

Staff was very professional and friendly. Room was luxury, big and clean with a big balcony looking over the lake. Be mindful that the hotel is on the main road so cars moving by and honking can be heard clearly.

The manager even send me a WhatsApp to make sure we found our seats on the evening of the parade 😀 Breakfast cooked fresh and was delicious A big shout out to the team

El personal y la cama era maravillosa. Se duerme entre algodones. Desayunando nos cruzamos con un elefante y fue maravilloso. Recomiendo este hotel. Está ubicado perfecto.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 nuit au Vyana resort. La chambre était très spacieuse, confortable et très propre, la salle de bain également. Tous les détails y sont pour se sentir comme à la maison ! Nous voyageons avec notre fils de 2,5 ans : Un lit bébé nous a été mis à disposition gratuitement et des repas ont été adaptés sur mesure pour lui avec beaucoup d'attention en respectant les horaires spécifiques demandés et tout cela gratuitement ! Le service était irréprochable dans son ensemble, le personnel est agréable, souriant et aux petits soins que ce soit aux cuisines comme à la réception. Nous avons également apprécié la flexibilité quant à notre horaire de départ : nous avons eu la possibilité de garder notre chambre un peu plus longtemps pour plus de confort avec notre fils. Les repas étaient également excellents et la carte variée. Le petit déjeuner servi à table est très copieux, complet et délicieux. Enfin l'hôtel bénéficie d'une superbe vue sur le lac et est idéalement situé par rapport au centre ville et au temple de la Dent qui sont accessibles à pied. Il est aussi très proche d'un jardin pour enfant. Nous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés, encore un grand merci à toute l'équipe, nous avons passé un très bon moment !

De ligging was ideaal, je kunt vandaar langs het meer lopen en naar het centrum. Kamer zag er leuk uit en schoon.

Dat de kamer 's-nachts niet donker was. Er kwam veel ganglicht door de raampjes boven de deur. Daardoor niet zo goed geslapen.

Unfortunately, the hot water wasn’t working at all, so we had to heat water in the kettle to take a shower. This was very inconvenient and disappointing.

Location was good but on a busy turn on a moan road meaning lots of beeping and noise, room had Aircon but it was very noisy, we ended up checking out early and moving on.

Breakfast is just Standard breakfast. No butter, but margarine. no pork no beef was served. But in the menu is there,. There was butter and chocolate cake. They are just cheap cakes from the market. Had toast, Jam, sausage, 3 Potato wedges, 3 pieces of boiled carrot, some mushrooms and eggs. This is just a standard breakfast.

Even though the name says its a "Boutique Hotel". But its not. The hotel says it has parking, but actually No Free Parking. Parking by the roadside is very dangerous as it is located in a bend. No tissues in side the room. When asked for a Iron and a Board, only iron was given with a bed sheet. No Ironing Board. No face towels. Only two bath towels were there. No lift. The kettle had to be taken to the bedside to plug. No power outlet on the table. Just standard amenities not the Boutique Hotel amenities. No Balcony access from the room I got. It says Bath robe/Slippers, But they were NOT AVAILABLE.

Perfect place to stay in Kandy, close to the city center with a lake view. People were lovely, food is excellent, it's very clean and the bed is very comfortable. We recommand this place strongly.

Viyana Boutique Hotel is perfectly located, at only a few minutes from the Temple of the Tooth. The rooms were big and comfortable. We tried the jacuzzi in the upper suite and it was truly magnificent. The breakfast was amazing: the kids could not be happier with the waffles! We tried the restaurant as well and the food was very good (long waiting time though). Beds were very comfortable as well.

The staff were friendly, helpful and very understanding of my predicament in terms of not being able to stay and requesting my money back.

Although I had booked and paid for a three-night stay, I ultimately did not stay at the property due to concerns about the condition of the room. The room I was allocated had a gap running the full length of the door that was large enough to fit my finger through. As the Sri Lankan police had issued a recent public health announcement warning that dengue fever was currently widespread, and the room overlooked the lake, I did not feel comfortable staying in a room that was not adequately sealed. The staff showed me a second room, but it had the same issue, with an even larger gap around the door. I explained that I did not believe it was acceptable to charge guests for rooms in this condition. I was then offered a room without any windows, which was not a suitable alternative for me. To the property's credit, once I explained my concerns, the staff agreed that to arrange a full refund of the amount I had already paid. I appreciated that they resolved the matter promptly, although it was disappointing that the rooms were presented in this condition in the first place.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Suite ultimo piano con pareti a vetro e splendida vista sul lago. Colazione tipica ed abbondante. Posizione su lungolago, a poca distanza dal Tempio e dal centro (10 min a piedi). Staff discreto, di poche parole, ma ok

Estuvimos en las habitaciones Deluxe y eran grandes, cómodas y con unas vistas al lago espectaculares. La nuestra, tenía una terraza donde se estaba muy bien al atardecer. El desayuno era increíble. El palacio real está bastante cerca y una vez llegabas allí, tenías un paseo muy agradable por el lado del lago hasta llegar al centro.

Nuestra estancia era de una noche pero nos gustó tanto que nos quedamos 3 noches más, está en una zona perfecta alejada de todo el caos del centro de kandy y a diez minutos andando del centro y del templo. Desde la habitación tienes unas vistas increíbles alejada lago rodeado de naturaleza. Abajo tienen un restaurante, el desayuno es muy completo y la comida está riquísima. La habitación estaba súper limpia y el personal es encantador.

Siamo arrivati in questo hotel prenotando all’ultimo e ci hanno accolti con il sorriso. Ci hanno fatto scegliere la stanza fra due disponibili. Camera buona. Si trova davanti al lago quindi comoda per ogni spostamento. Vicino al tempio del dente del budda. Consigliato se volete vistare kandy. Colazione buona e ben servita.

Amazing food, amazing view from the room

Absolutely fantastic experience. Stayed for 1 night with my family for my mums 60th birthday and we had gorgeous, spacious rooms with beautiful views of the lake. The staff were so helpful and attentive. When I told them about the special occasion we were staying for, they arranged a birthday cake and balloons which made my mums day! They also put some towel decorations on the bed for my brother & girlfriend's recent engagement. It was a lovely touch that made this stay unforgettable. I would definitely recommend to others and would revisit this property again if I came to Sri Lanka.

It's on a main road so it's pretty loud, a lot of beeping, but most of us wore earplugs so it was okay

Everything! Wonderful spacious room, amazing breakfast, and incredibly friendly staff. The location was also great, just a 10 minute walk to the main bit of town, but quiet and right and by the lake.

Le réceptionniste est intervenu pour s’assurer que je n’ai pas de problème avec les chauffeurs de tuktuk qui un jour m’ont attendu devant l’hôtel (basse saison)

Was promised lake view, however room had a small window where we could barely see the lake.

We were upgraded to a suite which overlooked the lake. All the staff were friendly, amazing and helpful. Bed was comfy, pillows were perfect and the shower was great.

The quality of the breakfast needs to be improved. Watterbottles of the room looked very used, wasn’t sure if it’s safe to drink. Doors and bathroom have a lot of sign of usage.

De airco is wat ouder waardoor hij wat lawaai maakte. Hadden geen warm water bij het douchen. Hebben er wel 1 nacht geslapen.

Super emplacement en bord de lac ! Un staff très gentil et aux petits soins. La chambre était très spacieuse avec vue sur lac ! Assez bruyant car la route est très fréquentée mais ça reste raisonnable ! (En fonction de chacun)

Being honest, for this price it was great. Our room was very big, and clean. The balcony is extra plus - we spent a lot of time there, it was very romantic. Breakfast was not big, but nice. Location is very comfortable - it is near to all interesting places, but far from crowds. And the view from the room is beautiful.

We haven’t any problems or things to unlike here.

The staff was very nice and it's situated away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, in front of the lake. Rooms are very clean and nice. Even though I got late to get to the restaurant,they still have me the complimentary breakfast. All and all was a really nice experience and will definitely come back.

Le confort de cette grande chambre, l’emplacement de l’établissement et l’accueil du personnel très aimable

Ein sehr schönes Hotel für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp in Kandy. Das Personal ist sehr nett und super zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist absolut Top und auch das Essen sehr zu empfehlen.

Grundsätzlich merkt man dem Gebäude an, dass es ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist und man evtl. einige Sachen erneuern könnte. Das sind allerdings Details die dem Großen und Ganzen keinen großen Punktabzug geben. Ich möchte nicht sagen Sanierung, aber es könnte durchaus ein wenig erneuert werden.

Perfect location on the lake, 10 min walk to the temple and an extra 5 min to the town centre/old town. Although you have to cross the road to the lake side and it can be a bit daunting with all the traffic whizzing by! The room was very large, and so was the bathroom and everything worked perfectly. Bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning unit was a bit loud. If you look closely you can see the hotel needs a lick of paint and updating a bit, but otherwise it was perfect for 2 nights. It was very close to some nice restaurants too. The staff were lovely and always willing to help.

Gute Lage, nur durch die Strasse vom See getrennt (zur Info: man kann da nicht baden). Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Seeblick (303), dadurch war es ruhiger, da es nicht auf die Strasse gerichtet ist. Jedoch war es ziemlich warm im Zimmer, es hat aber eine Klimaanlage und einen Balkon. Das Frühstück war lecker, das Personal freundlich. Man kann am See entlang ins Zentrum laufen.
