Room was a terrific size and lovely little private courtyard, just a pity we were only in for a short time due to road closures. Loved the coloured face cloths to remove face makeup fabulous idea.

Nothing comes to mind. Perhaps power point near bed for charging electronics. Note the power points beside the bed were already occupied with the lamps.

Very close to everything but still very quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed the two nights.

Very convenient location. Dropped off and picked up by the Intercity bus when travelling from Greymouth to Queenstown. Excellent value for money. Lily the manager was winderful. Would definetly stay here again

Close to centre of town so can walk to all restaurants etc. very clean room with a lovely warm gas heater which was on for our arrival. Was very welcoming.

Everything! Fab throughout. Such lovely accommodation and staff. Receptionist went above and beyond her duty, even lending us her personal mobile phone charger when there was a long power cut in the whole area

This accomodation exceeded our expectations. Amazing large room with a lovely bush view. Mini kitchenette with all the basics was ideal for us. The bed was large and so comfortable that I didn’t want to get up in the morning. Lovely staff also who serviced our room during our stay.

We were given the accessible room would have preferred a normal room with a normal shower etc Also the wifi nearly worked even the tv would lose signal

They had forgotten to leave bath towels in the room so had to wait until reception was open next morning at 8:30 for the towels

Excellent location, really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are large and clean, but a bit dated.

The walls are like paper. You can hear people talking in adjoining rooms. Thankfully my neighbours on either side generally called it quits before midnight. If you’re in a ground floor room, you can hear people thundering up and down the stairs outside.

The setting is gorgeous, as is the bay window. So pretty. The motel was in a good location and was comfortable. It had everything that we required. On the whole this was a very nice motel.

There were just a few very little things and they were only minor but they do add up, to name a few, the toilet seems to run/refill all the time, the fridge was very loud, the ice box cover was missing, the dining table chairs are a bit unstable, the laundry locked earlier than advertised with our washing in there etc. All very minor details but they did add up. I had enquired earlier checking which room we were getting and i was reassured that it is was not a loft room however we did end up with a loft room. We could have said something at the time but we choose not to as the person i was travelling with took the loft so it turned out not to be a non issue. The only other thing that i would note is that we had two extended power cuts due to an orange weather warning on the west coast. These things happen and cant be helped however it just might have been nice to have a little bit more support. We were told there was a power cut and a couple of places that we could go to for dinner due to having generators which was super helpful, but there was no offers of torches or anything extra to help. On the morning after the two power cuts, one of which was a 6 hour long power cut, i did raise my concerns about the possibility of another occurring the following night as I require electricity for a personal medical device and had an awful night due to this previously. Unfortunately no advice or help was offered in case of further power cuts. I was informed by another local business about a motel that we could go to that had a generator should another power cut occur.

Everything! Located near to town, this spacious, warm, super clean, quiet, one bedroom apartment, was ideal for us. The two separate outdoor seating areas created greater privacy for our ground floor room. The beds were comfortable, quality linens and a good choice of bed pillows. The large, open style shower was a surprise, but a welcomed change to the smaller showers at most of our holiday accommodations. The exceptionally friendly, helpful lady at reception, Lily is an asset to Punga Grove.

The inconsistent temperature in the small, under-counter refrigerator which we reported to the reception staff. The poorly drained, large, open shower caused much water to spread over most of the bathroom floor. Luckily, with a generous supply of bath towels, we were able to dry the floor to eliminate the slip hazard.

It is located just off the main road, which is a good also one side of the property is like a rain forest, so when it rains it looks beautiful. spacious room with all facilities.

The wifi is bad need to improve on that.

Large, very comfortable room. The gas fire was on when we arrived which added to the overall cosiness of the room. Lovely outlook from room. Very friendly staff. Loved our stay here.

Prima verblijf (Standaard Kamer met 2 Bedden), grote kamer, precies zoals de foto's aangeven. Hor in raam was fijn. Basic en functioneel. Geen uitzicht (vanuit de standaard kamer), beetje op wat groen. Ligt rustig, op loopafstand van de restaurants.

Not as clean as I would expect. Also some maintenance required on the wall finishes in the unit we stayed in.

The location is perfect, and the staff is wonderful and honest. We accidentally left a valuable wallet behind and needed to retrieve it. The managers and staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help us find it and return it, even though we had already moved on to another town.

Cosy, clean and walking distance to centre of town. Bonus, the room was huge and the staff were very friendly.

This property is centrally located and walking distance to everything. The layout of the executive suite was awesome. We walked to our helicopter tour, restaurants and hiking up the street. This is a very quiet place to stay. We saw 2 kea's across the street in a tree ! I highly recommend the King Tiger for Chinese down the street.

We loved the location was so close to everything and the lovely staff provided us with umbrellas as it was bucketing down during our stay. We also loved the gas log fire. It was great to heat the room on the cold days..The room was spacious and very quiet during our stay. No Road noise whatsoever!!

Didn’t stay long enough.

Room and loaction were excellent. Bed was a bit old but that is not unusual. The lady who met us at check in was terrific and showed us to our room.

2 bedroom unit - very comfortable and quiet - included a small “conservatory” sitting area. Heating worked really well. Laundry on premises. Very convenient location - lots of eating options within easy stroll. Staff very friendly - always smiling.

Great location within walking distance to the Franz Josef high street but still quiet, backing onto the forest. Room had loads of space with large living room/kitchen area. Friendly receptionist Lilly walked us to our rooms and gave us fresh milk for tea/coffee.
