Canadas Best Value Inn Kapuskasing

Great price

Staff

Dated could use a little upgrading

The location was very good, near the highway, but quiet. It's across from a lovely park on the river and there are restaurants nearby.

There was a humming noise all night, I think it was coming from the bathroom in the room next door. It was constant and I had difficulty sleeping the second night. I didn't notice it the first night or I would have mentioned it to the staff.

Close to the falls and park, across from a neat museum, close t9 other amenities.

Le rez de chaussée , la luminosité , l'accueil et le sourire du personnel , la réactivité lors de nos demandes...

Rideaux abîmés

The mattress, pillows and comforter were comfy. I liked that Riverside Park was really close by and so were places to eat. The owner was very helpful. The room covered the basics and was clean.

The hallways smelled of cannabis. If you're looking to sleep during the day, know that it's right across from train tracks.

Great location.

Big room. Clean. Sliding patio door. Strong hot water pressure. Comfy bed. Heating and cooling unit for temperature control. Lots of tables, storage, and wall outlets.

Smelled like someone had previously smoked in the room.

It was clean comfortable, and the price was right

Queen, but dated small TV

Ideal location, very clean, excellent bed, fair price.

Great property. Next to food. Quiet. Fantastic check in staff!!!!

Nice

Horrible construction makes it a challenge to get to the property. I’m sure they are hurting because of it. Rooms are big, clean, lots if towels and water is hot. Not a fancy place but ticks off must of the boxes for an overnight star

Great property

the price and location are good.

Property is very modest. Road construction on main Street made the stay inconvenient.

Great property, quiet for sleeping and right on the Trans Canada Highway

Great property right on Hwy 11 (Trans Canada Hwy), room was spacious and very clean. Appears the updates/renovations were recent. Surprisingly quiet for being on the Hwy and right next to a Tim Horton's Will be staying here again

The receptionist was not able to find my reservation on their computer the search took up a lot of time so after I made a phone call to my other relatives who were staying in another hotel and I found the former Park Inn was were less expensive I stayed by requesting to reserve a room for the time frame that I requested on the app and they were able to offer me $5 less per day to make up for the fact that we spent 20 minutes looking for the reservation

Surprisingly clean and spacious room and excellent customer service from Bonnie

Very clean

Bien situé tranquille

Door to get into building was very hard to get in. Soap wouldn’t even make suds. Only two pillows. Couch was kind of grungy.

I liked that I could park outside my hotel door and get stuff from the car easily. I liked the quiet of the location even with all the traffic going by. We ran the air conditioner that had a nice 'white noise' that covered outside noises.

The only thing that I would say was needed was a chair by the table/cabinet to be able to use the computer there more easily. The other thing is that it was a bit difficult to tell where to go to the front desk office as the sign read the hotel name but the name on the building was something else. It was by trial and error that we figured it out.

They just put breakfast when you book but donot provide you. Staff at front said boss is suppose to take out that we donot provide breakfast thats not my fault. Terrible stay never going to stay again.

A lot of money for a c rated hotel

Location!

Great location, rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are super comfy. Staff was great.

Easy check-in, spacious room.

Clean.

Somewhat dated but clean.

All good thanks

Our first (and last stay at this motel. Amajor disappointment. Lacked basic items that any place should have. Room had an ice bucket but no ice machine available. No kettle or coffee machine and accessories. Entrance and parking area in terrible condition. Huge pot holes. Poor signable overall.

Quiet & good location

We left before breakfast

For the price we paid, I felt the room could have been cleaner. The rug was dirty, tv cabinet hadn’t been wiped down in a long while, bedskirt was dirty.

no one at reception upon arrival...then when she did arrive smelled of cigarette smoke so bad I gagged. Micro wave timed things but didnt cook. Stay away

Was a decent place to stay for the night to get some rest while traveling

Always a great place to stay on the way through

Room was big and clean. Very nice bathroom!

Location. Next to the highway, trucks and trains made it noisy.

Location

Good value for money, the outside area could be tidied up but the parking area is OK. Very conveniently located, with Tim's next door.

Easy to access off highway 11. I especially like the access to Tim Hortons next door, making it quick and easy way to get up and go early in the morning.

Would recommend this motel, well maintained and reasonably priced.

The woman who runs this place is lovely, seriously so nice. Very helpful with the things we needed offered to help us with our bags. Absolutely no complaints with her at all. The room was dated and did have an odor The hallways had a "dank" scent. The price was a little high for when you got in my opinion but would suffice for some people. We had a toddler so lots to bring in and the door into the back building was quite heavy, im glad we qerent too far from the parking lot. It was conveniently located next to tims for my early morning start. And the parking off the highway was nice. It was quiet in our room.

We were so impressed with the helpfulness given us especially the eagerness to carry our baggage to our room and assist and lead my husband who is totally blind from birth. The Manager was extra helpful and provided extra towels, shampoo and chairs for us also. I will recommend this motel to many people!

Clean and quiet.

Not enough wash cloths. Check in was weird.

Great room, clean and quiet. There was no freezer portion of the fridge or coffee/tea/maker in the room though. Other than that it was great. Lady who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating and even offered to help carry our suitcases in for us.

Very helpful staff

Odour in the hall and the room. Access with key was challenging to get in the building.

Tim Hortons

Helpfull staff

Rooms were clean but smelling very bad

Clean and good service

easy park

Polite friendly service Great local knowledge. Clean well kept property

The hotel and room were spotless I would go back again enjoyed my stay there

There was nothing not to like it was clean quite and very happy to the care of you lady at front desk 10 out of 10

No breakfast, next door to Tim Horton’s

Tim Horton’s right beside. Easy access to trunk of car.

Great stay.

Easy to find and comfortable

Shame on management for having a single staff member at this property. She was run ragged and there was a substantial wait to check in. Not her fault. Having two staff would have changed everything. Room was great for the price btw.

Large clean room at a very good price. Also a very good location

Very nice place

Comfy beds in a spacious room. Quiet location. Lots of hot water in the bathroom.

No coffee maker or kettle for making hot water.

The room is clean and big

Nice place to stay.

The rooms were dated with the decor but spotlessly clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Will be staying here at the next opportunity.

Absolutely wonderful in every way.
