Glyntwrog House

Das Zimmer (Nr. 1) war groß, komfortabel und gemütlich. Modernes neues Bad und alles in Topzustand. Zu Fuß konnte man in ca. 15 Minuten in den Ort laufen und mit dem Auto ist man schnell in alle Richtungen unterwegs. Das Frühstück war von sehr guter Qualität und lecker. Als Alternative zum klassischen Frühstück gab es auch immer ein Special, das für Abwechslung sorgte. Und zum Abschied noch Welsh Cakes :-) Bei allem in dem Haus erkennt man die Liebe zum Detail. Sean war sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich.

Everything! Sean showed us around, made us feel so welcome from the start. The huge room was beautifully decorated, views out the window, very very clean. With lots of thoughtful things for our comfort. Breakfast delicious, felt like royalty being waited on. Two days not enough, definitely 5 stars ✨️

Beautiful and very atmospheric guesthouse where we felt very welcome! The owners take great care of their guests and know how to provide excellent hospitality with a warm and personal touch. We loved the breakfasts! Highly recommended, would love to come back one day!

Sean!!! Where do you start. From the time you stepped foot on the property to the time you left, he was The Man. He ensured your stay was Perfecto. He was the perfect Host, from his humorous banter to his cullinary skills, rhetoric and more. The stay was a delight, the location was perfect and the town was better than we anticipated.

The shared bathroom (gottcha) - only joking - a wonderful ensuite.

For value for money I don’t think our stay could be improved.

The house and room were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts, Sean and Mary-Ann, were very friendly and professional, making us feel welcomed and giving recommendations for local activities and restaurants. The breakfast was tailored to our wishes and excellent quality. The B&B being just outside the main village made it perfect for us to enjoy a couple of peaceful nights away from the bustle of everyday life.

Just left Glyntwrog House today and already we want to go back! First off, the location is brilliant, just far enough outside Betws-y-Coed to be quiet, but walking distance into town. We have had a fantastic stay, its a beautiful building, then you add a beautifully decorated and spacious room, luxuriously comfortable bed with fab bedclothes, everywhere spotless and nothing too much trouble for star of the show Sean. We enjoyed some great banter, amazing breakfasts, and his wealth of knowledge about the area, and where best to go to ensure we had a brilliant time - can't thank him and Mary-Ann enough.

Juste la sortie du parking qui n’est pas facile à cause de la circulation. Le parking privé lui même est parfait.

The best guest house we've ever stayed in (UK and abroad). The bed was very comfortable, the room had everything we needed including space to put stuff. The smart TV allowed us to watch anything we wanted. Great shower that worked without needing a degree in plumbing. Delicious breakfast freshly prepared. We stayed during a heatwave and the whole house was cool! We even slept under the summer duvet. Beautiful, well kept gardens with lots of birds visiting to feed. Quiet at night despite being close to a road. The location was perfect for Betws, Yr Wyddfa area and close to main routes taking you further afield. Sean recommended Caenarfon to us (we're not mountaineers but we love castles and scenery) and we had a fabulous day, including the most beautiful scenic routes there and back.

De eigenaren van Glyntwrog House zijn erg gastvrij. Het ontbijt is lekker en met aandacht gemaakt. Wij hebben hier heerlijk geslapen ondanks dat het tweepersoonsbed kleiner is dan wij zijn gewend (140 breed). Glyntwrog House ligt op loopafstand van het centrum van Betws-y-Coed. Daarbij ligt op een centrale plek om Noord Wales te ontdekken. Wat ons betreft zeker een aanrader!

Perfect location. Beautiful house and really friendly and helpful hosts. Gorgeous breakfast. You can walk into Betwys directly from the house - it's footpath all the way. So you don't have to worry about parking the car. Lots of great hikes in the area as well, and plenty of shops, cafes, etc in Betwys.

The guest house is rightly classed as four star (it should be ten stars). Absolutely stunning room, comfortable bed, whole property decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Breakfast was fabulous and very well presented with a Great choice of food. Sean (hope spelling correct) the owner gave us such a lovely welcome and was so accommodating during our stay. When we return to North Wales we will without hesitation stay here again.

Sean, the owner was super friendly and very knowledgable about the area. The room was spotless, tastefully decorated and the bed was so comfy. Dining room was lovely and special little touches on the table, for example cute little salt and pepper pots with dinky spoons. Breakfast was the best we have every had at a B&B. Proper restaurant quality. All locally produced and presented beautifully. Their is a step hill to the house, so would be a problem for some, but not an issue for us. We will be back!!

This was our third visit to Glyntwrog House and it was as lovely as ever! Sean is an amazing host and cannot do enough for his guests. His breakfasts are amazing!

Sean and Mary-Ann are lovely people and the perfect hosts. Little touches, like homemade cakes (especially the Welsh cakes, which I loved :D) and individually prepared breakfasts (full traditional and vegetarian options) with local ingredients, made our stay extra special. Sean also gives excellent advice on what to do in the region. It was our first time in Wales, and we absolutely loved it. The B&B is perfectly located: just a 10-minute walk from the charming town of Betws-y-Coed, and only 20 minutes by car from the hikes around Snowdon and the Glyders.
