Very good location and near to the Eden Project and other attractions . Well maintained. Great staff. Excellent restaurant and good parking.

Everything! Staff were amazing, food was wonderful, historic setting with a medieval well at the foot of the garden …. I fell asleep to the sound of the original brook bubbling past under my window.

A very warm welcome, we didn’t spend much time there as were only on a flying visit. We had a nice quick drink in the bar but left too early for breakfast, but they were kind enough to make us a great packed breakfast BLT, juice and fruit :)

The interiors were a little dated but it was comfortable and clean and that’s all that really matters! The staff were lovely

Absolutely magical hotel with the best cosy bedroom and so clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The gardens were such a surprise with tropical plants and stream, and plenty of private seating amongst the trees and plants. 5 stars to the chef for a fabulous evening meal and breakfast. This place has everything you need and more for a relaxing break with a big carpark and near to The Eden Project and many more sightseeing places. I would definitely stay here again as I've stayed in many hotels and I can honestly say this has been the best..Thankyou!

The place is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful conservatory where you can enjoy breakfast and a lush garden that invites you to take a peaceful stroll along the river. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here!

Decor and furnishings were miserable. No toiletries in one room. One room smelled damp. No place to sit downstairs as door to communal area was locked. Quite a few dogs in the restaurant

Very friendly welcome from Donna who explained everything. The garden is amazing! Excellent breakfast each day - good quality sausages and bacon. The room was very clean and the shower is incredibly powerful!

The welcome from the staff, Donna, was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast at the property both of which were most enjoyable.

Ambiance, food, setting and staff all lead to a very rested break. It was so comfortable that you felt you were at home chatting to other guests. Really lovely break. Highly recommend.

Awesome location and incredible staff. The gardens in the back were just a continuation of the “Eden Project” we had just experienced. Cannot say enough about the staff, our dinner and the breakfast.

The food and the staff at the hotel were excellent. The location of the hotel was good. The gardens were lovely.

We knew before we arrived that there would be no evening meal provided on Sunday. This was the only downside as after a six hour journey we knew we would to go out for dinner.

We ate in the restaurant the first night and it was excellent. We were upgraded to a ground floor room at no extra cost, which was lovely. Everyone we met was really kind and helpful. Our dog was treated like a star the whole time

The bed was really quite uncomfortable (hard mattress with a centre dip) and I couldn't use the shower as there was no non-slip mat and I have a broken leg so didn't dare risk it

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding I would recommend anyone to stay here

Everything about this place is exceptional. Right from the warmest greeting through to the final check out is done in a way you want to return. A truly exceptionally warm stay. Superb food and a Guinness better than I’ve anywhere else👍

Staff very welcoming, Room with outside patio had a really comfy bed, Food was freshly cooked and delicious, The garden and garden walk was spectacular, All the places we wanted to visit were easily reached and the local petrol station was reasonably priced.

Perfect staff food everything

This was our second visit. That should tell you something. We again liked the inn with good variety of of breakfast options, room was spacious, plenty of free parking. It was convenient for the attractions we wanted to visit. Dinner, optional extra, is available and very good quality. We would like to visit again.

Healthy choices for breakfast. Amy on breakfast service was excellent, rooms clean and comfortable, some had pets luckily kept away but should be kept quieter, not the establishments fault the standed failure of the owners!!!

I had a small but very comfortable room at the Waterwheel. The bed was roomy for a single person and the shower was excellent. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful and the meals were good. This is a well run hotel and very good value for money.

Hotel in lovely location and grounds were wonderful, the food in the restaurant was good and room was very comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Location. It was sadly raining most of the weekend which meant people staying in the hotel. In these conditions there wasn’t enough seating in the lounge area.
