An absolute gem of a historical Chinese house in a perfect setting. Very large comfortable room; immaculate with a vast bathroom. What a treat to stay there. Breakfast a lovely variety of staff are all amazingly helpful and kind.

As previously mentioned there is some unavoidable road noise but we slept really well with ear plugs in. Would still stay here again in a heartbeat. Also ignore Booking.com saying you have a parking space! There may still be space but, if not, staff will help you finding somewhere.

Spacious room with comfy bed . Local or western breakfast menu to choose from, serve by friendly staffs. 2 mins. walk to Jonker street with lots of local shops nearby. Ideal location for family. Malay restaurants just a walk away behind the property.

I don’t know why this property has only 8+ ⭐️ review - it should be 10++⭐️ as everything was just perfect! We had a fantastic stay ever in this fabulous old house in middle of Melaka! Highly extremely recommended!!!!

過去にも数回宿泊しています。ホテルチェックイン時にデポジット約2500円を預けます。最初の１、２回は、クレジットカードでいったん支払い、後で、リファンドしてもらうことになっていました。ホテル側はリファンド手続したとのことですが、なぜか私の口座には入金されてきませんでした。その後は、現金でデポジットを支払うようにしています。 クレジットカードのリファンドは、上手くいかないことがあると思うので、現金でのデポジット支払いが良いのではと思います。

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Heeren Palm Suites made our stay truly memorable. Everyone we met was warm, attentive, and proactive—offering thoughtful recommendations, helping with small requests before we even asked, and checking in to be sure we were comfortable throughout. Their genuine hospitality really stood out and added a personal touch to the whole experience. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated with heritage details, and impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom well-appointed, and the overall ambiance calm and relaxing. The location is excellent—quiet, yet just a short walk to Jonker Street and the main sights.

heaters are slower to warm up and staff did inform us in advance.

The room facing Jonker street is very noisy and hardly able to sleep. The towels in the bathroom are very old.

Most importantly to me is the close proximity to the Jonker Street Market spot, at the quieter road parallel to Jonker Street. Therefore, just ideal. The room is huge and they managed to preserve the original structure of probably more than 100 years old! The staffs are friendly and ever willing to help with whatever we needed and the room is squeaky clean!

The onsite parking is very limited although there is another secured parking at another building nearby.

Невероятная атмосфера исторического здания отеля. На первом этаже даже есть комната по типу небольшого музея. Персонал вежлив и дружелюбен, быстро заселили, помогли затащить чемодан на 3-й этаж. На завтраках тоже всё было отлично. Номер очень понравился, мебель в индийском стиле, все удобства работают, есть небольшой безалкогольный мини-бар. Расположение отличное, до Джонкер Волк пройти всего минут 5-7. В общем отлично здесь провели пару ночей, а Малакка оказалась гораздо интереснее, чем предполагали изначально.

The room was spacious and well appointed. The location was great for exploring Melaka. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was ample and flavoursome.

Lage sehr gut, im Zentrum aber doch nicht direkt am Nachtmarkt ; das historische Haus ist sehr schön, sehr schön und mit Liebe zum Detail renoviert; unser Zimmer war sehr groß , Frühstück war fein (kleine aber feine Auswahl malayischer Frühstücks-Speisen, Toasts ets gabs auch)

Das erste Zimmer zeigte auf die Strasse und war sehr laut. Man konnte es nicht richtig verdunkeln. Wir konnten dann aber in ein anderes wechseln, das ruhig war und sich verdunkeln liess. Das Frühstück ist etwas eintönig und es gibt zu wenig Auswahl und zu wenig frische Früchte. In vergleichbaren Hotels in Malaysia hatten wir immer reichlichere Frühstücke. Der Preis dieses Hotels ist für das Gebotene eher zu hoch und man zahlt eindeutig die gute Lage.

Some details could be further improved. E.g., the air-con outdoor compressor units can be mounted on elastic (rubber) feet, so as to mitigate the noise from them.

Beautiful old mansion. I got the room on the 3rd floor with a balcony. Clean, spacious and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice local breakfast. Great location, close to the action but still quiet. Walking distance to Jonker street and eateries.

I like the location and the cleanliness of the hotel.

I didn't like some of the operation of the hotel. A simple thing eg: mineral water. They only provide a small bottle of mineral water for us. When we asked for more, they told us that we are supposed to pay extra for it. They should also provide umbrellas for customers to use in case of rainy days.

建物の雰囲気、スタッフサービスどれも非常に良かったです。　広くはないけれどroof top gardenで心地良い風を感じました。

非常にワガママなのですが、もう少しStadthuysに近ければ。。とは感じました。　ヒーレン通りは静かな通りで、人通りもそれほど多くないので夜はちょっと気になりました（舗道が整備されてないので夜道は足許が危険！）。 エレベーターは無くすべて階段使用ですので注意が必要でしょう。 またヒーレン通りにはHereenと名の付くホテルが林立していますので気をつけてください。

Hotel was full of character - a fantastic & lovingly restored building throughout - really well located in the heart of Malacca. Staff were very friendly & helpful, room was clean & spacious, and the breakfast was good too.

The blinds in the room looked good but weren’t great at keeping the light out from the inner courtyard lights - some proper blackout blinds or curtains would be a good addition.

Room was an inner room which had a window over one of the staircases. The light remained on all night and the louvred blinds they had still let in light so the sleep was not restful. The room was large and well furnished and overall comfortable.

The hotel is close to all the main attractions in central Malacca. My room was large, comfortable and well-appointed - although without any direct external light access or window. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

Room was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It faced onto the main road but there was little noise. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and plenty of amenities. We had a good local breakfast and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. It is in the old town so most of the sights to see were within walking distance. I got the room on the 3rd floor..Really loved it ..Big room with a king bed..The sitting area in the room was really nice ..Deco of the room was really outstanding..Bathroom was huge ..Nothing to complain about in that room..Everything was perfect..Staff was very polite, friendly and so helpful. Has a person who doesn't normally have breadfast..This is one of the best breadfast I had ..The breadfast was so delicious 😋 and outstanding..It made me feel at home during my young days ..Everything was perfect from the porridge, spaghetti , nasi Lemak with the chicken rending, Bihun and lots more . Enjoyed every moment of my breadfast..Only thing I feel maybe a coffee machine could be installed so guest can get a latte for breadfast will be great ..

The bathroom blinds were broken and the staff said it’s meant to be that way. But blinds were inwards meaning that you could see from outside in, not the other way which is what is meant to be.

It's old world charm and ambience. A great breakfast each morning was a clincher.

We had a front room initially, but proved noisy at night as my wife couldn't sleep. We requested a quieter room which was smaller but quieter.

Le logement est très bien situé (possibilité de visiter tout le centre de Malacca à pied). L'hôtel est dans une maison typique Peranakan et a beaucoup de charme (les parties communes mais également les chambres). Il y a du choix pour le petit déjeuner (salé, sucré). Le cadre est très agréable, idéal pour un couple.

The traditional Malaysian decor of this hotel was beautiful and intricate. It made us feel like royalty. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, a road leading off jonker street (the main street attraction) but also much quieter and some interesting buildings nearby.

Nothing much - don't forget to turn on the switch for water heater if you want hot water ! It was off when we arrived but staff were very helpful to show us.

Old town Melaka in this hotel our suite was spacious and the bathroom was modern and beautiful. The bed was spacious and lounge chair amazing. Enjoyed the walkable tours . Food suggestions and many options to eat and shop. This hotel was over 100 years d with Asian inlays and carved furnishings. The Portuguese architecture was awesome blended with Chinese decor. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to stay here again.
