Robinsong Bed and Breakfast

Awesome little B&B for an over night stay

The hosts were lovely. Chatty and engaged their guests yet gave guests lots of privacy. Very knowledgeable about the area and history of the area. One of the highlights was the gourmet breakfasts.

Hosts were incredible. The 1940's house impeccable. Not all rooms have private bath (ours did). Breakfast was fresh and innovative, with pure maple syrup. Walking distance to Welland Canal - and close to many wineries. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was Amazing! Such a gorgeous home and amazing host.

Robinsong is a charming B&B. The house is beautifully maintained. Dale and Terry are wonderful hosts and cook the best breakfast ever! We highly recommend Robinsong.

Very friendly and helpful

Pleasant stay.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay from arrival thru departure in the historic town of Thorold! Our lovely hosts were both welcoming and friendly. We loved our very comfortable and cozy room filled with old world charm. Breakfast was sumptuous and served in a sun-lit elegant dining room! We highly recommend this venue and look forward to visiting Robinsong B&B again soon!

Excellent

We had a wonderful stay Dale and Terry are amazing hosts. Perfect location for Niagara on the Lane and the Falls. Our room was delightful and spacious. Would definitely recommend.

The host couple were amazing. Felt very welcomed into their home. The Breakfast was outstanding. Delicious and plenty. Rooms are very nice. 5 stars!!!!!

Warm attentive hosts

Our entire stay at Robinsong was first class. Our hostess and host were outstanding and very personable. Their suggestions on where to go and what to do ended up being the highlights of our trip. Breakfast was outstanding each day. Place was extremely clean! They even iron the sheets! Highly recommend for somewhere quiet, but within easy driving distance of the wineries and Niagra on the Lake.

Beautiful property with great host! I had a great time staying here. The big breakfast was also amazing.

Another great stay at this property. Hosts are super nice and they cook an excellent breakfast.

Great Value

Excellent!

I enjoyed my stay immensely at Robinsong Bed and Breakfast. I was staying with Dale and Terry for over a week and they made me feel very much at home and also went far above and beyond what was necessary for my comfort. The were so kind to me. The house itself and gardens are beautiful, the rooms spotlessly clean and pool is a perfect size for laps and was excellently maintained . The breakfasts were amazing and so well presented. No need for lunch after one of their breakfasts. I cannot recommend Robinsong enough!

La proprietere était très joviale!

It was a lovely bed & breakfast, owners were wonderful. They were friendly, great recommendations and the breakfast was amazing.

Great hosts. Beautiful room and yummy breakfast. Be aware that they do not accept cards as payment, only cash or etransfer. Not sure about cheques. I used etransfer. Very simple.

We really enjoyed our : day stay at the Robinsong B&B . Great room, quiet , beautiful garden and pool and as many other traveler mentioned an over the top breakfast! And outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend it

Thanks, Dale, for being so kind and welcoming!

Lovely stay at Robinsong. Tasty big breakfasts (fresh fruit, homemade muffins, egg dish - eggs Florentine, eggs Benedict, etc.) Full run of the main floor (enjoyed reading in the sun room on a rainy day) and the pool outside. Everything was top-notch - nothing overlooked. Especially liked that we were able to store our e-bikes securely in the garage and the nice pitcher of ice-water delivered to our room each evening. How nice, at the end of a long, hot day! Very close to Welland canal bike trail. Would highly recommend if you're in the area. Well done Dale and Terry!

Beautiful, very clean, very friendly, lovely breakfast.

Beautiful b&b and incredible hosts. Very thoughtful is so many ways.

Dale & Terry were very welcoming:) Breakfast was amazing and it was so sweet they found a perfect place to park motorcycle!

Terry and Dale were wonderful hosts! Huge pool to swim in and a fabulous breakfast . Clean, room was perfect! We will be back!

Terry and Dale are exceptional hosts. Their B & B is well-kept and beautifully maintained. My room was very comfortable and fully stocked with amenities (towels, robes). Breakfast was wonderful fresh fruit, muffins, tea or coffee all prepared and served in the sunroom. I definitely recommend this B & B.

We loved our stay at Dale’s!

Robinsong B&B was a beautiful home and our stay with our charming hosts, Dale and Terry was delightful. We felt warmly welcomed and very comfortable in our second floor en-suite master bedroom. Our plentiful gourmet breakfasts were amazingly prepared and presented with style. Although the town is very small and does not have a lot to offer with entertainment/restaurants, Niagara Falls and all it has to offer, was a mere 20 minutes away. For sure, if you are coming to see the Falls, the Canadian side is the place to be! We would not hesitate to book with Robinsong again!

Be sure to read through the listing and notice what's NOT there. I was really surprised to realize there was no television inside the house, not even in a common room. Not that I NEED one to pass the time, but as I didn't pack my book my options were limited. Also didn't realize the bathroom was shared. Another guest staying in the room next to mine kept me up all night long shouting, having loud conversations (with himself??), and going in & out of his room. Add in the outside noise (boats in the Welland Canal, cars racing up & down the street), footsteps from the 3rd floor overhead- and did I mention it was about 90F inside the room with no AC? Made for a very uncomfortable and, almost, sleepless night. You expect these things in a motel but B&Bs are usually quieter & more private- one of the reasons I booked here. Dale & Terry were very accommodating about a vegetarian non-dairy breakfast which they served to me the exact minute it was promised. The food was delicious and filling. Conversation with both hosts was pleasant. Off-street parking was convenient and it's a short walk to a few restaurants and a 7-eleven if you need anything. The only other hiccup is that if you are a US citizen they do NOT accept credit cards. I don't travel with a debit card or checkbook so it was a very stressful evening trying to figure out how to pay them the $$ they were owed. I really wish that had been stated in the listing as I feel it was almost deceptive to not be included.

Great hospitality and home. Felt super cozy and the hosts were amazing. We really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend.

Great place to stay when exploring the Niagara region.

Didn't realize there was no en-suite.

The breakfasts that were prepared were over the fresh, beautiful and delicious. Host were friendly and accommodating.

The owners are extremely friendly, professional and polite. The house is immaculate, spacious and comfortable. All the stay information was explained efficiently. The owners are very well versed in the history of the area and gave suggestions for places to visit and local eateries.

We stayed for 2nights and it was a lovely place. The breakfast was amazing. Dale greeted us daily and was full of information. I would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast 😀

The location was convenient for our concert. Way to find and park. Dale was a great host and very pleasant. Terry makes an excellent eggs Benedict. All in all, a nice place for a quick getaway.

I don’t have words to express how amazing this bread and breakfast was!!! Starting off with a cute and quiet town and very friendly hosts!!! I was blown away at the breakfast that was served along with amazing coffee!!! This stay was a treat!!!

Robinsong is 5 minutes from the Welland Canal. On our first evening there, we saw a laker ship move through the lock. So interesting! Robinsong is spotlessly clean. It is located within close driving distance from Niagara-on-the-Lake…handy when attending the Shaw Festival. It is also close driving distance to Niagara Falls. The neighborhood is so interesting to walk through, with many heritage homes identified. We drove to Decew Falls and walked on the Bruce Trail and the Laura Secord Heritage Trail on a wonderful fall day! Breakfasts were awesome! Dale knows so much about her own community of Thorold, and was a source of valuable information.

Fantastic place to stay. Very quiet neighbourhood, easy to locate. Dale and Terry were a joy to visit telling us the history of the region. Breakfast was really delicious. Made our weekend special.

Great location and coffee and PASTRY at the corner.

We will stay again, says it all I think.

excellant B&B, could fix the squeaking of the doors to the rooms and bathroom.

Beautiful yard and swimming pool accessible to guests Excellent breakfast

Amazing We had a great stay Breakfast was the best I ever had in a bnb

We loved the property, and the service was amazing.

This was our third stay at Robinsong. Dale and Terry are terrific hosts who treated us like family. Breakfasts were delicious and so filling we didn’t stop for lunch. We shared stories and laughter, then relaxed by the pool, in the Tiki bar and under the trees in the beautiful garden. Dale even drove us to the drop-off location for our wine tour. That’s exceptional service. This home and grounds are lovingly maintained. Sit back, relax and pretend you’re at an exclusive spa.

Dale is a fantastic host - the property is beautiful and the breakfast is superb!

Endroit propre et calme, excellent rapport qualité/prix. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et nous ont servi un petit déjeuner digne des meilleurs restaurants!

Very personal service. Our hosts went way beyond our expectation in looking after us. Would recommend to anyone. The whole property and the house is really beautiful and kept so very well

Amazing B & B! Would highly recommend! Dale and Terry could not have been more welcoming. Robinsong is stunning and feels like a home from home. The property is spotlessly clean, the breakfast was superb and location was perfect. Thank you very much for giving us such a great start to our Canadian vacation, Terry and Alli x

The hosts were extremely hospitable and accommodating. The location was very close to NOTL and wineries, which was the purpose of our visit. The home was very welcoming and immaculate. Fun sitting at the tiki bar poolside in the evening with a glass of wine!! Breakfast was amazing!! fresh, homemade, delicious and so much food!

Beautiful house and property swimming pool and flowers. Outstanding breakfast. But shared bathroom. Rene’

A very lovely and peaceful place to rest.

The decor was lovely, and very clean. The hosts were very welcoming. We had a delicious breakfast.

Dale and Terry were a delight they treated us like family the place was like grandma’s place would highly recommend this place oh the breakfast was fantastic they went above and beyond and they had history stories we did not know so we got a lot out of our trip thanks to them can’t thank them enough best place to stay

Dale and Terry were fantastic hosts. From the moment we arrived, they warmly greeted us, setting the tone for the exceptional hospitality we would enjoy throughout our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the incredible food. From freshly baked muffins and seasonal fruits to mouthwatering French Toast, every dish was a culinary delight.Thank You Dale and Terry for a wonderful stay and an incredible feast! I highly recommend this B&B to anyone seeking a memorable getaway with outstanding hospitality. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Lovely hostess, the house is beautiful and has lots of space to have to relax either on the den or inside. For breakfast there was homemade strawberries muffins , beautiful fruit plate and you can choose the way you wanted eggs on fresh toasts .

We had a really lovely stay here. The hosts, Terry and Dale were incredibly welcoming. The house is beautiful and absolutely spotless! Breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed the company of the other guests. We will be back for another stay!

The Homecooked breakfasts were excellent! Freshly baked muffins were a regular offering. Fresh fruit was also provided along with the "dish of the day"

This is 21st century and yet this place doesn't have a credit card and no way for me to charge it. Instead, I have to mail international checks and jump through hoops in order to to close my bill. Other than that, the place is clean. The host is friendly. The pillows are not that comfortable. Overall I would not recommend this place.

It was cleaned. Food was good. Close to the tourist information center and Welland canal

Very comfortable. Hosts very helpful snd accommodating.

This is one of the best B and B's we have stayed in. The breakfasts were amazing (almost too much food) and the hosts were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back someday.

Our stay was great. The host made us feel at home. Terry and Dale, both were very friendly. I so loved their breakfast. More than taste, the way breakfast was presented, was surely a great work of art. We loved our stay and hope to be back in future.

Robinsong is a beautiful home and an inspiring space. Located in a historic area of town, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. Dale and Terry are wonderful hosts and their breakfast the best I've ever had!

Dale was lovely and kind, so helpful and accommodating

Everything was excellent. It's just that simple.

We had a lovely time. Such a warm friendly host and an outstanding breakfast. Good beds and sheets. Clean and great and romantic room.

Very nice couple. Had a nice patio out back with a pool. Even had a tiki bar!

Nicest hosts in the known universe, this is hands down our favourite BnB!

Owners and staff went out of their way to welcome us and to make us feel comfortable. The food was delicious!

Dale and Terry were wonderful hosts. They offered a beautiful bed and breakfast that was immaculate and nicely decorated. There is a huge pool in the lovely back garden under the silver maple with comfortable areas to sit in the shade or sun. Breakfast was tasting and filling and while we were there we had some great breakfast conversation with the other two couples staying there.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful Vintage home. Hosts, Dale & Terry were very kind and shared many stories. Very clean and quiet and big breakfast. Pool was awesome, well kept and clean.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Robinsong!! Hosts were very friendly and personable. Breakfasts were amazing! Very healthy, tasty meals with an abundance of food! Pool was refreshing! Would highly recommend Robinsong!

We stayed at Robinsong property during a visit to Niagara on the Lake. The location was great. Our room was prepared early as arranged. The owners were attentive to all our needs. The pool was crystal clear and refreshing. Breakfast was amazing! The bed was very comfortable. No complaints. We would stay here again!

Dale was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious. The pool area was really relaxing.

Was such a beautiful property. Nice people. Beautiful pool, tiki bar, comfy beds. Very clean and trusting. And the breakfast was so incredible. We didnt go downstairs until close to check out and they still made us breakfast. We are so happy with our stay and would definitely stay again!!!

Nice, clean and quiet property. Gave good advice on features that were nearby and walkable. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Very friendly. Convenient location.

Very friendly, beautiful and clean. Breakfast was excellent.

The cleanliness of this entire Bed & Breakfast is Impeccable! This is the place to stay if outstanding housekeeping matters to you. Attention to detail in every aspect stands out from decorating to table settings. Be prepared to be spoiled with a breakfast that is lovingly made from scratch with a copious quantity which includes fruit, muffins followed with a complete breakfast. Absolutely delicious and a challenge to finish, since you will not want to leave anything left on your plate. Dale and Terry make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend.

A lovely, well appointed, warm home with gracious hostess and exquisite breakfast and stay !

We had a beautiful stay at Robinsong this weekend. The property was beautiful, the rooms were clean and well decorated, and the couple running the B&B were friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a great breakfast, and the pool looked beautiful (although we didn't have time to use it during this visit). Looking forward to our next stay!

Terry is a wonderful host!

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great host. Wonderful breakfast. Terri and Dale, thank you. We will return.

Lovely historic area. The house is beautiful. The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable.

This was our first time and a Bed & Breakfast and my hopes were not set incredibly high. Robinsong went above and beyond our expectations. The Dale was incredibly kind, full of information, great to talk to. The breakfast was amazing? Very quiet neighborhood. Slept like a baby in the comfortable bed and clean room. We will definitely be visiting again!

Very nice B&B, easy to find. Breakfast was AMAZING!!!

Beautifully furnished and maintained, our hosts very welcoming, and tasteful (and tasty!) breakfast. One of the best B & B's in the Niagara region I have ever stayed in -- so hope to be back!

Dale and Terry were great hosts! Breakfast was great! Lots of food so make sure you have an appetite! The backyard was awesome- it has a tiki bar and pool and a sitting area. The hot tub was unfortunately not working 😢

The house is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are comfortable with an antique feel. We really enjoyed using the pool, spending some time in the backyard and by the tiki bar.

Second time we have stayed at this property. The rooms are comfortable, bright, and clean. The hosts are exceptional, as is the breakfast experience. We were able to enjoy the large pool and the tiki bar. Overall I'd rate this as the best B&B we have stayed at.

We loved the beautiful breakfast in the morning, and that it was within walking distance to restaurants. A great bed and breakfast!

The property was beautifully maintained and had a very welcoming vibe. Dale and Terry were wonderful and welcoming. They answered all of our questions and provided suggestions, directions and advice when requested. They are warm and inviting.

Great hosts, lovely pool, delicious breakfast, comfortable room.

.

We had an incredible breakfast and were given great tips on nearby cycling routes. The house is really beautiful and the rooms are lovely. Dale recommended nearby restaurants which we enjoyed. It's a quiet area very close to the Welland Canal locks.
