Overall I would say that my stay here has been great however I am writing this review due to the experience I have had with one of the receptionists, specifically Magdelena. She was very rude and dismissive. My partner and i were politely asking simple requests but were completely dismissed and felt she was rude and abrupt. This is not what we expect from a 5 star hotel - customer service should be friendly and helpful not dismissive like this. I believe that you pay a premium to stay at a 5 star hotel like this due to the service that comes with it but honestly feel very disappointed with the lack of attentiveness and coldness of Magdelena.

Great hotel, warm and friendly staff. Great location with beautiful view. Quite areas for ages 18 and up. Nice spa with jacuzzi and stream pool, hamam, wet and dry sauna, therapy shower and more. Great breakfast with a different food options. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful.

This is the third year my daughter and I have been to Hotel Coronado - planning a fourth!! - we cannot fault this deservedly 5 star hotel. Food is brilliant, rooms are spacious and spotless and all the staff friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. The location is wonderful offering beautiful pool area and a pretty beach area in a peaceful area with beautiful views.

Location, view, breakfast, pools, staff and service was absolutely wonderfull, but the bed was to hard, did not sleep well, and the chairs on the rooms balcony was uncomftable and the balcony light at night was very bright, and for thoose reasons would we not return another time

The Hotel Coronado in Mallorca is far from a five star hotel. The room we got was a standard room, incredibly small, not even room for a luggage, which they did not provide.The room had a hot water kettle and cups but no supplies for coffee or tea as usual on even mid range hotels. We asked the housekeeper and was informed that the standard rooms did not get anything of that. Breakfast was enjoyable on the veranda with water views. The breakfast staff were helpful but some were just rude. Overall unfriendly staff. We will not return to the Coronado Hotel or recommend it. Take note … Also it seems that part of the hotel pools facilities are clothing optional, with no clear signage, and there were children running around in this area.

Location is amazing , rooms super clean , easy access to parking . Pool is very neat and clean . Only one thing they need to improve breakfast has no variety it’s poor

The junior suite that I booked was on the 1st floor, it had a great view of the sea. The room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a choice of pillows that you can order from a menu. I loved the adults only pool on level 4 and spent most of my day there sunbathing and reading. The proximity to the beach was also superb. There is a limited shuttle bus service to the nearest town which I did not use, but is handy for travellers. The breakfast dining room also had a fabulous view of the water.

Breakfast was very limited. Even though it had the usual, but the taste was not that great. The location of this hotel is also pretty far out, which was OK with me as I wanted somewhere quiet for deep relaxation. However, the taxi will cost about 50 euros each way from the airport. Taxis are the cheapest way to travel and all you have to do is to get reception to book you a taxi. Ubers are more expensive. On level 6, there is a rooftop view and sundeck chairs, there is a bizarre rule that you have to pay 50 euros for each sundeck chair, when hotel guests are paying 350 euros a night at this hotel. These should come complimentary. Further, complimentary water should be provided each day and not only upon check in.

Fantastic set for this aging not 5 star hotel providing services close to 3 stars. All positive sides of this hotel wasted by poor professionslism of staff, hiding behind rude attitude when they are visible - do not care about the clients even if spending price of luxury suite : being told off like at school canteen by young cook for not telling him that i wanted grilled vegetables with my grilled salmon, waiting 30 minutes for a vermouth which they did not have, waiting 45 mns for food to arrive on your plate, despite 3 waiters avoiding any eye contact, being chased by receptionist for bringing plate of fruit to the room despite having ok from restaurant- all you espect from a would be 5-star hotel for a client paying the most expensive suite for 7 days - I knew from previous experience and friends that Mallorca staff have an attitude issue with arrogance and rudeness - I was hoping it would have been different in a would be 5-star hotel - but not !

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stehts bemüht. Vor allem im Restaurant und beim Frühstück.

Das Hotel stinkt. Fühlt sich eher an wie eine Jugendherberge als ein Hotel. Maximal 3 Sterne. Auf keinen Fall 5. Es ist mir ein Rätsel wie das Hotel 5 Sterne bekommen hat. Man hat das Gefühl es wird einem für jedes Extra Geld abgezogen. Das Frühstück ist armselig. Der Kaffee ekelhaft. Auch das Obst und Gemüse ist ohne Geschmack und wirkt so als wäre es gefroren gewesen und dann aufgetaut. Kann man nicht essen. Das einzig schöne an dem Hotel ist die Lage. Ich würde jeden empfehlen das Hotel direkt nebenan zu buchen. Es ist viel schöner und günstiger.

Location is absolutely wonderful. The staff called “the crew” is very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast terrace is fabulous. The beach bag with beach towels ready was very useful. Great idea!

The hotel is great. With a very comfortable room, amazing view of the sunrise and the ocean. The whole structure of the hotel is well organized with options for family, couples and kids. The breakfast has a lot of options and great quality. Even going during the peak season the hotel was not crowded and beach in front had not that many people

The dinner is very expensive (EUR 45 per person) and the quality was terrible. The cost would not be a problem, if the food was better. But, close to the hotel you have several options for a dinner out

Es gibt mehrere Pools, vor allem auf der Dachterrasse, von der aus man einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer hat.

Die Lage war einerseits super, da wir direkt am Strand waren, andererseits gab es aber wenige Spaziermöglichkeiten.

Fantastic stay! Stayed for 5 days with 13 month old baby after a couple of similar holidays previously. Exceeded our expectations - every staff member we encountered (from cleaners to waiters to reception staff) were brilliant. They were attentive and always smiled at our baby which made us feel very welcome and relaxed. We liked the combination of family areas and quieter adults only areas and the rooftop area is well worth the price. We felt the room/corridors felt a little dated and could maybe do with a revamp but this did not impact our experience (we were in a superior room with sea view and balcony). The location is perfect - you have amazing panoramic views of the crystal clear sea and a 30 second walk to the beach. We would highly recommend this place!

The Horrible experience started even before arrival. We had problems with the booking and when talking to the manager at the hotel he was downright rude. No service at all and it is very unclear why he works in a service profession. The service on site was varied, some very nice while others were borderline rude. What was very good was the breakfast. I will never return and it is because of the manager!

Nem sempre arrumaram o quarto. Uma das vezes, entraram e levaram as toalhas mas sem arrumar o quarto. E não colocaram novas toalhas. Encontrei um bicho na minha salada, eu devolvi-a e queriam que ainda pagasse. O pessoal do bar da piscina de baixo era muito pouco acessível e disponível. A piscina de baixo (a única que podia frequentar com os meus filhos) estava sempre com as espreguiçadeiras ocupadas e sem ninguém e não tínhamos onde nos sentar. Para além de estar extremamente salgada.

Air conditioning was not good, room was not cool enough for the warm weather. We even changed rooms during the night, as it was impossible to sleep in.

Hotel Coronado is, hands down, one of the biggest tourist scams I’ve ever encountered. I genuinely don’t understand how this dump is still listed on booking platforms. What you see online is a lie – what you get in reality is a disaster. The photos? Deceptive and misleading. Many seem to be photoshopped or even stolen from other properties. They shamelessly advertise a beach that isn’t even theirs, just to lure guests in. Complete fraud. As soon as I walked into the room, I was hit with a strong smell of mold and filth. Cracked walls, broken furniture, a disgusting bathroom – everything looked like it hadn’t been renovated or cleaned properly in decades. The place is dirty, outdated, and outright repulsive. The restaurant? An absolute health hazard. Dirty plates, stained cutlery, questionable food hygiene. I felt like I was in an abandoned institution, not in a hotel charging €300 per night. This place is a disgrace. It doesn’t even deserve two stars, let alone the fake “luxury” label they parade around. It’s a complete insult to paying guests who end up being robbed in broad daylight. Avoid at all costs. This hotel will not just ruin your vacation – it will leave you angry, disgusted, and wondering how such a scam is still allowed to operate.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour, le cadre est très beau et on se sent bien très vite à l’hôtel mais aussi dans les chambres. Je recommande vivement ! Tout est accessible très vite: la crique la piscine, le spa et le cadre est vraiment agréable

Deux choses que je n’ai pas apprécié: 1/ le réceptionniste de nuit nous manqué de respect à deux reprises et la deuxième fois j’ai dû élever la voix. Monsieur en avait marre qu’on l’on perde notre carte ou qu’elle se démagnétise et se permet de nous engueuler comme des collégiens. Ça pour le coup je n’ai jamais vu ça en hôtellerie. Je pense que ce monsieur devrait mieux travailler dans un autre domaine que de passer ses nerfs pour des choses qui relèvent de son travail. Sans parler de la scene où il entre carrément dans l’ascenseur pour me montrer ce que je sais déjà et que je lui demande à mainte reprise de sortir de « back off » ce qu’il a refusé de faire jusqu’à ce que je pose la carte là ou il voulait. 2/ la femme de ménage bien qu’elle prenait soin de nettoyer la chambre, les draps n’ont pas été changé en 7j malgré le fait ma sœur a eu un accident qui taché le drap.

Viele Dinge funktionierten nicht oder waren nicht nutzbar: die Blubberfunktion im Pool waren überall defekt; die poolbar auf der Terrasse wurde sehr viel zu früh am Tag geschlossen, sodass keine Verpflegung mehr möglich war; die Cocktails waren ungenießbar; der Eingang über den Spa Bereich vom Meer und damit verbundenen Nasszellen zum fertig machen war gesperrt, sodass man immer sehr umständlich über die Lobby bis ins Zimmer musste, statt die dafür angebotenen Räumlichkeiten nutzen zu können;

location was 10/10, breakfast and facilities were super great, parking was provided for a reasonable fee, staff was friendly and helpful.

rooms are a bit small, specially the bathrooms (and they have glass doors, so they feel like they're in the middle of the room with no privacy)

L’hotel si trova in una location appartata e affascinante, ideale per rilassarsi. Il consiglio principale è semplice: scegliete la camera vista mare. Fa davvero la differenza. Le altre tipologie, purtroppo, non valorizzano l’esperienza. Le camere sono moderne e curate. Noi avevamo due letti singoli molto grandi: comodi, ma un po’ insoliti per la tipologia di stanza. Non è stato un problema, ma lo segnalo come esempio di quei piccoli dettagli che un 5 stelle probabilmente gestirebbe diversamente. Il personale è sempre gentile e sorridente, ma non aspettatevi un servizio super personalizzato. A colazione, ad esempio, abbiamo chiesto se ci portassero un espresso, ma ci è stato detto (in modo cortese) che la macchina era a disposizione in sala. Nulla di grave, ma sono quelle piccole attenzioni che fanno la differenza tra un “molto buono” e un “eccellente”. In sintesi: lo consiglio assolutamente. È un posto che merita, basta non aspettarsi coccole da 5 stelle. Se lo si vive per quello che è – un hotel bello, comodo e rilassante – ci si trova benissimo.

Sus instalaciones a pie de playa, las diferentes piscinas, el spa, el desayuno ubicado con vistas

No me gustó que por dejar el coche en la calle, en las instalaciones del hotel, quieran cobrar 20€/noche y diciendo que es imposible aparcar fuera, cuando la primera noche encontré sitio en la misma puerta del hotel y la segunda noche en el pinar un poco más arriba sin problema. No entiendo tampoco que un hotel 5* tenga zumo NO natural en el buffet de desayuno, y si lo quieres, te cobran 4,5€ por el zumo… eso demuestra que no es natural del del buffet y después de tener el desayuno pagado te carguen 4,5€ más… En el spa no dan toallas por tema de control… no lo entiendo. Luego estando en la piscina, te cobran las consumiciones como si te fueras a escapar, creo que hay que dar un voto de confianza que estamos en un hotel 5* Luego los vasos de agua de la habitación, son de publicidad de Four rouses… no se entiende!
