Terrasse Royale Hotel

Room were very clean. We checked out in the morning, but need to leave our car there until 3 PM with out any charge. 5 Minutes walking to St. Joseph basilica Mount Royal.

This is very good budget hotel in a great area. Rooms good, and with a good sitting area. Bathroom small but fully functional. Parking fine, but very tight - you may have to be double-parked underground - but easy to get clear. Good cheap breakfast

The bath was stock.. the toilette was broke. And the windows unsafe.

The room was fabulous, king suite, very clean, comfortable bed very friendly staff the room was very large with great amenities. I will stay here again. Parking is an extra $23.00 under the building.

Clean room

Stayed one night, we booked the superior room and it was great for the four of us, the room was clean and spacious - and fit us perfectly with the exception of the bathroom being pretty small, a lot of food options within walking distance, metro subway was close, saint Joseph was a couple of minutes walk, parking is limited with a fee, if it is unavailable we found nightly parking option available at the church, overall we had a great hotel stay in Montreal!

The check in process was fast and seamless. The rooms are spacious and modern. Location is in a nice, walkable neighborhood close to a university with a metro stop that takes you into the city center. Would highly recommend for travelers coming to visit Montreal who would like a comfortable hotel stay in a quieter, more charming part of town.

Fantastic hotel. Withing a few steps of the Metro (blue line). You can easily reach downtown and old Montreal within 25 minutes. The king suite we had worked great with our 8 month old baby to have a separate space for early bed. The kitchenette was great and had everything we needed for quick meals at the hotel. There was a crib provided for our baby which was a nice touch. There are lots of food options around the hotel, but mostly quick fast food, not a lot of sit down full restaurants. Overall fantastic experience and would recommend to others.

.there was a small coffee shop attached. Staff helpful english very good.extra clean. They need to explain levels for TV As the ajoining room bed is against my tv wall. At 14 i had ti sit face to face with tv. Next room complained.the walls are thin but i never heard anything in the halls. I will send a letter ti the manager. Otherwise it is.perfect friendly helpful well kept.near everything. I dud not like being told people complained about TV. I asked the staff to aplologize for.me. i liked there. Maybe they should place tv on another wall.All staff even cleaners very nice helped me work the shower.

My expectations were exceeded by this moderately priced (for Montreal standards) hotel. The room was immaculately clean and well appointed with a King bed and a separate sitting area with a larger fridge and microwave. It was close to a metro station, a grocery store and across the street from a restaurant that made fresh croissants. I had expected a hotel that may have been a little outdated, but it was not at all. It was a great place to stay and we would definitely return.

Was pleased with our choice to stay in this hotel - excellent 2 bedroom suite with small kitchen. Perfect for our needs and so convenient for all amenities.

Malheureusement la chasse de la toilette ne fonctionnait comme cela devrait et un bruit de ruissellement a persisté une partie de la nuit.

Location is really great with lots of restaurants and greenspace nearby. Gym equipment was broken but you don't really go there for the gym. Check in and checkout was easy.

Great little hotel. Very well-located, right near the subway. I appreciated that I could just park my car (in the hotel's underground lot) and forget about it. The room was large and clean. Staff were pretty friendly. Nice little cafe attached. Grocery store across the street and loads of dining options. This place would be create for a longer stay.

The kitchenette (that provided wine glasses) and the separate bedroom suite were nice. It was also conveniently located by numerous fresh markets and eating establishments.

Not enough towels in the room for 2. We had to request 2 additional towels each day. The air conditioner was in the living room, so it did not cool down the bedroom very well.

This was conviently located. The hotel has been renovated and the rooms were nice.

Stayed in a room with a kitchen. Nice big room. Comfortable bed. Cleaning staff helpful. Close to the metro and there's a bus stop 2 minute walk. Parking is limited at the hotel. There's a large carpark at the church about a 10 minutes walk away.

We loved this hotel! They offer underground parking (for $) which was perfect as we didn’t plan to drive much and wanted the car to be safe. The staff were all very friendly and bilingual. Incredibly helpful when we had questions! The room was exactly as advertised and beautiful!!! So much space for us two! Highly recommend!

The property was no problem. However, there was a man who was talking on a speakerphone in the hallway very early in the morning. It really disturbs our sleep. Also, around 4:00am in the morning, there was a sewage cleaning truck just in front of the hotel. The noise was terrible, and we couldn't sleep at all while they were working for an hour.

I was overall happy with the hotel, it was nice and clean and I loved the kitchenette

Good location, close to Mount Royale and the Metro station. The suite was comfortable and included a small kitchen with a microwave. The property also has onsite laundry, which is very convenient. Overall, we had a pleasant short stay.

Very cozy and safe area

Visiting new friends in Canada and had a wonderful and very welcoming experience. All of the staff are lovely and welcoming. I will choose this hotel again as everything, restaurants, groceries, book store, liquor stores as all withing walking distance; and by walking distance, I mean less than 5 minutes. Amazing

This was the perfect hotel for our family trip to Montreal! Location is great; it’s situated in a quiet, leafy, non-touristy neighborhood, is only a couple of blocks from a metro station, and has many affordable food options nearby. The staff are very welcoming, and laundry is free! It was nice to have a good sized sitting room in addition to the roomy bedroom and walk-in closet. I highly recommend!

There was.street construction around the property, but the parking garage was accessible, and that was valuable. It was within walking distance of a grocery store, a farmers market, and a metro train station.

Very spacious accommodations and well situated.

300 meters from the Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal. Many restaurants and grocery stores around. There are also buses and the metro to the Fine Art Museum and downtown.

All is good a plenty of shops in the local area. Room was a good size, clean and a bonus of microwave and fridge, even a kettle 😄👍

Everything was great including the friendly staff except one older man on reception who was brash and quite unwelcoming, making people feel uneasy I noticed. It was like everything was too much trouble and his clients we nuisances

Such a lovely place for a great price! With food places and grocerie stores just a few steps away, not to mention having the kitchen suit so you can make stuff at our own convenience, you’ll definitely enjoy your stay :)

Wow, il ne faut pas juger par l'apparence extérieure! J'ai couché ici avec ma fille. Je peux dire que j'ai rarement été dans une chambre d'hôtel delà sorte. Tout est beau et moderne, la salle de bain est superbe, salon avec chambre a coucher et même un walk-in! Si vous visitez Montréal pour plusieurs nuits je recommande vraiment cet hôtel. Il y a une épicerie de l'autre côté de la rue et une cuisine complète dans la chambre. Le métro est au coin de la rue. C'était vraiment une découverte agréable, juste déçu de n'y être reste qu'une seule nuit!

Large very comfortable room with couch seating, separate large walk in wardrobe. Small kitchenette ideal for holiday use. Bathroom appears new and whole apartment very clean. Warm greeting from Mo at reception. If arriving by car you must book the hotel parking. Many local buses at the door and subway transit very close.

Large apartment with two rooms and two large beds in the bedroom, and also a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is near a metro, about 25 minutes from downtown, with a modest gym that is accessible upon request from 7 to 20 o'clock. Many shops can be found around this place, one is open 24 hours and also there is a 24 hour good market. This hotel is at walking distance from St Joseph church, which is a hallmark of Montreal.

When we arrived late, the receptionist did not see that our booking was pre-paid, so we wasted a long time until booking.com and the hotel clarified the situation. There is only one elevator and sometimes the wait for it is too long. The view from our studio flat was to an ugly apartment building and it was dark, while the street view rooms were very bright. Insist on a street view room when booking at this hotel, or else it is depressing.
