Abbiamo soggiornato per 4 notti, nonostante abbiamo messo fuori dalla porta il cartellino con la dicitura "please clean the room" alla sera quando tornavamo lo trovavamo girato dalla parte "not disturb" e la stanza non era pulita, i letti non erano fatti, gli asciugamani non cambiati. La seconda sera l'abbiamo fatto presente e abbiamo dovuto chiedere almeno gli asciugamani puliti ma la sera dopo si è ripresentato il problema e abbiamo nuovamente dovuto richiedere gli asciugamani puliti.

Room far too small. Shower almost unusable. Road noise in front rooms. A hotel room should have some minimum specs. This was well below acceptable.

Lovely ground floor room. Very clean. Comfy bed.

Pastaigas attālumā atrodas centrs, pa ceļam ir veikali un cafe. Pagalmā ir a/m stāvvieta. Naktsmītnes 1.stāvā ir bārs. Istaba bija ļoti maza 10 kv.m., bet to nevar uzskatīt par mīnusu, jo istabas lielumu zinājām iepriekš. Mums nebija lielā bāgāža un tāpat bija ļoti šauri. Istabā bija elektriskā tējkanna, tējas paciņas, šķīstošā kafija, kā arī piens un cepumi, un 2 pudeles ūdens. Saimniece bija ļoti jauka.

Nebija brokastis, bet pastaigas attālumā atrodas vairākas cafe. Ieteikums- pie durvīm novietot spoguli visā augumā un pāris pakaramos pie sienas.

Propre et à proximité du centre ville à pied et avec transport en commun. La chambre que nous avions était calme et propre.

keine Kleiderhaken, weder im Zimmer noch im Bad, Handtücher usw. muss man auf den Boden oder Bett legen Das scheint in UK allerdings weit verbreitet zu sein ....

Accepted late arrival. It was on a nice and quiet street. I was too tired to use the pub, but it appeared to be a good mix of patrons & closed not long after my arrival.

Bottom floor would have been better for me but top floor probably offered more privacy in shared bathroom.

Betten waren super und nettes Personal. Kleines Tablet im Zimmer mit Wasserkocher/ Tee/Kaffee und Milk.

Sehr laut alles. Undichte Fenster,undichte Tür. Alles sehr alt, was nicht schlimm ist, aber viel kaputt. Kleines enges Bad.

Hôtel bien placé proche du tram aéroport et centre-ville, calme, propre, bon accueil.

Une seule douche pour sept chambres sauf erreur, porte de toilettes au fonctionnement délicat.

El hotel tiene un pub fantástico, con gente habitual muy agradable y simpática. El hotel es muy muy limpio. Merece la pena sólo por eso.

La ubicación está un poco alejada del centro, pero hay una parada de bus muy cercana.

Uriges Hotel mit eigenem Pub, sehr britisch. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür: gute Anbindung. Es gibt zwar kein Frühstück, aber einen Wasserkocher und Tee und sogar ein paar Kekse auf dem Zimmer.

Das Bett war recht bequem, aber sehr schmal. Die Möbel (Stuhl, Tisch) recht klapprig. Das Zimmer war sehr klein.

The manager was very rude, . However, the two gentlemen I spoke to were nice & accommodating to the best of their ability. The shared bathroom was clean. There’s not many positives to this place.

Please do not stay here, save your money for elsewhere. We had a mouse run across our beds, none of the electrics were PAT tested, extension cables running everywhere that didn’t work. The place itself was run down & falling to pieces. I went down to tell the manager that a mouse had run across our room & my bed. She told me that she was ‘off the clock’ & was sat with her glass of white wine in the bar. Exceptionally rude. We were given a plug in noise deterrent & that’s it. No other compensation. Clearly this is a big problem already known as in the morning I found a mouse trap behind the wardrobe!

Está muy bien situado. Justo al salir encuentras la parada del autobús que va al centro. La cama muy cómoda.

Uncomfortable bed and very small place

I liked that it was only a 20 minute walk to murrayfield stadium, it also is close to a high street with a few shops and restaurants which was nice for lunch and breakfast the next morning. I liked that it was easy to park and check in.

I thought it was massively overpriced, it's a room above a pub it's not a hotel. Normally this isn't a problem with me as I've stayed above pubs before but the room wasn't amazing the bedding had marks on it and the shower was dirty. £50 room maybe not £250 for a night. The bar man was also a little abrupt and didn't feel like a very warm inviting place. I was pleased with how close it was to the stadium but I wouldn't stay there again.

Eigentlich nur die Lage, Frühstück gab es keines, Zimmer war eher klein. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war einfach zu schlecht.

Handtuch vom Vorgänger hing noch im Bad, Mülleimer im Bad war nicht geleert. Blick aus dem Fenster war auf den Müll und leere Bierfässer.

Die Lage war für uns perfekt. Nicht komplett mittem im Trubel aber auch nicht zu weit von der Altstadt entfernt. Auch die Größe des Zimmers hat uns gut gefallen (Zimmer Nummer 2).

Leider war das Badezimmer eine komplette Zumutung. Alt, dreckig und wirklich übel riechend. Wir wussten nicht ob der Gestank vom Schimmel oder vom Abfluss kam aber es war wirklich nicht auszuhalten. Das Fenster ließ sich leider auch nicht öffnen. Auch die Laken auf dem Bett waren nicht wirklich sauber. Bei dem extrem hohen Preis sind wir einen anderen Standard gewöhnt.

Dreadful uncomfortable bed. Toilet and sink made churning noise continuously. Electrics have seen better days. Hotel owner extremely rude and screamed at me like a mad woman as her porter said I could check out late. She literally threw met out of the hotel. Not a safe venue for sole female disabled travellers. Avoid!!!

Perfekter Aufenthalt für eine Übernachtung nach einem Match im Tyncastle Park. Das Pub im Erdgeschoss des Hotels hatte nach dem Match noch bis 23:00 geöffnet und wir konnten noch gemeinsam mit Einheimischen ein Bier trinken.

Möglichkeit für Personen mit leichten Mobilitätseinschränkungen.

Badezimmer im 1. Stock war zu klein und sehr improvisiert. Etwas zu teuer für eine Nacht ohne Parkplatz und Frühstück.

Easy check in arrived early and asked to leave our bags, the room was ready so we could check in early which was a bonus . The room was clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bottles of water were very welcomed after a hot train journey. We stayed during to visiting the tattoo and having close and frequent buses was a bonus.

We had issues with the key lock but a helpful member of staff told us to just wiggle it maybe needing some WD40 in the lock. But apart from that nothing was an issue .

Location is quite good.

There was absolutely no possible variance from the no-refund policy on cancellations. We paid for two nights and spent five hours in the room. Do not book this property if there is any possibility of cancellation.

The price was high due to the Festival being on. However, the facilities did not match up to the price. The room was passable, with a broken headboard on one bed and no hot water. I would not have booked for more than 1 night.

The room was clean and tidy, had everything we needed and some nice touches like biscuits and sweets. We booked last minute after other plans fell through so was really pleased to get a decent room for a good price in a relatively central location.

Parking was difficult and we ended up having to leave early because we needed to move the car. Also, there was no clear checkout policy when leaving before staff were available. I ended up leaving the key on a shelf on the way out hoping someone would find it. A Dropbox or clearly labelled place to leave the key would have been good.

A lovely warm welcome and chat on arrival after a busy day. Clear instruction on opening/access times and rules on safety. The room was perfect , a great nights sleep and had no issues with the shared shower room. Very clean and the room had lovely hot running water, tea/coffee and tv/wi-fi. Perfect for my hectic schedule and a few pints from the bar was a perfect night cap. Will be using again definately when I have meetings in central location.

The room was clean and check in was easy. The pub downstairs was lovely - thanks John for being so welcoming and for a memorable evening!

The bathroom was very small and we struggled with the flushing the toilet, but it’s expected with an older building.

The room is very old and never renovated, taps were falling off the sink at the toilet, tiles cracked and not fixed, etc. For basic stay is ok but nothing more. Beds mattress not comfortable.

The host was very nice and helpful. The little bar in the lobby area was really nice and cozy. The room was basic and served our needs for the one night.

The room could use some upgrades and improvements. The toilet seat would not stay up and it didn't flush properly.

The location was near where I needed to be. Hotel room was clean and a very spacious bathroom and was very convenient.

The only down side is that there is no breakfast.

Il fascino di questo piccolo hotel consiste nella sua originale patina data dal tempo , così mal ridotto però onestamente è stato un po’ troppo ….peccato

Good location, easy check in and check out, fairly modern facilities.

Fairly thin walls so could hear any movement or sound from the corridor, but not a huge issue.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and great for a short trip. There is a bar attached with an outdoor seating area and that was a cool feature.

There is no AC in the room, but a windows that can be opened. Edinburgh isnt usually very hot and there is a cool breeze so this worked out well.

Lovely comfortable and clean room, very friendly and welcoming staff, I've been before and I will be back, great value for money, close enough to the city centre to walk when the weather is nice but also close to bus routes for when the weather is bad.

The location was a good distance away from the main city and attractions. But, that's to be expected, I suppose, for the good price.

Lovely staff

Everything was great

The location was really good, close to bus stops and a short walk into the city centre.

The room was pretty dirty. The bathroom was a joke and just overall a bit grotty. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms and the bar downstairs. I feel like the listing is misleading compared to the reality of the rooms. Expensive for what it was.

Hotel is in a good location with frequent bus services in and out of town. Bus stop is 2 minutes' walk from hotel. Bar open to 11. Hotel is quiet and pleasant. Staff are great.

There's not much parking. No food on site so don't expect a breakfast or dinner, but there are places to grab something nearby. Clean but could do with a little updating.

Zimmer Nr.4 - Nasszelle - keinerlei Wohlfühlfaktor - die Nasszelle (Badezimmer) extrem klein man konnte nicht mal vor dem Waschbecken stehen nur seitlich über die Wasserhähne, hinter dem WC waren alle Leitungen sichtbar und so eng das man links/rechts an der Wand bzw. Duschkabine ankam - wir hatten nur kalt/lauwarmes Wasser. Noch dazu gab es ein Absaugpumpe die alle 10 Sek. ein lautes Geräusch machte sobald Wasser lief, Wir sind nach einer Nacht obwohl 4 gebucht in ein anderes Hotel gezogen - leider wir wurden noch nie so Enttäuscht das nennt sich "HOTEL"
