The Inn at the Ninth Hole Bed & Breakfast

The main caretaker of the Inn was wonderful. He greeted us and showed us how to enter our room. Joe does a nice job cleaning and takes very good care of the Inn. The breakfast was a nice touch; it was simple, but it did the job. The outdoor space is nice and quaint. The bathroom was nicely updated.

The INN is very expensive for what you get. I think I paid $655 for two nights for the beach room. I booked last minute, and most of Salmon Arm was full, so my options were limited. The carpet runs from the hallway straight into the rooms; there is nowhere in the front entrance of the room to leave dirty shoes. The whole carpet thing is very dated and should be removed for health reasons. The wicker table set in the room is a bit old and worn. The beds were soft, with a nice duvet. Honestly, the rooms need a few updates to justify such a high price. I wouldn't pay that again.

Beds were very soft. No cooked breakfast for the high price. We only stayed one night out of two booked due to wildfire smoke. Was not offered any partial refund or credit. Stay here if you have run out of other options.

The Inn was the perfect place for me to rest after a long trek. Spacious, clean, quiet rooms and it felt delightfully private even knowing others were there. The whole area surrounding was green, quiet, and made it serene. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at Inn at the 9th and absolutely loved it! The room was beautiful, large, and cozy—perfect for relaxing. Joe was an amazing innkeeper, so welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend this charming spot!

It is a lovely hotel nestled in the forest adjacent to Salmon Arm Golf Course. It is a peaceful, pastoral setting. We were in the "Beach" suite; a very large room with two Queen beds and all the amenities you would expect. Spotlessly clean. Glass doors opened to a lovely garden view and private patio. Very close to both Salmon Arm and Shuswap National golf courses. A short drive to all the restaurants and shopping in Salmon Arm. Our host, Joe, was warm, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Nothing negative. It's a continental breakfast with lots to eat but don't expect a hot meal. Not a complaint, just information.

It was a great and clean property. Joe was an awesome host who gave us many ideas to do.

Breakfast is basic but fine and Joe is a very kind and pleasant host. We enjoyed the two big beds and the spacious facilities. Everything is super clean and well organized. A pleasure to see how much attention is given to running the place.

Beds were okay, but a little bit hard (you feel the springs). Simple solution would be a 3-5 inch topper with NASA foam.

We had a 6 night stay--everything was perfect and Joe the manager is exceptional, very hospitable, interesting , gave us recommendations on various "sights", restaurants and made us feel very comfortable ! A Plus all around!

The stay at the Inn really was relaxing and Joe was a fabulous host! The room was stunning with space and comfort in mind - huge, comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower, recliner chairs. Would love to come back in winter to make the most of the fire place. Complimentary breakfast had all we could need and we could take fruit and muffins with us for our day ahead. We really enjoyed our stay and it was lovely to be tucked away in the woods.

I cannot think of anything to improve however you do need transport if you are staying here as it is out of town.

We loved everything about the property. The Lake suite was large and comfortable. We particularly loved having two wingback chairs by the fireplace where we could sit, enjoy a glass of wine and talk about our day's adventures in the Salmon Arm area. The host, Joe, was extraordinary!

We golfed Salmon Arm and the Inn was on the course. Really nice staff, clean and quiet.

The facility was everything we hoped for, very comfortable, extra couches, cooking facilities and bathroom amenities. The only issue was with getting the hot water in the shower.

Amazing location and property. Our room was well decorated and very clean with many amenities. The Inn keeper, Joe, was very kind and helpful. Would love to plan another visit and include the golf package as well. If you are looking for a place to "treat" yourself, this is the place!!

The room and facility on the golf course are beautiful, and Joe was a perfect host. Will definitely stay there again should we pass that way.

Breakfast is not seved until 9 am and we needed to be on the road earlier so had to skip it.

Joe was out host. He was very friendly and highlited sights and spots to visit. He went out of his way to prepare a breakfast that suited us! He promoted discount rates at surrounding golf facilities that could be used in the furture. Tthe room was bright and open to an outside patio.

Temperature of room was a little chilly.

Smoke alarm went off a few times.

How was absolutely amazing. I had to rearrange some dates with the Jasper disaster. Was messaging Jo directly but ended up having to get into booking.com. The process was quite slow, so Joe took the initiative and contacted them directly for me. Sorted it all out and jet me know. Also offered ( for no charge) a cooked breakfast -it was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. I love having a kettle in my room -done. Needed an iron - the same. Gorgeous spacious accomodation. I can’t thank Joe enough - he really is a National Treasure

Beautiful property, incredibly spacious room (Vineyard), welcoming host, expansive breakfast, and immaculate. The bed was a touch firm so a pillow top mattress cover wouldn’t go astray but otherwise hard to find anything wrong here. Definitely recommend!

Breakfast timeframe was limited to one hour9-10 which was quite late for people that need to travel or get to events.

The room was excellent, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. Everything was well maintained and clean. Brad was friendly and very helpful in organizing our golf.

The only negatives were the breakfasts. They had no warming dishes, so if you weren't there when the food came out of the oven it cooled quickly.

A very charming place. The room was very large with 2 recliners! And a mini kitchen. The staff were very warm and friendly and the breakfasts were amazing. We golfed close by and it was a great location.

This is the most magical place I've ever stayed in. The rooms were beautiful and immaculate, as was the rest of the house. Best breakfast ever. And the hosts, Brad and Amanda, just the nicest people you might be lucky enough to meet. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They are the heart and soul of this place.

the inn is in the country but just 5 minutes from town. the golf course is 2 minutes away if you’re planning to golf our room was very nice , great bed ,awesome hot shower … coffee in the room. breakfasts were so good and lots of choice. thanks so much

Good breakfast and made the room a better value. When you calculate in what you would pay for breakfast for two each day, that made the room fee more palatable.

There wasn't anything I did not like. It was perfect and I am so glad we chose the Inn at the Ninth Hole.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Inn. We loved every minute of our stay. Brad and Amanda made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was wonderful. A lot of thought has been put into the facilities to make it welcoming. Everything you need is there. Beautifully decorated and lovely gardens. Close to town yet enjoyed quiet countryside.

Fabulous place! Our room was lovely - extremely spacious and comfortable. The location was ideal - quiet but close to amenities. We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to return again!

This stay was amazing. Emily the owner was wonderful and she makes the most delicious cinnamon buns.

The service was kind and fantastic. I love the house, and the location is convenient and beautiful. The Inn is only a couple of minutes south of town, and makes for quick access to all amenities. The hosts are kind and helpful, and communicate clearly and quickly. The Inn at 9th is by far the best service I have had in years and years. I will be back.

The owners take great pride in everything. Very clean, breakfast was amazing and the owner called us on our drive to see what time and make sure we would make it on time. Nothing but great things to say!

Our stay at the Inn was wonderful. Jeff and Emily were the perfect hosts serving up tasty breakfasts and offering advice for all things local including walking trails, farmers markets and tips for what to buy. We will definitely be recommending the Inn to our friends and family.

Hosts Emily and Geoff were so welcoming and breakfasts were lovely . Property in a quiet little haven !

This property has new owners. They have done recent renovations, and they have been done very well. New plush carpet, fresh paint, and good furniture. Rooms are a generous size. Ours was around 800 sqft. Breakfast was very filling, and we did not need to eat again until mid afternoon. Host was attentive to our needs, and pleasant in every conversation. The location is very private, at the end of a gravel road not far off the highway.

Our stay at the Inn on the Ninth Hole was exceptional. Despite the restrictions during covid we had a wonderful stay. The food is delicious, fresh, local and high end. Emily provided service above and beyond and was very responsive when we made any request. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.
