Coastal Inn Antigonish

We stayed for one night in August and were very pleased with our experience. The location was great, the room was well-equipped and very clean. Having breakfast included was a lovely bonus.

Erg schone kamer in een groene omgeving. Eeg goed ontbijt.

Kamer is klein.

Check-in was seamless and efficient, with everything perfectly set up before we arrived. The staff are definitely the friendliest and most helpful we've encountered on our Cape Breton trip. An absolute 10/10 experience!

Surprisingly awesome

Clean and easy access to and from the highway

Lit confortable

Le déjeuner à nos chambre

Handy location, close to highway. Large comfortable room.

Basic breakfast as pre-ordered then you pick up in the morning to eat in your room. Was good enough, but would prefer to eat in a dining room withbhot food choices.

It was very noisy. You could hear the screen door banging and peoples shower next to us. We were woken up at 5am but noise from other people

Friendliness of staff and cleanliness of the room. We also love that we can walk to Mother Webb's for a great steak.

I understand you are on the #4 highway and it is much better for noise then before the 104 bypassed but it is still a little noisy. Especially the idiot racing around with j\his motorcycle late at night. I also know it is not something you can control....

Oui

Bruyant

The room was clean and well appointed

Well maintained, super clean and comfortable.

Noting

Your second room was quite good!

Your first room smelled so bad we would not have been able to sleep in it. I have never had a room that smelt that bad. I went back to the clerk and we asked to change to one that didn't smell. He said that he had just been in the room, and nothing bothered him. Hmm.... I was asked if I wanted to pay more for a clean smelling room, I said no. I just wanted a room that did not smell. Eventually he gave me a clean smelling room for no extra charge. We were disappointed!!

Location was good as it had a good restaurant across the road and convenient store just down the street.

Breakfast was very basic and. It what we wanted

Awesome breakfast selection included, very cool to be senta menu to pick from.

It's a little far from the main part of town. But great for stopping from the highway.

Clean room, excellent breakfast.

Excellent location across from Mother webbs. Very clean rooms with everything you need. Breakfast was very good. Easy check in. Great value!

room had 3 beds was the main thing. Breakfast was included and we could pick a time to pick it up. Good location, as there was a good restaurant across the street.

Nothing I can think of right now.

Location, service, clean, breakfast, and across from Mother Webbs Steak house.

Nothing

Decent location for travelling through Antigonish.

A little old and tired.

The property was clean and well located near the highway

An excellent hotel. The family rooms are a dream come true—especially for a family like ours (two adults and three children; it’s the kind of thing we usually only dream of). Access is incredibly easy: they simply send you the room number and a door PIN code, and check-out is just as quick. Breakfast is served in the room. They also pay attention to the little details—things you might not notice at first, but which create a truly cozy atmosphere.

It will be hard to find similar family rooms for our family on future trips now.

The family room was nice with divider between beds . Ample breakfast provided, and we enjoyed the extra condiments in fridge Quiet property

No complaints

Room clean and as expected. Great restaurant across the street

The room was great. The two levels gave us some privacy.

Location

No faults

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst!

Niets

Ruime comfortabele schone kamer, leuk "twee verdiepingen". Heel grote tv, fijn! Echt top! Lekker grill restaurant gelijk aan de overkant. Heerlijk gegeten.

Niks

Staff were lovely, breakfast was very good, lots of choice. Only thing to note was that cheaper rooms didn't have a bathtub, only the family room had a tub.

Room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was ok.

The outside had me questioning the cleanliness inside. Inside was better.

Very nice and helpful staff he room was large, and there was a great selection at breakfast.

Quiet,clean and well located.

Nothing

The room was very clean. The hotel accommodated getting our breakfast earlier than we initially stated. The location for travelling was convenient and about 15 minute drive into Antigonish. The beds were comfortable.

The room was a little small -- this is an older hotel/motel and current expectations of including a mini fridge, table etc. are not easy to accommodate.

Large room, very clean , comfortable beds, very helpful staff.

Looks like an older motel from the outside, but the room was large, and very nice.

the mattress was better than perfect!!!

Convenient great price

There were spiders on ceiling

Location for my needs, cleanliness, housekeeping

Easy to find; liked the split up and down bed arrangement.

Everything was good and clean.

I loved the clean, cozy and inviting facility. The breakfast was also very delicious! I could tell that the owners take pride and do their utmost to ensure a pleasant experience! I would highly recommend this place to others and not hesitate returning!

Room was nice and clean. Staff is great

App fill outs. Was awesome 👌 everything was awesome service and all.

Really nice place and very organized. Price is right too

The bed was very comfortable and soft And it was in a good location

Nothing everything was good

Rien

The breakfast was amazing. I loved that there was a barbecue available to help cut costs on eating out. Room was a great size and easy access.

Nothing

Loved the ease of check in, check out and breakfast orders. Staff were excellent!!!!

bed is comfy. Inn is not terribly priced and convienient.

Previous guest smoked up in the room. I do not partake, and really really hate the smell that was left behind. Did not air out well and seemed to be exacerbated by the heat pump being turned on. The owners gave me 10$ for coffee...which is better than not acknowledging the issue. They cleaned again before night two, which improved the experience, but the smoke smell remained...

Very attentive owners. Clean and well stocked with coffee, spreads, etc.

We have never had breakfast ordered on line and picked up at front desk and eaten in our room but it worked out very well. Quite liked how it worked out.

Clean and convenient. Friday staff.

Can hear loud music from outside

Location

Shower was slippery. Need a hand rail as I fell and bruised my side

Convenient location, very clean and tidy and spacious. They also have free breakfast and allow you to stay up to noon for free.

What a lovely sweet place... I love the idea of entering with a code...ordering your breakfast and picking it up...very convenient when you rise early and make your own breakfast at your pace. Great meal across the street and gas station right across the street as well... The staff was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable and clean room. Very organized and all condiments you need for your breakfast. I'm not sure I'll get back to the area but wish there were more places like this one.

Excellence, they thought of everything...

It was roomier than expected. Comfortable beds!

Excellent _ they think of everything

NA

It was interesting everything is on line, from check in to ordering breakfast

The staff was Kind:) The Room Was clean and tidy and calm and had all equipment you need. The breakfast was actually suprisingly good for a motel! Good location by the road. Great stay for One night.

Maybe some funriture - doors / windows are bit old and need some love. Otherwise nice

Room clean and breakfast provided.

Breakfast, staff, comfy bed, clean, price was good

Very clean and a good place to spend a night.

Very clean and comfortable Staff was amazing

Quiet and comfortable...breakfast was good...check in was easy as it was all done online

Nice place to transit, very good staffs and breakfast

Excellent location and very clean and very quiet. Bed was extremely comfortable!

We loved everything about the place. The owners obviously have worked hard to make the best with the property. On first arriving some might be put off by the outside appearance but once inside they would have to change their opinions.

The breakfast was great!

Convenient close to highway

Older and noisy in the morning

Good parking in front of room. Clean, nice seating area outside of room. Amazing amenities for the cost. Hostess was gracious and nice breakfast in room. Super comfortable and so many extra touches in room to make you feel at home. Best stay of the trip (7 different spots). Would return for longer.

NA

Conveniently located. Clean and well appointed for our 1 night stay.

Big room, free WiFi, good selection of breakfast menus, easy to book late check out, very good shower.

When I booked it said pay at property, however they tried to charge us before arriving, they got in contact to say the payment card wasn’t working and to update it, I then mentioned that when booking it said to pay at property and that is what we would do when we arrived and they said this was fine.

All went well. Room was clean and breakfast was good

Clean, efficient breakfast

Frühstück inbegriffen, sehr freundliches Personal/Management.

The staff is amazing. They are very friendly and accommodating. The room I was in was perfect. It was clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast is a great bonus! They even had gluten free bread that I could eat. :) I also liked that I received a text earlier in the day asking about breakfast and any other items that I may need. I will definitely be staying there again. Thank you. :)

Love the location, quiet!!! Breakfast is fine and varied...

When the room was cleaned, she forgot to close the main door...Anyone could have gone in to steal our stuff!!! 😡

Nice comfortable bed

I didn’t like the room out back plus there was a dog there and you could here the barking

Location and local restaurants are a good combination, I would stay here again. Bed was comfortable although the hotel was busy it was quiet

The room was dated but had everything I needed for my short stay. There was a problem with recent water work, and the hotel refunded a portion of my room rental back to me, which I did not request but appreciated the concert for my comfort and enjoyable experience.

Nice seating area outside the room to enjoy the sunshine

The bed was comfortable

To much like self service

Room was cozy. Shower is super small. White curtains in bathroom window were unnerving to me. Older units, but right for the price.

Walls are pretty thin. Could hear a lot going on next to me.

Fantastic place & staff. Very well organized. Good steak restaurant across the street

The place is several km outside of Antigonish downtown. Not a problem, as we had a car. This is only a downside for those wanting to be downtown
