Staff were friendly.

Rooms were small and need updating desperately. Entertainment was very poor. No bath plug or teaspoon in the room. Pillows were paper thin, and so were the duvets. Heating would turn off during the night , unable to change this due to it being broken. The food was okay but not the best. The swimming pool was closed and looks to be that way for a while. Arcade had only slot machines .

The room was unfit for human habitation. The walls were wet & damp, there was mould in the shower, the room was dirty with thick ingrained grime and mould. The room had not been cleaned and you needed a hazmat suit to enter it! The food was very poor, it was processed frozen food that was badly cooked and presented. The resturant was dirty, the cups, dishes and cutlery were dirty and smeared with food debris. The food serving trays were old and not clean, we did not dare to eat any of the food there and went out to eat. The communal areas were dirty, the carpets had not been cleaned in years, the tables were dirty and sticky. It was the type of place where you wipe your feet on the way out!

Cheap, cheerful and a lot of fun. Room was basic but clean, outside areas were tidy and pleasant. Didn't use the pool but it looked clean. Food was perfectly edible, puddings were delicious, entertainment was fun and there was always something to do. Steps from the beach and the bus into Weston-super-Mare. We met some great people and would probably return.

Check in times, my room was ready from around 10 am but still had to wait until 2pm

I enjoyed breakfast each morning, and there was always a wide variety of options available.Same for the evening meal.

The accommodations, while comfortable, appeared somewhat dated and worn. The television was rather small and lacked smart features.

Entertainment was very good and the staff were very committed to making sure everyone enjoyed their stay. Chalets are clean and adequate justlooking a bit tired in places. Overall no complaints.Swimming pool was excellent

A slow leak in the bathroom was annoying, the maintenance persons solution was to chuck a towel down!

Food was not as good as expected, rooms very basic with plenty of spiders to share with, only had a bath,should provide fans in hot months,bed was very hard with spring mattress which kept pinging, room needs to be cleaned more regular inside and out.

Wanted a shower but had a bath why hasn't all rooms got showers? Too tall for baths getting in and out

The entertainment was first class both bluecats and external bands.

The management of the restaurant .... the food was good especially breakfast but managers decided to close food station in the middle of service causing unnecessary queues and seemed to want to start packing up begore the end of service. Felt a bit rushed despite 15 minutes to go.

The fact that room had a bath only no shower. Did ask at desk about shower was told no yr room have got bath only did say we both found bath difficult but no help in offering a different room with shower. wasn't impressive it's given us a change of holidays to look for next year unfortunately we want come back to sand bay holiday village As for review on cleanness if the room carpet wasn't hoovered properly.also the curtain was full of dust as you pull them across wasn't impressed on that as I have breathing problems.

There was no shower in the property and also the tv was very small.

We stayed in one of the cheaper accomadations which has always been sort of cheap and cheerful now its become cheap and cheerless they are in need of a spruce up the is probably still good value but is not as good as it has been

It has refurbished most of the chalets to a good standard.

The river under the little bridges is stagnant and smells, there is rubbish also dumped in it. The ducks have all gone. The entertainment room and restaurant are in desperate need of air con. The heat was unbearable.

The location, food, facilities all good

The chalets were very worn, dirty snd smelt very musty. Some of the beds were rock hard and as soon as turned on hot tap it was scalding. Luckily it was o my the one night. The chalets we we then in booked through the sandbar site were clean, immaculate ( been upgraded since last year) no complaints

Site was clean and tidy lovely beach 2min 2alk away...difficult to access with limited mobility. Restaurant staff were working extremely hard, there was a large amount of people and limited staff to ensure the milk and other food stations were filled up. Bedroom was clean.

We could only get hot water from the cold taps.....we hadvto waste a large amount of water get a cold drink. We had no tea bags in out welcome bag.....andcwhen we realised reception was closed.....we did have of our own. There was only one hard pillow each

Rooms are very basic but all that is need for a short stay. The food was what you would expect from a venue when you are at a music weekend with a good variation and (Cheap and Cheerful). Have already booked again for November

We had a club room that had been recently refurbished, very clean and comfortable. The staff were all helpful and friendly a shout out to Jackie on reception who was first point of contact and made us feel welcome and a mention of a young lad in the dinning room I think his name was Leo even though he was super busy he greeted everyone with a smile

Only a minor thing but no towel rail in the bathroom so had to put towels over the chair in the room when not in use.

We have stayed many times at sandbay and really enjoy it every time we visit. Romm is always clean and tidy but would be even better if we had got a shower instead of a bath, Breakfast is excellent plenty of choice. evening meal is also good with plenty of choice.

All meals were very good and being over the road from the coast excellent the site was looking well cared for and all staff ready to help ..the bath!

Fitted sheet on the bed so they don't move in the night! A small mini fridge in all rooms without kitchen just to keep milk in particularly in warm weather

The next door 176 took our bench from under our window so we took it back and they kept sitting under our window so i asked them kindley if we could sit on our bench but gave us a lot of abuse and said it was there bench but it was under our window and kept shouting in our face was really horrible people we had no privacy he was so abusive. We love staying there wen we got good neighbours. Mrs Eileen smith and Mr geoff smith.

We booked a twin room & got a double , when saw the receptionist she sorted with attitude, also the shower had black hairs in the shower & floor was not swept clean .

Clearly it’s aimed at a certain audience so I imagine if that’s your hope for your trip then you’ll have a great time.

NO SHOWER. We couldn’t believe it. I understand there could be a slip hazard but to charge £20 for an attachable shower is criminal.

It was very nostalgic - right back to the 70s or earlier. Unpretentious and down to earth. It was nice to be one of the younger crowd for a change. Peroni on draft!

Tired is an understatement. The rooms haven't been refurbished since - well, ever I think. The decor and facilities in the cell/room reminded me of my rather austere childhood. The rooms smelled damp, and the mattresses comprised maybe 12 massive springs. All that said - it was fine for a crash-pad. £10 for a double rum and coke a bit steep though.

Everything even the wet areas and pool are a real bonus .

Loved the room but had to move to a smaller one due to an outbreak of ants under and across the carpet and unfortunately a neighbour where we moved to kept us up for three nights of our stay to 2:30 am with music and or loud profanity and after complaining to security didn't want to upset them 😞 . This and after talking with others kept up at night in the block being the first negative experience of selfish individuals doing as they please at the misery of those around or next to them .

I can't say too much about breakfast as I am a vegetarian so I only have cereal or toast. The entertainment is brilliant and the staff are friendly and work hard. The swimming bath is marvelous and steam room etc when working

The staff are so friendly bar one blond lady who works in the bar , a smile costs nothing. Everyone else very friendly. The Ska and Reggie weekend was excellent, Bob Marley tribute and Badness were great. Food was fine .

Our room ! 1st the plus side . Bed linen and towels very white and clean. Bath , sink toilet clean BUT the paper is hanging off the walls, black mould growing above the wardrobe. The walls have all manor of stains on ALL the walls . Bathroom tile old outdated and are need of a scrub, carpets stained and dirty , stained net curtain, dirt around the doors and around handles, months old cobwebs in the corners of all rooms. A charger and book found in drawers and wardrobe. This is a management issue, allow your staff more time !

Stayed here many times room's always very good. This time even though site was quiet they put us in one of the furthest away from facilities rooms available. Room size very small and crowded couldn't fully open toilet door but worst of all no window or fan whatsoever in room. Very dark and warm with no chance of opening a,window for fresh air. Usually get a comment about 'Oh" you booked through Booking.com. This time we felt penalised for doing so. Have used you many times but never felt this. Love Sand bay normally but are seriously considering ever going again especially with Booking. com sorry but feel very strongly about this.
