Tired and very small room in need of update, shower with curtain was cramped and toilet area had a massive sink unit which took all the space up so you had to shuffle to get to the toilet.

Hotel très vieux qui tombe en ruine à suivre photos et salle. Sans parler du personnel antipathique. 1 serviette pour 2 personnes ménage oublié. Equipement rouillé rideau de douche en guise de porte et j en passe. Bref je ne le recommande pas du tout. A moins que vous ne trouvez pas un autre endroit de libre . Ce qu il nous est arrivé..... cela devrait être interdit à un hotel de continuer à louer dans un état pareil. C est scandaleux .

La douche dans un état pitoyable. Des travaux seraient à prévoir d'urgence. Du bruit dans la chambre, gros problème d'insonorisation. A ce prix, c'est un peu fort de café.

Reviewed Sep 8, 2026L'emplacement était parfait, rue piétonne, proche de la plage ( que l'on voyait depuis le petit balcon). Le ventilateur a été très apprécié ainsi que la grande douche.
L'ascenseur est très vieux. Les WC sentaient les égouts. Beaucoup de moustiques et pas de moustiquaires. Pas de bouilloire.

Be aware there is no air conditioning or fan. The bathroom had mold in it. The interior needs updating.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Tuvimos una experiencia con dos aspectos muy distintos. El hotel nos ofreció una habitación estupenda, con un gran balcón y preciosas vistas, incluso al mar, aunque no estaba incluido en nuestra reserva.
Por otro lado, no nos facilitaron ni nos avisaron del código necesario para entrar después de medianoche. Descubrirlo a las cuatro de la madrugada, ante la puerta cerrada, fue una sorpresa bastante desagradable.

Un rapport qualité prix extrêmement mauvais . J’accepte des infrastructures simples mais avec le prix qui correspond au standing ! Pomme de douche complètement out, bombe à moustiques en décoration🤔. Nous devions avoir une vue sur la ville ce qui était loin d’être le cas ; la responsable nous a proposé tout de suite un surclassement pour la 2 Ème nuit. Mieux certes , mais plafond de la salle de bain taché d’humidité .

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue realmente mala y consideramos que la habitación no cumplía con lo que se anunciaba en la reserva. En la descripción de la habitación se indicaba que disponía de vistas a la ciudad, pero en realidad las vistas eran a un patio interior, algo completamente diferente a lo anunciado. Además, una de las persianas de la habitación no se podía levantar, por lo que prácticamente no entraba luz ni aire y se acumulaba muchísimo calor. Lo más sorprendente es que no había ventilador disponible para esa cama; únicamente había uno en la otra cama de la habitación, por lo que no solucionaba el problema. La situación empeoró por la presencia de numerosas arañas y mosquitos dentro de la habitación, algo totalmente inaceptable desde nuestro punto de vista. Por si fuera poco, la ducha estaba rota, tal y como se puede comprobar en el vídeo que adjuntamos. Lo comunicamos al hotel, pero no nos ofrecieron ninguna solución, ni reparación, ni cambio de habitación, ni ninguna alternativa. En definitiva, entre las vistas que no correspondían con lo anunciado, la persiana inutilizable, el calor, la falta de ventilación adecuada, los insectos y una ducha rota sin ninguna solución por parte del hotel, nuestra estancia fue muy desagradable. No entendemos cómo se puede anunciar una habitación con determinadas características y después encontrarnos con una situación tan diferente. No recomendamos este hotel y, desde luego, no volveríamos.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Une fois que l'on y est l’hôtel permet de se rendre à la plage à pied qui est à 2 pas! La bagagerie permet de laisser ses valises en sécurité avant 15H à l'arrivée ou après 12H à la sortie et le personnel est serviable.
Il faut ajouter au prix de la chambre celui d'un parking de ville de plus de 25 euros par 24H, cela chiffre vite, de plus le parking du vieux port est plein en permance, il faut se rendre plus loin pour garer. L’ascenseur est vraiment étroit. en plus y aller et en revenir pour charger et

La habitación era muy pequeña, no era posible abrir las ventanas, la mámpara de la ducha vieja y con mucha cal y el picaporte del baño, roto... No funcionaba la luz del techo. No sé de dónde salían, pero había algún mosquito por la noche.

La vétustée, les joints de douche moisie , ne pas pouvoir se garer en bas pour décharger la voiture. Il faut vraiment expliquer que le GPS nous emmène jusqu'à la porte alors que impossible avec la voiture.. Les tables dans la rue, le bruit pour dormir

La stanza aveva la finestra che non si chiudeva, abbiamo informato la reception ma non è stato risolto. Non abbiamo ricevuto gli asciugamani, la stanza era calda e senza aria condizionata.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026The room was basic, small butsuitable for my needs as a cyclist. Bed nice. Room clean. Basic shower. Lift was an old fashioned one and very small but did the job. Receptionist was nice and helpful. My bicycle was stored in a room so was secure. Breakfast was in another hotel a few steps away via the street. Excellent location as in centre of town.
The price seemed a bit high bearing in mind the room size. However Biarritz is a go to town so expect you are paying a premium for the nice location.

No air con just a ceiling fan, can be quite noisy outside but we were so tired at the end of the from the beach it didn’t make a big difference. Parking was stressful, you have to approach the closest underground car park from a certain direction otherwise the roads are blocked.

Welcome to a hotel that redefines the two star standard: reception - hardly existent, with helpful hints like « whack the balcony door closed »; doors that constantly slam as if echoing the reception personnel, occasionally whacking the unsuspecting client; plenty of wafts coming from the toilet; clearly outdated piping; cleaning service quite poor - but understandable if the hotel treats its personnel the same way as it treats clients; the hotel clearly is concerned with protecting the environment through recycling: its storage furniture appears to have been collected from the streets. To top it off: the nearby beach plage du vieux port, that is the main attraction is constantly infested with ostreopsis ovata, a toxic algae, as attested by the dedicated Biarritz municipality website.

Hotellet har svært høy pris for minimal komfort. Vårt ene rom lå ut mot gaten med svært mye bråk, noe som gjorde det umulig å lufte om kvelden/natten. Det andre rommet lå ut mot et gårdsrom fullt av mygg som spiste opp hele familien og gjorde det umulig å lufte også der. i 3-mannsrommet var det bare vifte over dobbeltsengen, dvs ingen luft for siste seng og vi måtte legge madrassen på gulvet. Frokosten er overpriset.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2026Bästa läget, trevlig personal, välstädat. Gillade rum 22, fanns separat toalett och en stor fräsch dusch separat. Fanns balkong att sitta på och utsikt mot havet och gå gatan. Kommer definitivt boka igen och priset var oslagbart. Mycket för pengarna

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Die Lage war super, Restaurants, Bars ect waren direkt vor der Tür und wenn man vom Balkon runterschaute und um die Ecke guckte, war das Meer zu sehen. Das Bett war sehr gut, es gab genug Stauraum. Ein Fahrstuhl erleichtert den Zugang in den 3. Stock!
Es gibt keine Klimaanlage nur einen Deckenventilator der auch nicht funktionierte, der Nachtportier vom Hotel nebenan, daß scheinbar, zusammen gehört, brachte uns dann einen Standventilator der aber sehr staubig war und den ganzen Staub im Zimmer verteilt hatte, auch im Bett. Ein Regalboden war auch kaputt so das unsere Sachen runterfiel. Also, es ist noch Luft nach oben.

Chambre rafistolée à rénover serieusement . Encadrement des fenêtres consolidé par du bois, les étages supérieurs ressemblant à une ruine inhabitable, voire dangereuse.

A bit noisy in the morning, but it was very, very hot and so the windows were wide open. A bit of a walk to access public transport.

Purtroppo non c’era aria condizionata e con le temperature di questi scorsi giorni, le pale al soffitto non erano sufficienti. La stanza e il bagno molto piccoli. Forse potrebbero sfruttare meglio gli spazi della camera, inserendo in uno spazio inutilizzato, un armadio a muro oppure delle staffe per poter riporre e appendere i vestiti

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026La posizione è fantastica, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia più carina di Biarritz e già sulla strada per la passeggiata verso la scogliera C'è cura nei dettagli dell'arredamento Lo spazio è ridotto sulla tromba delle scale ma nonostante questo c'è un ascensore Massima disponibilità della reception, ho potuto lasciare i miei bagagli per la giornata dopo aver fatto il check out
La porta del bagno non si chiudeva del tutto Servirebbe una migliore manutenzione in generale

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026The location is perfect, very near the old port area with beautiful restaurants, shops and the amazing beach. The room was clean and cool thanks to a fan in the ceiling. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, it's petfriendly, so we stayed with our dog for a small extra fee.
The shower was a bit tricky because the water would go everywhere but it worked perfectly and had strong pressure and temperature was easy to regulate, so that was great.

Il wifi funzionava malissimo. Doccia con tenda quindi si è allagato tutto il bagno. Finestra stile prigione. Camera molto piccola (ma essenziale). Si sentivano fortissimo i rumori provenienti dalle altre camere e dalle scale, fino a tarda notte. Prezzo elevatissimo per l'insieme (140€ una notte in camera singola)
