The Social Hub Amsterdam City

We absolutely loved our stay at the Social Hub! The room was large, with a large bathroom & bed. The staff were amazing, so helpful & friendly. Location was great, train station right out the front that takes you straight into the city. Theres a gym with access to free gym classes, and a laundry with access to free loads of washing which we were so grateful for. Lots of renovations happening at the moment so more great things to come im sure! Will definitely be back :)

Localização muito boa! Tem um supermercado em frente que fica aberto até tarde. Próximo ao Rio Amstel, local excelente pra corrida e caminhada.

O climatizador de temperatura do meu quarto não estava funcionando. Passei cinco noites sufocantes no hotel, meu sono não foi confortável. Solicitei auxílio na recepção, mas não enviaram ninguém para consertar. Não me trocaram de quarto, o que foi muito frustrante para uma reserva de cinco noites. Apesar da boa localização, não pretendo voltar, devido a falta de atenção com a minha estadia.

Great selection for breakfast. Super comfortable beds and very clean room. The air con was the only downside, it's not a tradition fan a/c but climate control which makes it difficult to sleep. Easiest way to get to and from your room is the lift by far as it's a bit of maze with all the meeting rooms and office spaces. Check out was very easy and most of the staff are super friendly

The a/c system meant the room was always too warm.

We liked everything! The room is beautiful spacious and full of light . The beds and the pillows are very comfortable . Nespresso coffee machine and pods offered. The structure is big and with a youthful vibe in it. Check in and check out were smooth, the staff helpful . The metro station practically right outside.

They didn’t tell us that the car park was not in use until I wrote 2 letters so we only found out the day before we arrived we were also not informed that the main lobby was being renovated and there was a lot of work inside the photo. There were many students checking in and we had to wait a long time to be able to check in and sort out car parking.

Eşim ve 3 yaşındaki çocuğumuzla birlikte konakladık ve gerçekten çok memnun kaldık. Daha otele giriş yaptığımız andan itibaren çalışanların güler yüzü ve ilgisi bizi çok mutlu etti. İhtiyacımız olan her konuda hemen yardımcı oldular ve kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettirdiler. Odalar temiz, düzenli ve çok konforluydu. Yataklar oldukça rahattı, odamız da her gün özenle temizlendi. Özellikle çocuklu bir aile olarak rahat etmemiz bizim için çok önemliydi ve bu konuda hiçbir eksiklik yaşamadık. Odamızda sunulan küçük ikramlar da bizi ayrıca memnun etti; bu ince düşünce konaklamamıza hoş bir dokunuş kattı. Kahvaltı ise harikaydı. Çeşit çok fazlaydı, ürünler taze ve kaliteliydi. Her sabah keyifle kahvaltımızı yaptık. Bu otelde çalışan herkese teşekkür ederiz. Misafirlerine değer veren, sıcak ve samimi bir ekipleri var. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Tekrar bu şehre gelirsek hiç düşünmeden yine burada konaklarız.

Habitación Desayuno muy completo y de calidad Tenia parada de metro al lado y en 5-8' por 1,80€ estás en la estación central, centro de todo. Staff muy amable. Todos hablan inglés y habia un par castellano.

Quizás ubicación pero era muy cómodo y fácil llegar al centro en metro.

L'emplacement et la literie.

Tout l'hôtel est en travaux. Le genre de travaux qui se prévoit et se planifie des mois à l'avance. Mais aucune mention sur Booking, sur le site de l'hôtel. Pourquoi ? Donc aucune des raisons pour lesquelles nous avions booké cet hôtel n'était là, bruit des travaux en sus. Et évidemment, sans compensation. Quant aux tarifs des boissons, ne vous fiez pas à la carte visible sur le site, ils sont plus élevés (septembre 2026). Pour finir, la chambre n'a pas été nettoyée durant notre séjour (4 nuits). Je ne recommande pas, même une fois les travaux terminés, au regard du désintérêt exprimé par l'établissement. Le personnel a été cependant très bien, malgré la situation. Si vous souhaitez séjourner ici courant automne 2026, peut être téléphoner avant pour vous assurer des services suspendus/rétablis (parking, restaurant, loisirs, espaces de coworking, bruits...) Dommage.

Vale la pena pagar el desayuno por adelantado si no lo incluyes en tu reserva. El lugar es muy agradable con espacios de coworking y para tomarte unas cervezas

Los lugares turísticos no quedan tan cerca. Tienes que tomar el metro. Aunque hay una estación cerca, tienes la restricción de sus horarios de funcionamiento. No se podía modificar el aire acondicionado.

Für unseren dreitätigen Aufenthalt war die Unterkunft phantastisch. Die U-Bahnstation, mit der man drei von vier Linien benutzen kann, ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Viertel hat uns sehr gut gefallen, weil es nicht so touristisch ist. Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Bad schön groß und gut ausgestattet. Auch das Konzept des Hauses (Hotel, Co-Working, Restaurant, Studentenwohnungen) hat uns gut gefallen.

Es gab ein bisschen Baustellenlärm, aber der wird ja wieder vorbeigehen.

Location from the Metro is really convenient traveling between the hotel and the city.

There was a plaster stuck to our bathmat which made us question the cleaning. Didn’t feel as safe getting between the metro and the hotel as we did anywhere else we visited over our stay.

A equipe foi sempre muito gentil e atenciosa. Apesar de não ser super central, a localização é ótima e de fácil acesso ao centro com metrô (que a poucos metros do hotel) ou tram. O quarto era bastante confortável e silencioso. O hotel conta com uma academia simples, mas que quebra um galho, e tem um espaço bem grande de co-working. Eu paguei um preço promocional, então pra mim o custo benefício foi excepcional.

A lanchonete/restaurante poderia ser melhor/ter mais opções.

Such a cool modern, beautiful and convenient hotel. Super clean and fresh smelling rooms, nice amenities and good size of the rooms. Located next to a metro station.

Was an interesting stay. I really enjoyed it. The place is a hotel, student accomodation and shared working and social space so there's a lot going on. My room was comfy and spacious despite it being a single room. A big emphasis on eco friendly living which I loved. Staff were so accomodating. Gave me toothpaste because I forgot it.

The surrounding area is a bit dodgy on a night. I can see why some people felt a bit afraid on a night. I avoided walking past the nearby park because of it. I think it would be a good idea to offer kitchen facilities. I had to rely on eating out each day. A little kitchen would make it perfect. Nothing big but I went to join the free yoga and it just didnt seem to happen. The staff didn't know if it had been cancelled and couldnt find out

4 Metro Stationen vom Bahnhof Amsterdam Zentral entfernt. Metrostation wenige Meter vom Hotel. Tolles Frühstück, sehr nettes, junges Hotelpersonal. Die Hotelbar wurde während des Aufenthalts neu eröffnet, sehr ansprechend.

The space was great, very social, staff were incredible, rooms were big and a nice space to work both downstairs and upstairs. Stayed for business, but would happily stay for any personal trips out of my own pocket.

Unfortunately whilst there, there were 2x 3hr water shutdowns, which were at the best placed times, but still somewhat inconvenient as I was there on business and needed to shower etc ahead of some meets.

Room in renovated section was OK. Airconditioning was not effective - I had to have a fan. My initial room in the unrenovated section was dreadful - like a bunker. I was grateful to have my room exchanged for a nicer room in the renovated section so am very appreciative.

The way the lights were configured but otherwise fine.

Tolle Lage (U-Bahn gleich um die Ecke), sehr nettes Personal. Lobby - wie gewohnt - sehr stylish.

Die Zimmer waren leider sehr trist eingerichtet (Wien ist schöner). Wir haben speziell nach einem Hotel mit Parkmöglichkeit gesucht. Leider war dieser zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes eine Baustelle. Alternativen wurden angeboten. Eine Vorabinformation wäre allerdings toll gewesen.

The hotel was a decent value. Decent location. The staff was wonderful, seemed to care about your well-being, and provided great service. They also had a full-service self-service laundry room with everything you needed to wash clothes, soap, etc. I wish all hotels had this.

I stayed in an older part of the hotel, and while the room was clean, the lobby and hallways were dirty and never cleaned during my three nights there. Some rooms were left open, with dirty laundry stacked on the bed, and were left open to the public for several days. I know things happen, but the restaurant and coffee shop were closed, and I planned to stay in the hotel. So I wouldn't have to travel to find food. This was a big disappointment, and I had to spend on Uber and transportation for meal options.

Der Standort war super. Es ist ein modernes Hotel mit grossen, farbigen und gemusterten Räumen. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Wir haben unsere Autoschlüssel vergessen und das Team hat unds super schnell und unkompliziert geholfen und senden diese zurück an uns.

On the Monday - Tuesday, the food section was closed off, which they had already made us aware, that was the only slight issue

I really enjoyed my stay here! ☺️ The accommodation was comfortable and in a great location for exploring Amsterdam. It was a really good base for my trip — convenient, comfortable and easy to get around from. Overall, I had a lovely weekend and would definitely consider staying here again when I visit Amsterdam next time! 🌷🚲

Posizione benché non centrale comodamente raggiungibile con mezzi pubblici dal centro e da aeroporto. Letto comodo, e bagno ok. Numerosi e diversi spazi comuni, informali, per attesa, riposo, studio/lavoro, possibilità di mangiare qualcosa tutto il giorno. Caffetterie, ristoranti e supermercati in zona.

Arredi molto semplici ed essenziali nella camera Queen executive. pulizia giornaliera della stanza sommaria. Aspetti che hanno inciso sulla valutazione non buona del rapporto qualità/ prezzo.

位置特别好，距离515354地铁步行1-2分钟，距离大型超市步行3-4分钟。从酒店到市中心无论地铁还是tram20分钟内都可以到达，从市中心步行到酒店30内可以到达。

床边的插头一直跳闸，原因不明，但是一天后问题解决。最后一晚空调不能运作，但是天气不热可以开窗解决。

Excellent hotel with a great designer vibe, spacious lobby area where you can relax, work on your computer, have a snack or read a book. Rooms are impeccabile, everything was new, clean, modern and comfortable. Amazing beds. The bathroom was great too, big and with lots of amenities. Huge corridors leading to the rooms which is a nice change from the typical narrow dark ones we’re used to seeing in city hotels. Loved the style too, urban artistic vibe. Helpful staff as well. Perfect!

Lots of construction around the hotel.

The AC wasn’t working and whole night we couldn’t sleep . When we brought it up I was wishing we could be accommodated else where but we just got a sorry guys

Almost everything was absolutely excellent, thank you!

The shower water didn't drain properly and lots of water pooled across the floor, including in front of the toilet, and we had to dry the floor with towels ourselves. This was not a big problem, but a bit of an inconvenience. There was not a problem with the drain, it's just because the tiles on the shower floor are too flat, and the water does not flow towards the drain. The water pressure from the shower was very nice though, and there was always lots of hot water.

Close to metro. Room was clean. Lots of cupboard space. Shampoo conditioner and body wash available.

Booked 2 rooms, thought they would be close together, were 3 floors apart. Check in process was a bit daunting, had to remember room numbers, not showing on keys on in their check in app. Room was quite small but sufficient. Step up to bathroom a little dangerous , fall hazard. All in all not quite what I expected, but was my first visit to Amsterdam so no comparison.

Staff, the most rude people I ever know , in the middle of the night the reception lady tried to returned me the money because I complained many time that the room was so hot because the air system had some issue… instead change me the room or find a better resolving of the situation she complained of the climate change of the world

Very nice place to stay! Very attentive staff and easily accessible location.

The prices were raised for F1 weekend that definitely would not have made it worth the stay if it were any other weekend but for this occasion it was acceptable :)

Struttura sporca nelle aree comuni. Rifiuti lasciati nei corridoi. Anche le camere non molto pulite. Mai dato aspirapolvere in 4 notti in cui ho soggiornato. A/C in camera inesistente. La mia camera era esposta al sole tutto il giorno, quindi nonostante la temperatura esterna gradevole c’era bisogna dell’a/c. Sollecitato in reception non hanno risolto nessuno dei problemi. Non vale i soldi che costa.

Absolute suprise that we had a brilliant breakfast included. Having the Metro a 100 meters away was perfect and cheap.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Social hub Amsterdam city. The entrance of the hotel was visibly lgbtqia+ friendly, which was heartwarming as most hotels in my country don’t show that much support. The hotel was located on the same line as my FlixBus stop, opposite a subway stop and very close to an Albert Heijn store (practical to buy a vegan sandwich before a day trip out of the city). The common area was well decorated and members of the staff were present 24/7, which was very reassuring. They were friendly, approachable, helpful and recommended good places to eat or visit. As a solo traveler, I was very grateful to have these moments of connection. Camilla, in particular, is a host I will definitely remember for she really contributed to my positive experience at the Social hub Amsterdam city. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank her again for her hospitability. The café near the entrance had some good matcha and cookies. I really like that the hotel provided this service because it can save a lot of time when you are visiting Amsterdam and it is a nice way to start the day. My room was on the fourth floor with a nice view. I was able to check in early in the day, which was a game changer. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The furniture was modern and aesthetic. I especially liked the bathroom which looked lovely and had products that smelled really good. The TV could be connected to your smartphone if you wanted to watch Netflix/Prime video etc. A few TV channels were also in English.

An improvement that could be made is to offer custom sandwiches and provide a specific to go cup for the iced matcha latte (the one that is currently used is a small espresso cup).

Non è il nostro genere di struttura ma ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene. Molto più adatto ai ragazzi delle nuove generazioni.

Ottima posizione per metro e tramvia e in quartiere tranquillo; stanza luminosa e con splendida vista, ottima qualità del sonno. Colazione buona e varia, con prodotti di ogni tipo; personale sempre gentile e disponibile.

Tavoli e ripiani un po’ polverosi, inoltre un giorno non c’è stata pulizia della camera durante la mattina e le donne delle pulizie sono venute il pomeriggio quando eravamo già tornati in camera.

We were with in walking distance to the things we wanted to do. The building was beautiful and cleaned.
