A wonderful spot overlooking the sea, with charming and helpful staff, and good food. The highlight was the Onsen, not just the in-room tubs, but also the amazing public onsen which has an open air bath and uses a mixture of thermal and sea water. Wish I could have stayed longer!

ארוחת בוקר מצוינת עם מגוון אפשרויות יפניות ומערביות. בכלל המסעדות במלון יוצאות מהכלל. האונסן הפרטי בחדר נהדר. צוות מעולה וידידותי. המלון ישן יחסית אך מתוחזק היטב ומעוצב בסגנון יפני מסורתי. חדרים ענקיים, יותר סוויטה מחדר. נוף לים. החדר ממש מעל הים ואפשר להתרחץ באונסן מול הים.

今回は部屋風呂の調子が悪く、朝から修理をお願いしました。 すぐに直してもらえてよかったです。

I love the room and onsen plus the food at the restaurant. Rooms are spacious with private onsen which are perfect for family travel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the lady who greets and brief us during our check-in time speaks very well English and I really appreciate so much. Hotel is quiet with great privacy that can provide enough relaxation to us.

I hope the room can be brighter especially during evening time, it does not have enough light for me to do any writing. While for the buffet breakfast, hope slighty more choices and extending to 11am would be nice.

The location was amazing right on the water The room was huge but also the private outdoor onsen on the balcony just made it perfect.

The room with private onsen and all its amenities was just wow. Super comfy, very relaxing view of the ocean in front, zen atmosphere. Dinner at the French restaurant and the breakfast buffet were also of high standing. Staffs at the restaurants were very customer oriented and respectful. The person who brought us to our room for check in was exceptionally helpful and define what superb service is all about.

My request for early check in could not be entertained. Whilst I do understand, it is more the way the request is handled that matters. Just having a decline through booking.com when paying such a high rate for the room was not too appreciated.

A little far from anything other than what is on the property. Wish there was a shop that sold more beverages and snacks to enjoy while there.

Amazing view for the sea, with a on-sen tub in the balcony of the room. Also there is a communal on-sen on the premises, with nice view and pool.

During checkin, staff were a little clumsy, having problems to speak English, using online translation to do it so. Funny enough, the doorman was a good communicator, perhaps he might be promoted to deal with guests instead. Also, luggage handling was quite messy, as apparently the same person dealing with the checkin was responsible to help you up to your room with the luggages.

Location just right beside seaside. If with car, many free car park lots onsite. Room is sea view, big size and clean. Staff speaks English, personalised check-in, and very friendly. In-room onsen in new building is spacious for two persons. Kudos to reservation Mr. Satomi who had been communicating with me on my two bookings way before arrival, thank you the excellent and prompt service. Breakfast is excellent!

The included 8-course Kaiseki dinner was great. We got to taste things we'd normally never try. The private onsen was fantastic and relaxing, especially shortly before our ferry transfer to Osaka/

Very well taken care of hotel. Don’t bother spending extra for a room with a view of volcano since it is just so far away. The hotel is at the top of a hill with no restaurants you can walk to and hotel restaurants all close by 9 and only place to serve food is at the hotel bar which serves French food but wonder why in Japan. We stayed at Sun Royal 3x cheaper with a much close up view of volcano. But this hotel is much newer.

The location was very isolated. If you brought a car, the self parking was very far away and don’t know if there was even a valet.

Private onsen in the room is superb. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent - great quality and reasonably priced.

The room and onsen were excellent. Room was spacious, onsen felt really nice as well. The food for both breakfast and dinner was amazing too. We all loved the food served and the hospitality served to us. We had the Sakura season menu and it was a first-time for everyone, and there were no dislikes at all, everyone loved it.

Travelling there was not too bad, but it would be nice if there was a chartered bus from Beppu main station to the hotel as walking from BeppuDaigaku station with the luggage can be rough due to uneven roads.

We loved every aspect of the hotel. It was nice to check in early and enjoy the scenery while relaxing in the onsen. The bed was comfortable and the selection for breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and efficient. Valet parking was a bonus.

We have no complaints.

Le personnel est extremement gentil, tout le monde est au petit soin pour les clients. La chambre avec bain privé et vue sur mer est simplement splendide. Tout est magnifiquement pensé dans cet espace hyper confortable !

Nous ne savions pas qu'il fallait reserver le restaurant sur place dès l'apres midi, donc le premier soir nous n'avons pas pu manger sur place et il n'y a vraiment pas grand chose autour. Il faut venir en voiture ou commander un taxi pour chaque déplacement car il y a très peu de choses à faire proches de l'hotel.

The stunning location on the coast with views out to sea. I loved the individual outdoor hot tubs in my accommodation. The food was outstanding and service was as well.

석식과 조식을 모두 먹었는데 정말 괜찮았습니다. 특히 일본식 조식 뷔페도 구성도 정말 좋고 맛있었어요. 바다 바로 앞이라 온천 할 때 운치도 있고 좋았어요. 호텔 바로 앞이 버스정류장이라 이동도 편했습니다.

객실 내 노천탕 온도를 맞추기가 좀 어려웠습니다. 처음엔 너무 뜨거웠어요....그리고 뜨거운 물이 계속 나오고 있음에도 불구하고 밤 사이에는 물이 좀 많이 식었더라구요.

Hotel exceptionnel. Rien à dire le service est parfait ! Onsen à débordement avec vue sur la mer magnifique, onsen privé dans la chambre, petit copieux… Tout est exceptionnel !

Les coussins pour dormir sont un peu durs pour la tête.

Loved the amenities within both the room which we chose a private bath room. The view was exceptional and rest of the the resort was immaculate. Breakfast had alot of variety. I will come back, as the weather was not the greatest

When the restaurant got a bit busy, a bit disappointing that I had to ask a number of times for the bill. But food was exceptional.

벳푸에 또 온다먄 여기서 머물거예요~! 너무 친절한 직원분들 덕분에 잘 머물다 가요. 티백과 커피는 정말 훌륭했습니다. 집에와서도 말차티백이 너무 맛있어서 또 가고 싶을 정도로 기억에 남아요~! 온천시설도 늦게 까지 즐길 수 있어서 좋았어여~!^^

위치는 좋지 않지만 렌트를 해서 오면 괜찮아요. 직원들이 친절하고 조식도 여러가지 음식이라 맛있습니다. 객실내에 반노천탕이 있어서 아침에 해뜨는것을 보면서 입욕할수 있어서 좋습니다. 두번째 이용이었는데 벳부에 올때마다 이용하고 싶을만큼 만족스럽습니다.

위치가 좀 안좋아요. 렌트를 이용하거나 택시를 이용해야 오기 좋습니다. 주변에 편의점이나 마트가 없어서 아쉬워요

Good breakfast, beautiful views from the room, very accommodating staff. Very spacious room with private bath which was excellent.

Despite being a four person booking there was only 2 beds in the room with 2 tatami futons. If you don't mind these its fine but for us we were looking forward to real beds and it was disappointing.

Man merkt schon bei der Ankunft, dass es ein Hotel in gehobener klasse ist. Das Personal ist sehr aufgeschlossen und unbedingt hilfsbereit! Unser Zimmer- kleine Wohnung ist sehr großzügig gestaltet!!

This is a very nice resort. It's right on the water just north of Beppu Station. We've never stayed in a resort hotel that has private onsen (outdoor baths) in the room (so to speak, actually, on an exterior balcony attached to the room). It was great. You can have a soak in the bath whenever it seems good to you... to watch the sun come up on a cold spring morning, after breakfast, before dinner, as you like. It is consistently rated very highly on a range of sites, and once you stay here, easy to see why. We booked via a third-party site. The rooms are showing some age here and there, but we found our room to be entirely comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. The staff, very helpful, very welcoming, and some speak English well. We opted to pay for breakfast as the resort is (happily) not in the busy/noisy downtown area. It seems like most of the guests chose this option, judging by the number of people who were with us in the dining room. Breakfast is a buffet thing with both Japanese and western food. The hotel is a ten- or fifteen-minute walk from Beppudaigaku station, and it is easy to take public transportation to downtown Beppu/Beppu Station. There is a park, a Starbucks, and some other places (like a Nitori Home Goods store) right around the property, within the same ten- or fifteen-minute walking circle.

早餐很豐盛，餐點多樣又美味， 房間空間大，也很乾淨，視野很美， 可以泡著溫泉看海邊夕陽及日出，很放鬆！ 對面有思夢樂跟賣童裝的地方，旁邊有宜得利家居 走路五分鐘有711，很方便！ 晚餐在飯店內使用，海鮮新鮮，推他們的釜飯，超好吃單價又親民！ 服務人員都很好，下次還會再入住

The location is good: distant enough from the busy, yet right on the water, so that when the balcony door is open the waves can be heard on the beach below. The busier Beppu Station area is easily visited using public transportation. When we checked in I was initially puzzled by the staff member writing the sunrise time on our paperwork but I came to understand and appreciate that touch.

The couch in our room, too low and seemed to tilt slightly forward. But otherwise, no complaints.

It was beautifully presented, relaxing and comfortable. Staff were gracious and professional. It was a short bus ride or taxi trip from Beppu station and there was a lovely foreshore area to stroll along nearby.

욕실 샤워기 전환 스위치가 고장이 나 샤워기를 사용하지 못한 점을 제외하고는 훌륭한 시설이었다.

체크인 후 객실 안내를 담당한 여성 스텝을 제외한 대부분 사람들이 미소가 없이 사무적이었다는게 아쉬웠다. 특히 레스토랑.

朝食が美味しかったです。 チェックアウト後外で案内をしている方がとてもフレンドリーで写真も撮ってくれて嬉しかったです。 少し年配の男の方でした。

チェックインの時の対応がだめでした。 高いホテルなのにビジネスホテル並みの接客でした。ビジネスホテル以下かも。チェックアウトの時もとても乱暴な口調で外国人の同僚のフロント人に話してました。お客の前で使う言葉ではないと思いましたが他のフロントの女の人2人も顔を見合わせていたのでその女の人だけかも。フロントはホテルの顔なのできちんと教育してほしいです。

早餐豐盛並有好喝的香檳。

親切的招呼與服務，令人覺得放心與安全，細緻的空間規劃，房間每一個空間的作用劃分明確，房間溫泉浴池的的設計，就如同大眾浴場的縮小版，從室內洗臉妝畫的空間，進到入浴池前的洗浴室，再到與室外空間相聯的溫泉浴池，室外浴池與海景相連，搭配適時的日出美景，是很棒的享受與體驗！ 一樓的大眾浴池，雖然沒有豪華的山水造景，但維持與大廳相同海天相連的設計，在日出時分，靠著浴池近海側，看著太陽漸次升起的光暈並感受溫泉暖人的溫度，是舒緩撫慰人心的享受 住宿兩天雖然都吃著大致相同的早餐，可以選擇的餐點類型與樣式也都不算是最多的，但是餐點味道都很美味，以日式餐點為主，早餐有提供氣泡酒算是特別的地方 兩個晚上都在旅館內用餐，分別安排在えいたろう與「玄」餐廳用餐，兩餐的內容都算滿意，但是個人更偏好「玄」餐廳所安排的餐點與用餐環境，而且當晚在玄餐廳點了一合（180ml)燒酎，雖然價格略比一般居酒屋高，但是侍酒的方式絕不馬虎（如照片），讓我們輕鬆自在的享用了美味的晚餐 對了，門口的泊🚗接待也很親切，住宿的第二天開車外出時，親切的叮嚀幫我們預留的位置，讓我們回到旅館時可以，自在地停到我們預定好的位置 總之，謝謝你們給了美好的三天兩夜
