Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Das Essen war ein Erlebnis , sowohl geschmacklich wie visuell. Gut gefallen hat mir dass am zweiten Tag das Menü total verschieden war . Auch das Frühstück war am zweiten Tag anders . Die Lage war Top, wir spazierten vom Observation Desk zum Ryokan zu Fuß und durchquerten so ganz tolle Viertel.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026半露天風呂が掛け流し温泉だったので温泉効果で肌がツヤツヤになりました。朝飯のご飯が一人ひとり羽釜で出てきて炊きたてで美味しかったです。
トイレの中の壁に蜘蛛の巣（目の高さ）が有り、不快な気分になりました。お風呂の鏡が水垢で見えずに使いづらかったです。 もしかしたら昔から蜘蛛には縁起がよいという言い伝えもありますので、そのままにしてあったかも知れません。

離れに宿泊したのですが、温泉のとこの下の板、壁が汚かったのです。木なので仕方ないのかもしれないですが、。 お食事が全体的に甘かったです💧

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Wunderbarer Onsen im Zimmer, sehr sauberes Zimmer allgemein. Vorzügliches Abendessen und schönes Ambiente. Man ist schnell am Meer und hat guten Anschluss zu Buslinien.
Ein Teil des Personals wirkte unprofessionell und teils unfreundlich. Das westliche Frühstück am zweiten Tag war im Vergleich zu all den anderen tollen Malzeiten ungeniessbar.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026食事の量もちょうどよく、美味しかった。 食事の説明も丁寧にしてくれた。 セルフでコーヒーも飲めた。 ホテル敷地内の駐車場が少なく少し離れた駐車場に止めましたが、駐車場まで案内してくれてよかった。 部屋に風呂が付いていて気持ちよかった。 周りの人と接することが少ないので、プライベートを楽しめました。
住宅街の中ですので仕方ないですが、ホテルの前に車を車を停めづらい。 部屋の畳が少し古かった、もうちょっとだけ、部屋が広いと過ごしやすかった。

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Das Zimmer mit dem eigenen Tonzuber zum Eintauchen hat uns begeistert - wir haben sehr oft in der "Wanne" gesessen. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen waren außergewöhnlich gut und das junge Personal höchst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dass Englisch gesprochen wurde, war für uns natürlich noch ein Extra-Bonus.
Die Musik auf dem Flur war uns ein wenig zu laut - ich habe mich einmal einfach selbst drum gekümmert...

L’emplacement très bien et pas loin de la gare de l’université de Beppu qui permet d’accéder à plusieurs endroits importants de la ville. La chambres était très propres et très bien équipée avec plusieurs options gratuites comme des bouteilles d’eau, du thé et du café. Le bain privé était extra. Je note également l’excellence du personnel qui était très professionnel, très accueillant et agréable (mention spéciale au membre qui nous a servi qui était parfait). À refaire

Reviewed Jun 24, 2026This hotel was exceptional with all rooms having a private hot spring bathtub. Food packages include multi course fresh curated dining with attention to detail. It seemed like all staff spoke English as well. This is somewhat unusual in such a remote area of Japan.
I didn't mind, but should note that the beds are futon on the floor.

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026The staff was very kind and helpful. Since I cannot eat gluten, I asked if it was possible to make the evening menu gluten-free. Gluten intolerance is not common in Japan at all, so they were unsure at first, but they made it possible. They prepared an entire 10-course menu gluten-free for me, and the food tasted amazing! They really put so much effort into it and even brought me gluten-free bread in the morning. Thank you very much again! Definitely recommended!

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026We booked this stay to treat ourselves to something special and relaxing in the middle of our 3 week road trip. It seriously delivered in that regard. The reception was wonderful, the 10 course dinner both tasty and interesting, the private hot spring water bath that came with our room was a luxury that was heavily enjoyed during our stay. Money well spent!
Because dinner has ten courses and all of it requires a lot of preparation and skill, there is quite a tight organization around dinner, which includes your having to arrive within a limited time frame. This can mean that there is a bit of rushing if you arrive a bit later and closer to dinner time, but luckily, during the dinner itself you will be able to unwind from all of the day's stresses and enjoy quality local food prepared masterfully.

Reviewed May 27, 2026部屋に半露天風呂が付いていて、いつでもお風呂に入れる点が気に入りました。朝食のクオリティがかなり高くて家族も驚いていました。一応大浴場も付いていましたが大きいお風呂が一つしかないので、お部屋のお風呂で満足でした。部屋も清潔で趣がありとても良かったです。アメニティも充実していました。
周りに居酒屋が少なかったところ。月曜日に定休日のところが多かった。別府大学駅が最寄駅だけど、一駅先の別府駅まで行くと飲み屋がたくさんあります。

We would have appreciated a proper chair to sit on as we cannot sit on chairs without legs which made it very difficult in the bedroom. I probably should have checked when I booked.

I learned about the bath tax (1000 yen) only at the check out, it’s not very nice, would’ve been great if someone told me about this before or if they asked me to pay before the check in. Otherwise the staff was very very friendly and nice, thank you!

Запах ароматизатора в туалете слишком навязчивый и сильный, аж до тошноты, несмотря на то, что аромат только в туалете, его чувствуешь и в комнате, это даже мешает спать.

Navette proposée mais uniquement pour 2 personnes alors qu'on est 7, ne proposez pas la service s'il ne peut pas etre assuré. Onsen dans l'établissement non tattoo-friendly donc faites attention si vous l'êtes ca sera uniquement dans la chambre. Odeur fort prenante dans les WC (désodorisant tres chimique). Oreillers tres tres durs.

Reviewed Apr 15, 2026I liked the area around the property and the fact that I have my own space within the room. The property felt very quiet and definitely suited my needs to go there and chill.
It's not my first stay at this property and I have been fine with this property so far.
