Hotel Shepherds Bush London

The hotel was conveniently located near to the railway station, Westfield Mall and for the Shepherds Bush Empire, a music venue we were attending. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and were able to store our bags as we had arrived too early for check in. Tiny bar and seating area in reception, which we did not use. Our room was on the small side with no view, but adequate for one night. The bathroom was clean and modern.

Wifi was poor and bed quite soft for our liking. There were no food options, so extra budget needed for breakfast at cafe nearby.

Room was a little on the small side.

Supplied toiletries could be better, I got a little skin irritation from the shower gels.

Pillows were lumpy and not comfortable. Struggled to sleep with them. All 4 pillows the same.

Blacked out windows so no natural light coming in, unable to close shower door so water going evwrywhere, miniature shower gel and only for one person so we had to share it between 2 of us

Hotel well situated for where I needed it to be for work travel.

The reception extended my stay as requested in direct messaging here on Booking.com but failed to mention the different rate (higher) for that added night. Then, after I paid at the hotel directly, I was told that same evening that I „shouldn’t be worried, my booking was cancelled on Booking.com“. After asking why that is the next day, another receptionist said that they don’t know, that all he can see is that there were payment issues. This wasn’t true, I had already paid in full (total of 3 rooms, which amounts to quite a sum). I had the feeling that the hotel wanted to avoid paying Booking.com and rather make it look like I couldn’t pay. Not acceptable, feels 100% scammy and wouldn’t recommend staying here, nor will I book here in future.

Struttura decisamente poco pulita. Davvero piccola. Molte camere a pian terreno. Zona che definirei non esattamente sicura o rassicurante, in particolare quando cala il sole.

The room is SMALL, and DARK ( the window was covered in ivy and little light came in) and the carpet is old and worn and as good of a job as the cleaning staff might do, its time to replace it. The sink was so small you make a mess on the floor each time you use it. tiny sink

Simple but nice curb appeal. Friendly efficient welcome. Good size family room, well laid out. All the facilities we needed presented nicely. A comfortable night's sleep in a great location.

Prime location in central Belfast close to everything you’d want to see in the city. Reception staff were lovely and accommodating for example we got an hour extra checkout time for free upon request. Room was clean, spacious and well layout in the sense that we had a double and a single room for which the single bed was around a corner so both beds had privacy to say change your clothes even though we were all in the same room.

I can see there has been an attempt to block out the noise from outside of the hotel with double glazed balcony door, but it didn’t block out much external noise, so it was very loud in the night time with the festivities outside and also in the morning with the people cleaning up the festivities and deliveries to shops. Additionally, my friend near the door complained of hearing the elevator going up and down all night. Further, The bathroom didn’t have a window, so poor ventilation meant it’s a prime spot for growth of mold and silverfish because of the dampness (some of which was spotted but we could tell that it has been treated before and it keeps coming back).

Shower heads need clean up and hairs in metal piece Shower frame. We need put our sign on the doors of our to be cleaned and they. Did get them. So bins wasn't cleaned. X

As I was in a room on the lower ground floor (basement) there was no window so it felt a bit dark with no natural light, however there was adequate lighting in the room and it didn't feel claustrophobic.

Stayed one night after a long shopping trip and it was a pleasant time, room was spotless, comfortable bed and the air con was a lifesaver. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Very relaxed and quiet environment too. Would stay again

The only decent things were the shower pressure, and the location to the tube station.

On arrival the ramp is horizontal and forces you into a bush to be able to get onto it, and they had put a plant pot in the way so this is not great. We booked two king rooms, and arranged an extra bed for one as we had three people in one room. I also let them know well in advance that we are wheelchair users. I called twice on the week of to double check the extra bed would be provided. When we arrived for check in we were told the extra bed wasn't available because they only had one and it had broken two days before. No one contacted us about this. The receptionist said they couldn't get us another bed and that we could try to fit all three of us in the bed together or they could give us some extra blankets. As we three had paid to split the room this wasn't fair on the person who wouldn't have a bed. We were told we could get a single room but that it would cost us £200 and that that was their discounted rate already from £300. We ended up asking to speak to a manager and explained that as we had paid £55 each to share a room we weren't okay with having to pay out more than that. The manager said we could have the single room for £55 (which still meant we were out of pocket paying the extra for another room) so we accepted as we had to get ready before our taxi came for us. So we are now out of pocket for an error that was the hotel's fault. Neither of the rooms we were given was disabled friendly, one of them was on the ground floor but the room was small so it was a tight squeeze past the bed to get the wheelchair to the plug sockets, there was no way for a wheelchair to be able to move around the room (so you could basically get it inside and nothing else) When we left i had to reverse all the way out and then because the corners were tight into the hallway I couldn't turn around even once out of the room and had to reverse the entire way into the lobby. There was no wet room or anything like a shower stool or even grab rails.

Absolutely perfect for a quick London stop. We stayed on 10 -11th July in room 104. We were greeted by a lovely lady on the front desk and we were given free water on check in (it was very hot outside). Room was a good size with room around the bed, tea and coffee, fridge and safe. The Air Con was THE BEST i have ever had in a hotel room. Bed was huge and comfortable. No resturant but they have a very well priced bar and snacks. Westfield shopping centre is a 5 min walk with a mcdonalds and shepards bush market is opposite the hotel. Shepards bush tub is next to the hotel!!! And you wouldn't know it, the room was super quiet. It basic but perfect, we will be re booking as we spend a lot of time in London and there is nothing worse then having to walk miles to a tube! Dont let the bit on the website put you of that say book by the hr the hotel is fine. We also found it very easy to get a taxi to Wembley and a tube back. We traveled with another couple who were also very happy with their room.

All staff Very friendly and helpful. When I arrived my room was not ready but reception recommended a visit to Westfield mall. Wow, biggest I have ever been and 2hours later, with shopping bags, I returned. Awesome experience. My very heavy big luggage was a challenge for me to carry up the stairs of the tube right next door, but just after 5 in the morning the night receptionist carried it for me, save and sound right to the tube.

Space in single room basement, bathroom toilet was uncomfortable. Because it is so close to the tube I thought I will hear the train the whole night, but no didn't hear it once. Very quiet and peaceful.

The staff is courteous and helpful. The cleaner Lagos are amazing. The location works.... Pricing to two train stations, mall, bureau d change etc. Makes you relatively independent without having to go far.

The staff were so friendly and supportive helped me with anything I needed! Very accommodating especially as I was disabled using my travel mobility scooter. It was very clean and would 100% stay here again!

The hotel was cosy, in a fantastic location, especially for attending a nearby gig in Shepherd's Bush Empire, which is less than a five minute walk away. Lots of places close by for food too! The hotel was perfectly located for us and our visit to Television Centre. We thought the room was fine and the service was good. A decent spot if you are visiting the Shepherds Bush area.

The room was dark and did not allow much natural light due to artificial plants covering the outer window.
