I liked the location, was close to the river, Shadows restaurant and Walkway bridge.

I have no complaints. The only thing that would be nice to have a hand held shower.

The hotel staff was wonderful especially the reception staff. The room was large and luxurious. The hotel bistro was great, very good food for a fine value.

We had a problem on the first night with the water temp in the shower being warm but not hot, it was quickly fixed after asking the reception desk. The menu prices for room service and the hotel bistro are not updated in the provided link and are about 3-4 dollars lower than in reality. The area that the hotel is in is uncomfortable to spend time in starting around seven, there are also very few dining options around.

Nice rooms

AC was broke, called twice and had to go down the lobby to “fix it”. It sort of was fixed but our room went from 78 degrees to maybe 73, when we set it to 66.

The parking garage access and exit was very cramped. There was an event at the convention center and cars were blocking the entrance to the hotel.

The staff (day and night) were the nicest people. Really helpful and unlike any other hotel staff I’ve encountered. Would stay here again for them (Henry and crew)

Hotel is fine , but unfortunately not a great area to stay if traveling alone, somewhat sketchy to be honest. I would not stay there again alone because it didn't feel safe at night.

We like the place because it is clean and close to shops, restaurants, gas stations, and a quiet place to relax, and they have a water park near the hotel.

We don't like having to pay $20 for breakfast, so we decided to eat outside. Also, it is a very nice place, but it doesn't have a swimming pool.

Clean room and facility.

Parking ramp was tight and tough to manuver in a pickup and hit the sides of the ramp. Also front lobby parking too small and tried to move our luggage in from the parking garage only to find out that we had to take the ramp down and go into the back of the hotel and then back up with no luggage rack.

No air conditioning! Hot day- It "just came on" when we arrived, although we were not told about it until we called the front desk from our room. Our room (7th floor) was 83 degrees. Rose to 84 - so we did not stay. They did refund me, thankfully. Unacceptable conditions. This happened at another Hilton in Boston area last year. Not good.

Convenient location and clean rooms

The HVAC system was down and when it was repaired, my room never had the air condition come on and cool off the room. The temperature was over 80 degrees in my room during the afternoons and no cooler than 78 degrees at night. It was uncomfortable and my request for a portable fan was left unanswered.

We along with over 50 booked rooms for a family wedding. Deserve better for close to $250. night the least they could do was ensure the air conditioning was working. Sadly, double tree Hilton employees were advised to tell guests the the AC was working. I called the front desk several times that an 80 degree thermostat was unacceptable. Yes, someone came up stuck their fingers under the unit and said its ok now. After multiple family guests endured a hot, sweaty night at check out the staff was only authorized to give a 25% discount. As a Hilton member I find this unceptable. Guests that knew ahead of time brought their own fans. I put all the blame on corporate management to have their employees have to deal with poor conditions & complaints. I would have never looked up reviews for a Hilton sure wish we did. This hotel has had issues heat & AC fir a period of time. I will never use a Hilton or their affiliate again.

When I arrived I was told the Air Conditioning had recently been repaired and turned back on. When I arrived back at the Hotel after a busy evening the temperature in my room was 86 degrees. In the morning the room temperature only dropped to 82 degrees. It was unacceptable.

An sich waren die Zimmer sehr gut. Zwei große Doppelzimmer wobei wir nur eins gebucht hatten. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr geräumig.

Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht. Zwar wurden wir benachrichtigt darüber aber die E-Mail kam zu spät. Außerdem ging die Toiletten Spülung nicht. Und wie von booking.com angezeigt sollte Frühstück im Preis enthalten sein. Das war es aber nicht. Dafür hätten wir ein Preis Nachlass erwartet, dieser kam aber nicht. Das wäre fair.

They lied about air conditioner issue to get people to cancel rooms then sold those for higher price.

I found the ramp to garage really narrow. Not much of a complaint but my car is big. Also it is quite a trek , for elderly, to get from garage,to lobby, to room.

In spite of several issues, our stay was mainly pleasant. The room was large and comfortable and seemed clean. It was quiet, but the hotel wasn't very busy when we were there. The room had plenty of plugs. People at the desk were cordial. We had one dinner and two breakfasts in the restaurant and found the portions large and tasty although somewhat pricey, The service was good. The hotel is right in town but there was a parking garage next to it, shared by the hotel and arena. Nice that your room key opens the garage at no extra cost. I would suggest checking your room over before you unpack. We didn't, and unfortunately found several maintenance issues. The room's thermometer was apparently not connected to anything. Even if we turned it off, the unit still blew non-stop. The air was a little cooler than we would like but at least the weather was moderate. The sliding shower door wouldn't stay closed and kept retracting, so the floor got quite wet. The faucet was loose, as was the toilet seat. On the second night, we realized at 9 pm that there were no washcloths. We called the desk and were told housekeeping had gone home and there wasn't anything they could do to help us. Considering that the price we paid was less than the other Hilton properties in the vicinity, we tolerated the lackluster maintenance, but would have expected better from a Doubletree. If in the area again we'd probably stay here, but would be sure to check out the room details before we got too comfortable.

I have never had such bad service. At the last minute they cancelled my reservation citing 'planned works' so I panicked and politely asked for their help to find an alternative. Didn't get a response. I then got an email fining me for a late cancellation. They did not reply to any of my emails. I did not get a refund until I kept on complaining but still yet to get any apology or any comms from them. I am so shocked about how this was handled.

The location of the hotel within town was fine. But downtown was mostly a ghost town, with less than half of the stores and offices occupied, and was a bit sketchy. On the plus side, the brasserie nearby was excellent. The hotel seemed clean and the staff were friendly, but not actually helpful.

The air conditioning was broken and I got the impression it had been so for a while. I asked a service guy to check it in my room while I was at dinner. When I came back, the window was open and that was all that had been done. There was a convention going on next door to the hotel and it was very loud in my room. The window didn't open much, so the room was quite warm and it stayed warm all night since I had to close the window to reduce the noise. When I complained to the desk, the guy said he'd send someone and didn't. So I called the main Hilton no. after an hour and they found out that a whole block of rooms had no air conditioning. She said they could maybe see about doing something in another hour or so, which would have put it at 10:30/11:00. I had to stay in the warm room and just make an early exit. I would not stay there again.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. The air conditioning in our room and reportedly all other guest rooms was not working for the entirety of our two-night stay; the room temperature remained above 80°F, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep and relax-- for context it is beginning of June w/ a high of 84°F outside today. We reported the issue, but it was never resolved during our stay. While the staff did offer a 50% discount, the lack of a functioning air-conditioned room significantly impacted our experience. A basic expectation when booking a hotel room is a comfortable and reasonably climate-controlled environment, and unfortunately that was not provided. I appreciate the staff’s efforts to address the situation, but spending two nights in an excessively hot room fell well below the standard I expect from a Hilton property. Especially considering that management was aware the a/c was not working well before we checked in and did not disclose this information upfront (apparently has been a problem for over a week). I hope management takes steps to prevent future guests from having a similar experience as HVAC seems to be one of many ongoing issues at this hotel.

Room was outdated. Window screen was filthy and window glass was just as bad. Air conditioning did not work (thus the need to open window). Bed did not include a mattress pad, only a fitted sheet. Mattress was ultra soft. One positive: No bedbugs.

Large modern hotel next to arena with free parking for guests. Downtown location close to historic district with bars, restaurants, etc. Very nice bed, by best nights sleep the entire trip. Breakfast a la carte, not bad.

Very nice and clean room

My daughter woke up in the middle of the night around 2AM because something was crawling on her. There were a few spiders in her bed. Needless to say niethr of us got much sleep after that. We were there for a dance competition and had to be awake at 6 AM so this was quite stressful . Danielle I informed the front desk in the AM and the man working was not very interested. He actually made a joke about how many teeth spiders have.

Excellent service from the staff. Please make sure that you are a member so you can get discounts, free drinks or any other. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is great, very close to the airport.

The property was just as the picture online. Everything was great.

The only issue is the heat/AC is controlled by season. You can control your own heat or AC.

It was located close to shopping and great restaurants . It was clean and bed was comfortable.

We couldn’t understand the staff at the front desk and there was a crack in the sink in the bathroom.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was attentive and friendly. We were there for a dance competition that was on-site. The restaurant/bar was understraffed but they really tried to provide great service. The food was okay at best. My only complaint was the price of breakfast. It was your standard hotel buffet and it was $20 pp! I could justify that for a cooked to order breakfast, but it should have been priced at no more than $10. Overall great place! I'd go back at eat at Dunkin! :)

Location was great for what we needed, and the hotel staff was great.

We were there in a snowstorm and the hotel lost heat. So our hotel room was at 50 degrees all night, until about 3am when it was fixed.

I did like the fact I had to give a security deposit- I was going away and that held up funds for my trip until 4 days later…
