Beautiful setting to celebrate our wedding anniversary.Everything about our stay was just how we had hoped .Staff were very friendly and welcoming. This is a very special place.

No restaurant,however, we dined at the sister hotel restaurant and enjoyed a fabulous evening meal.

The curtains in Parsley were very difficult to close, or open.

Lovely pub located in the quiet village of Holt a short drive from Bradford-on-Avon. Friendly staff and parking on site. Great breakfast.

Our room had quite low ceilings and with both of us being on taller side it felt a little cramped.

Lovely pub and restaurant with very nice accommodations. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent, all local ingredients, and the Sunday lunch was also really nice. The room had everything you’d need including real coffee bags.

Die Lage war für unseren Zweck ideal, Besichtigungen von Bath, Bristol und Stonehenge. Ungezwungene Sitzmöglichkeiten im Pub und Gastgarten. Parkplatz kostenfrei, Internetverbindung ausgezeichnet. Pizzaservice direkt anbei. Freundliches Personal.

Englisches Frühstück ausreichend, Alternativen sind sehr kleine Portionen. Ausstattung des Zimmers sehr einfach, Zimmer klein, Badezimmet sehr groß.

Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux.

Emplacement bruyant au croisement de plusieurs routes. Chaleur insupportable dans les chambres sans Airco.

Curtains didn't cover the window. Toilet door hit the bed so acted like an air lock!

Location was great for our final destination. Food was good. Breakfast was fabulous! Staff friendly and attentive.

It was noisy. It was a Friday night to be fair but after the pub closed, a group were still sat outside chatting loudly and I had to ask them to lower their voices.

Wir hatten das Ferienhaus gemietet. Es ist wirklich sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Eine kleine Sitzmöglichkeit war auch vor der Tür im kleinen Hof vorhanden. Das Restaurant und die Pizzeria konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, da wir immer zu spät von unseren Ausflügen zurück waren und die Küche schon zu war. Für uns war es ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für unser Tagesausflüge. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Danke.

Everything was great. One tiny thing the mattress had seen better days, but not really an issue.

The member of staff that met us at the bar when we checked in and showed us the property was nice and welcoming. The house keeper was wonderful. She clearly takes great pride in her work, as the holiday home was immaculate. She was also very gracious when it was clear that I had forgotten to request that the sofa bed also be prepared for our visit. The gent on front of house when we checked out this morning and the gardener were also lovely. The gardeners green fingers area a blessing to the outdoor areas, even in his heat . I highly recommend renting the holiday home at Tollgate Inn, it is a beautiful space. It's proximity to Bath is a bonus and those four members of staff made our overnight stay lovely. Forgive me for not catching your names but thank you for you care and kindess. Keep up the great work!

Cottage confortable, moderne et bien décoré, à côté de l'auberge. Juste pour une nuit mais nous nous y sommes sentis très biens.

This is a beautiful period building, decorated to modern standards. It was clean and fresh. The staff were lovely. I have nothing negative to say. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious.

The young lady who showed me to my room was very friendly and polite, the woman doing breakfast was welcoming and friendly, the breakfast was nice

Ordered a pizza from the little pizza building but was disappointed that I paid £16.50 for a meat feast and I received it burned and this ruined the taste and all I could taste was burnt and pepperoni nothing else, this is the only issue I had

We loved the Ralphy room and will stay there again. Food was fabulous. They even have a little pizza outlet out the back. There is plenty of outdoor seating with a bit out by the carpark overlooking the fields.

My room was immediately above the kitchen so it was noisy. The shower cubicle is tiny - I'm a very slight build and I struggled to fit into it.

Cottage was excellent - great value. Clean and well maintained.

The Inn was quite busy when we arrived due to Bank Holiday. We just wanted a quiet drink, so went to another pub a few hundred metres up the road.

First room I got wasn’t great for a tall person - but no fault of the hotel. Second night I had the room titled Samantha, which was much better!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, being part of a group attending a wedding party nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable (lovely bedlinen!) and the breakfast was excellent.

The room was very clean and the place had great character. The breakfast was very tasty.

The room was small and the bathroom door couldn't open fully as it hit the bed. There was no easy chair to relax in nor a desk to work at. I arrived on Sunday afternoon and the pub closed at 6 pm so no food was also available that night.

No toiletries we provided. Breakfast was very poor.one slice of bacon ,one sausage, half a tomato and one slice of toast. I don't eat egg.we had to ask for some jam which turned up on a small dish. Where wes no offer of more toast tea etc. The evening meal

We arrived to the room next to the pizza barn. The heating hadnt been on and the room was freezing. We managed to put the heating on but it wasn’t welcoming. The double bed was twin beds pushed together resulting in me waking with a bad back. We were moved to a different room the following night which was better - nice and clean. Comfy bed but noisy due to the air dryer in the pub toilet below until the pub closed.

Comfortable large double bed. The interior of the room was clean but a rather bland interior breakfast was disappointing.

Bed was uncomfortable. Shower was very small. The ceiling was inclined so standing walking space was actually very limited in the bedroom, even for us, average to short people. Not the inn's fault but there were other people staying at the inn talking loudly close to midnight, felt almost like they were in the room with us. Did not try breakfast, to note that it was just an hour timeframe. Didn't dine in, it was also expensive for what it offered, ended up going elsewhere. Overall, way too expensive for what it offers.

Stayed here a number of times, aways good. Vey comfortable, with good choice of dishes on the menu. Used by locals and visitors alike.

In a very pretty, convenient location. The people were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. The room and bathroom were well maintained and beautiful styled

On the whole there wasn’t really any issues. The only nitpicking things are the fridge wasn’t fully cleaned and there was no sound protection between the guest rooms.

Nice old building and lovely bar and food on offer

Due to the age of the property the old windows didn't keep much sound out and being on a busy cross roads it was quite noisy

Much thought has gone into the design to make the most of the somewhat limited space. The bathroom had a small but good shower and the sink was very compact. Everything worked well.

There was no table or equivalent at which I could work with my laptop.

Just about everything- location, comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff, good food and drink. Pretty much an all/rounder.

Stayed in room across main courtyard which was nice but the blinds weren’t sufficient to keep light out and front door has stained glass window which allows light in so the whole room is lit to with blue light, just needs a couple of curtains.

The room was very nice and comfortable, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

One rather loud woman at the bar spoiled what was otherwise a lovely experience.
