This homestay is fabulous: Perfect location in a quiet street right on the river near plenty of cheap local and more expensive tourist restaurants and cafe’s. less than 10mins walk to old town (which is noisy, hectic and pedestrian-only so your taxi cannot drive there so this location was awesome). My room was cheap, big, quiet, spotlessly clean with a big window looking over the river, huge comfortable bed, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, hot shower, aircon, white sheets/towels. There was also a little communal balcony on the 2nd floor overlooking the river with table/chairs. The family speaks English and organised a taxi to Danang (300k) at cheaper rate than Grab. The family must have noticed my birthdate on my passport and surprised me on my birthday with a cake and candle, and sent me the video of it. It made my day and was so sweet of them. I have travelled full-time for years and have stayed in a thousand hotels and I couldn’t believe the Incredible value for money and kindness of the family. I really loved this place.

You are staying in the family house with their loud little kids and the ensuite bathroom was small and Asian style where the floor is always wet. Wasn’t an issue but just be aware of it.

Very unprofessional host who greeted us shirtless at check-in. It is just a crowded family house renting out spare rooms, with zero quietness. Outside, their street drink stall was loud until late with traffic and chatting customers, followed by kids screaming and crying at 11 PM. Inside, a boiling water heater and a loud fridge kept waking me up all night. I had a 500 km trip the next day and got almost no rest. Avoid this place if you need sleep.

The family was very friendly and helpful, they helped with local information, I could have a moto ride to Murble Mountains. It was great 😊 the location is optimal, very close to the center of the city. I enjoyed my stay in Hoi An 😍

La homestay è appena fuori dal centro storico, 5 minuti a piedi. Camera molto spaziosa e ben arredata con aria condizionata e frigo, bagno molto comodo e pulito. E poi lo staff, che dire, in Vietnam sono tutti molto gentili, ma Phuoc e la sua bellissima famiglia sono stati estremamente gentili e mi hanno aiutato tantissimo con ogni cosa. Grazie ancora di tutto! 🙏

Family atmosphere

I had an awesome stay. I stayed for 3 nights and all the hosts/ family members were so welcoming, friendly, fun and helpful. The room I had was big, probably the best or one of the best beds I've slept on in 2 years in Vietnam. The location is great, peaceful and close to the old time. It was perfect me because I was just working on my laptop for most of it. A great affordable price. Everybody seems even more friendlier here in Hoi An than Da Nang. I highly recommend! Thank you again I had a very enjoyable stay!?

L'hôtel est bien situé, un tout petit peu excentré mais au calme. Il y a un service de lessive efficace et pas cher. La chambre est grande et avec des rangements. Bon rapport qualité prix dans l'ensemble

Les rideaux n'étaient pas opaques donc on se faisait réveiller tôt le matin. Il y a eu plusieurs pannes d'électricité, c'était impossible de dormir avec la chaleur sans la clim. La chambre n'était pas super propre (qq zones poussiéreuses et de la poussiere qui tombait de la clim).

Quiet Location that is still very close to the most beatiful parts of the town. Super nice and helpful family.

Le matelas et le lit très confortable, moelleux. La proximité avec le cœur animé du centre-ville, tout en étant suffisamment au calme. Très reposant. Belle vue depuis l'agréable terrasse du dernier étage, où nous avions la chambre double.

Awesome and accommodating staff, great location near old town and right on the river, comfortable accomodations. Bed is one of the softest and comfiest i’ve seen across my travels in vietnam. Great value for money! Would recommend to anyone staying in Hoi An.

Clean & comfy with friendly hosts who speak great English. Short walk to town and night market & can rent bikes/scooters and they have tour and travel opportunities to book there

Tiles in bathroom floor very slippery when wet. Tv wasn't working or fixed in the week I was there. Check the building work on both sides has finished as it lasts all day.

El alojamiento tiene una muy buena ubicación, puedes ir andando a casi todos los sitios. La familia que lo lleva es muy amable y te ayudan en todo lo posible, además de darte una mini guía de qué puedes comer o visitar en la ciudad. La habitación era grande y estaba limpia. Por otro lado, pude dejar mi mochila por unas horas después del check out.

El baño está algo viejo y la ducha era un poco rara. Por otro lado, la puerta de la habitación tenía cristal, entraba mucha luz y las cortinas no servían. Además, están de obras y había mucho ruido. Intenté descansar a medio día y no pude, y al día siguiente a las 7 de la mañana ya estaban otra vez haciendo ruido. Creo que se debería tener en cuenta que hay clientes o avisar, para que el cliente decida.

We stayed here for 2 nights, room was very spacious with a lovely window looking over the river. The family were especially sweet and helpful. We hired a moped and did laundry for a very reasonable price. We would have loved to stay here longer but it was fully booked!! Location is excellent for Old Town, close to all attractions in walking distance. Would highly recommend.

Location is quiet and not far from the sights. Parked the motorcycle inside the gate.

The blanket had some small stains which I removed with a wet tissue.

I liked everything about this homestay! It‘s clean, the rooms are spacious, the mattresses and pillows are really comfortable - I slept reeeeally well here! The homestay has also a great location and amazing owners ♥️ and the price is great! It takes you only 8 mins to the old town, but you live in a quiet district, so definitely recommended!

Lovely owners, welcomed us in at 5.30am let us shower & gave us a free coffee, immediately did our laundry for us & let us check in early for free at around 10am. The room was really big with a big bed, nice bathroom, a fridge in the room, great AC. They also had bikes that we rented for a very cheap price everyday.

Location was around a 10/15 min walk out the main area but that was fine for us to walk/cycle

A very good value for money ! Amazing location, just next to the river . Some rooms have a beautiful river view. The location is central and close to everything - cafes, restaurants, laundry etc. It's a family run place and the staff is very kind and speaks English. Also to note the air conditioner worked perfectly - very useful on hot days . Anb the place is very clean !!

The shower looked a bit old..the bedding is simple and I didn't find a power socket that matched my charger right next to the bed (but there was one close enough to the bed). But for this price one doesn't expect luxury so it's totally manageable..the pros outweigh the small flaws by a lot.

Thoát sàn nhà vệ sinh không có ngăn mùi nên hôi. Có vẻ ngườ Hội An chỉ thíc tiếp khách nước ngoài chứ họ không hào hứng với khách Việt Nam. Mình đi cả Hội An và cảm nhận vậy

Des travaux à côté ne permette pas de grâce matinée, mais c'est calme la nuit. Il n'y a pas trop de pression dans la salle de bain. Il manque un drap de dessus car juste une petite couverture ce n'est pas assez

It's a family run homestay and they are very welcoming and helpful. Especially Hoang is very helpful with everything you need such as tours or pick up from Da Nang etc. Room is very spacious. Hotel is very close to the old town and the popular area just a few minutes by walking. They also have 3 little girls living there. I really enjoyed having some English class with them and playing games. They are so friendly and fun. Don't hesitate to say hi to them.

My stay at Dong Nguyen Riverside Homestay was truly delightful. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and clean linens. The location is great, just a 15-minute walk from the center of Hoi An. What really made the difference, though, was the kindness of the host and his whole family. They welcomed me into their home with warmth and friendliness, offering great tips to help me make the most of my time in Hoi An. And I can't forget the delicious breakfast each morning, especially the omelette, shared in the lovely company of his three wonderful daughters. I highly recommend this place!

The riverside homestay was brilliant. The room was so big and spacious with a very comfy bed. The host was so kind and recommended lots of things for me to do and they were definitely things worth doing! The location is great as it's very easy to access so many places in Hoi An from the home stay either by bike or grab. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Hoi An!

Excellent place!!! Away from the Hustle and Bustle but yet only 5-10 mins walk to Bars, Restaurants, Cafe and the Old Town 🙂. The Owners and their Daughters were Incredibly welcoming and Helpful. The Room was perfect for my needs. A good size, Incredibly Comfortable Large bed, fridge, Table and Chairs. Shower and Toilet! Opposite a Quiet stretch of the River. Thank you very much!!! I will definitely Stay here again if I come back to Vietnam!!! Great WiFi too ✌️🤗

The shower was a little bit weak and a Kettle in the Room would be Great!!! But these are just small things! I REALLY Enjoyed my Stay here. It really did feel like a Home from Home 😁

Great location, walking distance to Hoi An ancient town. However, it feels like renting a room at a local's house, a bit inconvenient, the room is not soundproof. Polite staff. The hostel lacks some necessary items such as slippers in the room or toothbrushes.

Peaceful riverside location with a nice view of the river across the road. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Good tours offered from the hostel.

Quite a lot of insects/ mosquitos inside the room and bathrooms. The private room was very loud and could hear everything going on outside and in the next rooms.

Everything was just perfect! Very kind and helpful. We rented bikes, we booked a tour and a private car to Da Nang airport. Location is perfect, close to the old town but quiet and peaceful.

We loved staying here with Phuoc & her lovely family. They all were so friendly, welcoming and generous. The location is peaceful and quiet but a short walk to the busy areas. She gave us many good recommendations for food and tailoring. They can book many tours for you too. We loved the bike rental, laundry and other amenities. Most of all, we just loved getting to know the family. 😊 we really hope we can come back here and stay again!! Thank you so much!

I heard about the place from solo woman traveler who said she felt good and safe there - I was there alone too and can attest it was such a charming a nice place. The family that runs it is amazing and so helpful the location is great. I rented a bicycle for cheap and they gave greet recs for food and a tailor in town

It’s not a luxury hotel, but you’re not paying luxury prices. It’s a very quaint, basic place with such charm and truly an amazing family running it. Need to bring your own toiletries, and carry your own luggage and the room doesn’t get cleaned during the day, but again for the price - the WiFi is good the AC works great and it’s a really great location
