Obviously an older place but it's been kept up well and is tidy and clean; comfortable beds, nothing too complain about.

It was a peaceful stay and the restaurant was great

I was denied access to the room upon arrival. I was told because I was a local I couldn’t stay there.

I paid for a room and the was denied the room. Never got my money back. They basically stole my money. The reason being was because I was local I wasn’t alto stay there

Good coffee and condiments available, room service starts really early, Clean room, lots of towels, kitchenette well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, etc.

The tv was hard to navigate with the 2 remotes, but I understand that the new Smart tvs are horrible to navigate, nothing like it used to be. I had the same experience at a residense with this new technology, its too complicated to navigate, way too many buttons to push between the 2 remotes. I think you should have a written info sheet on the sequence of the button pushes in order to use the tv.

Still looking for my money to be refunded!!!!!!!! They did not have ANY rooms available AT ALL!!!! They said YOU would refund me ALL $ right away! They refused to refund me, when we arrived!!!!!!! I TALKED TO STAFF AND SUPERVISOR/MANAGER, TO NO SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Front desk (Jessie) impressed me with his swift competence. Parking was ample, well lit, SAFE. The room was nicely updated, spotless, spacious, quality furnishings (older motel w/ basic door handle, huge front window, thick ceiling & walls. One can hear the highway traffic but not the neighbours). I was blown away by how CLEAN it was. The bedframe creaked lightly when I crawled into it (Which comforts me; I feel if they can move the bed easily then things are likely more hygienic, all around). The soaps were the refillable type/fastened to wall. The coffee was the 5 cup drip machine (the better type of coffee maker; they know what they’re doing here). The mini fridge has a separate freezer compartment. The microwave was also substantial/upper quality & spotless. I had the best sleep knowing I was safe, the car was safe, & I’ll be back …It was the best roadside motel experience I’ve ever had tbh. Did I tell you how spotless it was? HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have stayed there many times. It is ok for a cheap stay. Value for money. The room was very clean. It looks as though some things had been updated. Food is always good. Large portions. The staff are very good. Polite, attentive, actually seem happy to talk to you.

For the price point. Everything was fine.

We particularly enjoyed our Greek dinner in the Carmel restaurant. Our server, Lisa went out of her way to make it a meal to remember. The 10% off coupon from the motel for the restaurant was a bonus.

Overcharged me on my room. Bathroom toilet leaking. With a stain on the floor. Hairs everywhere. Floor was dirty . Had a sauna with room and it was filthy as well. Soap dispensers empty. Won’t be staying here ever again. No one answers the phone not to mention had to wait at the front door for someone to arrive to get keys for my room.

Room was dated and room was not as clean as it should be. I also emailed the motel 3 days ago and still haven't had a response.

Room still had some dirty from last guest. Sheets were good but bathroom had hair in corner and shower.

Great place to stay if headed to the airport in the morning. Carmel restaurant is great home cooked food as well.

Pet friendly and pet fee reasonably priced. Great restaurant within walking distance to motel n the complimentary discount at restaurant is a nice touch. Room was clean, well stocked for coffee, nice to have the kitchenette especially if staying more thsn overnight

We needed 2 rooms, last minute, and one needed to be pet friendly which wasn't showing as available via Expedia. I called the motel to see if they had any pet friendly room available that just hadn't been allotted to Expedia's list of available rooms for that property. A very nice and friendly lady on the reception desk said that, yes, they did have one pet friendly "Standard Queen" available, and the total price (after taxes and their $15 one night's pet fee) was $155! Unfortunately we really needed the room because the place we were meant to be staying downtown (and had booked well in advance) was located right next door to a huge/active property fire! So, I booked one pet friendly room over the phone and then booked an additional "Standard Queen" through Expedia for $113 after taxes. The pet friendly room was very basic and definitely not worth anywhere near $155/night. Also, while most of it was very clean (all the important bits, like bed/sheets and the bathroom, thankfully) the flooring was very grubby and gritty, as though housekeeping had missed mopping or even vacuuming it between guests.

The rooms are a bit tired. The sink drain was clogged with long hair (not ours) and drained very slowly.

I appreciate the value of the property for what you pay. I’d book a jacuzzi suite again!

We normally like to NOT use BIG BOX hotels/motels however the room had a smell to it, and the description giving in the online add did NOT live up to what I expected. I would not recommend this hotel.

The lobby reception needs to be air freshed. Unfortunately it smelled very much like soil underwear.

The Hotel is very well maintained on the outside and inside the rooms. I was surprised how clean and comfortable it was. Good price for a well delivered service. Looks like it is very well managed.

The air conditioner was a little noisy, but we had a good night.

A sign was posted in the door that said to be patient as the person was away from the desk, though the staff member was sitting there. There was no greeting, I provided my name and he demanded ID and credit card, which you normally present. Then he told me they don’t accept the type of credit card I had and that without another credit card we would have to go somewhere else. Thankfully we did have another credit card. The staff continued to be rude and when asked simple questions he snapped at us. I have stayed here many times before and have never had a problem but will never come back here again. The room wasn’t the cleanest, there was no body wash in the dispenser in the bathroom and no Kleenex though I would be hesitant to touch the dispenser because it’s covered in spots.

There were very few options in town available when we booked. The Carmel inn had the friendliest service at both check in and check out. The rooms were cleaner that I anticipated they would be. The downside was the bed that I thought was a queen was actually a double. Life goes on.

Just booked for a place to crash in the middle of a long road trip, as I have a few times before. Checked in at 12am and were outta there again by 9. Staff were super accommodating to the late check in, so friendly and polite. Rooms were nice and clean. Would, and probably will, stay again

I understand there are some rules to staying at this hotel, however it would have been nice for staff up front to be understanding of the situation and go an extra-mile to have a satisfied customer.

Super clean. I’m amazed again at how clean this property is, the room was spotless again. The pride shows, I stay at tons of hotels and the beds, showers, floors etc are never this good. Staff are great. Parking is awesome. I had 30+ feet this time and parked right outside my room. Honestly the only 4 star was the restaurant. We had the breakfast buffet for the first time and it was good, but couldn’t use my coupon for 10% off and was told after. Also it was 30 bucks each. Didn’t see the value in that for the 2 eggs, couple pieces of bacon, and has browns, but maybe others do.
