Hinton Highway Inn

This place was a pleasant surprise for a roadside motel. I have a large dog and there was a great grassy area nearby to take her to. Everything was incredibly clean. The only reason I gave it four stars overall is just because some of it is a little old and worn, but otherwise it was wonderful. The staff, who I assumed to be the owners, were lovely.

Clean room and easy parking

Great renos, friendly staff. There’s nothing fancy about the property, but the amenities (and snacks!) available were above and beyond expectations. The mattress left a lip to be desired but I would absolutely stay here again.

It felt like a small apartment, rather than a hotel room. I ended up staying an extra night. Reasonably close to Jasper without paying Jasper prices.

It was convenient for my journey.

We use this facility whenever we stay in Hinton, providing its available. Staff and nicely renovated, clean rooms make it wonderful.

This review is different. I received a call from the front desk letting me know that the hotel had been overbooked. They moved us to a different hotel that was nearby and paid for everything. So I don't have a review of this hotel, but they seem to take care of you well!

Great recently renovated older motel. The exterior looks rough but the room was fine.

Beautiful area and very clean rooms with excellent staff. One thing that I felt could be different is that the TV was on the side of the beds, not infront for viewing

It was well equipped. Had a large kitchenette. Bathroom was nice. Beds were comfy. Very quaint.

Meticulously clean. Beautifully maintained. Friendly staff. Was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. So pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in Hinton AB. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. Also pet friendly!

Same as my last post, clean, quiet, priced nicely and the staff are very friendly and more than willing to help. Cannot wait for my next trip to Hinton

The room was subpar at best. The heat/ac would not stay on, so we baked all night until I finally opened up the windows, which introduced all the ambient noise of the highway on one side, and the railway tracks on the other. The beds were so worn out it was literally like sleeping in a pokey hammock! The towels in the bathroom were old and not so white anymore. The bathtub was damaged and looked like nail polish was spilled on the front. We checked in rather late, so it wasn't possible to change rooms or hotels without loosing money in the process. The upside is that there were no bedbugs, and they provided free snacks. I would NOT recommend this establishment whatsoever!

As a number of other guests have commented the outside appearance is fine but definitely not the look of new hotel but the rooms have been totally gutted and re-done and are fantastic. A good amount of kitchen supplies are provided. Staff are very friendly. It's a great place to stay at a reasonable cost.

Newly renovated, clean and professional service at check-in and check-out

Check in went very smoothly and was quick. Office staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, very personable. The room is immaculate and recently renovated, it’s absolutely beautiful. Will definitely stay here again when I’m in this area

Staff is very friendly, everything you need in a motel room. Kitchenette was a great bonus.

Eccellent place to stay. Clean spacious. Close to coffee shop. Has a regular coffee machine and a large fridge with freezer compartment.

On highway, pretty industrial area. But room was quiet and very close to town.

Its a good place to stay for a few days...very clean...on the inside and as well equipped kitchette...could be cleaned up on the outer perimeters of the yard but overall nice place...

I felt like I got what I paid for and that means alot these days. The floor and ceiling could use a fresher but I was satisfied especially with the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom!

Best location and best rooms

We loved this very cozy, extremely well appointed room. Everything you could need was there...thick bath towels, super clean, hot plate, full fridge and some free treats. There was even a bbq for quest use. All at a very reasonable price. Thank you for this lovely alternative to chain hotels. We chose this motel because we were evacuees from fire in the NWT last year and saw that you supported the folks from Jasper with your kindness. This rates high in our books. Support small businesses, people!

The prices is affordable. The management is so accommodating and friendly. The room was so clean and nice with a coffee maker and free goodies. The rooms have been upgraded and they have done a nice job.

It was good obviously cleaned very well and good cleaner smells were evident. The hot and cold were backwards in the kitchenette though only complaint

Amazing woman at the front desk was so helpful when my plans had changed because of a fire evacuation. She did not hesitate to let me know she was there to help with anything I would need during the time of uncertainty. She was very kind and accommodating 🙏 I would definitely recommend this place to anyone making a stop in Hinton :)

Front desk agent was so friendly. Saw the cutest husky outside with piercing blue eyes. Honestly I’d stay here again just to see the dog. Huge rooms, very clean, and a great kitchen. 10/10
