Friendliness, the breakfast, and cleanliness

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable.

Good stay after we finally got a top floor room. Lots of noise and stomping from upstairs when we were initially on the 3rd floor. Literally 10 minutes walk from the Mall of America and the transit station. All of the hotels in the area will be affected by noise from the airport nearby but the flight paths were always changing. Overnight flights are supposed to use a distant runway.

Breakfast was fine.

Cut up fresh fruit would have been nice.

We had a great stay at TownePlace Suites. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. What really stood out was the staff. The morning front desk teams on the 19th and 20th were incredibly welcoming, positive, and more than accommodating. They made us feel like valued guests from the moment we walked in. It reminded us of how hotels used to be, where genuine customer service and a friendly attitude were the standard. The staff really deserves recognition! We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I liked that Eric, the Manager and the staff were very accommodating with my stay. My two young daughters and I had a wonderful experience.

I wish there would have been a hot tub.

My husband and I had our dog with us on our roadtrip and we're curious about Mall of America. We're glad we found this TownePlace. The price and amenities for the location (across the street from Mall of America) was a great value for our overnight stay. Check-in was easy, and the front desk personnel was very welcoming. There were plenty of areas around the property to walk our dog, albeit close to the interstate. The double room was large, sparkling clean and comfortable--plenty of room for our pup's dog bed. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, pastries and several hot items, even a waffle iron for fresh waffles. We would stay at a TownePlace again in a heartbeat.

It was clean and the staff were friendly.

The pull out sofa bed touches the actual bed in the room so we couldn't walk between them when our son was sleeping. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work, and they don't give you new towels daily unless you ask.

I did not like that each room had to be purchased separately therefore Texas were paid Separately And Deposits Were required separately Period that really held up a lot of money For us That we weren't expecting. Not to mention we had a cancellation going through booking.com for a hotel that was not suitable for our children so therefore we were waiting on the holds for that to be released as well. You should offer to your rewards customers zero deposit after so many stays or a single lower deposit for two rooms to loyalty customers. We were held up at the bank for nearly $400 that was untouchable during our vacation

Location to the mall was good, and it was fairly quiet. Staff was all very friendly.

Very cold pool which was a huge reason for our stay, mediocre breakfast, lots of planes take off directly above this hotel (Didn't notice the noise as much when we stayed on the other side of the mall previously). There is also a fee for parking for some reason which was not disclosed when booking? Seems like a sneaky way to try to get more money out of you.

Super clean and updated room! Great hot breakfast, TONS of options - bacon, eggs, sausage, bagels, make your own waffles oatmeal and then things like fresh fruit and yogurts that you can take for later as well. Options for all my kiddos. Extremely clean, fresh smelling, lobby is super clean as well, workers were all pleasant and check in was super easy! Everything was great.

The pool could be bigger and have less chlorine.. it was pretty rough on our skin, eyes etc but it wasnt a major thing!

Being charged overnight parking fee then also a daily parking fee on top as well. Daily parking fee not mentioned when checking in but the overnight fee was stressed in regards to using the QR code to pay.

We had a fantastic stay at TownePlace Suites in Bloomington! The location was perfect—we loved being able to walk to Pizza Novara, which was absolutely delicious with a great atmosphere (10/10 recommend). Parking was easy and convenient, which made everything even better. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, very comfortable, and welcoming. The beds were cozy, the pool area was great, and breakfast was excellent. What really stood out was the amazing, friendly staff who made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

The location is prime if you’re going to the mall of America. Just a walk across the street to your destination. The room itself is pretty nice. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

Didn't realize there was a $10 fee to park our car in the lot. Breakfast was hectic and minimal, but possibly due to the blizzard that had happened the day prior.

The only thing was there was a ton of snow in the lot it was sporty trying to get out. It needed to be a bit better of plowing.

You can hear the planes take off throughout the night. The bed and couch squeaked every time you moved. It was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. We requested a crib, and it ended up being an old pack and play. It was so bad I couldn't let my baby sleep in it. Everyone in the reviews raved about breakfast. However, the only thing that was good was the oatmeal. Had to pay for overnight parking!

Staff was great, breakfast was delicious, nice fluffy eggs. Didn't expect the fire pit or the grills or the excellent kitchenette. The boys and I were very impressed and will stay there again.

I didn't like That I didn't discover this place earlier. It's all on me for that, everything they did was great!

I arrived at this hotel and was greeted by a very personable lady. She made me feel that I was a valued guest. I asked about dinner recommendations and mentioned going to the Mall of America. She confirmed that I could get a meal there but recommended a restaurant nearby. Great recommendation. Once I got to my room, I found a very clean room and nice accommodations. Even though this location was very close to the airport, it was not noisy. Breakfast was well stocked and there were many choices.

Had a great trip and enjoyed my stay.

You will hear planes flying over, but it's less common at night. The convenience in MOA access outweighs that downside in my opinion.

A very nice stay and location Everyone at the facility were extremely nice and helpful.

I booked this for my family of three adults. The check in was smooth and the staff was wonderful. The room was too small that we could not use the sofa bed, so we all of us have to squeeze in the same bed. It was not comfortable at all. We booked three nights, so we had to suffer all three night. Mirror is only in the bathroom, so we must wait or queue up for our turn. Very strange to see the store area inside the bathroom. The wash basin is kept on the right side of the mirror in the toilet instead of Center, so if you brush your teeth or wash your face, your hand will hit on the wall, useless design. The air conditioner is completely a useless, it is only making lot of noise. It starts and stop in few seconds. The breakfast is the same every day. Overall, we are not happy with our stay.

I had to check out early in the morning ( 5 am) and the front desk staff was not there. So, check out procedure was not clear.

Pros: Walkable distance from Mall Of America. Nice, spacious and clean rooms. cons: Breakfast options could have been better. Per device internet charges are something i havent heard off, espeially for a family of 3 or 4 people. Wasnt like this the last time i stayed here. Probably will not be staying here during my next trip.

The electronic signal for arrival to each floor inside the elevator is really poor; needs repair. The breakfast was subpar. I saw Raisin Bran on the cereal dispenser window, but what dispensed was some kind of sugar-laden raisin crunch cereal. Very disappointing. The eggs were fake. Everything prefab.

Hotel is within walking distance to the Mall of America and across the highway from the airport, so you do hear planes flying overhead, which I did not mind. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent with few choices and a waffle maker. Cons: The hotel and room had a strong perfume smell upon arrival. Being someone who is very sensitive to perfume smells, I had to drive to Walmart (10 mins drive) and get some air fresheners. Hotel has heated pool but no hot tub!!

Loved the entire room that we booked to include the pull out bed. It was perfect for small children to accompany in a one bedroom suite.

The only thing we didn’t like was not having meat served during weekdays for breakfast. It was unusual to only have eggs as a protein on weekdays. Other than that, the hotel was great.

The room was nice but there were dirty dishes left inside the dishwasher and we had to pull some out to wash them by hand, which was kind of gross.

Stayed three nights July 2025 in a two room king suite. Staff nice, very clean, bed comfortable, breakfast tasty, good cell service and video reception, free on-site convenient parking, nice central location. My wife and I rented a King Suite because we enjoy the additional space. While , the “living room” area is quite large, there is so little functional furniture that it becomes “dead space”. The couch, which faces the TV mounted on opposite wall is the smallest thing I have ever seen, short, narrow, horribly uncomfortable and totally unfit for human relaxation. Maybe OK for “ munchkin’s’. No end tables, no “coffee table” even though plenty of room for them. We had to place wine glasses on a maybe one foot round somewhat unstable free standing small table. Room otherwise lacking in common furnishings you would find in other hotels. I informed front desk about my dissatisfaction with the room, primarily the couch and living area, but was told all the rooms had been recently remodeled, they all had the same (tiny) sofas, so there would be no sense in moving to another room. Should consider firing the person who made room furnishing acquisition decisions. So, if you stay here, rooms other than the suites may be just fine, but avoid the Suites. Also, the front door leading into our room was so heavy it must have been made out of tank armor. Difficult to open, and you have to be careful when exiting to avoid being hit as the door rapidly closes (on its own). Also, given suite room’s negative issues, it was way overpriced.
