Amazing experience.

A good hotel with the necessities needed while performing pilgrimage. Nice, clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. A short walking distance from the mosque. Regular shuttle service also available free of charge. Breakfast had a varied selection to cater all. However a few additions that cater to the British/European palate would be a great improvement.

Lovely, clean and neat ..only issue is at 7am the construction outside starts which disturbs your rest

The hotel has buggies at the bust stop which is very good, my experience with the drivers of those buggies were a bit inconsistent some of them are very agitated and driving like it’s a video game while others showed excellent customer service. When I arrived in the buggy with my massive piece of luggage I was met by an amazing gentleman managing the valet or the concierge as he quickly looked around to see if there are any bill boys in sight and there was none he helped with the luggage and instructed the buggy driver to take me in until he hands me to a bill boy This was one of the quickest check in experience I ever had in Makkah! I usually expect long queues and wait time of checking in at any of the Haram area hotels but this was under 5 minutes The bus to Al Haram is not worth the ride , the drop of is a 10 minutes walk from the closest door and an elevator ride down to the closest holy mosque gate so walking from the hotel and taking the buggy is a quicker option. Tried the room service and the food was quick and very well made, potion was big and the room service delivery staff was very polite. Overall experience was up to the Marriott standards which is great for a city like Makkah.

Terrible experience

Very elegant hotel, close to Haram. The service is always excellent. However, the condition of the bathroom could use some renovation.

It was wonderful as my booking was upgraded to junior sweet. I was so pleased as the room was fantastic. Winderful and friendly staffs too. Thank you Marriot

Decor and Spacious

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Jabal Omar Marriot. It’s a 5 min walk to the Harem when using the trolley or bus, breakfast was excellent, everyone was really nice and Ahad, our housekeeping ensured we had everything we needed in our room. Taxis were easily available outside. No complaints. Would stay again.

Friendly staff, fairly close to the haram.

Overall, the experience was good. The beds and bathroom were clean. The carpet was a little old and stained. The service was amazing overall. There were a few inaccuracies with the booking and the reality when it came to timing. For example the app said Checkout Time is 2:00pm and they had locked our room at 1:30pm. That was a little confusing. Compared to other hotels in the area, it was pretty good, though.

Very nice hotel

We stayed at this hotel while we performed our Umrah from 4th til 9th April. It is a lovely hotel: the rooms are spacious and clean, the service was efficient, the breakfast was delicious and plenty of different dishes to choose from. The buggy and shuttle service from and to the haram shareef are very convenient. The staff are friendly and very helpful especially Abu Tayab. He organised all our transport out: zayarats, Mecca to Medinah, Medinah to Mecca and then to Jedda airport. Abu Tayab even organised for us to use the hotel facilities on our return to Mecca from Medinah to perform our second Umrah. Jazaak Allah Khair for making our visit smooth and enjoyable.

I really like the trolly service that the hotel offers

A luxury 5 star hotel located close to the Haram. The only slight downside is that it is up a hill and takes a short walk to get to the Haram. However there is a regular and reliable golf cart service which takes you closer to the Haram extension. However, there is also a prayer room which is located on the third floor overlooking the Haram, where you can still be part of the congregation. Food choices are abundant and exquisite and staff are friendly and always on hand to help.

Amazing hotel

Nice stay with shuttle service. Staff are caring, kind and helpful. MD Sohag & Islamiya are very nice staff members are this hotel.

Great place to stay for Umrah, the shuttle service was very convenient to get to Haram. You can also walk if you want. The breakfast was really good. Highly recommended. The south asian food wasn't nicest at the breakfast but everything else was amazing. Loved the variety and options. Hotel staff was friendly, alert and always available.

The stay was pretty good. The lobby looks amazing and everything is clean. We had 4 rooms and one of them smelled pretty bad. We asked for a new room because it smelled like mold. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide us with a different room. Other than the smell, I would say 10/10.

As soon as you enter the property the Oud fragrance gives a welcoming atmosphere The shuttle and golf cart service to the Haram was an added advantage but I wish they had an order for the people to make a line to get in to these as people forget their manners and cut in front of you The prayer room was also a great advantage on those rainy days The rooms were nice and clean with good view We would like to give a shoutout to Shahidul our room attendant who always made sure our room was clean and stocked up with the necessities

We liked that there was shuttle and cart service but the shuttle was really slow. We had to wait 10-15 minutes each time where as other hotel shuttles was always coming on within 3-5 minutes interval. If you are providing a service please make sure that service is good cz there are other competitors. One day we paid for 2 breakfast and the hassle we had to go through was really annoying. They were sending us back and forth between lounge and restaurant. After that experience we didn’t buy anymore breakfast from the hotel.

Outdated furniture and bathrooms

Really good hotel had a bus shuttle which drops you to a lift which takes you to the masjid and the hotel also provides golf carts to take you to the masjid which is especially useful after salah as there is a bit of hill to the hotel. Hotel was a 5 minute walk making it really close for coming back to and from the masjid. The staff and especially the housekeeping staff were amazing and extremely helpful would stay here again

The location of hotel had to walk around 10 minutes to Haram Mosque.

The whole experience was very good in my opinion. Everything was smooth, no headaches or going back and forth on anything. If something is missing, and I mean anything whether it is a material or a service, just ask and they will make it happen. Finally, big shout out for the cleaning member Mahmoud Ahmed this guy is very nice, helpful, and wants his guests to feel most comfortable, I truly appreciate his service.

We had the partial Haram view and the room was amazing, especially the bed near the large windows was just breath taking. Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always wanting to assist.

Very convenient and walkable

By far the most comfy beds I’ve slept in. Was given a complimentary room upgrade. Shower was amazing, beautiful decor & everything exceeded my expectations. Will definitely book for next Umrah trip, inshalla

Excellent place service staff I always love to come back again and again

Really enjoyed my time at the hotel. The shuttle bus to the Kaabah was convenient. The restaurant had nice good and the hotel was close to the haram.

Stay in Madina was excellent and up to the required standards. Stay in Makkah was disappointing. Hotel room was not good.

It is was really good experienc staying with Marriott

The receptionist was not professional enough to handle our check in process. First she checked in us in a wrong room where my reservation was for triple beds and she put us in double bed room and when i called her she said they can provide a third roller bed and it will block the walkway. So I had to go back to the lobby to change the room. Also, I asked upon check in to change our dinner timing to have it in breakfast time instead and she didn’t do that where she put us in awkward position with the restaurant. Last bed cover we’re having blood stain and found the last day of our stay and housekeeping in hallways needs to be improved. Thanks.

It was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in period. Not clean, only one guy serving customers at check in. Bathroom are so disgusting. Rooms smells like cigarette disposable area. Carpet are old and nasty.

Omar was very nice cleaning the rooms. The hotel was close to the Haram. Transportation was also good. Highly recommend

Brilliant place to stay and relax

We arrived around 12.30 pm by EK, the Front Desk staff Ms ( Abeer or Ambar - dont fully recall) was helpful . She also upgraded our Tripple Room to a Suit . Confortable stay for Umrah . Thanks

- Great Breakfast, variety of foods - Shuttle Bus to the Haram, otherwise a 7min walk. The bus is convenient and quick however once dropped off, you need to get an elevator down the ground floor which can be quite busy - All staff were attentive

The hotel was lovely and the staff did their best but we had multiple experiences with room service where our bathroom especially was not properly cleaned, left with water all around, and old towels were removed but not replaced.

Overall stay was good the best part is their frequent shuttle service to haram which makes life easy.

People are nice but the conditions of the rooms and toilets was not of a level of 5 star hotel.

A bit disappointed with the facility, for the amount we paid for a presidential suite, I would expect to have clean furniture, bathroom is small and the same size as any other room in the hotel. Check it and check out is not ideal I would think twice and about this place

The staff could care leas wether you are there or not. Very indifferent and unwelcoming. Not a single member of the team checked on how our stay was for the entire duration.

Very conveniently located by the haji's enterance to the Haram, the shuttle transport from hotel to haram is non-stop at all hours, shuttles are ready to go at the hotel and at haram any time which was extremely convenient. Staff was very friendly and accomodating especially Mr. Rehmat and Me. Karim at the reception, they both took very good care of our needs as I was traveling with my elderly uncle. Will be staying here again for the last leg of my journey and will definitely stay here for any future visits as well. 5 star facility with a 5 star staff, highly recommend!

The service was great! Roomboy, Ahad and his supervisor, Damil were fantastic at getting the job done. Overall, very happy with my stay and would definitely return!

Lovely hotel, free shuttle bus close to the haram

The check in Service from Marium was amazing! She was very friendly and answered all of my questions. The room however wasnt as clean as some of the other hotels in the area, there was noticeable dust on tables, lamps and other items

I really enjoyed my stay at Jabal Omar Marriot. The staff were super friendly, the Haraam was accessible and they had a 24/7 shuttle running, for those who didn’t want to walk. It’s great if you want to avoid the crazy crowds of the clock Tower hotels; Nice, quite and peaceful. They had great traditional majlis setup. However, the cafe on the main floor was closed most of the time so majlis couldn’t be fully utilized. People had to go out to get coffee and/or tea. The breakfast was amazing with a plethora of options. Really enjoyed the sausage and falafel. Thank you again JOM Umar from Canada

Jabal Omar Marriott was the best choice for our short stopover in Makkah. The staff was very welcoming and made effort to ensure convenience of the guests. Cleaning Crew was efficient in house keeping and providing toiletries especially crew member Shahidul Khan who was prompt in addressing our requests during cleaning service. Very pleased with our stay

My hotel room’s ceiling was leaking every night and the staff never came to look at it or offer me another room after constantly reminding them, room service did not come every day so my garbage was constantly backed up, I asked for simple things like water or a bedsheet and they did not give it to me. The hotel itself is also very far from Masjid Al Haram, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk depending on the amount of people.

I liked inside and out side and room and toilet etc everything was excellent

Not good, when we arrived our check in was for 6:00 PM. The front desk said the room was not ready. It took us a two hour wait to get the room key. The room was totally dusty. room service was poor. When you call for a service, the operator says some one is coming but nobody showed up until the next day,when you ask for extra towels or toilet paper the cleaning people say we are not allowed to give extra. Then I talked to the duty manager Mr. Rahmat, he took action after that things were okay. Mr. Rahmat is an awesome person, I told him the whole story. I appreciate Mr. Rahmat the duty manager he took action. Administration doesn’t know what’s happening inside the hotel. Front desk peoples their attitude were not good either!
