Great location beside harbour, free parking and nice bar, restaurant. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room well sized and nice view over harbour.Good breakfast.

The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The location was perfect for the South West Coastal Path.

The small road at the front of the hotel is surprisingly busy and due to no double glazing this made the room noisy. This wouldn't stop me staying here again as the staff are so friendly I would just request a room at the rear. The hotel would benefit from some investment.

The location was very good. Evening meal was good. Breakfast was excellent 😊 The room was dated and really needed a little more thought into the decoration as the whole of the interior of the room including the woodwork was painted in a dark blue, very drab.

The room was large and spacious. Had a balcony with a sea view. Bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a good selection. Easy walk into Minehead.

The room could do with a bit of TLC, just decor wise and the bathroom modernised. Needs a bigger shower head. A coffee machine would be nice and spare power points by the mirror.

The location was very good and Siobhan was a fab front end manager and a huge asset. The breakfast was over and above. I had the kippers and im well travelled best i have had yet.

Probably the tv needed to be a bit bigger and brought into the 21st century. Also the hall carpets could do with a blast of the rug doctor.

More free parking perhaps. But the car park next door was priced very reasonably. Have to be out before 09.00 to avoid the following day charge. But only a very minor point as the Inn can't do anything about it. There were plenty of spaces including disabled.

Very good location, a great breakfast, staff very friendly. If the bed and shower was sorted we would happily come back as it's a lovely quiet place.

The bad was uncomfortable. Cold shower every day even though staff came up when we told them. Think they had trouble with the boiler.

Location was good and unbelievably good value and the staff were amazing. Staff members were friendly especially the hotel manager and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back. Exceptional good value for money, comfortable bed, big room and a great breakfast.

Perfect position next to the start of the SWCP. Also the nicer part of Minehead. Room had everything we needed and despite there being a band on we didn’t hear anything. The lovely staff did us a sandwich for our breakfast as we were leaving early.

Also would have liked to spend evening in the bar but couldn't because of very loud karaoke singer during the evening. If you're singing over pre recorded backing tapes then that's karaoke in my opinion. I was a professional drummer.

Tolle Lage direkt auf dem South West Coast Path. Tolles Pub in dem man ein gutes Dinner und auch ein sehr leckeres Frühstück bekommt. Die Zimmer war auch schön eingerichtet. Personal war sehr freundlich!

Breakfast was superb. Location is wonderful. Room was good size. Bed very comfortable. Shower great. Pub shut about 10 & was very quiet.

Room decor was very dated, dark blue walls, old cupboards etc but perfectly adequate & excellent price. The fire door at the top of the steps opened onto the steps which was awkward & a bit dangerous

My room was big and airy and the bed was also big and comfortable. Good TV ( not usually a TV Watcher but was feeling lazy). Nice breakfast and very nice staff serving. Great location for the start of the South West Costal Path.

It’s a bit tired and worn and needs some TLC. Didnt eat dinner or use the bar so cant comment. Free parking is a bit confusing ( not that there was any). Pervading smell of the kitchen when I arrived.

Breakfast was brilliant. So much choice that everyone was happy. Drinks in the bar were good value. Excellent location. I have read that this listed building has also been given the go ahead for some work to be done which can only make it even better.

Parking was a bit of an issue. Nothing available next to the pub, there was limited spaces but already taken, we did arrive on a sunny Sunday afternoon though.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. We were lucky enough to have breakfast, lunch and dinner here and it was all AMAZING! Couldn't fault the food at all, everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfect! The staff were absolutely incredible, from the bar staff to the hostess that checked us in to the wait staff - everyone was so friendly and pleasant which made our stay much more enjoyable!! Thank you all for a fab stay - will definitely come back and recommend to anyone staying in Minehead!

We evidently got ourselves a bargain here at £80! - Great sized room with a large bed. - Fantastic views, lovely location and nice to be able to sit out and enjoy that. - Generous sized TV with a comfortable area to sit and enjoy. - Lots of storage in the room although the wardrobe had only 3 hangers. - Beautiful breakfast; both cooked and continental.

- The room is quite tired with dings, scrapes and a very dirty carpet from the balcony entrance. - Small bathroom with low shower pressure. - Only blinds which resulted in a light room in the morning. A room this large and grand needs curtains. - Better quality bedding; pillows especially were flat. - Lighting was poor in that the bedside tables were dull and there wasn't anything else in the room other than the ceiling light. A corner standard lamp would be useful.

Good location. Great food and selection of beers. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent.

The room was quite basic and the en-suite was very cramped, although it was clean and beds were comfortable and adequate for one night.

Everything was great from the warm welcome to checkout. Every member of saff was absolutely fabulous. Great energy and welcoming to everyone. Location was lovely. Well kept ales 😋 Delicious evening meal and great breakfast choices. Comfy bed++. Many guests staying but didn't hear a peep from the other guests or the bar from the room. Had a great stay and didn't want to leave.

Needed a shelf or hook in the ensuite for toiletries/washbag.

Tucked away in the corner of the bay, this was a lovely, cheerful inn offering everything you'd expect in such a place. For the price, it offered excellent value. Our twin room was clean, comfortable, and had very comfy beds. Food was delicious, with generous portions of classic pub favourites. Having a tasty breakfast included was a welcome bonus. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with great value, good food, and excellent hospitality. I'd happily stay there again.

The only small downside was a bit of background noise in the evening, possibly from a kitchen fan or AC unit. I'm a light sleeper, so I noticed it, but it wasn't particularly disruptive and seemed to be switched off around 11 pm.

De locatie! Personeel is erg vriendelijk. Het hotel kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Vooral de vloerbedekking en de luchtverversing. De schoonmaak kan beter.

De hygiëne, de keuken, geen airco. De kamer was redelijk schoon, echter, het meubilair en de deuren plakken en de vloerbedekking in de kamer, gang en op de trap is ontzettend vies. Er hing op de gang en in het trappenhuis een vieze vette baklucht. Het eten wordt vooral gefrituurd, je moet er van houden. En kom niet aan met dat u teleurgesteld bent, want u weet dondersgoed dat het niet okee is.

Nos instalamos en la habitación y cuando estábamos fuera cogieron nuestras pertenencias sin permiso y las cambiaron de habitación, lo cual es una violación de intimidad grave. Había objetos sueltos muy personales como pijama, cepillo de dientes, toalla usada y lo tocaron todo. Está denunciado.

The lifeboat station was very noisy, slamming doors and very bright lights. The Old Ship Aground had no control over this.
