Mountain views, great breakfast and employees very accommodating nice

Quiet, rural location with stunning views of the mountains. Owner was very personable and helpful. Breakfasts were exceptional. Friendly atmosphere. Comfortable beds and chairs. Fan was very much appreciated.

The lodge is gorgeous, well maintained, in a great location and very quiet perfect for resting. The service is wonderful, everyone is very friendly but the absolute highlight was the breakfast. It was incredible!

Beautiful cabin with fire pit and grill—loved it!

The chalet was so charming and comfortable. We loved just sitting in and reading in evenings. The breakfast was superb! Overall, it’s a great base to explore golden and the surrounding areas.

We loved our stay at Moberly Lodge, the whole place is magnificent! The Lodge itself is the most beautiful big log cabin, the room was all we needed for a short stay, the outdoor Hot tub was beautiful to sit in and watch the snow fall, and the breakfasts were delicious! Lucille is an amazing Host!

The breakfast was amazing, the views out of our room were fantastic.

This was a last minute booking for us. We were traveling the canadian rockies and were in golden and this was the only place left. The staff is wonderful and the place is clean. Keep in mind there is no TV, no fridge, no microwave. But for those seeking the bed and breakfast experience you will love this place, it is beautiful.

This place, the staff, the food and THE LOCATION are absolutely fantastic! Breakfast was stunning and freshly prepared each morning. Nancy was so nice and helpful, we couldn’t thank her enough. Very good chance we’ll be back here in a few years and we’d probably stay longer.

If the rooms had a TV and a refrigerator, it would be 10/10 (communal TV and refrigerator available). The location is a drive from town, so if you want a night on the town prepared for a premium priced local taxi - we didn’t bother, too exhausted from our days out exploring. We didn’t bother eat in town and there are a few brilliant places to eat and drink in downtown. Loved the place!

A good address if you want a rest in nature and a beautiful house and surrounding ! Also room and beds were nice and the patio simply great, except for some moskitos... Breakfast was splendid, first a mouthwatering presentation, second from its taste and composition and last but not least a good portion ! Congratulations. We would come again.

The room is rather small, and some smaller things like laydown space could be improved.

The cabins are very cute and idillic but just didn’t feel justified for the price we paid, especially during the summer. The kitchen has everything you could need and we enjoyed the board games and comfortable bed! Beautiful stay just overpriced for the level of comfort and amenities.

Le petit déjeuner était trop minimaliste, pas de buffet et n était pas suffisant. La chambre était trop petite, on passait notre temps à marcher sur les valises et sur nos affaires. Trop de moustiques qui nous dévoraient à chaque sortie de voiture. Pas de service de chambre journalier. Pas de frigo dans la chambre. Les prises la plupart de fonctionnaient pas (pas de courant). Un mini petit gel douche de 10 ml pour 2 personnes pour 3 jours ?? Les équipements (savon, gel douche …) n’étaient pas suffisants. Trop de bruit le matin à partir de 6h30 on étaient réveillés de notre gré à cause du bruit et des personnes qui parlaient à la réception aucune isolation.

Das Holzbohlenhaus ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und schön, aber man hat einen wunderbaren großen Aufenthaltsraum. Die Inhaber sind sehr nett und immer erreichbar. Sie geben tolle tagesaktuelle Tipps, wo es sich am besten wandern lässt. Das Frühstück haben wir vor Ort zugebracht. Es war sehr lecker. Jeden Tag wurde etwas anderes frisch zubereitet. Ein herrlicher ruhiger Ort im Grünen. Bis Golden fährt man ca. 10 min.

Sehr schöne Lodge etwas außerhalb von Golden. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr sauber.

Für den hohen Preis hätte ich Housekeeping erwartet. 800 Euro für 3 Nächte.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft im Blockhausstil, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und jeden Tag gab es etwas anderes. Der Hot Tub lohnt sich auch und war ein tolles Extra.

An sich war es sauber, nur der Fußboden wurde wahrscheinlich vergessen zu putzen.

The property is in a remote peaceful location, Everything about the lodge including the service, is first class. Definitely recommend. And the breakfast are superb.

We liked about everything. If I could rate this higher, I totally would! Great location, the nicest hosts imaginable, the most delicious breakfast ever! I would book this all the time!

That we didn't stay longer and that it's too far away from where we live! ;-)

Highly recommend staying here. Beautiful and peaceful stay and room 6 opened up to a quiet and somewhat secluded section of the wraparound deck which made for a relaxing place to sit after a day full of adventures. The food was amazing and prepared for us each morning by Lucille and Nancy and our gracious hosts took great care of us while we were there. You should check it out.

Stayed there with my friends for a photo trip and it was the best part. We stayed in the cabin so all had our own beds. That place had everything you could want for a nice Banff stay… maybe except a TV … we needed to watch our twilight saga … WiFi might also be a bit hard to get but not a dealbreaker at all… plus you would get off your phone anyways hahah

The cabin was great, comfortable, quiet & felt very calm. The firepit with adirondack chairs gave the place much more charm. This property was cleaned & maintained very nicely. The staff were so friendly! I would definitely book here again.

Very cozy and calm place in the middle of the woods, 10min drive from Golden. Excellent breakfast offered. We really enjoyed staying here!

The location is fine.

We prepaid 400 CAD per night, drove 5 hours and the owner told us to get out because our puppy was with us. We tried to explain that Booking confirmed pet friendly stay and then he said he doesn’t care about what Booking say. We asked if we could use a washroom and his response was there is no public washroom in the hotel, so nice and hospitable he is

It’s lovely

The breakfast was amazing - Lucille is a great cook! Egg benedict on a cheese and chives waffle - delicious! Also a lovely morning yoghurt with fruit. Hot tub was a nice touch.

The shower cubicle was a bit small and the water pressure not great.

We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge is beautiful and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and Lucille made a great breakfast!

This property was such a lovely place to stay outside of town for a mountain escape. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, her hospitality was above and beyond. We look forward to reccomending this destination to our friends!

A fridge in the room & ability to warm up snacks would be great

I can’t say to much negative about the property however one nice future improvement for guests would be to have a ski locker/board storage on the front porch this would make it more convenient rather then having to bring the gear in a leaning them up inside to dry and then having to clean up and water left from equipment.

Fantastic breakfast second morning, they gave us two delicious eggs during the day, outdoor facilities all looked great, nice welcome email. Seems like a nice property. Scraped our windshield in the morning after an icy night.

Many flies buzzing around inside when we arrived, I spent an hour+ killing about 10 which was not my favorite use of vacation time, we politely complained about this and hosts didn't respond. Didn't provide breakfast the first morning even though we paid for it, I guess we were supposed to ask... Blinds didn't fully cover 2 windows in bedroom so privacy was somewhat compromised. Wifi was pretty bad.

We had a chance to stay in the Colombia Cabin and it was so beautiful! The cabin was so simple and cozy and the mountain views were gorgeous. We can't wait to stay again!

Breakfast was a work of art! Blueberry French toast, sausage links and home made blueberry yogurt! The host was so welcoming and our room was very clean with plenty of extra fresh fluffy towels in the bathroom. Nice and quiet but easy access to the highway. Recommend!

Fabulous cabin in a stunning location in the mountains and woods above Golden. Great location for visiting several national parks and having Golden nearby for handy shopping etc (lot more convenient and accessible than busy Banff). The cabin was extremely well fitted out and beautifully designed. We loved the peace and quiet plus we could BBQ on the balcony set amongst the woods.

Felt in the middle of nowhere, which was great although reality a town is just down the road. Breakfast was lovely and room comfortable.

Mosquitoes were everywhere and known to be by the owners that that time of year and day - it would have been great to have some plug ins or deterrent in the room, and around the property. As soon as you parked and got out, you were covered.

Amazing cabin stay! Beautiful area and convenient to parks and dining options.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable and very well stocked with dishes, pans, and spices. I was only in the front entrance of the lodge but it looked beautiful and like it would be well worth a stay if you only needed a room. And being dog friendly in the cabins was a huge bonus.

Wow was that expensive - and the bed was horrible. Too small and way smaller than stated in the description plus if I / my partner just slightly moved during the night, the other one was immediately awake and had to take care not falling out of bed - it was like on an air mattress

The location is just stunning and Lucille and the team made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I have food allergies and Lucille ensured all my food met my needs and was delicious. The room was lovely and it was ideal location to go explore the beautiful lakes and trails around and return with ease. We would definitely stay again.

The only issue was the amount of mosquitoes in the area at the time we were visiting, which is not under the control of the lodge. Otherwise excellent facilities, and wonderful hosts. Due to an error on the expedia site, we were told that breakfast was provided when in fact this is not a service they provide, but they felt bad and provided us with freshly baked, warm, delicious strawberry scones that more than made up for the error.

Loved this hidden gem spot so much! Beautiful cabins, nicely decorated, very clean, comfortable beds. Peaceful and quiet location, friendly owners and staff. Enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful mountain view.

The lodge is pure magic, it took me back to my infancy.

WiFi connection might be slightly bad, but anyways you get to understand that WiFi is not important where you arrive there.

Beautiful view of the mountain. Quiet. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and had their own walk out to the main floor terrace with chairs. Breakfast was very good. Only thing is that we did not know the power went out at night so was a little caught off guard with that. Overall very happy with our experience and would come back again.

I felt pampered. I didn’t want to leave.

Our room was up the stairs with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The chairs with Ottomans has a curate coffee pot in between with nice glass coffee cups.

Moberly Lodge is set just outside of Golden in beautiful surroundings. The room itself was well apportioned with a comfy bed with a decent en-suite bathroom. We only stayed a night but was a fantastic experience.

Very comfy accommodation a a modern block house. Rooms were bright and nice, common sitting room with a big fire place was great. The house is located idyllically in the woods with a big patch of lawn around. Breakfast was also great and lovingly made.

Hot tub (towels and robes available), fire pit (wood ready to go) breakfast option. All the nice touches and beautiful furnishings. So quiet and peaceful!

We only stayed one night in the Columbia Cabin and we loved it and would love to come back again and would book for more than one night. Cabin was stocked well and very comfortable for our family of 4. The property is very private and easy to find driving from Golden. Soft linens and towels. Wished we had time to enjoy the fire pit but enjoyed the BBQ on our front deck, amazing views!
