Location was convenient for accessing metro transport to the airport - M11 line, and other routes into the city centre, its about a 10 minute walk, the area feels quite commercial, but has plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Staff were helpful too and gave me a free room upgrade as it wasn't busy.

Some of the facilities were quite dated, but it was sufficient for a quick stay and an early start to the airport.

Ik heb een super verblijf gehad in Payidar. Het personeel was erg behulpzaam, heel vriendelijk en gaf me een erg welkom gevoel. De kamers zijn basic maar meer dan voldoende voor wat ik nodig had. Heel schoon, een goed bed en een goede douche. Het hotel was een goede uitvalsbasis voor mijn activiteiten dat weekend in Istanbul. Heel fijn ook dat er een 24-uursreceptie is.

Een bedlampje had ik handig gevonden, dat ontbrak in mijn kamer. Maar dat is maar een klein detail.

Staff were very friendly. I could ask for whatever I need and they were very helpful.

Расположение отеля неплохое. 15 минут пешком до станции метро Gayrettepe( прямая ветка в аэропорт), рядом много кафе, магазинов, банков, хороший район. Персонал на рецепшен контактный. На этом достоинства отеля заканчиваются

Лифта в отеле нет. С тяжелым чемоданом по лестнице подниматься сложно. Размер комнаты не соответствует заявленному, от силы там 12 метров, 25 метров там нет!!! Комнаты в отеле для проживания не пригодны-грязные, на эти кровати страшно ложиться, постельное белье уже было в употреблении , кто то на нем спал...,холодильники не работают, чайника, стаканов нет. Балкон , на который есть выход из номера, грязный, с кучей окурков, полотенца вонючие. Я такого негативного отзыва еще не писала.

Schimmel in de douche. Geen hotelfaciliteiten geen ontbijt, geen koffie niets. Ook niet op de kamer. . Moeten vragen om afval op te ruimen en schone handdoeken.

Местоположение очень хорошее. Спокойное место без шума и суеты. До метро мин 15 пешком, отель расположен между двумя станциями. От Таксима относительно недалеко. Персонал неплохой. На стойке обслуживал дружелюбный парень Шенер.

Номера немного прокуренные. В целом нормально. Не хватает электрочайника.

De locatie van dit hotel is perfect! Er zijn veel faciliteiten in de buurt. Je kan lopend naar de drukke winkelstraat en winkelcentrum Cevahir. Metrostation is op ongeveer 10 minuten loopafstand en makkelijk te bereiken. Het hotel is in een rustige straat waardoor je geen last hebt van de drukte in de buurt. Daarnaast is het een rustige hotel met vriendelijke/behulpzame personeel. Zeker een aanrader! Wij komen hier zeker terug!

De kamers zijn toe aan een opknapbeurt.

Clean room, in quiet area, staff very kind. Check-in possible after midnight too (24h reception). Not far from metro M11 to airport (European), close to bus station to the centre.

There was issue with hot water 1day, but it has been fixed.

The hotel was in a nice location with a short walk to the metro. The room was a nice size.

It is a nice hotel. It has a great location and it is very clean. The staff were great, friendly and helpful.

Nothing, worst hotel ever

Worst hosting, not kind staff, not clear communication. The room was not clean and so bad as well, i must say not to stay here. Even i asked some small request, and the hotel totally ignored without explanation. I sincerely say not to stay at this hotel.

Given the low rate, the property is good for rest. The restroom is clean but has a bit of odor probably due to the sewer system.

Serkar and Serdat were extremely polite and kind in their relationship and service towards guests. I really appreciate their willingness to help in every question. I’ll come for sure in this hotel.

Tutto. Le persone sono molto gentili e accoglienti. Un posto meraviglioso e pulito. Ti trattano come un famiglia. Ti danno il tè è il caffè e l’acqua. Personalmente io mi sono trovato benissimo e ci verrei un’altra volta a ritrovare Serkan e altre persone 🙂

Location to amenities.

Clean, spacious and comfortable. Receptionists were also very helpful. Mr Sener was polite and professional, he made sure everything was smooth. I was also given a room upgrade free of charge.

quite clean room with a big balcony. the staff was really nice. they even packed some sandwiches for us, 'cause we checked out early in the morning.

A good place to stay with Sener being very helpful and hospitable while staying there.

It is a very clean place in a very quiet area, perfect for resting, relaxing and even for a longer connection flight, as it is not so far from the underground station coming from Istanbul airport (the big one, European side). Warmly recommend it and i will book it again when visiting Istanbul.

They originally messed up the rooms but were very quick to upgrade us and both beds were very comfortable. The maid came every day to give us water, new towels and a clean, unfortunately she didn’t speak a word of English so it was really difficult to request anything or tell her we didn’t need someone. Tip! If you need more toilet roll make sure you say paper as they thought we were asking for a new toilet bowl. They were more than happy for us to have groceries delivered to the room rather than their service (nothing against their cooking it was just cheaper to get 3 bags of food/water than to have 1 meal). The hotel was right around the corner from a Starbucks (literally a 30sec walk) and only a 15min walk to the town centre (photos provided). Honestly, I’m not a picky person, I didn’t come to Turkey to pick nick where I was staying, I went for the country and their architecture and for a surgery.

The breakfast was quite limited (bread, jam, juice, a very small bowl of cereal, cucumber, cheese and scrambled eggs), I didn’t mind this but incase you’re expecting something a little more. The water stopped quite a few times whilst we were here, so some days we had to go without brushing our teeth/shower until we got back. The bathroom had water stains under sink, mirror and shower glass (again didn’t mind too much as we were using these daily so we cleaned them anyways), the AC was a little temperamental as some days we’d be freezing from how well it worked and others we’d have to take 3-4 cold showers as it didn’t work. It was also in a timer so would cut off in the night and we’d wake up sweating. The mosque was 3-4 properties over so at first we were woken up every few hours but by the end it become white noise and we’d be up waiting for it so we could sleep.

The check in time was 14:00, but Serkan allow me to enter the room at 12:00. thank you for this

Location was great, very near the route of the airport bus. The staff were very friendly / accommodating, and they were kind enough to upgrade me from a single to a double bed free of charge which was awfully kind. I would recommend this to anyone in need of somewhere to crash for the night, bedrooms were nice and clean and were great value for money.

The only drawbacks I can think of were: - The Wi-Fi in my room was pretty awful and kept turning off so it was fairly unreliable. - Breakfast was a little lack-lustre. Cost the same as upgrading from a single to a double bed and for the cost (which granted was only €5) you could get a lot more at the cafe down the road which I ended up doing. Otherwise a very positive stay.

Sener bey was so kind and fix all my queries shortly. You should spare some time to talk with him to understand sociology of Turkey. I really enjoyed.

Serkan at the reception was super helpful. The location was central and the room was comfy.

The breakfast was okay. Walking distance from some shops.

There were lots of ants in the room! Hairs on the bed and floor and also in the bathroom. Hadn't been swept properly. Shower didn't work properly and also flooded bathroom floor making it dangerous to use bathroom until it had dried up. No control over central heating which came on every night and was roo warm. Remote control for air con unit missing so had to climb up to switch it on/off (after having had surgery) and no manual temp control so stuck to 22⁰ every time. Asked receptionist for remote, hot water and spare pillow and none came. Room was not cleaned, nor any fresh bedding/towels were not supplied for the first week. Cleaners knocked on day 8 when I was about to leave! Phone number provided for reception did not work. View from room stated as city/garden view but it was neither. Ended up changing my flight to leave early due to the state of it. No refund/compensation offered from hotel and they tried to make excuses like I was lying.

Preis zur Einrichtung entsprechend . Nicht so ansprechend..mit Familie nicht ideal, als Alleinreisender als günstige Möglichkeit ausreichend.

faulty toilet in the first room we were put in, then moved to a new room because of this where fridge was faulty. stayed for a week and bins were never emptied

I had a pleasant stay at this place, the space was really quiet, and the staff is very dynamic and always present. The rooms and the dining room are very clean. I can not wait to return to. I strongly recommend this place, you will not regret it because PAYIDAR HOTEL has the best value for money.

Bellman very helpful

So I've just recently stayed at the Payidar Hotel in Gülbahar for 10 days and the room was only cleaned once during our stay, the maids weren't very nice and tended to stay on their phones. We ended up having to fill bin bags of rubbish and take them downstairs along with dirty towels to receive dry 'clean' towels that were covered in yellow stains. The hotel staff didn't apologise or have any excuse for not cleaning. I'd like to add I've just had major surgery and stayed in the hotel for rest as it's local to the hospital I received surgery for so naturally you expect clean. I understand there is a language and culture barrier but surely customer service and general hygiene is still standard. The floors weren't brushed, the shower had blocked by hair by customers beforehand. I think something was wrong with the drain as it soaked the floor. Luckily my partner and I hadn't slipped. When we were in the room as they were doing their one clean, they gave us unpleasant looks and made us uncomfortable. We offered to leave and they shook their heads. It felt like we were inconveniencing them anytime we asked for things like hot water for tea as there's no kettle in the room. (One of the reasons we booked is because a kettle was photographed as an amenity), there was one member of staff who was really polite and even though there was a language barrier that didn't make us feel like us staying there was a nuisance to them.
