They cancelled my reservation just one day before my arrival and forced me to make a new booking at a higher price. During my stay, I asked several times for basic items for the room, such as a shower cap, but they were never brought to me. The toilet also became clogged several times, and despite reporting the issue, it was not properly fixed. I am really not someone who usually complains, but unfortunately, this time the overall experience and level of service were very disappointing.

Comfortable beds, quiet room, very nice people at the front desk and working in the restaurant. Easy access to public transportation or within walking distance to other restaurants and some of London's main attractions.

The lighting system in the room was very confusing and annoying.

Right from the moment we walked to reception, we were met with an offer of water (frequently). However the queue was very long and slow which was unfortunate as we only wanted to drop our bags and 30 minutes was spent in the queue. Once checked in (which was smooth for us), we dropped bags and met our family. The hotel is very central so perfect for us and is spotless, great facilities, and perfect to chill in between sightseeing.

The entire experience was lovely. Staff were incredibly helpful and thoughtful. On arrival we found a little baby wash bag and little soft toy awaiting him and a full fridge of goodies. Very thoughtful and wonderful thank you so much. Breakfast was delicious and huge selection. If I come back to London I won't choose anywhere else.

The people below us who didn't quite appreciate the toddlers feet being a wee bit loud on the floor. Oops.

Toilet fell off the wall, problems with electrical circuits not working, no hot water in shower. Staff wasn't helpful although they were friendly

Arya was fantastic! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and had a great sense of humor that made the whole stay more fun. She gave thoughtful recommendations when we couldn't decide what to order for drinks. It's clear she genuinely cares about giving people a good experience. She turned a regular drinks into a really enjoyable one. Ask for Arya if you can — you won't be disappointed!

Great location for what we needed to finish our European holiday. 4 nights in clean, comfortable and easily accessible hotel. The staff on the front desk were always very helpful each and every question or query we had. We could easily walk home from our activities during the day and evening.

We enjoyed our vacation trip here to the Hilton Bankside. The front staff was very quick and accommodating. We arrived early after our morning flight from the US. Although they were not able to get us a room immediately, they did text us by 1pm letting us know the room was ready. One of the desk clerks then brought us our bags directly to the room. We had an executive room, and the staff at the lounge was great (Yen, Harsha, and Kevin) - very prompt, courteous and professional. They were always busy either helping the guests at their tables, drink area, or food area. The rooms are a bit dark, but there is bright lighting at the desk. Overall, we would recommend - a good location to many of the sights in London. We would recommend it.

Pretty good experience. Stayed 4 nights. Location was great. No complaints there. Was upgraded to an Executive room with my Diamond status. Executive lounge was busy every night, but the staff was fantastic, especially Harsha! He was very attentive. Definitely a solid hotel. My only problem was the elevator system, to get to my floor you could only use 2 of the 3 elevators, and one was out of service the whole trip, so when I wanted to go to the room, if the wrong elevator was at the lobby, I would have to find an employee to come send it off so that the one elevator that was available would be triggered to come to the lobby. 🥴 It also made it really difficult to leave in the morning, I waited a solid 10 minutes for the elevator to arrive and bring me down, and missed my train to Stonehenge. So minus one star for the elevator, otherwise I was happy.

Was soll's? Die großzügige Überlassung der Zimmerbar hat täglich ein kleines stilles Mineralwasser im Kühlschrank ergeben. Da hätte der Kühlschrank eine großzügigere Behandlung verdient.

We had such a lovely experience at the Executive Lounge. Terence and Kachatu were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. They were especially sweet to our child and even gave our child some sweets, which was such a lovely gesture. Their warm hospitality and genuine kindness made our stay at Hilton London Bankside even more special. Thank you so much, Terence and Kachatu — we really appreciated everything you did for our family!

By go to London Hilton. Great staff. I love the location, short walk to ST Paul's. The executive lounge at the hotel is excellent. The Italian gentleman who is in charge can't be any more helpful. Brilliant breakfast

Nathan, my favorite bartender at the Distillery in the London Hilton Bankside, is amazing. He guided me on my journey of single malt discovery this past Saturday. Thanks to Nathan, I'll be searching for that 14 year old bottle of Oban when I return home.

We had a fantastic stay at Hilton London Bankside and would definitely recommend it, especially for families. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and is very family-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the Distillery Bar, which was warm and welcoming with excellent service. A special mention has to go to Joy, who looked after us brilliantly and really added to our experience. Breakfast was another highlight — a fantastic, wholesome buffet with a great selection and plenty of choice for the whole family. A brilliant London hotel with great facilities, a welcoming atmosphere and, most importantly, wonderful staff. We’d happily stay again! ⭐️

I enjoyed eating at the restaurant. We had diner after a long flight, and It was satisfying, since it was already in the Hotel and it did not require making a reservation or walking outside of the Hotel. I enjoyed the taste of coffee in the morning for Breakfast.

It was confusing not to have two rooms on the same floor, since my family required two rooms, I was offered two different floors, using elevator was inconvenient while going back and force. I was told not to book through third party, since Hotel cannot make any changes to my reservation, and my two rooms were placed on two different floors. The other confusion was about promising me extra points for not using cleaning services, or for not asking towel exchange, by doing so we save the planet - since reducing chemicals while not doing extra laundry ( for linen & towels) apparently, it was not true. I did not get any extra points, since that rule - promise was canceled prior to my arrival.

As a family of 4 with tweens/teenagers we chose this hotel for the interconnecting rooms and were not disappointed. The rooms were modern, clean and beds comfortable. The welcome slushie on arrival was a nice touch and appreciated on a hot day. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in a convenient location with close proximity to the Tube, supermarkets and Borough Market. Breakfast was great.

Nitpicking but proper coffee (not from a machine) at breakfast would be nice.

Perfect location. Close to Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge, and several restaurants and coffee shops. You could do a lot within the vicinity. Rooms were very clean and they even offered turn-down service. Room service was quite classy too. In/out was secure with card operated lifts, if security is important to you. Hotel staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, yet professional and knowledgeable.

No firm pillows so poor sleep (asked twice and nearly all other chains have them). Seemed a fault in the rooms light wiring that meant the toilet light could only be switched on with entry lobby area also on.

Yataklar son derece rahattı ve Havlular ise şimdiye kadar bir otelde gördüğüm en yeni ve kaliteli havlulardı diyebilirim. Londra otellerinde odaların küçük olmasıyla ilgili pek çok yorum okumuştum ancak bizim odamız oldukça genişti. Üç kişi olarak son derece rahat konakladık. Kahve makinesi ve dolu minibar da bizi ayrıca memnun etti. Personel son derece güler yüzlü, ilgili ve yardımseverdi. Sorduğumuz her soruyla sabırla ve detaylı şekilde ilgilendiler. Staff here are always brilliant. Wonderful service and genuine welcome. Rooms are spotless and the new rooms are beautiful if you are fortunate enough to get one of those! Pool is great and usually quiet. Daniel on concierge went above and beyond just to get me into a cab, but it's the little things that mean a lot.

Excellent location, rooms were clean and the service was excellent! Rooms were quiet during the night and the general atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant. Extra point for Mihael at the concierge! Helped us with everything throughout our stay!

Everyone was wonderfully accommodating, especially David, Micro, and Nour. The A/C was crucial in the heat of July, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Good location. Housekeeping and check in and check out staff were nice.

Health and safety concern and unsatisfactory handling from management. If you have any allergies, asthma or similar conditions, I would be very cautious about staying here. We stayed for two nights. After the first night, both guests experienced respiratory allergy type symptoms, including coughing, wheezing, congestion, difficulty breathing and irritated eyes. My friend has asthma and was particularly affected. The symptoms eased during the day when we were away from the room, but returned during the second night with more intensity. We also noticed a moth in the room on few occasions. We raised the issue at checkout after the second night when the pattern was clear and were told the hotel needed to investigate before any resolution could be considered. After we followed up, the hotel said checks had been carried out, no “evidence” had been found, and there had been no similar complaints before, so there was nothing further they could do. This did not feel like an adequate response to an issue that directly affected our health and safety during the stay. We were told that an external inspection would be arranged, but the later correspondence appeared to refer to checks by the hotel team instead. Allergy or air quality checks would need to carried out by a specialist and no such evidence or reports of such a test being carried out were provided to us. Internal correspondence attached to their email also demonstrated an urgency to close the case regardless of our experience. No compensation or goodwill gesture was offered despite the health concern, discomfort and inconvenience caused. We are extremely disappointed in how this was handled and the matter remains unresolved from our perspective.

What a fabulous weekend we just spent at Hilton Bankside Hotel. The hotel is in a brilliant location to explore London just a short walk from Southwark Tube station and 10 mins walk to London Southbank. The hotel is located in a much more less hectic area of London and the area about the hotel it’s very nice. The hotel has a Sainsbury’s and Tesco Express directly outside. On arrival the hotel is clearly very modern and welcoming and the check in process was very quick and efficient. The hotel upgraded our room complimentary which was a nice start to the weekend. We had booked a King Room and were upgraded to the King Delux. The hotel is spotless and on entering the room it was so nice to feel the lovely cool aircon which was welcomed due to it being such a hot day in London. The room was lovely and spacious and very modern and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. Bathroom was large with an amazing shower and lovely toiletries. We really enjoyed the room it was amazing and for London it was huge. Breakfast at the hotel is simply amazing!! One of the best breakfast spreads I have ever seen in a hotel and it’s well worth the money so if your wondering whether to add it to your stay I would say yes 100% it’s worth every single penny. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was so nice and helpful so thank you. But overall this is a 10 out of 10 hotel and it has a fabulous pool you can use. Location you couldn’t beat and so easy to get about and see London from.

What a fantastic stay! The booking process was simple and straightforward, and we received a warm welcome at check-in from Samuel on reception. Our room was spacious, comfortable, but the view was of a brick wall. No real need for a window in this room 🙈🤣. However I love the hotel and the swimming pool and gym facilities are perfect. The breakfast provided a great selection in a welcoming atmosphere and the exec lounge is one of the best in London with proper food served in the evenings, as most just give you small Nibbles which is never enough! The bar had a great atmosphere and ample of staff that made you feel welcomed. A special thank you to Yen and Domenico who always had a smile and delivered great service. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended! 👍

We arrived from another hotel in London and it was chalk and cheese.right from the moment that Daniel the Doorman greeted us we felt special! Daniel throughout our stay was exceptional with helping us with places to visit,our luggage and just about everything we asked! The staff all together were fantastic,rooms were clean and spacious. Thank you all we will be back!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Bankside Hilton in London. The rooms were a very nice size and clean. We loved the Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries and the turndown service. Such a nice touch! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention for Miro, who was helpful, kind and such a nice guy. He saved us in a pinch! :) Note- We were there during the heat wave, and the AC was much appreciated. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate the heat. They had free water and slushies on our arrival to help with hydration. Kudos to Hilton Bankside! We hope to be back one day!

Hilton zetas at bankside were so lovely and accommodating. Daniel the doorman was an absolute Gem, he helped us with our suitcases, made us feel so welcomed after a 30 hour journey to London from Australia, he always checked to see how we were, if we needed anything. We got washing done externally and they brought back our washing to our rooms. We would 💯 stay here again - they are amazing with families especially from our personal experience with travelling with an asd child, they were so accomodating and made sure our room was ready when we checked in. Even house keeping was great too. All the staff acknowledge you day and night. Daniel the doorman though he is a true credit to Hilton Bankside and the face of the hotel. So nice, so helpful, and we stayed in a beautiful room that was just recently opened. My man Miro is amazing! The beds were super comfortable and all the staff really helpful. The room was a great size for Central London. The executive lounge had range of snacks and drinks, including champagne. Hotel breakfast had a great variety and good quality. Could be my preferred spot at southwark .

Nothing it was great

Its been a while, but finally back to the Bankside and experienced their new hotel rooms which are fresh and bright. Always nice to see some familiar faces- with Daniel's pancakes at breakfast, Daniel & John at the front desk cheery and happy. Meanwhile, in the executive lounge, Yen is as fantastic and happy as ever with Terrence and Domenico! Always nice to come back to the Bankside

Great rooms and service! The doorman named Daniel in particular was incredibly kind and helpful. He answered any questions my family had for him and was very knowledgeable about the area. He was especially helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Only a 7 minute walk from the tube and a nice area. Highly recommend.

Daniel the doorman was exceptional! He immediately helped us with our bags on arrival and even got us a glass of prosecco during our check in. Every time we were in the lobby he was very nice and made sure that we didn’t need anything. He also offered to take our picture while we were taking pictures in the lobby. Also, he gave us slushies as we checked out and made sure we had arrangements to get to the airport. The most striking thing that was so nice was that he remembered us from our stay last summer.

The customer service is TERRIBLE!!! We were finishing breakfast and one of the employees told us we needed to hurry up because they were waiting for us so they could clear the table. I thought we could have been asked kindly, but we weren’t. We changed rooms and they said our luggage would be delivered to our new room. It was not. We had to wait for them to locate the luggage and bring it up to our room. This caused a delay in our evening plans. Finally, we moved to a family room. The air conditioning did not work. It was extremely hot in the room. They brought up one fan to try to cool off the room. UNACCEPTABLE, especially when I’m a Hilton gold member! Don’t waste your money staying there…

The pool, lounge, restaurant and the bar.

I’m a Marriott guy (lifetime Platinum) and this was quite the paradox. I stayed here for work 4 nights in June and it was outstanding. Location was great, rooms are modern and appear to be remodeled. The lounge was excellent and the breakfast buffet in the on site restaurant was absolutely superb! Staff here is very professional and attentive. We had 1 elevator down which created some log jams and the WiFi was not great, but everything else was excellent. This is possibly one of the best hotel in London!

One of the nicer Hiltons I’ve stayed at. In room dining is always my measure of a hotel. There’s an in room dining assistant named Vinay who made my entire stay experience better. Fast, friendly, he even gave recommendations for local entertainment. And showed me how to work all the lights and tv. Was more inclined to order in because of it and their late night menu is great. Otherwise the place is clean and upkept, front staff warm and friendly, beds incredibly comfy. Concierge a gem.
