the location is a little out of the way outside of town but easy access to highway. we were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order, but it sometimes can't be helped and did not affect my ratings.

I had no compaints about anything. I have stayed in many places in Kindersley, I am sure the Canalta will be my choice from now on. Change that sad face to a very happy face!!!!

Reviewed May 23, 2026I was storm stayed but love staying at Canalta wherever I am if I can. The staff at Canalta Kindersley were very helpful with my check in and getting my luggage up to my room. The next morning for breakfast they were serving all the ingredients for breakfast tacos as well as strawberry cinnamon waffles which was a treat I haven't found at other hotels. All of the staff were friendly and it was a very pleasant stay despite the not-so-pleasant weather!

Steam room was down, having the pool and hot tub were great though.

The room was set to HOT when we arrived. 27 degrees is too hot. Had to turn on the air conditioning in January to cool it down to be able to sleep. Woke up freezing. Hard to regulate.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Die Unterkunft war sehr Kinderfreundlich. Wir haben gleich eine Tüte mit Malbuch, Stiften und Snacks bekommen. Das Frühstück hatte alles was man braucht. Der Poolbereich war auch schön. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem Restaurant.
Das der Whirpool gesperrt war.

Reviewed Dec 6, 2025Het ontbijt was echt basic en alle morgende hetzelfde. Maar de kamers waren uitstekend en de bedden waren zeer goed. Badkamer was ruim. een perfect hotel voor op doorreis niet voor een lang verblijf. In Kindersley is ook niet veel te zien, we kwamen voor een trouwfeest.
het ontbijt viel wat tegen.

Only other complaint was we found the king sized bed very uncomfortable. This led to a lot of tossing and turning, and subsequently a poor overall sleep.

No mention of the pool being under construction when booking, which was the main reason we booked this hotel. Only had a “pool closed” sign when checking in. The staff was good about it though and adjusted our rate to accommodate the inconvenience.
