Room was clean

No phone signal....no headboard on single bed...creaky floor...no lock on toilet door....heard boiler all night...no soundproof...reception missing in action....4 coathangers for 3 people....wont go back

Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. The single bed is a decent size.

The location is not my favourite but this hotel more than makes up for that.

Location, friendly and welcoming Receptionist.

Very dirty carpet throughout the property and room. Certainly did not look like it had been vacuumed for a long while, sadly it made the place feel “grubby”. The rest however was clean (bathroom and bedding).

Good location with an oblique view of the sea. Excellent breakfast including non-meat options and fresh toast. Plus essential marmalade. Welcoming and helpful staff at reception and breakfast. A big fan was provided in the room. Good step-in shower.

I was prevented from sleeping for a little while as I could hear the television from another room and footsteps of other guests walking about. Once quiet, though, all was fine and a good sleep was enjoyed.

Room was only partially cleaned first day & not at all on second.. very a labelled luxury hotel this is not what I expected. We told reception on second day at 7pm but when we returned at 11pm Room still not cleaned

We got an upgrade, that was nice. Water supplied for tea. That was pleasant. The put our bags in the room. We had a view of the ocean and a little balcony. It was a large room. It had a small fridge.

No air conditioning, no elevator. The mattress was hard. Some people like a hard mattress but it was too hard for me.

Christina was very helpful as my husband is diabetic and was on crutches when we arrived. A mini fridge was placed in the compact room and he only had to go up one staircase,she even carried his overnight bag upstairs for us. All the staff were helpful in the sister hotel where breakfast was served.

That it had a private bathroom and fan in the room. Shower was great. Loved the breakfast option. Definitely worth it!

It felt quite small and the bed also had a dent in it so wasn’t too comfortable. It was fine for the 2 nights.

We had 2 rooms. And basically we were in 2 buildings as they closed the doors at 9 pm. So had to meet up outside.

Location was great. The room was large, the pillows were good and we weren't expecting an outdoor area, so that was a bonus!

We could hear all of the water running down from the above rooms in the pipes outside the window, toilets flushing, baths, showers etc. The mattresses were a bit hard. The outside area was a bonus, but was a bit grubby. It could of been good to know beforehand that we'd have to walk afew doors down for breakfast....in the rain. Service level could have been slightly more personable.

Badly located small room (Hove) in the cellar. No air conditioning. Very small double bed. No fan in the bathroom. If you book breakfast, this is served at another guest house and not at this property. The room was underneath the ground floor, directly below the front door with the window facing the street. The front door was constantly being banged shut, making the room shake and waking us up. There was a constant stream of people walking past the window, which we had to keep open because the room was very hot, It was very noisy. It was the temperature of the room that caused the most discomfort. Because there was no fan in the bathroom the room filled with steam and got even hotter than it already was. There was an electric humidifier in the room but when we turned this on it blew out hot air which is the last thing you want when you’re trying to cool the room down. There was also a fan in the room but again this just moved the hot air around . We had a very uncomfortable couple of days at the Sea Spray hotel. We would not return and DO NOT recommend this place.

The location is perfect for being g near seafront. Also shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The room itself was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast also which was delicious. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

It's not that I didn't like, , but we had to walk less than a minute to another hotel for our breakfast.. The hotel did inform me of this and that hotel was just as lovely, staff just as friendly and as I said typical buffet breakfast but plenty and delicious. Thank you.

Wir hatten das Zimmer im Keller, das Internet und Netz war nicht so gut, ansonsten hatten wir garnichts auszusetzen.

Good location. Portable air con unit in the room. Powerful shower.

Very uncomfortable bed. Sink and shower had brown stains. Missing room amenities. Small towels. Staff were absent throughout the entire stay except check in. Quite expensive for what was assumed to be a luxury hotel stay.

Softer beds, they were very firm.

The facilities, fresh water and towels. The high standard cleansiness of the rooms and hotel in general.

Single room was not able to be viewed before booking by that time it was too late as I booked no refund when to room was displayed after booking it was not like the other rooms shown no aircon and pokey

No hot water for a shower was big disappointment. Parking available outside the location if you can find a spot - I couldn't and had to walk 10 minutes

Die Lager ist super, kurzer weg zum Pier auch alles andere war sehr Zentral. Das Frühstück war im Nebengebäude und war sehr fein und vielfalltig. Die Betten waren bequem, das Bad renoviert, für ein Kellerzimmer sehr angehm.

La habitación era espaciosa y con vistas al mar. La ubicación era estupenda, podías ir a todas partes andando.

Seemed slightly impersonal - like a room in a shared house rather than a hotel. The air conditioning unit was not very effective.

Staff were all exceptionally friendly. The room was lovely, very spacious and great to have the balcony to sit out on. The fridge and fan were very much appreciated.

Second time staying here. Staff are helpful and friendly. Penthouse is lovely and big, comfortable . Jacuzzi bath a bonus. Can't wait to come back. Lovely touch was flower petals on the bed and a note wishing us a happy anniversary.

Bath towels are quite small. Extra touches as its the penhouse could be bath robes.

The location was great.

We booked with friends, paid similar prices and their rooms were double the size of ours. The rooms were very hot. Breakfast was a late start so we were up and out before and we asked if we could get a takeaway breakfast but there was only a bit of fruit available.

We were on the top floor which was really hot in the room but they did supply air con and a fan.

Beautiful view of the sea. Deceptively small outside but the room was big and well proportioned inside. Generous toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. Portable AC and a powerful fan helped with the 2026 heatwaves. Staff were helpful with the luggage store and all other requests. The rooms were close together yet absolutely no noise and no disturbance. The only things keeping us awake were the screaming gulls!

The staff was incredibly welcoming. The space felt clean and safe, and the breakfast had so many wonderful options to choose from!

The location is excellent for reaching the beach and also the lively pedestrian streets. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fan in the room. There was also a water filter. We were told that we were upgraded but I am not sure aboud the upgrade. Possibly a room with a balcony with a sea view. So it was pleasant. The tea and coffee arrangement at the lobby was exquisite!

The balcony was too narrow to sit comfortably but still pleasant. The fan was too noisy. The bathroom was so narrow that you could not wash your face without your bum opening the door!

Great location for pier and walking to the lanes. Spacious room with separate room and bed for daughter. Large bathroom with access to small courtyard.

Good location though a little way out of centre. Staff were friendly enough though at check-in instructions were not clear around breakfast arrangements and luggage facilities.

The duvet needs changing as very stained! We only removed from cover as was humid.

Es war leider sehr warm in dem Zimmer. Wenn man alle Balkontüren geöffnet hat, kam zwar frische Luft rein, aber auch der Stadt-Lärm :) eine Klimaanlage wäre super!

That we couldn't stay longer

It felt homely, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable

My only reason for giving it 9 not 10, I was in the Boudoir room. In the main room you couldn’t close the blackout curtains, it did have shutters but I like the room really dark when I sleep.

Booked a Magnificent sea view, with a description like that expected it to be on the sea front. No side sea view, so the description wasn’t correct. Could hear people upstairs and in the rooms adjacent. Could hear everyone’s shower too. Noisy being near the park too. We were given an air conditioner unit, didn’t work and the back tubing was taped to the unit. Made the room hotter.

Le petit déjeuner était excellent, à base de produits frais et de qualité . Nous avons été surclassées et avons bénéficié d‘une plus grande chambre . L’hôtel est bien situé, pas très loin du centre et près d’une rue avec de nombreux restaurants. Le personnel est très gentil .

Le stationnement est très compliqué. Ce n’est pas forcément évident de pouvoir stationner près de l’hôtel pour décharger les bagages et obtenir le papier pour le stationnement . Et ensuite, il faut trouver une place dans les rues adjacentes .

The room we got was far to small it was tiny for the price we paid it was up four flights of stairs,you should ask your customers there age as there is no lift were we were. Breakfast was good a nice choice of food. No in house manager about at any time. Due to the size of the room allocated to us and the price we paid for it I would not stay here

Room needs a refresh, shower so tiny with poor water pressure. Soundproofing needs work as I could hear rooms next door and upstairs walking around, slamming doors. The receptionist was on the phone for 10 minutes when I arrived as it was only one person on duty.

The room was amazing and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. You had avery varied selection and the staff were excellent.

Prima bed. Bij aankomst bleek wifi heel slecht en de koelkast werkte niet; dit werd de volgende ochtend prima hersteld!

Geen lift en moesten veel trappen op en geen mengkranen op de badkamer.

De kamer was keurig schoon net als de badkamer. Het ontbijt was bij de buren en was oké. Heerlijke bedden!!

Het vinden naar van een parkeerplaats was een uitdaging . Tip reserveer deze via een parkeerapp ruimt tevoren

The shower was quite difficult to operate and I think it had been fitted upside down.

No dressing gowns which are normally supplied … need a larger mat at the door for when you’re coming out of the hot tub to stop bringing water into the room… This is me just being fussy

The room was clean and a great space. Having the child bed outside of the main bedroom was good. Water machine was a nice touch. Breakfast at the sister hotel was really good. Well cooked and a good choice of food. Staff friendly and helpful.

Not being able to pull the curtains across in the main bedroom was really annoying as it meant the room was really light and we had to wear eye masks. More frustrating as the curtains are there but not the rail!

Everything was great. The staff was very nice and helpful about any asked question, the service provided was great with daily change of cups and water refills. The room was great (we had the Venitian Room) with a great space to mov and enjoy the place, but also a large balcony with a seaview. The room was tidy and neat, TV services were excellent and the bathroom was great as well. The location was super, basically on the seafront near the pier and a few minutes walk from the tower and the Royal Pavilion, as well as other services such as stores and buses.

The hotel was superb, the receptionist was welcoming, the room was incredibly clean and spotless, we will certainly arrange for another holiday very soon and hope their will be vacancies

Questo hotel gestito da un altro hotel , che penso non abbia personale per coprire i turni di entrambi credo . Nell’hotel non c’è quasi mai nessuno . Per il check out devi andare all altro hotel . E se non c’è nessuno anche per il check in devi andare all altro hotel

Gute Lage. Möglichkeit den Koffer vor dem „Check in „ aufbewahren zu lassen. Wasserbehälter mit Filter. Gute Pflegeprodukte. Gutes Frühstück. Möglichkeit draußen frühstücken zu können. Teezimmer.

Einfaches Rührei. Keine Information, dass man auch Eier anders bekommen kann. Wenige Vegane Optionen. Nach dem Wochenende waren die Tische draußen nicht vor Frühstücksbeginn eingedeckt, daher musste man länger auf den Tisch und das Personal warten. Kein Räucherlachs. (Das Foto vom Frühstück sollte daher entfernt werden, da es falsche Hoffnungen weckt!) Das Zimmer im Dach ist im Sommer zu heiß, da reichte auch kein Ventilator.
