Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Exceptional stay from start to finish. Korey was a shining light who made our stay wonderful, helped us at check in and became our trusted advisor for all things Buffalo. When we told him we were going to shovel snow at the old Highmark stadium, he arranged for toe warmers, snacks, local beers and some other treats to be brought to us which totally surprised us and absolutely made our stay. The club lounge was great for breakfasts, snacks and drinks. The food and cocktails in Panorama on Seven were of an excellent quality, specifically the Allentown and Loganberry vibes. Rooms were clean and fresh with a great view of the waterfront and lighthouse area. Looking forward to staying here again next time I am in Buffalo.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We were given a wonderful room on the 18th floor with fantastic views of the entire Canalside area and the waterfront, day and night. The location is in the heart of the Canalside area with easy minutes walk to several restaurants, boat rides, Key Center, naval museum, park areas, etc. The staff is absolutely stellar, without exception. Our dinner at Panorama on Seven was delicious with probably the best server we've ever had - I wish I remembered her name,

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026The location is great, however, the lobby the elevator availability, and the gym are in shambles with renovations. This will be nice once it is complete but probably worth staying elsewhere until late 2026 once everything is complete. The reviews on the lounge are favorable. I would agree that it is visually very nice and the staff in the lounge is a highlight. The food quality is middle of the road compared to other peoperties and the coffee maker was broken.

A bit expensive, but worth it that we didn't have to travel anywhere after the concert.

Reviewed Mar 28, 2026A very well run hotel with a great staff from valet at check in to the front desk at check out. Great location with beautiful views of Lake Erie. The restaurant on their 7th floor has a lively bar and is a great spot to eat. I have stayed at two other properties in town (when this wasn't available) and always try to get a room here first. If you stay in other Marriotts, you'll quickly see how excellent this location is to stay.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2025This was a really beautiful hotel and the staff was very friendly and attentive. It has a very large parking garage for onsite parking; so that's a plus as well. It's centrally located in downtown Buffalo; so a good choice for any events in the city you might be visiting. Will definitely stay there again if we return to Buffalo.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2025Rooms are starting to look a bit worn down, not that same fresh, new, clean feeling it had when I started staying years ago. Gym is way too small for the hotel size, and very often doesn't accommodate the amount of folks looking to use it at peak times. Aside from that all is good here, even though things are starting to look worn it's far from the worst when it comes to outdated Marriott and Hilton properties, it has convenient covered parking, great restaurant, decent M lounge (fix the espresso machine! and a poultry based meat for breakfast would be nice), and staff is typically very friendly. This hotel is one of my go to places to stay in the area.
