Really lovely room with great kitchenette...very well equipped. Firm beds with great pillows. Loved the heated underground parking.

Stayed Dec. 21 to 27th. Expected no breakfast buffet on 25th and 26th but was not happy there was no breakfast buffet any day we were there even though the website advertised breakfast included. What was included was a cardboard container with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and tater tots. Cold. Microwave. Same breakfast every single day. Rubber eggs. After complaining a bowl of apples and oranges and yogurt were added. Should have been noted on website when booking.

This was one of the best hotels I have every stayed in! It was comfortable, quiet and the breakfast that is served is better than any I ever had! I highly recommend this hotel!

The only small thing that could have been improved was that the shower could have a better shower head but that is something so small and insignificant.

Very good hotel with very good service. Clean, spacious, well decorated, full and very useful kitchen. Even a small.midroom at the entrance and dishwasher in the fully equipped kitchen. The only hickup was that they only check their mailbox 3 times a week but twll you that too late. If you have annufgent delovery it has to be by fedex or purolator.

Got one of the corner suites this time which was a treat - I enjoyed the door between the bedroom and the main area which was super quiet! I did find the beds in those less comfortable than the usual rooms so pick your battles :)

Top notch breakfast

AC kept going on and off bothering my sleep, even tho while setting the fan to continuous, and it didnèt go below 60 if that would have keep it running. it kept getting little cool and hot, on and off. Pillows were very uncomfortable and high. Otherwise room was clean, food was good. But had very unpleasant sleep. No pool - i should have checked but it was high profile property so i assumed.

The staff at Sawridge is excellent. You almost feel like you are at home with their friendly demeanour and helpfulness. The breakfast is very good with a nice variety of already prepared, and freshly made to order choices. The rooms themselves are quite nice with big showers and a nicely appointed kitchenette. Be was comfy, though the AC in our room (327) was quite noisy. Parking is plentiful, but be aware, you are a bit out of town and unless you eat at the hotel you’re going to have to drive. We would definitely stay there again!

Definitely a good choice in Ft Mcmurray. A bit out of the way with no options for other restaurants except the one on the premises. However the breakfast is very good and lots of selections offered for a "to go" option including lunch.

After check and key Passover we were informed no water the next day from 8 am until 6pm? What away to ruin a sleep in. This info should have been posted in advance as it’s seemed like a planned maintenance. Feel conned by Expedia. Definitely would have stayed somewhere with water!

The rooms were very large, clean and well maintained. Pleasantly surprised as this isn’t a chain I would normally stay at, but have now reconsidered this after staying here. The staff was friendly, helpful with requests for extra coffee or towels. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection to suit a wide variety of tastes. They offer to go breakfast orders, requested from the night before. Underground and outside parking and power plugs for the car in the winter months. It’s close to the highway, a short drive to downtown or the mines/plants.

Everything was great

I love this hotel. It's pristine and comfortable but the staff are just absolute angels. The rooms are perfectly equipped and this trip I made cupcakes and decorated them in the room (made icing in the bowls provided). They really do have it all! I don't love work trips but I love this hotel.

First time staying there. Friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet and clean room. Coming back again for sure.

It is a great facility, restaurant onsite is a big plus. The elevators are access card controlled so safety of the guests is paramount. Room was clean and well maintained. the breakfast was included in my room price and was weel worth the money.

So there is nothing wrong with the hotel itself. The issue is that it is more expensive than other hotels in the area. The higher cost of the room is something you need to be aware of.

Rooms were nice , location was great and breakfast was delicious.

Great place, though no pool, excellent food too and an amazing breakfast was included.

The shower was just pumping hot water, and no cold/mix water was coming out. Could enjoy my shower time. But other than that everything was good.

The property is very well take care of, my only complaint was the noise in my room, between the fridge and the air conditioner it was hard to go to slo

Great hotel! Front desk gentleman was very nice and informative. Accessible for husband working in Fort McKay. Comfy beds, clean and new rooms. Breakfast was lovely- made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles, hasbrowns, sausage, yogurt and fruit,… Area isn’t convenient as far as amenities- in a large industrial area. But since we only stayed the one night, that wasn’t an issue.

I stay at a lot of hotels. This one was fantastic, realizing it is relatively new, but is run very well. Staff were amazing, room great ans breakfast fantastic. I usually go with another hotwl provider. Best Western, you have ranked up with this experience. Excellent overall experience.

breakfast was excellent, good selection of food, real eggs not the fake scrambled eggs that are served at most hotels. service was very good all the staff were friendly.

The stay was great. but the 1st night the fire alarm went off, because of a system problem. The fornt desk did not contact guest to let them know what was happening. we had to call down to hear the fornt desk say it wasnt a fire just a system problem and then went to the lobby to see why the alarms weren't shutting off at all. I worked in big hotels for over 10 years and we were trained to deal with things like this. Communication with staff and guest wasn't very good. or not at all. That is hotel management problem!! staff should be trained for things like this. which we and other saw that they were not trained to deal with this. I hate to see a real fire happen in that hotel... Hotel owners & management need to train their staff.

Could often smell exhaust fumes in my suite on the main floor from all of the workers staying at the hotel and warming their trucks in the morning. Backed in towards hotel. Shower did not get very hot and shower head mounted too high to stay warm t/o shower. Low water pressure.

A very pleasant establishment, excellent breakfast and dining, friendly and efficient staff. The best hotel experience since Covid!
