The staff was really helpful when we needed help with a phone call in Japanese. The futons were more comfortable than in other hotels. Large room. The lake view was very nice. The location is central for this small lakeside village.

Bagno in camera molto piccolo e vecchio, non pulitissimo. In generale si vede che la struttura è datata e non è mantenuta in modo curato. Vasca esterna del bagno comune con acqua parecchio sporca.

Se avete letto altre recensioni, tutte concordano su una cosa: la struttura ha visto giorni migliori e necessiterebbe molto di essere rinnovata. Concordiamo con questa analisi. Se si è disposti a rinunciare a questo aspetto, il resto alla fine non è male. Specialmente la posizione e la vista dalla nostra camera sul lago erano belle. Preso al giusto prezzo non è male e sarebbe anche da consigliare. In zona ci sono strutture certamente più moderne e attraenti, ma anche i prezzi sono diversi. La pulizia era sufficiente e la camera abbastanza spaziosa seppur con i limiti in termini di cura dei dettagli già menzionati. Il bagno forse è il punto debole con un aspetto usurato ed una luce fioca...la prima impressione non è proprio il massimo. Nella struttura vi è un onsen compreso nel prezzo, ma non lo abbiamo utilizzato. Per l'onsen consigliamo caldamente di andare all'hotel vicino Shangri La, è a 5 minuti a piedi, uscendo sulla sinistra, si paga 1200 yen e 300 yen in più se si volessero i loro asciugamani; al 9 piano troverete una rarità: onsen misto uomini/donne (ovviamente con costume) in un'infinity pool con affaccio sul lago e le montagne... stupendo! Infine, la posizione è ottimale, sulla via principale, ideale per esplorare a piedi il paese.

I tanti dettagli di una struttura che ha visto tempi migliori.

Avevamo una camera in stile giapponese, davvero molto bella e abbastanza grande. Lo staff è stato molto attento e ha preparato i futon per noi. Non abbiamo cenato in albergo ma la colazione a buffet era buona e abbastanza varia. Bellissima la vista dalla finestra.

L'albergo ha i suoi anni e un po' si vede. I materassi dei futon un po' bassi anche se lo staff ci ha gentilmente aggiunto uno strato extra.

Nous avons aimé le cadre ainsi que la décoration de la chambre. Le personnel était vraiment très bien, serviable et agréable. Merci beaucoup !

Nous avons payé une importante somme en pensant nous relaxer. Cependant, les murs étaient bien trop fins (ronflements des voisins, crises de colère d'enfants et tremblement du sol constant). Les futons étaient bien trop fins, ce qui nous a conduit à des mals de dos et deux nuits non-reposantes. :( Enfin quelques défauts dans la chambre, les robinets/baignoires étaient tâchés, le tatami n'était pas au meilleur de sa propreté, il y avait des trous dans le mur et quelques tâches sur les coussins. Les rideaux non-ocultants sont aussi un défaut, se réveiller à 5h30 n'était pas notre projet. Nous tenions quand même à dire que nous avons apprécié notre voyage mais le rapport qualité de nuit / prix était bien loin de nos attentes :(.

Très, très vétuste ! Pas rénové depuis des décennies. Ambiance années 70/80. Tout est usé, shabby. Salle de bains lunaire, pommeau qui transperce la peau tellement il est bouché, tout est vieux et de bric et de bric, téléphone à cadran des années 70… murs tres fins et isolation phonique très faible, accueil très vieillot, petit déjeuner très sommaire et bas de gamme.

Le prix est totalement déconnecté du niveau des prestations. C’est niveau une étoile facturé 4 étoiles

Lake-edge with great views from our very large and comfortable room. The hotel decor is a little tired but that adds to its charm, and the service, staff and amenities are all exeptional. Outstanding set meal in the lake-view restaurant is very good value.

旅館各項設施舊就算了， 地毯跟椅子超髒的，讓我全身都過敏起疹子了！ 還有為了想感受湖邊空氣，所以開窗，但是一大堆蟲子穿過紗窗飛進來房間超可怕的，後來才發現紗窗一堆地方都破了……

Das Hotel ist schon relativ teuer.

Emplacement au top au bord du lac et à qq pas du village artisanal Aïnous. Si la chambre a vue sur le lac c est super aussi. La chambre est très grande. Couchage type japonais. Petit déjeuner buffet tout à fait correct.

L hôtel et les chambres sont très vieillissantes, quand il fait gris comme ces deux derniers jours c est assez déprimant, on a pas envie de passer du temps dans sa chambre ou dans le hall de l hôtel. Le rapport qualité-prix n est pas bon. De mes trois mois au Japon c est l hôtel le plus cher (je comprends pour le bord du lac , le onsen) mais c est de loin le plus vieillot. Ça ne valait pas le prix que j ai payé.

古い建物にしては、掃除が 行き届き清潔な感じでした、 スタッフの笑顔が、大変 安心感を与えますし、 何よりのサービスと思います。 インドネシアからの研修スタッフ も、良い印象を受けました。

朝夕の食事が特徴のない 平凡なものでした、高級な 趣向ではなく、むしろ、 季節の山菜とか、地元産品の いも、豆、新鮮野菜のサラダ とか、見た目で楽しませる のも料理人のセンス、 固形燃料の一人鍋は、もう 止めましょう、五目御飯も 具目が少なく、残念。

Location and view on the lake are great. It's also super close from the (second) ferry stop. The onsen is very big and staff is nice.

It being rated 4* is a stretch, between the general old look and the buffet breakfast having a cantine feeling.

The property overlooks Lake Akan, practically at the water’s edge. It’s very convenient for all activities around Akan Kotan: boating, walking, more serious hiking, seeing the cultural shows at the Ikor, visiting museums about the local culture - everything is within walking distance. There is a range of good, inexpensive restaurants very nearby, but the food at the hotel is also excellent. There are two meal packages (breakfast and half-board). Breakfast is a generous buffet, with a nice selection of Japanese and Western-style food. Plus free coffee/tea in the lobby throughout the day. The hotel’s onsen is a real bonus - it is very clean and has everything you would expect, and was never very busy. Self-service washers and dryers are available on-site; the hotel provides detergent. We had a sparkling clean, very comfortable, and sizeable room with a lovely view of the lake. There have been some comments about dated decor. Everything is maintained in excellent condition and I found this was an integral part of its charm. The staff provided excellent service, despite the barriers of language. They gave us a warm welcome and a fond good-bye. I highly recommend this hotel and we hope to return to stay there again.

Wonderful location. Across the road from a Seico Mart, restaurants and many souvenir shops. Short walk from Ainu Kotan village for even more eateries and souvenir shops. Very convenient because the Ainu theatre dances can finish late after dark so the short walk is appreciated. The boarding jetty for the Lake Akan cruise is also located behind the hotel. The parking is also located behind the hotel with rear access so very near to reach the lobby. The room was spacious and we had the lake view so Mt Oakan was visible on a clear day. The hotel also provides free rain jacket rental at the lobby for poor weather. The reception staff was extremely helpful. We had a partially clogged shower head and they fixed it practically immediately. There is free hot coffee at the lobby though it is just average. The reception staff also provided some free baked goods as a gift upon check out which was unexpected. Nice touch.

The onsen is quite old and located in the hotel basement. Gave dank dungeon-like vibes with no windows. Wifi in the room was spotty with frequent drop out. Overall the hotel is generally old but well maintained so nothing is broken. The good service definitely makes up for this shortcoming.

The location is excellent, close to the shops and cruising terminal. Friendly staff makes you feel at home. The building is outdated but it is clean and the price is very reasonable.

毎年利用しているが、何年経っても夜露を防ぐ屋根付きのバイク用の駐車場が出来ず、ホテルスタッフに指定された場所に停めておくと、隣に停まる観光バスの団体客やその荷物が不用意にぶつかって、ナンバープレートなどバイクの一部が破損することもある。バイク客の乗り物の保護に関しては配慮が不十分なので要注意。

The town was interesting, though 90% of shops all sell the same sort of woodwork. The food is also a bit on the limited side. Most (80% plus) people seem to sign up for full meal plan, which we do not prefer. Lacking that, 60% of restaurants only open for lunch, 20% do not operate outside of peat season and others are a bit challenging to locate. We did find a few, after a few false starts. Outside of that, the location is interesting and definitely worth a visit. Watch out if you decide to hike up Meakan, the top is steep with poor footing (but great views).

The room could have been a bit cleaner. Also, the onsen, while adequate, was less than what I would have expected from an onsen location (bit basic and seems to need some serious renovation. The hotel itself is also rather dated and looking very worn. The toilet in the room was claustrophobic and felt dirty (some of it could be simply age), with the hardware not working fully. The view is of the ferry terminal and thus, not the best. Note also that the staff speak only very rudimentary english (did not help that google translate seemed to have a bad period as translation was poor), making it a struggle. We also arrived after 230 and they would not let us check in, though the room was empty, and did not facilitate the storage of luggage in interim (not normal experience for me over the past decades). This was the only time we were a bit early, thus felt this lack of assistance more.

In tanti annni e dopo tante prenotazioni non avrei mai pensato di chiedere di poter lasciare una stuttura prima della data stabilita; la struttura è vecchia e, cosa ben peggiore, sporca. sporca la camera, sporchi i bagni, un senso di abbandono domina il tutto. Sconsiglio vivamente questa sistemazione

La vue sur le lac depuis les chambres est très belle. Après, l'hôtel n'a pas été rénové depuis longtemps et cela se ressent ; il est un peu désuet. Le restaurant de l'hôtel pourrait être plus moderne également

三世代旅行なので朝食付きで二部屋予約しました。 チェックインすると朝食会場が別々の会場で設定されていました。 数部屋同時予約される方は要望欄に書き込む事をお勧めします。 従業員の方は皆さん優しい感じでした。

La gentillesse du personnel, la situation… J’ai beaucoup aimé cet hôtel et son atmosphère, et la grande chambre avec la vue directe sur le lac !

1.就在湖邊，房間面湖，景色優美。 2.停車方便，對面有商店街可逛。 3.服務人員很親切，離開時還送了很好吃的麵包伴手禮。

早餐餐廳環境不是很好，取餐餐點附近有一隻蒼蠅，後來我就吃不下了。

The building is rather desperately in need of refurbishment. If you can get passed the feeling of neglect it emanates, everything else is actually quite perfect.

Location just at the edge of Lake Akan. View into Lake Akan from our room was stunning. Room was spacious. Umbrellas provided for rainy day.

Hotel is dated. Room decor and equipment was old, in dire need of a refresh. Even the telephone was dial type! Room was musty, needed airing out. Really not used to sleeping on a futon, too thin.

溫泉很舒服，每間房間都是可以看到阿寒湖的景色，飯店旁邊有很多的停車位可以停，附近離商店街也很近，遊覽船購票地點就在飯店後面而已，以地點來說是個很棒的位置。飯店的早餐算普通，樣式不多但是吃得飽的。服務很周到，在開車停妥之前，大門口就有服務人員待機著，幫忙提行李進飯店裡面。

Location just next to Lake Akan, walking distance to Ainu village, I got an amazing lake view room too. Hotel gave me a gift when checking out.

- Fantastische Lage direkt am See - Seeblick aus unserem Zimmer - Familienfreundlicher Onsen mit super “Ablagemöglichkeiten” für Kleinkinder

- Badezimmer war sehr verkalkt, Waschbecken viel zu niedrig und Dusche nur eine Art Sprühnebel, so wenig Wasser kam raus. Zum Glück gab es den Onsen-Bereich, ansonsten wäre kein Haarewaschen möglich. - Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, was durchaus einen gewissen Charme haben mag, aber teilweise auch lieblos wirkt
