I couldn’t get a little food when leaving 10 minutes before the official breakfast time

Difficulty check in process.

The property was in a very good location making it easy for daily transportation. The reception staff were super friendly and nice.

We could hear other people talking in their rooms, which made it difficult to sleep and relax during our holiday. We barely slept at around 2–3 a.m. because of noise from other guests, and then we were woken up again at around 6–7 a.m. when breakfast was being prepared in the kitchen. We could hear everything. However, what disappointed us the most was the attitude of the breakfast lady . During our stay, we repeatedly saw an Italian couple take plates full of food from the breakfast buffet to their room for at least 3 days in a row, and the breakfast lady clearly saw this but never said anything to them. When we tried to take just a banana and an apple, however, we were stopped and scolded in front of the other guests. The staff member pointed to a small sign stating that food could not be taken from the breakfast area, although we had not noticed the sign and therefore genuinely did not know about this rule. Eventually, she said it was okay and allowed us to take the fruit. What made the situation particularly upsetting was the inconsistent treatment. After repeatedly seeing another couple take full plates of food to their room without being stopped, we naturally assumed that taking a banana and an apple would not be a problem. We cannot say why we were treated differently, but the contrast was noticeable and left us feeling unfairly singled out. Even if taking food from the breakfast area was against the rules, we believe we could have been informed politely and discreetly rather than being scolded in front of other guests. We are adults and expected to be treated with respect. Overall, the noise issues and the way this situation was handled significantly affected our experience.

Trop excentre du centre ville et surtout sans ligne de bus. Pas de chance le jacuzzi ne fonctionnait pas lorsque nous sommes arrivés impossible de boire un verre le soir pour se détendre et manger à proximité surtout après des grosses journées de marche il fallait aller en ville et sur le port il fallait remonter Nous y avons passé 5 nuits et j avoue que pour le prix nous avons été déçus

Francesa y Margarita son super amables, siempre dispuestas a ayudarte y hacer tu estadía única. El desayuno riquísimo. La ubicación perfecta. 5/10 min a pie del centro, estación de tren y puerto.

Francesca is fab, as is her team. Nothing was a problem with lots of helpful suggestions snd info. Hotel design is fun and cheery. Location excellent. A short stroll from station and Piazza Tasso in a much quieter street than most main Sorrento areas. Room large, bright, airy and clean with a great terrace. Large shower, plenty of amenities and great air con. Typical Italian style breakfast plus plenty more to start your day. Enjoyed our stay here so much and we visit Sorrento regularly, we gladly rebooted for our next visit.

There is nothing to dislike! It's a feel good hotel in a wonderful location.

Immeuble et chambres très bien décorés et très confortables. Le personnel est disponible et chaleureux. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner propose un large choix. Bien localisé à proximité du centre-ville et des stations de bus. Un endroit superbe!

The hotel is a little gem, a little quirky in terms of design, but we loved it. The breakfast was also great.

The room was very clean and spacious. I absolutely loved the fact that we had a terrace. All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location was also very convenient — just a 5-minute walk to the buses and trains, 8–10 minutes to the shops, and less than 15 minutes to the ferries. I will definitely visit again.

We stayed at Maison Kalea the day before our wedding and overall had a lovely stay. The location is perfect, the facilities are modern and spotless, and we were very happy with the large room we had paid for. My husband also really enjoyed the breakfast and said it was very good.

There were a couple of disappointments. My hair and makeup artists came to the hotel for my wedding trial and were initially refused access to my room. I completely understand the security policy, but the situation wasn’t explained to me and the staff member involved made what should have been an exciting part of the day feel awkward. We also booked an airport transfer through the hotel from Naples Airport for four people. Despite giving plenty of notice that our flight would be delayed due to passport control, we were charged an extra €60 waiting fee, bringing the total to €300. We later paid just €190 for a transfer from Positano to Naples, so the hotel transfer felt very overpriced.

We really enjoyed our stay in Maison Kalea. The staff are lovely, the breakfast had a good selection. Our room was big and very comfortable. There is a hottub outside but we didn't have time to try it. Safe location, approximately 5 minutes walk from the main square and there is a supermarket beside it.

Had a lovely breakfast each morning. The rooms were spotless and cleaned on a daily basis. I told the staff we were having our wedding there and they left us a lovely gift on the bed with a card. The location was perfect as it was 10 mins walk to the main square. It was also opposite a grocery store.

The showers were leaking causing the water to go over the top of the door onto the bathroom floor, making it very slippery. I also don’t think the extraction fan was working. Also they advertised that there was a hot tub yet they said on the first day it was out of operation as it wasn’t the correct time of year. (This wasn’t mentioned on booking.com)

Great location! Staff were so helpful and and clearly cared about the guests! The rooms were so clean, and large! The decorating was amazing! The breakfast was more than we ever needed! They were so happy to help with tours and anything else neeeed!

Beautiful massive size balcony! I only wish they had lay down chairs for sunning during the day!

Uma certa distancia a percorrer a pé para chegar ao centro, não por ser longe mas por haver trechos sem calçadas. Mas o hotel vale a pena.

A localização é perfeita, chegamos ao centro de Sorrento em menos de 10 min e na estação de trem também. Os funcionários muito simpáticos e prestativos, café da manhã muito bom, quartos super limpos e confortáveis. Ficamos surpreendidos. Tudo incrível!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The staff also provided options for what to see and do while staying in Sorrento! Our room was available earlier than the standard check-in time, which was very helpful. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was very enjoyable with a lot of selections available.

The property was very comfortable, clean and well located. Only a short walk to the town centre, but quiet at night.

A 25 Euro charge for a lost room keycard seems excessive. I had to argue the point with staff who eventually waived the fee.

A quiet location but within easy reach of Sorrento centre and train station. The hotel was lovely with a modern touch and spotless, The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, with Tea and Coffee also in the room. Great place to stay to enjoy Sorrento and surrounding area.

Maison Kalea is een heel fijne uitvalsbasis om Sorrento en de Amalfikust te verkennen. Het ligt net buiten het centrum van Sorrento en daarom rustig gelegen. Prima om te lopen naar het centrum. De kamer was ruim en ook fijn rustig. De dames aan de receptie zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en doen alle moeite om ie te helpen met tips en uitstapjes. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf.

Het ontbijt was oke. Wat we vreemd vonden was dat je na twee koffie de volgende moest betalen. Niet voor het bedrag maar bij een accommodatie met vier sterren verwacht ie dit niet. De douchecabine is redelijk klein.

Il letto matrimoniale composto da due materassi separati non era troppo comodo...poi l.acqua della vasca non era calda ma tiepida forse dovuta al fatto che il miscelatore dovrebbe essere posizionato centro della vasca e non alla estremità...per il resto tutto eccellente tranne che la porta non è tanto insonorizzata....forse se viene posizionata altra porta alla camera da letto potrebbe essere risolto...

La amplitud de la habitación y baño, la cama muy cómoda. Gran variedad en el desayuno tanto de dulce como salado y también fruta, todo estaba muy rico. El hotel está muy céntrico, a 6 minutos andando de Piazza Tasso. Agradecer q llegamos a las 12:00 y nos dieron la habitación, todo un detalle.

Szívből ajánlom mindenkinek aki Sorrentoban szeretne kikapcsolódni! Igényes, szép udvar és környezet. A város könnyen megközelíthető, a szobák tiszták, olyanok mint a képeken. A személyzet nagyon kedves és választékos reggelivel várják az odaérkezőket! A jakuzzi pedig mégjobban dob az ott töltött élményen.

The Staff were super lovely and helpful. I really enjoyed that breakfast was included and the spread every morning covered everything you wanted. I found that the value of accommodation exceeded my expectations. The accommodation was less than a 10 minute walk from the center of town and right across the road from a supermarket and great restaurants.

Only a small inconvenience - There were only a few wall plugs in the room we were to charge all of my devices. Otherwise nothing else!

The room and the bathroom were spacious and light, we had several big windows and a balcony. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The breakfast was great. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas. I wish we could stay longer than 2 days!

There was no “do not disturb” sign available for those guests who don’t need change of towels every day. No cheaper options for parking available (it was 25 per day).

La posizione è molto vicina al centro di Sorrento. La camera è pulita con un bel balcone. La colazione molto varia e con ottimi prodotti fatti in casa.

Struttura bellissima e pulita complimenti non c’è niente che non vada ma un complimento particolare alla prima colazione che veramente fantastica

Staff disponibile, gentile e preparato, colazione ottima e cuoca bravissima. La struttura è davvero molto bella e la posizione è ottimale: in zona molto tranquilla a pochi passi dal centro e parcheggio comodo (a pagamento) nelle vicinanze.

Small, family environment which many of traveller already forgot long time ago. Thank you for operating such a way that lonely traveller can find it home!
