The view is outstanding! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with beds, a table and chair set, as well as two comfy chairs to sit in and watch the view. There were also chairs provided on the balcony. And a coffee maker and fridge. Listening to the waves lapping made for a peaceful sleep.

Perfect for our visit, able to prepare some meals. Outlook is fantastic. Comfortable bed. The host Paul is exceptional, going out of his way to make our stay very special and enjoyable.

Location was great as was the Manager, Paul. He was very helpful from the moment we arrived until we left. We only stayed 1 night but would recommend.

The motel is tired but the room has everything you need. Fuller pillows would be appreciated.

Paul was so nice and welcoming. He gave us lots of god advice, including one that meant we got to see a bear. We would for sure recommend this place. We had a room downstairs with a common patio, but it was just great. Sea view and sunshine. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Our room was spacious and it was lovely having a balcony to enjoy the sea view. The guy at reception was very friendly offering all sorts of advice about local sights, restaurants, etc. Thanks to him we spotted some black bears!

It would be nice to have two comfy chairs in the room...we were fighting over the recliner!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben ein Fernglas geliehen bekommen um die Natur zu genießen. Wir haben einen Seelöwen gesehen und direkt vor dem Hotel hatte ein Seeadler sein Nest in einem Baum. Der Raum war sauber und die Betten sehr gemütlich. Auch das Bad und die Dusche waren sauber. Preis/Leistung stimmt. WLAN funktioniert. Gute Lage um eine Grizzlytour oder Whale Watching zu machen.

Schönes Motel, mit schöner Aussicht und gute Ausstattung. Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel.

After a bad experience at another hotel the day before, Paul made my stay at Above Tide Motel smooth and seamless, so I could continue my trip without any issues. I was so glad to stay there. The room was perfect, and the view from the room had the best sunrises ever.

Das Highlight des Motels ist der Ausblick aufs Meer. Paul war sehr freundlich und hat uns Empfehlungen für die Umgebung gegeben. Für uns war die Küche auch sehr nützlich.

The view was nice, beds were comfy. The room looked nice. Seems to have been renovated not too long ago. All non smoking, also on the balcony.

The traffic noise is outrages. I wasn't aware when I booked that the motel is right in between water and highway. I booked it because of the proximity to the water but hey... glad we stayed only 1 night. Never forget to check on google maps where the accomodation you wanna book is located - learned the lesson...

Fabulous welcoming, friendly owners! Loan items made available to make the stay easy, and top up coffee pods! A wonderful (partial) view of the river out front from our spacious ground level, 2 room apartment and a kitchen! View would be a clear view up stairs. Not that I want to cook on holidays, but having a kitchen for an easy meal enjoying the sunset, and seeing bandicoots run through the garden, and cruise ships silently slip past, it was very nice to stay in!! A close 15-20min walk to the township on a footpath. Nb. The bear photo wasn’t taken in the garden 😉 it’s from a tour up river!

The trees though pretty in front cover a lot of the river view at some angles on the lower level.

I stayed at unit #23 which is a kitchenette room. It is spacious with a bedroom with a 2nd bed in the kitchen/living room area. Great Balcony view, quiet and room is recently renovated. Kitchen is well-stocked and so clean! Paul the manager is amazing, very professional and extremely helpful.

Everything is great, nothing negative at all.

Little noisy given it's on the main road, probably quieter in the downstairs rooms which face away.

De ligging was erg mooi en het personeel was super vriendelijk!

Jammer dat we geen wildlife hebben gezien vanaf het balkon maar daar kunnen jullie natuurlijk niks aan doen. Het Motel is wat verouderd maar prima voor een paar dagen.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Paul an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben.

The view from our balcony was just stunning. Bed was comfy. Room was clean, very friendly/helpful staff. If you needed more coffee you could get it from the reception area. They lend us binoculars for our whale watch trip. Couldn't have asked for more.

Le réceptionniste du motel est exceptionnel. Il est vraiment agréable et veut aider et conseiller ses clients.

Un motel qui a vécu à bord de la route. On entends les voitures y passer tout le temps. Les chambres sont de bonnes tailles. Le lits sont petits et pas comfortables. Il y a un coin de kitchenette avec une micro-onde, mais pas de couverts ni assiettes. Le seul point positif je peux trouver est un super réceptionniste et un coin de lave-linge.

I loved everything if you dont love the motel experience this is very much the high end motel experience, old thick walls pretty sound proof, air con a bit loud , plumbing a bit old,

Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen.Am morgen der Sonnenaufgang und am Abend fahren die Kreuzfahrtschiffe in Richtung Alaska vorbei.Paul gibt gute Tips für Ausflüge und unser 🐳 Ausflug war mehr als erfolgreich.

Das Motel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber für alle, die nicht zu hohe Ansprüche haben, entschädigt der Service und die Lage.

Sehr fürsorglicher Chef, hat tolle Tipps gegeben für Ausflüge, Appartement war sehr gut ausgestattet,Lüftung etwas laut aber abschaltbar.Handtücher wurden auf Wunsch gewechselt. Waschmaschine und Trockner für je 3 Dollar. Blick auf Pazifik fantastisch,inklusive Whale watching vom Balkon aus.Wenn etwas gefehlt hat,konnte man den Chef jederzeit fragen und er hat es gleich organisiert

the balcony was great - the extra chairs and table were good - the bathroom was fine ( A higher toilet seat would have been appreciated) there was a microwave, a fridge, an electric kettle, a coffee maker - proper cups and glasses.

The Television was not good - not our usual service - had to get the staff to help us "Turn On The TV - then the TV channels that were available was very limited - more designed for APPS - definitely not to our liking. There was no telephone in the room that connected to the front desk ( wanted a wake up call ) no clock radio in room either ..

Paul was friendly, caring and professional. He made me feel at home immediately. And he was happy to accommodate my bike as well. The hotel is right on the water with great views including Orcas swimming by regularly.

We chose a last minute one-night stay at the Above Tide Motel based on reviews and location. Our view from the small balcony was nice.

The property was older with no services and directly beside the busy highway. Our room was dated, on the main floor, across from the public laundry and stairs and it had no sound proofing. We were kept awake much of the night by the people above. The two beds were uncomfortably small.

De rust. Zitten in de tuin aan het water. En misschien nog belangrijker het ontvangst van Paul. Wat een vriendelijke man is dit die er alles aan doet om het naar je zin te maken.

De vloer van de kamer plakte waardoor je niet met blote voeten kan lopen. Buitenzijde mag wat worden opgefrist.

Die Lage ist super, die Aussicht fantastisch, alles sehr sauber, die Mückengitter perfekt und Paul ist sehr hilfreich und hat gute Restaurants empfohlen.

Es fehlen Schüsseln, Teller und Besteck für das Frühstück. Die Inneneinrichtung könnte etwas leichter (nordisch) und moderner sein.

View- fabulous over the straits ( from 1st floor). Paul gave us loads of information including ideas of where to eat. It was a 20 minute walk to the centre of Campball River. Paul was very helpful providing crockery & cutlery, if needed. Laundry was easy & cheap to use.

Whilst all the facilities in the room were there, some were a little "tired" from a decorative point of view.

For the price, this motel was pleasing and provided exactly what we needed after a week-long kayak trip: a good-sized balcony to dry out all our kit, enough space to relax, easy access right on the Hwy (yet quiet), surprisingly well-equipped kitchen with full fridge and stove, walking distance to good pubs for casual dinner. Plus a friendly helpful manager and lovely ocean view! Three of us stayed in the one-bedroom suite.

Amazing location with beautiful views, extremely friendly staff, very functional and clean kitchen. The rooms facing the water were very quiet, but in the room facing the street in the two-bedroom the traffic could be heard. However, there was a fan in the room and we turned that on to mask the noise at night.
