Love the vintage feel of this property and the spacious deck overlooking the lake!

Could update the patio chairs to a bit more comfortable as we sat out there for a long time in evening

The view from the room was awesome...close to restaurants

Tv channels were limited to my likes but found a couple not bad...would have been nice to have had a toaster...

Due to an unexpected issue during our trip (the arrival of my van on a tow truck) I needed to extend my stay for one of the rooms I had originally reserved. The staff was not only sympathetic and helpful with the arrangements, they also made sure that my comfort was taken care of. Extra visits from housekeeping to make sure I had what I needed were really appreciated. Although I had booked the 2 extra nights I only needed to stay for one. Thank you to the staff for your courtesy in allowing my vehicle to be towed into the lot and parked by my room until it could be removed by a second tow truck.

As usual nothing I really disliked other than the fact that I didn't have a room with a view of the water. I know it's luck of the draw for the view and this time just wasn't my time.

While the motel was perfect for location, it is now very old and some of the facilities need replacement e.g. the cooker and the kitchen cabinets

no A/C in the middle of summer.. the cheap fan is not working. its still too hot. its smells and there’s still a hair and old pervious stains in the beddings and tub.

Location was great! Staff were so friendly! Mini Golf was a nice addition.

Well I had to cancel 2 of 3 nights over the booking website but when I received the email verification code it wouldn’t work. I had to call the motel directly to get this accomplished. Staff were great and happily canceled the 2 nights but when I checked in for the one night the cancelled nights didn’t show up. Very frustrating. They didn’t charge me for them which was very appreciated!!

The facilities were dated, which I expected, but the bed was very comfortable, and the bedding looked new. What was unexpected but exceptional was the view out of my unit, which looked directly out onto Scout Island. The setting was so peaceful, I would stay there again, probably ask for the same room. I also was pleasantly surprised to find a water kettle in the roombecause I am a tea drinker and heating water in a coffee machine is not an option for making tea.

My only disappointment was the lack of a hairdryer, but I will bring one with me next time. I’m thinking of staying there again. There was not any air conditioning either, but was not an issue during my stay.

Convenient, close, close to the highway, close to restaurants, reminded me of motels I stayed in for six dollars a night in the 1950s. Modernized bathroom.

No AC, but actually not a problem; the fans were fine.

Have stayed there before and knew what to expect. Clean and large room although somewhat dated. Had fun playing the free putt putt course, although its needs some maintenance. Staff friendly and good location

It was excellent The barbecues made for a nice steak dinner. And it was an excellent place to stay. It would definitely have to come back.

I forgot my phone charger in the room. I called the hotel and told them I’d be back to grab it. When I got back he had it on the counter waiting for me. I don’t remember his name but I believe he’s Filipino

The location. The staff were lovely. It was quiet with a nice view of the lake and close to amenities.

It was in tired, in need of some updating and fresh paint. The smell of cigarette smoke inside our room and the constant smokers on adjacent balconies .

It was run down, quits old and worn, carpet old and dirty, repairs needed on walls. There was a lingering of smoke (Tabacco) smoke.

once I let the property know we would be arriving late ( we'll past their office hours) they made it super easy to get into our room and into a comfortable bed. Also full size coffee maker in our room, very nice 👌 👍 😀

Well located for a visit to the Williams Lake Stampede. On the main road into Williams Lake so it was easy to find and there was lots of parking. Beds were very comfortable

Lake view is lovely. Free mini golf was fun but the course was rundown, as is the rest of the property.

There’s no way to block the light from the parking lot. The front door has three windows but no blinds - the light shines through to the second bed all night long. I hung a towel up as best I could. Photo was taken at 11:50pm

Die Lage mit Balkon und Seeblick, nur knapp 2km von Willams Lake entfernt, war hervorragend. Das Zimmer hatte einen Gasgrill vor dem Eingang stehen, als Motelgast konnte man die Minigolfanlage kostenlos benutzen.

Die Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption waren etwas kurz (9 - 18 Uhr); dies ist aber nur dann ein Problem wenn ein Bedarfsfall unerwartet eintritt

Room was spacious and clean, beds very comfortable, staff very accomidation. Great view of the lake.

All it needs is an air conditoner in the room. they had a big fan and that did the job when the room was warm at night time. otherwise our stay was great.

I got in late, and my room faced a busy highway that got loud at 5:30 am.

The bed was very comfortable.

This motel is very old and worn and hasn't been painted, updated or it seems maintained in years. Sure the linens were clean and the place clean. But is so grimy and worn that its hard to tell. Depressing vibe, I wouldn't recommend it.

At 38 degrees the fact that there is no Air Conditioning made it very uncomfortable.

I picked Lakeside Motel because it was the most affordable place to stay in Williams Lake… an old school motel, probably built in the 50s. But the welcome and check-in, The, actual facilities, the cleanliness and the comfort, were top notch! Even the TV was user-friendly usually have to call staff to help me operate a hotel TV, but this one was great and easy to use. I drive-through Williams Lake six or seven times a year, and I will for sure stay here each time in future.

I especially loved the old-fashioned feeling of the place, hot water heat, a real door key, the well-equipped kitchen and an Analog phone sitting on top of a Phone book! Priceless for the digitally disenfranchised in today's world :)

Picturesque old style motel with parking at your door. Close to Museum of Cariboo-Chilcotin. Manager was friendly and helpful, remembered me from previous visit.

The toilet paper really sucked. Way too thin. The bathroom adjacent to ours the bathroom was loud. The outside light lit our room all night which interrupted our sleep.

The rustic feel, the Lakeview, and the clean, decent furniture and soft blankets were amazing. Great and friendly staff. We loved our stay. The rooms have more amenities than usual, which was nice! Would stay again.

(THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MOTEL. Its just a heads up for people staying.) Beware Google GPS. It'll send you across the street. To someone's house. Just turn around and look toward the lake, you'll see the motel! It even sent our Uber Eats driver there.

Great place to stay!

Only stayed for the night during a longer journey down south but overall was a nice comfortable and clean place, would definitely stay again.

Been staying here for the last 8 years during our road trip to the north. It’s a convenient location, usually well priced, has a patio and is pet friendly. However interior and maintenance continues to worsen, needs for repair - and now the price has gone up! Next trip might consider paying another 15 dollars and stay somewhere with a little more amenities and comfortable interior.

Check-in staff was great. Would stay again.

Good value for money considering it was a stop off point en route elsewhere. Bed was comfortable, bath and shower good. Quiet, ideal for its purpose.

Although bed and bathroom were fine, the room could do with a thorough clean. Decor is decidedly tired.

Often couldn't use the balcony as immediate neighbor smoked frequently and smoke came right to our. Sign was not easily seen from highway for northbound traffic.

If there had been another available room in town we would have left as soon as we saw the room.

Condition of the room was only fair. There was a nasty odor in the room.
