Hidden Acres Cottages

The location was perfect since we were going to shining waters in Cavendish right down the road. The playgrounds and green space for our kids to play while we there was a nice touch. They made friends and got to run off some energy and we could see them from the window. The porch was spacious and the BBQ was a bonus. The rooms and beds were so cozy and the cottage had everything we needed to cook our meals and clean up. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend and stay again in the future.

Really clean and comfortable

We couldn’t connect to wifi and no tv service. Not usually an issue but poor weather kept us inside.

The property was in a great, convenient location. The cottages are set back off the main road so it feels more private and gives peace of mind with young children not being close to a busy road. The room was really clean, but dated. Had air conditioning which was awesome. It was stocked with utensils, pots and pans for basic needs. They have definitely seen better days but at least they were there right !? The pool was great, heated and very clean. It was the highlight for our 4yo. There were multiple fire pits and play areas for children. All in all it was a good stay. Definitely over priced for what it was but that’s just how things are now on the island.

We had a couple of issues, our microwave broke and my foot went through a deck board which thankfully I didn’t get seriously hurt. The deck was in really rough shape with multiple rotten boards and we never should have been placed in that cottage. Staff was incredibly prompt though and did give us a replacement microwave and came and replaced some deck boards right away.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The location was very central, the pool was terrific, cottages were very clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely accommodating.

The only things that could use some upgrades are the bbqs and WiFi didn't work well

Only complaint is individual firepits not shared ones and more stored towels in cabin when stay is longer than one night

It was in a nice quiet location.

The cottage was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The tubs need to have non-slip mats for the bottoms as well as a grab bar for safety. Getting in and out of the tub for showers were dangerous.

Coffee maker needed replacing, and it would have been nice to provide a few courtesy filters.

Wi fi not working. Fridge hard to open as it was pushed against wall. House shook when people walked around. No tea or coffee provided. Heater initially not working as circuit was broken.

No breakfast, but excellent location. Close to Cavendish, but far enough from the main road so that you felt like you were in a cottage in the countryside. Nice warm clean pool. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to spend the night or a week or two

The pool was deep The distance to main drag in cavendiah Easy drive up BBQ and basic kitchen equipment provided.

Our toilet was leaking and water was seeping up from the bathroom floor, so obviously not a new problem. When I advised the staff I saw driving the golf carts they didnt seem to care (or be surprised) we had to find something to catch the water, and put towels down ourself. no one from the cottage even came by. For the price we paid for a less than 24hour say, I would not return. The beds were both uncomfortable and the pillows sucked. Check in not until. 4:30 but check out at 10am for a one night booking , maybe that's standard, I don't know =overpriced

The only thing we didn't love was the beds were super stiff. Not comfortable.

The cottage was roomier than I expected. It was very clean. Very quiet to sleep at night. My daughter liked the pool. We were close to a beautiful beach.

The toaster was broken as were some of the hobs on the stove. À screw was loose on one bed.

Love the detached cottages, playground for the kids and the pool! The location cannot be beat, it's so calming and beautiful. I cannot say enough about the pool! We also loved the amount of wildlife that ran through! Foxes, rabbits, many different birds!

Wifi connection was poor for both cottages we had. one cottage's television did not work (only the kids were upset lol). unfortunately the fire pit at our end was roped off on our second night through to our last night, so we were unable to have a bonfire but again, only the kids were upset. We didn't see that you had to request sheets for the pull outs until we were leaving (our fault).

The cottage was spacious and clean. Plenty of towels and nicely equipped kitchen and outdoor grill area. We had a problem with the front door lock and the cottage manager came right over and replaced the lock at 9 pm. Great service.

Nothing to complain about.

The small cabin #48 was all by itself very quiet and privet. The decor was dated but clean and functional. The appliances where clean and new.

The Bed was rock hard we could not be slept on at all. We where lucky that there was a day bed and couch that we could sleep on.

Very peaceful (out of season) Had everything we needed except coffee. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms a good temperature.

Would have liked some coffee. Room was cold when we arrived but warmed up quickly.

We had an amazing experience while staying at Hidden Acres and would definelty recommned staying there.

Las cabañas son bastante antiguas y necesitan una remodelacion .No había estropajo, la nevera no paraba de hacer ruido y la cerradura de la puerta no daba seguridad.

My cabin was perfect. So comfortable. Everything I needed was there. It was quiet and picturesque.

That is was so close to everything in Cavendish.

Playground looked run down but otherwise good for families.

Staff were quick to fix minor issues and very friendly. I would stay here again.

Good location, spacious cottage, very clean, lots of TV channels, comfortable sofa and chairs. Comfortable beds. Washer and dryer in the cottage, which was a bonus.

I have some mobility issues so climbing stairs to get into the cottage was difficult. Having a bread knife and a chef knife in the kitchen would have been great as we did cooking while we were there. Also the hinge on the refrigerator door needs to be changed to the other side. It was awkward trying to use it.

The property was well cared for. The cabin had been updated and was very comfortable.

It was a cottage, had full kitchen, clean and lovely. The pool was clean and beautiful and relaxing. The staff at reception was expecting us and were very friendly and helpful. The cottages were well kept, beautiful on the inside. Everything was excellent.

The place was close by to all the attractions but the places are a bit run down and wasn’t very clean.

My family truly enjoyed their stay. The cottages are always clean and stocked with dishes/utensils linens and private deck with BBQ. The pool was my grandson’s favourite. Met a lot of great people by sharing my grandson’s 10th birthday cake with all the guests. Close to all the great beaches. Lots of kid friendly places. If you’re a night owl!! You can see the”Milky Way” from your deck.

There was a hornets nest on the front of the deck and the picnic table was rotten. It looks like they are replacing the deck furniture so perhaps the cottage we were in has not been updated yet.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Cabin is clean and well equipped. Good location to Cavendish beach and many trails.

Nice pool :) Wi-fi is a little slow. Pretty wood walls inside the cabins. Beautiful trees surrounding the property.

We had a great stay at Hidden Acres Cottage! The best part was its location — it was very close to Cavendish, which made it super convenient for exploring the area. The cottage had two bedrooms: one with a queen and a single bed, and the other with a queen bed. It was spacious and comfortable for our group. There was an outdoor deck with benches, and we were able to use the BBQ, which was a nice bonus. The kitchen and dining area were also large and easy to use, making meals very convenient.

However, there were a few downsides. We only stayed for one night, and with a 4:30 PM check-in and a 10:00 AM check-out, the time felt too short — especially considering the price. Also, while this is a personal preference, the interior design wasn’t great: the blankets and curtains had dark, busy patterns that made the space feel a bit dated, and the sofa was quite old and uncomfortable. That said, the rooms were generally clean.
