The staff were really professional and kind. Nothing was too much.

The breakfasts were a little hit and miss. Western style scrambled eggs excellent, but croissants stale. The early risers had the pick with us later diners not having as much choice. The coffee urn became dangerous when nearing the end as it was so hot.

We had such a lovely stay at the ibis, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and the location was conveniently located to the Mattar mrt train station. The Singapore slings cocktails at chat and chow by the pool were incredible. Thank you for such a pleasant experience, we will be back =)

Located in a quiet area in Macpherson surrounded by many excellent food options littered around the area. Hotel provided free shuttle to the nearest MRT and paid services to other further train stations. What stood out for me in this hotel was the excellent services povided by the staff from reception the moment I stepped in. Special shout out to the ever smiling Fifi(Elma’) who was exceptional and her team. Will definitely be back.

I had an excellent stay at this Ibis style hotel in Singapore. Despite arriving late at night, I received a very warm welcome from Elma. She took the time to explain everything clearly and was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. After a long journey, her hospitality was truly appreciated. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well air-conditioned. The breakfast was varied, generous, and of excellent quality. I would also like to thank the manager, Nantha, who kindly accommodated my request for a late check-out. He was very attentive, understanding, and offered me a thoughtful commercial gesture, always with a smile. This level of customer service really makes a difference. The entire team at this hotel genuinely goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and well cared for. I highly recommend this hotel without hesitation and will gladly stay here again on my next visit to Singapore.

The receptionists were helpful in getting taxis etc for my elderly parents.

There was no shampoo, conditioner, fridge was not turned on, no drinking water. Not elderly friendly.

I’ve been staying for every family visit for the past few years and it’s consistently delivered. It’s close to where my mum lives, and it’s a short bus ride to several MRT (Singapore’s equivalent of the London tube). The hotel is also close by to a couple of 24 hour eateries which can be very handy when one’s jet lagged and hungry at 3am. The team at the hotel are delightful and helpful. I’d like to specifically thank Chris who has welcomed me over the years. For a comfortable stay with the option of a pool and a small functional gym, this hotel is good value for money.

We liked that there was a mall connected below, and nice food options around. The room was spacious and there was a nice view. Location had a few bus stops that were well-connected. Swimming pool was nice. There was also a gym we could use.

There was barely any housekeeping done over the 5 nights we stayed (we were told that housekeeping is only done on the 3rd day of stay) and cleaning was minimal when done. We caught a few baby cockroaches in our room and decided to move out as a result. There was no drainage in the toilet area as well, only in the shower area. Location is at least 15 minutes walk to the nearest MRT, so it is not the easiest to get to. The entrance can also be confusing to find when on foot.

Room tiny, shower and toilet just cubicles in the room with basin practically in the middle of the bedroom. You had to walk around the basin to get to the toilet.

We went to the chat and chow cafe. The food was nice and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Location was good, easily accessible, reception staff was good and helpful.

Restaurant staff was not good, having a toddler is not easy when it comes to food. They didn't let our food inside that area considering we have toddler. Non-cooperative, rushing for everything, keeping eye on your table while eating.

The employees always go above and beyond to help us with everything that we need. Each and everyone of them were very friendly and kind. Special thanks to Elma and Francis for going out of their way to assist us. The family room was spacious with a big practical bathroom for a wheelchair user. The one thing that is missing is the hooks for towels in the shower room. Otherwise everything was perfect, location is great, walking distance to eatery, restaurants and minimarkets. 6 mins walk to bus stops, 12 mins walk to the MRT station, laundry in the building, free flow of drinking water with restaurant on the poolside. We had wonderful stay and managed to explore Singapore without the use of a wheelchair taxi. For all the wheelchair user out there, dont be afraid to be here. We've done it and it works :)))

No hooks for towel in the shower room. Due to wear and tear, the chair in the restaurant kept pinching my shorts and made hole on it.

The service is good overall, but it would be beneficial to install a child-friendly tap near the toilet area to better accommodate younger customers

Chat and Chow was by far the best part of the establishment. Attention to detail the staff were absolutely brilliant. They remembered or drink preferences, room number and were always warmly greeted, for breakfast and dinner. The steak that was ordered in the evening were cooked to perfection. Meals were well presented. not like some high fluting Michelle restaurant. but as all meals should be, put in a plate ready to eat, not as some piece of fancy art work. Meals were of a good size. Again, my thanks to ALL THE STAFF at the Chat and Chow for a job very well done

Easy walk to tram station

It was dirty and filthy, the bed was as hard as a rock may as well have slept on the floor. It was noisy you could hear everything your neighbour said! We were unfortunate to have two tour groups of very loud people come through who were disrespectful and decided yelling in the hall all times of the night was ok. The breakfast was very average.

Fantastic location with all attractions at the reach of 20mins drive. Only issue was breakfast hall will be cramped if you choose the window of closing hour which is 0900-1000hrs

The location was very good, the matter MRT station was a 10 minute walk and could get you to all major tourists spots. The atmosphere was very good the staff were very polite and helpful especially grace. The rooms was very clean and it was great value for money.

i had a comfortable and pleasant stay. the room’s orange and yellow tones with warm lightning created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. even on level 5, i enjoyed a nice city view, and it was quiet at night with no noise issues, allowing me to sleep well. the room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. there’s also a mall right beside the hotel with plenty of food options, and transport is easily accessible. the reception staff were friendly and made check-in smooth and easy.

the room is a bit compact, making it less ideal for two people with luggage. the toilet has an open-concept design, which may not suit those who prefer more privacy. no bottled water was provided, and only body wash is available, so guests need to bring their own shampoo.

Lovely room at a great price. Toiletries in the bathroom,even a toothbrush and toothpaste. Plenty of tea, coffee, etc, even filtered water available. Easy to get to from the city centre and not too far from the airport. Breakfast starts at 6am so great for early flights. Good selection of food. Reception very helpful. Called a taxi for me to the airport which arrived in under 5 minutes.

TV channels very limited but not that important that I wouldn't stay there again.

The staff is really nice.. especially the two women at the reception desk(forgot to get their names). They helped us in early checkin and gave a cute surprise for our son’s birthday which one of them personally gave us to our room. Touched by the personal touch.

The staff were amazing. They initially had us in a smaller room but upgraded us the following day to a much better one with more room and a nicer view. The availability of the local bus network stops was awesome too for anyone looking at using Singapores amazing public transport system.

The facilities and decor is dated, not matching the pics online. Pleasant enough though.

Food variety wasn't much plus the location is a 15mins walk to the nearest station. Although, I appreciate that they offered a free transport by 11am and 2pm daily.

The hotel was very comfortable, in a great location, and had excellent staff! Elma and Emily in particular were wonderful. It was also close to a bus stop and within walking distance to the MRT station.

The hotel is situated in a very silent neighborhood which I prefer. Amenities are complete and appreciate the free filtered water. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating specially Elma from Front desk. Will definitely come back. PS. Don't expect a lot from the McPherson mall (this is also one of the reasons why we booked here) cause it is an empty mall.

Walking into Ibis Styles McPherson was like arriving into a cozy home and being with family. The support of the General Manager and her efficient staff was immediate, professional and sincere throughout our extremely pleasant stay there. The location of this hotel is fantastic. This area still maintains a traditional sense of Singapore with its older shops, hawker center, coffee shops and ethnic restaurants. There are supermarkets, hairstylists, a massage therapy outlet, SIM card shops etc, available within short walking distance. We also enjoyed exploring the heritage Bidadari Nature Park. The hotel provides a free morning shuttle service to the Paya Lebar Interchange train station. Our room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The restaurant is at the charming swimming pool area where the breakfast buffet is served. It was a generous, thoughtful variety catering for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests. Chef George takes pride in providing well-planned, tasty meals. 'Aunty' Lucy, while busy serving, would still fit in a quick chat to enquire after our comfort. Balan organised two SMRT bus/train cards which got us moving around Singapore immediately. Ron mixed the best rum and coke. Fife went out of her way to make sure our room needs were met. Jo and the GM connected with us everyday. Just like everyone in the 'family', Mala, Nita, Joash, Ashok, Mr Velu, Mr Nick and all the other lovely staff wanted to do everything for us. They made our stay as easy as magic! We so look forward to connecting with this warm bunch of 'family' in May. XX

I had a very good stay at ibis Styles Singapore On Macpherson. The rooms are clean, functional, and comfortable, perfect for both leisure and business travel. The property is well maintained, the common areas are tidy, and it has a relaxed, easy-going vibe that truly feels like a home away from home. Breakfast was genuinely good, with a nice spread and solid vegetarian options as well. Vegetarian Indian travellers will have no trouble finding enough variety to eat comfortably. The staff deserve special mention. They were extremely professional, calm, and patient throughout my stay. Even during busy and slightly chaotic moments, they handled everything with composure and courtesy, which speaks highly of their training and attitude. I’m Indian myself, so I’ll say this honestly and respectfully. During my stay, a large Indian tour group checked in, and the noise levels and general lack of consideration did affect the otherwise peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. That was disappointing, not because of nationality, but because basic travel etiquette matters. When any of us travel abroad, our behaviour reflects not only on us individually, but also on how our nationality is perceived. That said, the hotel itself offers excellent value for money and I would absolutely recommend it. If you appreciate cleanliness, good service, and a comfortable stay, this property delivers. Travel well, be mindful, and this place will treat you very well in return.
