SACO Reading Castle Crescent

Very organized. They send you the instructions before your check in. All the pins worked and there were no issues. There was a nice welcome message from Ricky in the envelope, which was very nice. Ricky has overall been very helpful whenever we contacted him. The location of the accomodation is perfect. 10 to15 m walk to the city center. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was spacious, clean, very comfortable. The heating system was excellent. They also offer free parking. This was very helpful and convenient for family visits specially during holidays. You just need to inform in advance. The cleaning service comes once a week. And they also provide extra bin bags if necessary. Overall, I highly recommend. Good value for money. I would definitely come back again!

Just it would have been nice to have the netflix app on the tv. Also, the cookware was minimal. Need more pots and pans.

Not easy to locate keys . Overall very good response from host he will walk you through till you’re safe.

Great property, spacious and airy and bright. Location was also great, close to town and shops. Great host, Ricky exceeded our expectations. We were in quite late and he hung around and meet me at the top of the road, carried our cases, totally went above and beyond to ensure we were settled before he clocked off, awesome guy!!

Wardrobe doors in one room were defective and door handle came out in your hand, also no covers for sockets. We traveled with 2 and 1 year old so maybe something for the company to look into but on the whole we really enjoyed our stay and accommodation met our expectations.

I stayed a month with my son. I enjoyed staying there. The property is clean and tidy. The location is convenient. Walking to the station just within 20 minutes. The team members are very nice and helpful. Thanks to Ricky and Adrian!

The location was good, the area was quiet and easily accessible. The parking area was also very convenient and close to the property.

It wasn’t very clean, the dishwasher was broken and blocked and there was a very pungent stench in the kitchen area. There was no broom or mop to clean up.

The size of the apartment was great check in was easy good value for money. Comfy beds.

Highly recommend. The personal service from Ricky is second to none.

Staffs are nice and helpful. Private parking spots. Like the kitchen. The apartment is quiet and clean, very cozy.

Water pressure for shower is too weak. Sofa bad is too hard, not comfortable enough.

Mi è piaciuta molto la casa, appartamento ampio e ben dotato, accogliente

Pressoché nulla

Great property with east access. Spacious rooms, the bed and pillows were really comfy. We were greeted and shown how everything works by our friendly host. Plenty of parking spaces when we arrived and we felt super secure in the property and surrounding area. Only a ten minute walk into Reading. Would definitely use again if we came down.

Only downside, could've done with a couple more cooking trays/a grill pan.

Spacious and comfortable. There were ample towels and the facilities were good. Very close to main shopping district and public transport.

Clean

Stair rail was a bit shaky

Ricky was professional. Staff really kind.

Little bit old

The comfort of a house, warm cosy, peaceful

That the house was checked on the day after arrival.

The property was spacious and had all of the amenities needed. The staff responds to messages and was very helpful. There were a lot of parking spaces available. The place was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will book again if in Reading!

The check in process was slightly confusing as the key card needed to be collected from a different building to the apartment we got. So we had to go looking for which apartment was ours and since it was dark, it was slightly inconvenient. Having check out instructions on booking.com would be also helpful. Other than that everything was perfect!

The apartment was amazing- very spacious and quiet. I was able to unwind after a long day. It’s fully equipped s I was able to cook a meal .

The property map was hard to follow but a lovely customer helped me find my room.

Accueil excellent, emplacement idéal, confort, spacieux

L'ensemble est à rafraîchir décoration, peinture

Great space and facilities

Slightly pricy

Parking at back of building Nice and warm and clean

Dishwasher not working Condensation from single glazing, but appreciate would be expensive to upgrade Noise from flat above

The space and sleeping was comfortable, everything was provided as required

Nothing else as it met my expectations for the great price I paid

Very comfotable stay and very friendly and helpful staff.

Room was on top floor so awkward with kids and luggage.

Kitchen was okay, cooking facilities available

Mold in the shower. I was placed on the ground floor where there was a damp smell. Definitely not worth the price. Sink also has rust

Great apartment always a good service

Apartment 10C, safe locked, unable to unlock in bedroom with the ensuite Shower door in ensuite sometimes came.ofd the runners

I have stayed here several times and the apartments are very clean, spacious and comfortable with ample parking. Conveniently located in a quiet residential area around 10 min walk into the city centre. Ricky is super helpful and friendly and always delivers exceptional customer service!

Lovely spacious apartment, free cot provided, pretty clean and very nice staff

Very creaky floors, carpet in living room quote old and stained, parking spot very tight, shower cabin could use an upgrade

Schöne, große und helle Räume im 1. Stockwerk an einer ruhigen Wohnstraße. Bushaltestellen und Supermarkt (Tesco Express) in der Nähe. Gemütliche Ausstattung. Gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile. Kleines, zweckmäßiges Bad. Zum zweiten Mal bei SACO Reading Castle Crescent. Supportive and friendly Staff. Meine Wahl für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt in Reading steht schon fest.

Da fällt mir nichts ein.

The apartment was spacious and well located.

We were given a lower ground floor apartment while from the pictures were from the bright upstairs flats. Our living room windows overlooked a wall with very little lighting coming in. Had we known we would have not chosen this flat, but would have been happy to spend more on something nicer. When talking to staff they believed this was fair because flats are listed by size, but guests should be able to know if the flat is effectively underground. I would urge again the owners to make a dedicated listing for such apartments. The kitchen was big but could have had more items such as glasses, plates. There's a dishwasher but only a pair of tablets were provided for a week long stay and no liquid soap or scourer - do they expect all guests to buy a pack? Which we did. In general no products to keep the kitchen clean, especially if you stay longer. Moreover, shower was short, so a tall person needed to crunch; and sofa bed for the third guest was very bad quality , squeaky, wobbly and hollow. In general, it looked a lot more stylish and recently renovated from the pictures than in real life.

Lovely apartment, I enjoyed my stay very much.

The shower wasnt very good, it was very weak and difficult to get the right temperature.

The cozy apartment as was fabulous

Spacious home, with a kitchen and two toilets. Very quite area and free parking. Close to everything in Reading.

The downstairs kitchen area needed a bit more work, the cupboard doors were broken. Though the parking was free it was first come first serve.

Ricky was always available to help out with any issues

The fact that there are cleaners who come every week,,it would be nice to have a hoover available for people to use to keep place clean

Really nice accommodation, it was clean, tidy and just a really lovely building

I had a ground floor apartment with doors in the bedroom, I wasn't comfortable having them open so no air could get to the room at night. The walls are also thin and you can easily here when neighbours have the tv on

Great place to Stay in Reading! Will definitely come back next time.

Nice property in nice area.

Helpful staff let down by a dilapidated property. These apartments are in no way close to the standard of the photos in their listing. Burned and stained carpet, chipped work surfaces, grotty shower, broken items, squeaky floors, broken furniture. In fairness, the bed were comfortable and decent water pressure.

Great host, property was very clean, cutlery was available and cleaned before arrival. Apartment was very comfortable. Location is incredible and very close to the town and all essential facilities.

There was an issue with a broken gardern chair which shouldve been checked before arrival, however this was replaced very quickly as soon as I let the host know about the issue.

Easy friendly check in Spacious Great location Free secure parking Quiet

Dated decor...sofa needs replacing... bathroom wasn't very clean...no instructions to use the washer/dryer machine.... creaking floors throughout

Email has bugs, no reply. Colleagues are helpful in phone calls.

Only a 20min walk to the train station. Everything was extremely clean. The appartment had everything we needed. Parking right outside.

Comfortable, Clean, spacious and great location for what we needed.

Everything was good

Apartments are good size and facilities good. Host, although no personal interaction very friendly over phone and very accommodating and responsive to questions.

The fact that there wasn't a reception. Somewhere to wait or ask if room isn't available yet. Would like some direction how to use the washing machine and dishwasher. Would like some more glassware to cook food in oven. Also more cups etc, to make it more worthwhile to put on the washing machine. Also some direction to nearest busstop and which bus go to town. For foreners it would help a lot.

Casa bella, moderna, spaziosa. Ci tornerei assolutamente

Great sized room

Very easy to collect the key cards from a lock box.

Dishwasher didn't work. But this was minor inconvenience. Site host Ricky was very helpful in trying to troubleshoot. When that failed, he provided additional washing up supplies.

Easy to find and simple check-in. Comfortable and well appointed. Quiet location with safe off street parking.

The instructions for collecting the keys were easy and straight forward. Good parking, loved the property, comfortable bed and sofa. Lovely and clean, helpful staff. Overall enjoyed my stay, would stay again, would recommend.

The key cards did not work, so couldn't get into the property. Had issues contacting the correct SACO Team as the telephone numbers provided were for bookings. However, the person I spoke to was very helpful, took 30 mins before I could get into the property. The only other thing, it would be nice to have some oven dishes to use and only one baking tray. I also couldn't access the manuals for the appliances.

Property has cracks all around the roof etc look ancient, no toilet paper provided for a broken toilet that constantly stank of sewage, shower no matter what you do soaks the entire bathroom, Property has basically no stock IE, no extra blankets or pillows etc, if your cold like us you’ve got to deal with it as heating doesn’t even work, only plus is it had a nice cold fan.

Top bedden

Clean spacious apartment in a really nice building. Easy checkin and checkout

Through booking and own website i got spamed with fishing messages asking for my credit card..strange stuff

Great location in a quiet area.

Some parts were a little dated and small - kitchen/front room for a party of 4, however it’s fine if you’re not using it for cooking/eating in

Good location, generally clean and comfortable.

My wife stayed there for more than a week, and during that time they never bothered to unblock the shower, despite multiple request. Hair and other matter would bubble up through the drain.

Ruim appartement met twee badkamers. Op loopafstand van het centrum van Reading.

Niks.

Great stay. The manager that welcomed me - Ricky - was really, really helpful.

Very close to Reading town centre, with good parking as long as you arrived quite early.

Thin curtains on the downstairs window to avoid having to put the blind down for privacy.

We loved hoe well presented the apartment was. Modern, clean ,comfy and lots of space. It had everything we needed. Really easy booking and access, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Nothing, the only reason we didn't give a 10 out of 10 was that the bin didn't work and was a bit of a pain to open! But that was the only thing. Great apartment.

My apartment was well-located and served my needs

Clean - fresh - quiet and central

No milk

Great location close to shops and pubs

Front door slams when someone goes in or out thin walls

It was very quiet at night. The beds were comfortable and the staff were lovely and accommodating. The parking was a bonus.

The sofa wasn’t comfortable, the panel on the side of the bath was rotting and there were stains on the carpet. It wasn’t as nice as the photos or reviews in our opinion and needs some updating. Having booked a superior 2 bedroom we expected it to be on the ground floor and have access to shared garden space but should have checked the small print and relied less on the photos.
