Great area to stay in, well connected to transport network and a few minutes away from the touristy part of Balat. While the outside of the hotel is very unassuming, the room and sanitary facilities were perfectly clean, with towels and shower products provided. You can wash your clothes for free, but have to find a way to dry it in your room (I used the clothes hangers and closet doors, worked just fine). Staff is extremely nice, the breakfast provided is quite good. You can leave your bags after check-out to explore before you leave the city. The hotel comes with cute furry friends that are just begging to be pet at all times.

The owner was so helpful and friendly, and he really made the hotel feel like home! The location was great, a few minutes from the water, in the evening it's nice to go for a walk along the water towards Eminonu. It was easy to get the tram or bus from very near the hotel. I had a very yummy lentil soup for breakfast!! The wifi was great and my room was lovely. I will definitely come back next time I visit Istanbul!

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfreich. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist es top! Gut gelegen, gemütliche und saubere Betten. Frühstück ist ausreichend. Komme gerne wieder.

Einerseits ist es schön und bewundernswert, dass der Inhaber so vielen Katzen ein Zuhause gibt. Diese heulen manchmal in der Nacht und kann störend sein. Aber ansonsten finde ich es ganz ok.

Das Personal war sehr gut, nur ein Mitarbeiter verhielt sich respektlos.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, riechen angenehm und sind sauber. Die Hotellobby riecht jedoch furchtbar nach Tieren. Katzen sind überall, auf den Tischen und im gesamten Hotelbereich. Deshalb können wir dort nicht mehr frühstücken gehen, da ich eine Tierhaarallergie habe.

The hotel is more like a guest house. The energy in this accommodation was really good. The owner knows English very well, and he is such a good-hearted person. The lady who prepared the breakfast was ADORABLE. And the breakfast was varied, big, and delicious. There are adorable cats in this hotel, and they are silent and playful. The internet was fast, the location was good, near good local restaurants with good prices, and a 3-minute walk to Posa Specialty Coffee Roastery. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were clean, and the room was clean. The bathroom was nice also. Don't expect 5 stars or luxury, expect good energy, nice vibes, an amazing owner, and friendly staff. There was a link at the sink, but this can be fixed, and didn't bother us. Be aware that there is a mosque nearby, and around 4:30 a.m., there is a prayer. Bring earplugs, and you will be fine.

Приветливый персонал. Нужно быть готовым к тому, что кошки обитают прям с ресепшена. Ходят по диванам и присутствие шерсти . Рядом ( в зданиях по соседству) как минимум 2 мечети. Спать придется с перерывами тк громкоговоритель начинает вещать с 4.30 утра примерно... Звукоизоляция слабая

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and even helped us carry our suitcases up to the room, which we really appreciated. They were very kind and attentive throughout our stay. We also loved the charming cats and dogs on the property, made the atmosphere even more cozy. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Balat district, making it very convenient for exploring the area. Overall, a lovely experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to others!

Sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Tolles Frühstück, gesund, vielfältig und vollkommen ausreichend. Nur 200 Mter von der nächsten Tram entfernt, dann 3 Stationen bis zur Galata-Brücke.

Es gibt leider keinen Aufzug. (Schwere) Koffer schleppen durch das schmale Treppenhaus.

I enjoyed staying at Lotus Hotel for two nights. The host was friendly and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was good, and I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good quality, affordable place to stay in Istanbul.

Был отличный персонал, который с радостью нам помог разобраться во всем. И рекомендуем брать трансфер из аэропорта через отель. Так как внезапно поменялась погода и такси стало х2, а паромы не ходили.

The host are so so friendly and helpfulk, breakfast was classic Turkish and good too. The neightborhood around is actually great for exploration on cultures of Istanbul, so the location of the hotel is great!

С первого, по последний день были в восторге от отеля, особенно понравилось добродушие и отношение Хозяина отеля Мурата и его помощницы Наны, замечательные люди 😍 Всегда спрашивали нет ли никаких проблем, нужно ли что либо, всячески решали вопросы и помогали по мере возможности. В номере есть все необходимое, даже очиститель воздуха. Так же очень понравилось местоположение отеля, район пропитан колоритом Турции, все что может вас привлечь находится прямо возле отеля. Рядом отставка со всеми видами транспорта, которые едут по всем ключевым локациям, так же рядом много бюджетных кафешек, и магазинов по типу BİM и Sök маркет. Намерены возвращаться именно в этот отель ❤️

Первый раз были в Стамбуле с женой , выбрали этот отель из за высоких оценок и отзывов и не прогадали. Просторный и чистый номер с приятным ценником, есть завтрак до 11.00 утра. На ресепшене нас встречала Нана, подавала нам сытные завтраки. Очень приветливые, и отзывчивый люди! Рядом с отелем можно вкусно поужинать, много местных кафешек. Спасибо большое. Будем рады приехать ещё не раз! Привет Вуралу и Нане!

Это прекрасное место, отличающееся особым гостеприимством, очень вкусными завтраками, приятной домашней атмосферой и клевыми кошками :) В номере было чисто и уютно, кровати с удобными матрасами, было все необходимое для комфортного пребывания.

Близко к остановкам трамвая, метро. Рядом набережная, можно гулять. Магазины с продуктами, много ресторанчиков и кафе рядом в Балате. Приветливые хозяева. В номере тепло, и открывается окно.

Нет лифта, если нести вещи наверх. Но мне помогали.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The location 150 meters from the edge of the sea along the Golden Horn makes it delightful, and hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. However, the owner/concierge is simply outstanding. He is kind-hearted and very helpful! Since he is extremely knowledgeable about Istanbul, his advice is simply priceless. His kindness and good sense of humor were undoubtedly the best thing about the hotel. All of the sweet kitty-cats that he has rescued are pretty nice too! Unless you are severely allergic to cats, I really recommend this as your first choice for a place to stay in the Fatih district.

Auf Fußdistanz vom Zentrum in einem Wohnviertel mit vielen lokalen Geschäfften und sehr preiswerten Restaurants. Sehr nettes Personal und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Zimmer im Winter schön warm.

Der initiale Eindruck, da ich direkt aus einem 5 Sterne Luxushotel kam, ließ mich zuerst erschrecken. Dennoch war das Hotel Lotus fantastisch, somit bin ich 10 Tage geblieben.

Не смотря на позднее прибытие (после 22:00) нас ждали и очень быстро заселили вместо 3-х местного в 4-х местный номер. Номер чистый, белье и полотенца белоснежные. Кровати мягкие, удобные. В номере холодильник и чайник. Персонал очень доброжелательный, хозяева радушные. Завтрак вкусный. Отель удобно расположен по отношению к основным достопримечательностям.

Фото с сайта не соответствует действительности, хозяин очень грубый человек оказался (обиделся на слова что номер не такой, что он старый и есть запах и цена завышена учитывая как далеко от центра расположен отель) сразу начал ругаться, очень странный тип. Только в отеле Битер персонал хороший и всё (на 1 ночь я там осталась)

Выше описала что Не понравилось. Так как ничего не понравилось. Номер в другом их отеле предложили но и он тоже просто не соответствует тем оценкам что указаны на букинг. Завтрак - это не завтрак ( все сухое, старое холодное)

Loved all the cats! The owners also set us up with a late night taxi ride to the airport. Was a wonderful place to stay in Balat. Highly recommend!

Мне понравилось все. Душевные хозяева, вкусные и сытные завтраки, очень удобная локация. Остановки общественного транспорта очень рядом, можно уехать в любую часть города. Улочки рядом очень колоритные. Небольшие магазины тоже рядом.

Очень милый отель, который навсегда останется в сердце ❤️ мы надеемся в него вернуться, так как он незаметно стал очень родным и домашним. Огромную роль в теплом приеме играет душевный персонал. Мы подружились и с сотрудниками, и с животными 🤍 которых здесь очень много. Местоположение отеля очень приятное - до ближайших достопримечательностей можно добраться на трамвае, который идёт вдоль красивой береговой линии. В трёх минутах ходьбы от отеля есть выход к набережной, по которой приятно гулять и днём, и ночью. Также в пяти минутах ходьбы есть паромная станция Fener, с которой можно доплыть в другие районы Стамбула - например, в Азию. Сотрудница ресепшна прекрасно говорит по-английски (что в Турции редкость), очень дружелюбная и внимательная. Нам дали больший номер, чем мы бронировали, это стало замечательным сюрпризом. Завтраки были вкусными, не в формате шведского стола, а готовились индивидуально. Мы наедались почти на целый день. Бесплатный вай-фай работал очень хорошо! Для меня это было важно, так как моя работа включает много созвонов. Интернет не подвёл, я очень благодарна достоверной информации о нём. Комната была комфортной, в душе была приятная горячая вода, гель для душа, шампуни.

Нужно учитывать, что отель находится рядом с мечетью, поэтому в 5 утра и позже в течение дня вы будете слышать громкие молитвы. Также хотелось бы добавить вешалки в ванную комнату - у меня всегда возникают сложности в отелях с тем, куда положить вещи в ванной.

The staff is very nice and helpful. We had an issue on the first night but it was promptly solved. Good location, close to the tram station. Also, if you love cats this is the place to be.

Stairs only. If you carry a lot of baggage it will be difficult to come to the room. The rooms aren’t very sound proof, so you will wake up with the mosque calling.

Хозяева и персонал очень гостеприимные,хоть много кошек в отеле,но очень чисто,завтраки очень вкусные и сытные,номера чистые,расположение прекрасное,остановка автобусная и трамвайная очень близко и можно уехать в любую точку города спокойно. Район спокойный,живут в основном местные,поэтому и цены в кафе адекватные и даже местами дешевле)

Trato excepcional por parte del personal. Muy buen desayuno, con algunas variaciones cada día. Habitaciones espaciosas. Ambiente cómodo y familiar. Totalmente recomendable.

Accueil chaleureux et beaucoup de bonne volonté pour que tout se passe le mieux possible. Il s'agit d'un hôtel familial d'une douzaine de chambres tenu par un couple. Les chambres sont propres et possèdent tout ce dont vous avez besoin, espace de rangement, produits d'hygiène, prises de courant, et s'il manque quelque chose, ils feront tout pour vous satisfaire. Pas de luxe mais des attentions appréciables. (Une fontaine d'eau en libre service, possibilité de laver son linge, horaires souples,...). Le petit déjeuner est servi avec gentillesse et soin, il est copieux et arrive avec le sourire. J'ai aimé l'emplacement dans un quartier authentique, populaire et vivant avec peu de touristes, tout en étant à quelques minutes à pied de la cohue de Balat. Un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Merci pour tout !

Les 72 marches à monter pour atteindre le dernier étage (mais cela fait faire du sport !) Si vous n'aimez pas les chats(17) et chiens(2), cet endroit n'est pas fait pour vous. Ce sont les rois du logis.

The hotel is running by a super-nice family speaking minimum three languages who unexpectedly provided us a room more spacious than we booked. The hotel is located a little to the side of the main attractions but it wasn't a problem since we are used to walking (it takes ~30 minutes to walk either to the St. Sophia Cathedtral or to the Galata Tower). For those, who are not used to walk on foot, there's a tram stop nearby. The room is clean and equipped with all the necessary things. The breakfast will start to be prepared as soon your coming to it, so, if you need to leave soon, add ~7-10 minutes waiting for the breakfast being cooked and served for you. Also, allergic people should mind the cats and dogs the hotel owners care for; we knew about the pets' presence so it was nice to meet them. Those who don't like to get up early, better take into account that there's a mosque in the close neighbourhood so the muezzin starts calling to prayer before the dawn. The transfer the hotel can organize is also great (a car trip to the IST airport takes 1h10m Friday afternoon due to the traffic).

Sometimes the front door of the hotel is locked, but there is always anybody at the reception desk to let you in after you appeared behind the door or knocked it.

Все було супер! Дуже приємні господарі,допомагали нам в кожній складній ситуації. Ми приїхали пізно,о дванадцятій годині ночі,хозяйка готелю нас нагодувала,напоїла чаєм,навіть все це принесла на підносі в кімнату.дуже рекомендую цей готель.

Rien à dire, tout était parfait de A à Z pour un prix bas : petit-déjeuner, literie, calme... Mention spéciale à la gentillesse des propriétaires et à leurs nombreux chats (et chiens) avec lesquels j'ai passé beaucoup de temps. Les fous de chats seront à leur place ici.

Fantastic place. It’s not really a hotel, more like a family owned guesthouse. Location is great. No tourists, just local businesses, good food, cheap markets. I loves doga and cats in reception/dining area. Pets aren’t there during breakfast, which is smart. Room was good, everyrhing was there. I had some difficulties during my stay and staff helped a lot. That was one of my best booking experiences ever.

Gospodarze są bardzo mili, pomocni i dbają o swoich gości. Bardzo dobre śniadania. W hotelu mieszka dużo kotów i dwa pieski, co czyni to miejsce wyjątkowym i przyjaznym rodzinom. Pani domu to bardzo empatyczna i komunikatywna osoba. Serdecznie pozdrawiam, jeżeli kiedykolwiek jeszcze odwiedzę Istambuł, z pewnością tam zawitam 🙏🏻😌

Отзывы соответствуют действительности. Отель без изысков, семейный, четкое соотношение цена/качество. В качестве переночевать отлично. Постель чистая, удобная. Номер не маленький. С водой проблем не было. Интернет хороший. Нормальные завтраки, не меняются, но наесться можно: индивидуальная тарелка закусок (несколько видов сыра, джем, масло, мед, оливки/маслины, чуть овощей), вкусный хлеб, яичница, немного фруктов (меняются). Несколько раз был дополнительно чечевичный суп. Чай, кофе (растворимый, хотелось бы натуральный). Спрашивают, надо ли убрать в комнате. Нормальное местоположение, рядом трамвай и автобусная остановка. 2 остановки до метро, 3 до причала Эмине. Пешком до площади Султанахмет минут 40. Рядом симпатичная набережная с яхтами и лавочками. Возле отеля много кафе со вкусной недорогой едой (типа стритфуда. Если стоять спиной к отелю - налево метров через 20 по этой же стороне на углу есть что-то типа местной столовой, дешево.). Есть пара магазинчиков, в том числе с алкоголем (поразил выбором напитков). Хозяева отеля хорошо говорят по-английски, искренне стараются сделать пребывание гостей комфортным. В первой половине дня в отеле работает грузинка Нана, говорит по-русски, очень отзывчивая. Я люблю животных и с удовольствием их тискала весь период проживания, но для кого-то наличие 17 кошек может быть минусом. Живут они в общей зоне, по этажам не ходят)) В отель можно со своими животными.

над одной кроватью светильник был нормальный, а над двумя горел странным тускло-фиолетовым светом. И ночником назвать сложно, и для чтения не подходит. Хотелось был нормальные вешалки, а то имеющиеся слишком хлипкие и разномастные. В целом я не рассчитывала на уровень сетевых отелей, внимательно читала отзывы, поэтому разочарования от отеля не было.

TOUT absolument tout mon séjour était parfait. Les explications claires avant l'arrivée, l'accueil même tardif, un super petit déjeuné, une chambre propre confortable simple mais bien équipée. Les conseils des gérants et leur disponibilité sont également au top. De plus, j'ai eu le droit a une attention spéciale le jour de mon anniversaire où j'ai reçu un gâteau avec une bougie c'était adorable.

Friendliest staff, great location (loved the area, very lively yet unpretentious, well connected with public transport) and well furnished, clean rooms. The lobby is a cat shelter but very clean (don't know how they do it).

To keep the cats safe, the door was locked. There is always someone to open for you, though.

Завтрак был вкусным и сытным. Наночка просто супер хозяйка. В следующий раз обязательно зарезервирую этот отель. Я почувствовала себя , как у старых знакомых.

Great location, lovely neighborhood, amazing staff. Best place I stayed in Istanbul. Great little restaurants all around, in a very regular person part of Istanbul. Also, they have two dogs and mini cats, and they are all very friendly, which is great. Very clean.
