Super clean!

Some of it was a bit dated. Renovated but just over top of old finishings.

Good location it was a small room but had good shower and easy access to everything in the area. All shop close within 5 minute drive.

Very cold, not enough blankets, didn’t know how to work the heat pump / air conditioner, not enough space between the toilet and tub, I’m only 5 feet tall but still banged my knees everytime I had to wipe after toilet use, tub too narrow to relax in a bath.

Very clean, comfortable beds, close to everything. Pleasant staff, easy check in and out. Quiet , no loud noises.

Room is dirty. TV remote is greasy with scrap of food stuck between the buttons. Anyway TV works for 1 minute and when I tried to change channel, shows no input signal. Table has grease marks so not cleaned properly. AC did't work well. It was raining si when I tried to increase temp, it remains cold and fan speed cannot be adjusted. Ceiling fan also did't work. Car park where my unit was was a gravel car park with large potholes filled with water from the rain. Bedspread was partially torned and blanket other than the bed flat sheet and bed spread. Have to get blankets from office. Bathroom sink was slow to drain suggesting partial blockage. Got up early and left ad quickly as we can

Etat tres discutable, la chambre necessitait entretien et réparations (porte de la salle de bains avec un gros trou dedans, laisser ca dans un tel etat témoigne du peu d'interet du proprietaire) . Tout est approximatif et peu entretenu. Vieux matelas a ressort , tres mou.

Dirty, old, swear there were bed bugs bc we all woke up with bug bites. Nothing like the pictures. Way over priced.

Nice little apartment. Kitchen, and seating. Good bed, and shower. Park at the door. Quiet at the back but minutes from food.

The bed was awful

The motel is a good solution for a one-night stay. It is relatively close to the city centre. Rather anonymous, and the location is not exactly romantic.

No breakfast, office could provide fruit along with beverages, in western Canada we always stay @ hotels that include continental breakfasts, something to think about for future guests

Really nice place, super nice staff. There is stuff around for dining options. Rooms are big and very clean.

Location and value

The room and bathroom were clean. The grab bars in the bathroom were plentiful making it easy for my friend to access space based on individual needs and mobility. The counter with coffee machine was well stocked and the milkettes (instead of powered coffee whitener) was very much appreciated. Access to parking by room number was also appreciated. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

Sofa chairs were used at the round table making it difficult to reach the table as I sank into sofa. Signage in the room about location of ice and filtered water would have been helpful.

Great location. Close to most amenities. Pet friendly Clean and well appointed for the price. The staff member who checked us in was informative and very friendly.

Nos hicieron upgrade de habitación a una más grande. Buen precio para ser Canadá. Accesible fácilmente desde la autopista. Cerca hay supermercados y el centro del pueblo no está lejos para dar un paseo y tomar algo

Tiene cocina pero apenas tiene utensilios con lo que no es muy útil. Poca luz en la habitación. El baño no demasiado limpio. Es un motel justito y modesto, para pasar una noche de paso a buen precio está ok.

It was reasonably priced

Check in was very delayed. Two rooms were ready but one wasn’t. Was told at 4pm check i time it would be ready in 30 mins but then twenty mins later checked and was told it wouldn’t be done for 45 minutes. Ended up getting in to that room around 440?450? If check in is at 3pm we would have expected the rooms to be done for sure by 4pm. So this was frustrating as we needed to get ready for a wedding. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the rooms, the bed didn’t have a top sheet, out of the three booked. The rooms were upgraded by staff so that was kind. The delayed check in just put a damper on it because we needed to get ready (shower and do hair) to drive 45 mins away for a wedding so it was valuable time we needed to be getting prepared.

Was an excellent place to stay. Great staff and the room has everything we needed and more! Room was easy to find. Will definitely recommend! Thanks so very much.

Bien situer

The location was really excellent. It was clean, but at first we were put in room 108 Which was Way down at another part of the hotel with kind of a sketchy parking lot and it smelled moldy. The screen was broken. The TV didn’t work and we booked a queen size bed then told it was two two queen size beds and it was two doubles so we asked to change and our next room was much better and closer to the office. So room 107 was better for sure.

The far side was old and smelled and things didn’t work

Location: Conveniently located along the main drag of Antigonish (James St.) Room: 2 x Queen bed room came with a full kitchenette (full size fridge, stove, sink, microwave)

Some rooms could use some renovations/touch ups, however, they were very clean and functional nonetheless.

Hairdryer was listed in property description but there is no hairdryer in room

The room was ok, it was a little cold when we arrived, the beds were comfortable

The bathroom could use some Javex as there was a lot of mold on the shower wall and in the corner by the toilet. There was only 1 remote for 2 TVS

How close it is to everything

Not much

Very convenient to highway traveling from south Nova Scotia to Cape Breton Island. Short drive to Main Street in town.

Have to drive to eat anything other than fast food.

great location. very clean room. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Location - close to food sources. Allowed pet. Had a vacancy.

Gaps around the door. No chain lock. Gaping hole around door lock install. Transparent curtains. Cleaner barged in without knocking, asking, warning at 8am. I was afraid to change clothes and didn’t dare shower. Dark brown towels that have never seen a drop of bleach.

There were about 8 bugs that were on the walls and on the floor when we got there

There was no breakfast option. We had a room that could accommodate our little dog. The fridge ans microwave were a bonus! The coffee machine didn’t work. Location was excellent walking distance to St FX

Bed coils have been a bit softer.

Right in the middle of town, restaurants in walking distance. Lots of parking. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Clean towels and garbage removal was very quick and efficient. Wifi was free and there was a few channels on cable.

The fridge froze our food solid, the bathroom doorframe touches your knees when you sit on the toilet, the window is huge directly next to the bed so the light wakes you up first thing in the morning.

the room was very clean and staff very friendly. the area was nice and quiet. and very peacefully.

I felt was an issue was the pillows but not the hotel fault my neck needs a particular lvl of soft vs support. and wifi when rain was really hvy it went out a little which can't be helped.

It was a cool night and staff were very helpful to come to the room & assist us to turn on the wall mounted heating unit! It was so nice to have a third chair at the coffee table just inside the door.

A nice picture on the wall of an attraction in Antigonish. Maybe a park or a local beach view.

We were upgraded to a larger room and the staff member went out of his way to answer my questions. Truly awesome staff.

Location

Room was extremely small, tv screen was all lines and we had volume on 4 channels. Bed was a double not a queen as advertised. Shower was extremely slippery, no bath mat provided. The plugs were so loose, that anything we plugged in would fall out. Wired smoke detector hanging by a wire from the ceiling. Huge gap under the door.

No breakfast served, but plenty of food outlets within walking distance.

Stayed during a snow storm, they don't have plowing or snow clearing service. I got stuck in the parking lot. No one answers their phone, or responds to emails

The beds were hard as rocks and not comfortable at all. Should have mattress toppers put on the beds to soften them up a bit

It was close to all amenities , came up to visit granddaughter at stfx , so it was a close walk there and around the small town , very nice stay

They don't have services during snow storms, got stuck in their parking lot, don't have a plow company on contract to plow for guests needing to get out and don't shovel doorsteps or doorways out. If not for a couple good Samaritans I wouldn't have gotten to work. Also no after hours number that anyone would answer. Sent an email and still waiting for a reply

Location wasn't to bad and the place seemed clean. The price was equivalent to an older style place with not many updates.

The beds were hard and the light switch didn't work. We waited at the front desk, checking in and out with no one around for an extended period of time. Plus the exit doors were slamming all night and we found it quite hard to sleep.
