Reviewed Sep 8, 2026It was nice and comfy, and it felt quite safe even though it’s downtown. And also, because it was downtown, it was very close to everything. Great location! The facility was nice, clean and quiet. Well organized too.
It would have been nice to have a communal microwave/kettle to make hot water.

The loud carpark outside of my window but it wasn't too bad and I mostly went back to sleep after a truck noisily parked.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The location is brilliant. There were options for paid parking (close) or free parking a few blocks away. We used the Urbanz discount to get cheaper parking right next door. The room was basic but comfortable - exactly what I expected for the price. The upgraded bathrooms are a bonus.
There was a faint smell in our room that wasn't particularly pleasant, but we opened up the windows and aired the room out, so it was fine.

Amazing well equipped Cooking Facilities (huge kitchen) with plenty of cooking tools, ovens, pots, modern appliances... where guests gather every lunch/dinner to enjoy meals. Nice and helpful staff.
Room is very very small, not enough space to stay and no closet to keep clothes (just bed + small space on the side to leave the luggage) Expensive for what is offered, but not cheaper options around

Reviewed May 17, 2026This motel is very large, with complete facilities and a well-organized environment. It also has its own unique culture. I think the location is very convenient, and I really like it here.
The paid parking lots nearby are too far away. Even if you use paid parking, it’s still not very convenient. This place is more suitable for backpackers or people without a car.

I accidentally left my phone behind after leaving Christchurch, and the reception team safely kept it for me until my next stay. I really appreciated their honesty and support.
Nothing negative to mention. Everything was perfect during my stay.

Reviewed Apr 28, 2026The facilities were above what we expected, very clean and orderly. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The location was exceptional, allowing us to walk wherever we needed or extremely close to the super stop bus terminal that ran to every where we wanted. Plenty of cafe's, pubs and restaurants within 100m of the door.
Room was over heated during the day. Though it had very cheap soft drinks it would have been nice if they actually had a bar on site as the lounge was good to hang out in but that is probably unrealalistic.
