Tout était parfait, peut être de l'eau bien fraîche avec un petit frigo dans la chambre.

Emanuele and Liliya were amazing hosts, they both made us feel welcome and at home, we absolutely loved the location and care shown by everyone here.

Ein absoluter Traum – von A bis Z! Die Gastgeber Emanuele & Liliya sind einfach fantastisch. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wie zu Hause. Der Service ist extrem aufmerksam, herzlich und absolut kundenorientiert. Auf Wunsch kann man sich auch abends mit einem marokkanischen oder italienischen Menü von Emanuele verwöhnen lassen. Alles war blitzblank und gepflegt. Die Lage ist perfekt und unschlagbar zentral, draußen der pulsierende Souk, drinnen eine Oase der Ruhe. Fazit: Wir sind restlos begeistert und kommen ganz sicher wieder! Wir hatten einfach einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Riad Maipa.

Everything was fantastic. The owners Liliya and Emanuele are lovely people who can’t do enough for you and are there for whatever you need. The same goes for all the staff including Aziz who are there around the clock to help with any questions. Rooms, terrace and breakfast were all perfect and would not hesitate to stay here again.

I also appreciated getting to hear the history behind the Riad and key points of the city. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We liked the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness and quiet vibe of the Riad. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff was very attentive. The hotelkeepers are lovely and very welcoming. They helped us get the most of our trip and made meaningful suggestions. The rooftop was very nice as well.

I had a wonderful stay at Riad Maipa in Marrakech. The location is perfect—close to everything and relaxing, making it an ideal escape from the busy streets. The riad itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful traditional details that give it a truly authentic Moroccan feel. Everything was spotless, and you can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining it. One of the many highlights was the rooftop, which offers lovely views of the Atlas Mountains such a special touch, especially at sunrise or sunset. The atmosphere throughout the riad is peaceful, making it perfect for unwinding. The breakfast each morning was amazing, with a great selection and fresh, delicious options. What really made the stay exceptional, though, was the team. Everyone was so attentive and welcoming, and the host Liliya in particular went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable as a solo traveller. Her service was outstanding and genuinely warm. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech with my 5th visit to the city this is one of the best i have stayed at, it’s a place where you can relax. I booked a Tour and Hammam via the Riad all great experiences and highly recommend. Also it is better to pay a little more and arrange the taxi service via the Riad as they can drop you to the door.

The breakfasts each morning were delicious and varied, and you can really see how much love and care has gone into the restoration of the riad. Our engagement was made incredibly special with so many thoughtful little touches throughout our stay. Perfect location too — just a short walk from the main square. We would 100% recommend staying here!

Il Riad di Emanuele e Liliya si trova nel cuore della medina. Ci si arriva in pochi minuti da piazza Jemaa El Fna, percorrendo una strada molto viva anche di sera. È una struttura meravigliosa, tenuta con grande cura e attenzione ai dettagli. La nostra camera era grande e confortevole, dotata di tutto il necessario e anche di piacevoli sorprese. La colazione è deliziosa e ricca di prelibatezze. La prima sera abbiamo anche scelto di cenare e abbiamo trovato tutto ottimo. L'accoglienza e la cortesia dei gestori e dello staff è sicuramente il punto di forza di questo gioiello, che consigliamo con la certezza di non essere smentiti.

Ci è piaciuto tutto tanto che ci è dispiaciuto andarcene.

Eigenaren Emanuele en zijn echtgenote zijn uitzonderlijk gastvrij, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Evenals hun personeel. Op de uitkijk komen staan en persoonlijk contact opnemen als de riad door de taxichauffeur op aankomstdag even niet meteen gevonden kan worden, ongevraagd speciaal voor ons iemand om een lastige boodschap naar de souks sturen, een jas uitlenen uit de eigen garderobe, de kamer tot laat in de middag mogen blijven gebruiken op onze vertrekdag - het zijn allemaal zeker geen vanzelfsprekende zaken in een hotel en je voelt je er als gast extra welkom door. Eigenaren en personeel spreken Engels, Frans, Italiaans, Spaans, Arabisch, Russisch eventueel; een praatje tussendoor dat ook eens verder gaat dan over het weer - werkelijk een bijzonder aangename, persoonlijke stijl. En dan heb ik de afwerking, aankleding, inrichting van de binnentuin, de terrassen, de kamers nog niet genoemd. Of de kwaliteit en originaliteit van het dagelijkse overheerlijke ontbijt.

Werkelijk niets. Maïpa is een ware oase van rust en sereniteit temidden van de chaos en de drukte van de medina. Als er dan toch één ding is dat ik hier moet opgeven, dan misschien het ontbreken van een algemeen toilet. De vijf prachtige kamers van de riad hebben ieder een toilet in de badkamer, maar soms is het fijn een algemeen toilet te hebben ergens in het gebouw. Dat is er ook wel, maar het komt op de gast over als het personeelstoilet. Absoluut niet bezwaarlijk en - nogmaals - allerminst een minpunt, maar je voelt je als gast een beetje een indringer als je er gebruik van maakt. Tegelijkertijd: het gebouw is zo mooi en met gevoel voor autenticiteit en stijl gerestaureerd en gerenoveerd, dat het technisch waarschijnlijk lastig zou zijn nu nog ergens een (groter) apart gastentoilet te maken: er zou iets moois voor moeten worden opgeofferd. Dus: alle begrip!

An excellent stay at this beautiful riad. The care and dedication the team have put into the refurbishment, working with local artisans, is on display throughout. Breakfast was extremely generous, the staff attentive and kind. We were upgraded to the terrace suite and the room was stunning. Thank you so much. The location is also excellent.

Amazing hospitality. Liliya & Emanuele were exceptional hosts. Very kind and attentive. Housekeeping did a fantastic job tending to the room each day. Property is in a great location and offered complete serenity from the bustling streets of the Medina. My wife and I looked forward to the calm and tasty breakfast each morning.

loved Emanuelle and Liliya’s attention to every detail; an oasis from the daily battle of Marrakesh streets. Their staff is superb; their food - breakfast, teas, and dinner - best we had. The terrace is fantastic place to take an afternoon off contemplating. And most of all this couple are professionally trained hoteliers with experience across countries- citizens of the world with a hospitality mindset that is one of the best I have experienced amongst 62 countries I have visited

my only concern was the fact that you had to fight the crowds on Derby Debachi to get to this oasis; but what choice if you want to experience the Medina in its fullest and what better way to relax at end of day

We absolutely loved the riad. Everything is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, and the traditional atmosphere is beautifully preserved. It feels very cozy and welcoming. The breakfast was beautifully served and made with fresh local organic products. The location is also very central, which made everything even more convenient. Our hosts, Liliya and her husband were incredibly kind and helped us organize our activities.

A beautifully restored riad tucked away in the heart of the old town. The hosts were extremely kind and attentive.

This is by far one of the most amazing boutique accommodations we have ever stayed at. From beginning to end our stay was perfect. The room is beautiful and clean. We had set up a dinner for our first night in the riad, as we were arriving after dark, and our 3 course meal was one of the best we had. The owners of this property are some of the most hospitable hotel staff we have come across. It is clear to see they not only passionate about delivering exceptional service, but also have a great love for Marrakesh.

There was nothing negative to say about this property. Just note its entrance is not reachable by car, as MOST properties in the heart of the medina are not. So i would not say this is a negative just something to keep in mind. The owners of the riad were kind enough to escort my husband and I with our luggage from our car transfer to the Riad in the pouring rain.

Das Riad ist eine Oase an bester Lage. Das Ziimmer war gross und geschmackvoll eingerichttet wie das ganze Haus. Die Terrasse war sehr gemütlich, haben wir jeden Tag genutzt, auch den warmen Whirlpool. Das Frühstück war sehr grosszügig, es gab jeden Tag ein warmes marokanisches Eiergericht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gastgeberin hat uns persönlich empfangen und wir fühlten uns sofort angekommen. Jeden Morgen hat sie das Frühstück selber serviert. Eine herzensgute Gastgeberin.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of the Medina. The Riad is absolutely beautiful. Liliya is an absolutely brilliant host and very knowledgeable. Fatima's breakfast were to die for.

Both Nicola and I absolutely loved staying here and would highly recommend it to anybody. We particularly like that is in the middle of where it's all happening.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Marrakesh. Great location just off a well lit main street, but a beautiful oasis inside the Riad itself. The owners were exceptional hosts; extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the food was top notch. Would definitely stay here again.

Liliya and Emanuele were the perfect hosts. They payed attention to every detail and over delivered in terms of service. They really went out of their way to provide top tier service, like you would find at a 5 star hotel. I hurt my ankle and they automatically sent ice to the room, remembered our breakfast preferences and assisted with excellent restaurant recommendations. The riad is stunning and our room was very comfortable and beautiful. You can’t have a better location, right in the heart of everything but peaceful and quiet at night.

Il riad è curato in ogni minimo dettaglio: camere splendide, pulizia impeccabile, silenzio assoluto e una terrazza meravigliosa dove rilassarsi dopo una giornata nella medina. Ma ciò che rende davvero speciale il Riad Maipa sono le persone. Un ringraziamento di cuore a Emanuele e Liliya: due padroni di casa straordinari. Sempre presenti, gentili, disponibili e attenti ad ogni esigenza, ci hanno fatto sentire non semplicemente ospiti, ma amici. I loro consigli su cosa visitare, dove mangiare e come vivere al meglio l’esperienza sono stati preziosissimi. Colazioni deliziose, atmosfera intima e un’accoglienza che scalda il cuore. È uno di quei posti in cui si arriva come viaggiatori e si riparte con il desiderio di tornare il prima possibile. From the warm welcome, kindness and hospitality of staff, the delicious breakfast, the interior decorations and attention to detail, the rooftop, to the kind help with booking trips, guidance on restaurants, booking of airport transport etc etc. We loved it - thank you!

Excellent staff, very helpful and always there for advice. My wife and I were presented with birthday and anniversary celebration flowers/cakes, which was fabulous. The owners are justifiably very proud of what they have achieved and they should be supported. Great Riad, perfect location and an absolute oasis of calm in the middle of the medina. The staff and owners were fantastic, very attentive and friendly, we felt very looked after. The breakfast spread and the Moroccan dinner they can provide was lovely and they were very accommodating with both of our dietary requirements. It was a great convenient location in the old town.

There was barely anything we didn't like, the only thing was my partner hit his head a number of times on the low doors, so just something to watch out for if you're also tall!

We stayed 5 days here, and what a wonderful experience, the Riad was a haven of tranquility and easy to find ( a few minutes walk from the main square). We arranged a taxi through Emmanuel to collect us from the airport, which we would recommend especially if it’s your first trip to Marrakesh, which takes you to the door, then after that it’s easy to navigate around the medina. The Maipa is so elegant, our suite was amazing, the bed super comfy, with quality linen, we slept 12 hours the first night, it was so peaceful. The traditional breakfast was fresh and delicious, great coffee and juices with breads cheeses and fruit, a great way to start the day. We arrived supper unorganised with no plans and Emmanuel was fantastic in helping us out with dinner reservations, hammam spa recommendations and really great tips, thank you so much for that. We really cannot recommend this place enough, if you you want a luxurious Riad experience with all the traditional details then this is your place .

Un séjours au top, dès notre arrivée au riad Maïpa nous nous sommes senti comme dans un palace. Lilia, son mari ainsi que toute l'équipe œuvrent toute la journée pour garantir la meilleur expérience à leur client. L'accueil, le petit déjeuner varié avec des produits de qualité, la terrasse avec le jacuzzi sans oublier les recommandations de notre hôte Lilia pour les activités et les restaurations tout est dans le détail et parfaitement maitrisé. Situé en plein coeur de la Médina l'emplacement est idéal car au centre de tout, mais reste calme et très sécurisé. Mention spécial pour le gel douche Fleurs d'oranger, le plateau d'accueil et le petit gift en chambre. Quand je retournerais à Marrakech je sais déjà ou je séjournerais, je recommande ce riad!

Nous avons passé une super semaine chez Lilya et Emmanuele. Ils sont tous les deux aux petits soins , de très bon conseil. On se sent chez eux comme si on était à la maison. Le personnel est aussi très à l'écoute. Ils ont un sens du service exceptionnel. Merci à tous pour ce merveilleux séjour.

This Riad is so beautiful decorate. Lots of places to have a chilled out cold drink or mint tea. Especially with it location it’s like stepping in to a whole different world from the busy streets. The staff have a wonderful touch to the smallest detail and the wonderful hosts made our stay feel like we were guest in their home. Considering it just of a busy street and a few minutes walk from the square it was so quiet, you would never know the madness was just outside. Loved the breakfast every morning.

Very dark bedroom with no windows apart from those onto the internal courtyard. Ours was a ground floor room so had very little natural light at all.

Absolutely everything. Emmanuelle and Liliya are masters of hospitality and were incredibly welcoming for our whole trip. From excellent recommendations in Marrakesh to arranging an excellent day trip in the atlas mountains for us they were incredible. The breakfast every morning was amazing and we made sure to make reservations for dinner at the riad one night that was one of the best we had in the city. We absolutely loved this oasis in Marrakesh.

Il Riad è una struttura tradizionale ma ristrutturata di recente curato nei minimi dettagli, pulito e con camere grandi e in stile tipico. Si respira un'aria di pace pur essendo nel centro della medina. Ottima e abbondante la colazione con prodotti freschi, abbiamo usufruito anche della cena tipica marocchina: decisamente consigliata I proprietari sono gentili e attenti ad ogni esigenza dei clienti. I complimenti a tutto lo staff e in particolare a Brahim per la gentilezza, professionalità ed educazione.

Unfortunately no alcohol as we would really have liked to spend more time at the hotel. Nothing the owners can do about it.

Wil je ooit ervaren wat gastvrijheid is, boek dit Riad. De kamer is fantastisch, het bed hard maar goed, ontbijt is een geweldige start van de dag. Heerlijk verse producten. En moet je eerder weg of op excursie dan staat de koffie / thee met een ontbijt box klaar. Het gehele team is ontzettend vriendelijk en bereid je te assisteren in alles. Het Riad ademt rust uit. Na een dag in de drukte van de stad kan je heerlijk bijkomen in de whirlpool, op een heerlijk bed op het dakterras, de binnentuin of je kamer. Emanuele en Liliyx zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt. Van pantoffels, gebakjes, verse thee, heel veel goede tips voor bezichtigingen in de stad om te bezoeken tot de beste lunch en diner locaties.

From the moment I stepped through the intricately carved wooden doors of Riad Maïpa, I was transported into a world of timeless elegance, warm hospitality, and serene beauty. This hidden gem in the heart of the Medina deserves nothing less than a perfect 10/10. The staff (Liliya, Emmanuel, Younes & Ibrahim) were exceptional — genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. I can’t wait to return.

The owners and staff have created a true oasis of calm, comfort and tranquility in the heart of Marrakech. One can truly escape the energy of the city at their Riad. Their hospitality was 5 star. Very professional with many good recommendations for one’s time in the city. The plunge pool on the roof was a lovely treat after dusty days walking through the city. Best of all, the owners and hosts are “off the charts” kind, welcoming and full of great tips and recommendations.

It was a little oasis, despite being in the middle of the hustle and bustle ouside, once you step through the door you enter a calming peaceful place. The breakfast is amazing by the way, and sets you up perfectly for a busy day sightseeing. Highly recommended *****
