Lovely room near the pool. Great staff especially in the restaurant. Comfy bed with fresh linen. Close to restaurants and shops. Pool fun and onsite treatment goo but not excellent. Beautiful gardens.

Kettle broke, outdoor can chairs and cushions very old and broken. Foot massage she hardly massaged my feet just shins and thighs over and over. Back massage lovely.

Prachtige ligging, direct aan de oceaan met een fantastisch uitzicht. Kamers waren schoon en werden ook iedere dag keurig schoongemaakt. Goede bedden, airco en kleine koelkast op de kamer. Vanuit hier kan je leuke dagtrips doen. We hadden via het hotel een taxi. De chauffeur, Wayan was echt een topper. Heel vriendelijk, eerlijk en reed voor een heel goede prijs.

Het personeel is prima, maar het zou net allemaal wat vriendelijker mogen. Verder hadden geboekt voor vijf inclusief ontbijt. Bij aankomst bleek echter dat het hotel uitgaat van twee kamers voor ieder twee gaaten. Voor de vijfde moest voor zowel en extra bed als ontbijt betaald

Ich war zum dritten Mal dort! Ich liebe diese mit Liebe gepflegte Anlage! Der Wechsel vom Bungalow in den Superior-Bungalow war kein Problem! Personal alle sehr nett! Gutes und ausreichendes Frühstück. Die Ruhe und die Meeresbrise sind ein Traum. Der Ausblick vom Pool ist durch das Bauprojekt der Regierung nicht mehr der gleiche - immernoch schön und entspannend!

Zimmer mit schönem Ausblick aufs Meer. Saubere Anlage und freundliches Personal. Frühstück war lecker. Wir haben aufgrund Bauarbeiten unseren geplanten Aufenthalt abgekürzt und die Kosten wurden uns ohne Probleme zurückerstattet.

Als wir ankamen, mussten wir leider feststellen, dass der Strand nicht zugänglich ist aufgrund Bauarbeiten der Regierung. Der Bagger arbeitete direkt vor der Pool- und Gartenanlage. Der Lärm dauert über den ganzen Tag und wird wohl noch einige Zeit dauern. Wir wurden vorgängig nicht informiert, was uns sehr enttäuscht hat. Wir waren auch die einzigen Gäste vor Ort, was uns im Nachhinein nicht erstaunt hat.

La piscine et l'espace intérieur de l'hôtel sont agréables. Dommage que les suites bungalow ne soient pas entretenues, sinon, sans les travaux aux alentours bien sûr , l'hôtel serait très bien.

1. Les abords immédiats de l'hôtel qui sont en très gros travaux structurels (tractopelle, pelleteuse, burineur, ...) depuis plusieurs mois et encore pour bien des mois. Il y en a pour au moins toute l'année 2026 et sûrement 2027 ... Nous n'avions nullement cette information lors de notre réservation sur Booking en juillet 2026 ... Sinon nous n'aurions pas réservé. 2. Les suites bungalow ne sont pas toutes jeunes, loin s'en faut ... Les murs s'effritent, la porte de la salle de bain ne ferme pas, est désagrégée en bonne partie, rien ne respire la propreté. Pour le prix, près de 50€ la nuit, le compte n'y est pas du tout ... 3. Le réceptionniste et son patron à qui nous avons fait nos remarques s'en contrefichent complètement ... Ils ne sont pas responsables des travaux engagés par l'État indonésiens ... C'est effectivement vrai, mais il est responsable d'informer les clients afin que ceux-ci puissent réserver en toute connaissance de cause.

Hotel świetnie położony, smaczne, obfite śniadania, obsługa znakomita, pomocna, uśmiechnięta, domki przyzwoite, plaża na wyciągnięcie ręki. Blisko do sklepików i restauracji.

Na plaży, 50 metrów od domków, prowadzone były prace budowlane: 2 koparki, ciężarówka przywożąca ogromne głazy - od 9:00 do 23:00. Plaża zamknięta, koparki 5 metrów od basenu. Ogromny hałas. Po 23:00 rajskie miejsce. O niedogodnościach dowiedzieliśmy się na miejscu.... . By dzieci mogły pobawić się na plaży musieliśmy pojechać 10 km dalej i - oczywiście - zapłacić za transport, gdyż hotel darmowego nie umiał nam zapewnić. Hotel jako rekompensatę zapewnił nam voucher do swojej restauracji..... gdy już się wymeldowaliśmy i byliśmy w innym miejscu. Możemy z niego skorzystać podczas następnego pobytu (potraktowaliśmy to jako żart).

Отель отличный! Территория зеленая и ухоженная, в номерах, да и по всей территории отеля уборка каждый день, хороший, чистый бассейн. Персонал отзывчивый, всегда готовы помочь и подсказать по любому вопросу. Номер полностью соответствовал описанию и устроил на 100%, кондиционер, холодильник, горячая вода всё работало без перебоев. Отличная кухня, завтраки супер, так же можно заказать обед и ужин. Массаж заказать можно прям на территории отеля. Так же рядом много кафешек, спа-салонов и магазины, можно далеко не ходить. Море хорошее, волн особых нет, есть не большой пляжик, До центра можно дойти пешком (примерно 2-3км) или на такси, там все по стандарту: сувенирные магазины, супермаркеты, кафе, спа, есть обменники. Местные люди очень приветливые и доброжелательные. Отель понравился на 100%. Советую.

Идет реконструкция пляжа и набережной, но потом видимо будет еще лучше

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung

Leider sind wir Abends angereist, wären wir tagsü6angekommen, wären wir direkt wieder umgedreht. Wir mussten somit eine Nacht im Amarta Beach Cottages verbringen. Es fing damit an, dass die Handtücher extra dreckig waren, Tiere überall rumliegen - sogar im Bett!

Third time staying here and we will return. Beach front location is perfect. Walking distance to small shops and choice of good restaurants. Candidasa nearby for bigger shopping.

Construction work on the waterfront walkway is noisy but will be lovely when finished. Maintenance on some of the older units needs to be attended to. Wobbly balcony rails etc

Cannot understand how booking.com can even sell this place, grumpy reception, rubbish rooms and so overpriced . 5 of us and cost $140 night each room. Great yard and outlook and breakfast great. Manager needs another job to learn about tourism. I read all reviews but never had a dissapointing place like this. Hotel next door $50 a night for better rooms. Wont go back and will tell all.

I don’t understand, why this accommodation has only 8,5 rating now. Yes, there are some rooms, which need some attention - standard rooms often with very old equipment, walls falling of etc. but hey, book a suite ! Nice views, directly on the beach (almost private, just few locals), perfect services, nice staff, refreshing pool, good massages, beautiful garden, good location - We had absolutely nothing to complain about.

When you arrive at the hotel, you may not get the room you booked. You will be asked to pay extra, and the staff will ignore you. I don't recommend it if you value your time and money.

The outside area was stunning

The check in chap was rude and grumpy and did not make you feel welcome. The rooms booked were shocking for $90 a night. Smelly dirty and shower shocking as floors were so slippery.. After being in Sanur and having been to Bali many times this was the worst place i had stayed in. I cannot understand how booking.com can have it on its books.

Location, sea view, room after paying upgrade at extra $40pn.

Basic cottage was disgusting, dirty, mould, dead insects, paint peeling of the walls, curtains hanging down all this for a $100pn. We had to upgrade for an additional $40pn. Do you ever inspect these properties?

Amarta beach Cottages is a stunning must do in Bali, especially if you are looking for relaxation, a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle, I loved it

Rooms need some basic attention

Bardzo ekskluzywny pokój, piękny widok z balkonu, dobre jedzenie, masaż wykonany w spa należącym do resortu: wyśmienity. Stosunek ceny do jakości bardzo dobry.

Zu Beginn des Urlaubs war die Klimaanlage defekt. Diese wurde jedoch umgehend ausgetauscht. Ansonsten sehr einfache Ausstattung (in der günstigsten Kategorie), die ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Wir waren 3 Wochen im Amarta und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten eine ältere Suite mit kleinen Schönheitsfehler die uns aber nicht gestört haben.Das Hotel hat eine super Lage mit eigenem Strandzugang. Das Spa ist hervorragend, die Massagen dort günstig und göttlich. Aus dem Bett aufs Meer zu schauen, garantiert die beste Erholung.

The location is absolutely stunning. The reception was a bit grumpy but this is fantastic value for Money on the beach.

Beautiful laid back beach front stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant overlooking the beach. The rip was strong but some good snorkelling to be had, need to take your own gear. The pool was clean and well maintained as were the gardens. Lovely stay away from the madness of Kuta. It is a little away from the town of Candidasa however that added to the holiday, there is a brilliant Indian restaurant within walking distance.

We loved our stay, the cottage we had was tending toward tired but for the price it was great and we couldn't fault it, everything we needed was available, including breakfast.

Prachtige ligging en een hele mooie kamer en badkamer. Het restaurant was erg goed en geweldig personeel. Heel vriendelijk, leuk praatje en de kok zet mooie en lekkere gerechten op tafel. Vanaf het terras loop je zo het strand op. Je kan direct voor de deur snorkelen. De tuin en het zwembad zijn goed onderhouden. Een prachtige plek!

Right on the beach with snorkeling possible from the beach. Good healthy corals and lots of fish right in front of bungalows. Clean non-salty swimming pool with lounchers. Beach width is narrow and less accessible during high tide. Breakfast has limited options but sufficient for us. Nice restaurant for dinner with a lovely sea view towards Nusa Penida. Very nice alternatives but also affordable dinner options nearby with other restaurants in walking distance, in particular Smiley and Warung Padang Kecag. Consider a day trip to Virgin Beach. The driver will take you and wait a few hours to take you back.

We booked a standard bungalow and upon arrival and seeing it, we were very relieved to hear that there was one of the new upgraded bungalows available, so we did not hesitate to pay more for the upgrade. The standard one was really old and "primitive," and we would have been very unhappy to stay in it. The upgraded ones is spacious but poorly planned with placing of power points and placing of TV. Bed headboard to wide to accomodate 2 bedside tables so one person have to put their phone, water et on the flood next to the bed. Huge shower area waited and only an overhead shower head. Replacing it with a removable hand shower is a "no-brainer" Kettle has to be put on the floor to boil as there isn't a proper space for it in reach of a power point. It seems that very little planning and thinking went into the building plan and/or furnishings and this can easily be fixed with a few tweaks to make the stay much more comfortable. It is also a bit pricey for a more "remote" spot on the island. I could have rated Amarta between 9 and 10 if it weren't not for the above few giggles. I trust that they will take it as "constructive" feedback and make those few changes.

Stunning location right on a beautiful beach with great snorkeling. Nice small streets nearby with excellent restaurants.

Would prefer if they were eco-conscious and gave us refillable glass bottles rather than plastic ones. Bali has way too much plastic now and there should be no new plastic circulating.

It is in the most beautiful location, fantastic snorkelling off the beach and lovely manicured grounds. All the staff are super friendly. Great food at their restaurant. Did not eat anywhere else while we were there. Love staying there....we will be back!

Struggled in area to get bicycle hire

Great location next to the beach. Lovely pool and lots of fantastic places to eat within a 200m walk. A very quiet part of the island and good to get away from the busyness of southern Bali. Right on a small beach, which is much cleaner than most in Bali.

This is a lovely family haven of peace. The hotel room was very clean and spacious.

The grounds are well taken care of and the hotel is on a lovely and secluded beach. Its a fantastic place for families with smaller kids.

Third time here and will be back again but it relies purely on its location which is right in front of one of the nicest beach areas in Candi Dasa- actually Sendiku - CandiDasa is about 3 km walk away. There is NO maintenance done here whatsoever which is such a shame and Housekeeping need training. Even though we were a family of three they would only leave two towels and two beach towels, not take away empty beer bottles or wash glasses. We didn’t lean on balcony as rotting and rickety; and awning window fell out during the night (hinges just came away) and to fix it they nailed it shut! Restaurant staff are ALL awesome and speak english, food is good with plenty of hotel restaurants nearby and good warungs (Smiley is awesome). Perfect massage hut overlooking the ocean to lay peacefully listening to the waves while having a very professional and cheap massage, body scrub, facial etc. The two spa ladies were fantastic and I thoroughly recommend them. And that view!!!!!

I love staying at Amarta. The superior rooms are my favourite. You look straight out to the water. The staff are lovely and the food is great.

We stayed in the oldest bungalows. They have probably received some tlc during the last couple of months. All clean and good sized houses. Lovely little patio area outside. Pool and beach are great. If we return, we will probably stay in the newly developed building. We do believe the comfort might be better. Breakfast service was good and we had a pleasant stay.

The location was great. Beautiful view onto the ocean. Great snorkelling just off the front. Massage and spa facilities available on site with a sea view. Breakfast was good and restaurant staff were friendly.

We stayed in a standard room which was dated and in need of refurbishment. The twin room had no mosquito nets and gaps in the wall so hiding from the mosquitoes was almost impossible. Front reception not super friendly and felt a bit rushed when checking out even though checkout is at 12…

This is a great smaller hotel and I'd happily stay here again. The hotel / resort itself is smallish but well positioned on the coast with great sea breezes. The grounds are mostly grass but have some garden beds and lots of palm trees. All rooms face the ocean except for a couple of the older style and their front verandahs had views. The little beach is just off the bottom of steps at the front of the property and that was lovely for a swim, if a bit rough. The pool is small but wasn't crowded when we were there. It's nice and cool - some pools in Bali are like bath water but this was nice and refreshing. The restaurant is large with inside and outside seating, and some blocking glass panes for protection from the weather if needed. The food was great - lots of choice and all delicious, and reasonably priced. Best black rice pudding ever. It's a bit isolated with only a couple of little restaurants near it but we didn't need to go anywhere else. We had a suite room which had the most amazing view of the water from our bed. These rooms are at the western end of the property and have a little more privacy (pool is in the eastern area and you can see into the ground level rooms there). Our room was large with large cupboard area, an alcove day bed, a couple of seats on the little verandah and an outdoor bathroom with a small enclosed rocky garden. We had a massage in the beach hut which was good and reasonably priced.

Minor things: Synthetic sheets were not as cool or comfortable as cotton (I understand they last a lot longer than cotton, and they were still OK, I just prefer cotton). Room cleaning left all doors and windows open so mosquitoes kept getting in. Location is not in the main area of Candi Dasa (next cove nearest to the lotus pond) and it's not really walkable in the heat - this was fine for a couple of days but if I was staying longer, I would have needed to get transport around.
