Convenient location for my trip. Accommodations were exactly what I like for travel: high quality basics. If I'm traveling, I typically am not looking to spend huge chunks of time in my room. But the time I am in the room should be comfortable

Not much. Of course there are services that could be added, but they aren't necessary if you are looking for a place to stay and spending most of your time out in the city.

Mooie oude historische accommodatie. Op een rustige, fijne plek maar vlakbij van alles in Venetië. Ruime kamer en badkamer en met airco.

We dachten dat er bagage opslag was vanwege de tekst in de advertentie, maar dat was helaas niet zo. In de buurt wel aanwezig. Het is echt een kamer die je huurt in die woning, er is beperkt personeel aanwezig. Verder geen faciliteiten in het gebouw, maar in de buurt echt van alles te vinden (ontbijt, terras, etc.).

Perfect location for being close to things, but not in a loud area. Room was very comfortable, safe, clean and had great amenities for an American!

I wish there had been luggage storage. I was a little confused by there being no front desk person there all the time (I think it's european to not do that) so wasn't sure how to check out, where to put the key, etc. Even though I was leaving at the check out time the day of my departure. It was really hard to get to the hotel, I'd never been to venice before so I didn't realize that you take a boat to the closest area and then we had to walk 20 mins in 90degree humid heat to get to the hotel, many steps and stairs to navigate. Not the hotel's fault, but worth knowing beforehand.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bianca Ducale. The hotel offers excellent value for money. The nightly rate felt fair, especially considering its location in a quieter part of Venice while still being just a short walk from all the main attractions. Check-in and check-out were extremely efficient, as everything can be completed online. Communication with the staff was seamless, prompt, and straightforward throughout my stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It also had a charming historic character that complemented the atmosphere of Venice perfectly. The staff truly stood out. Their customer service was exceptional, they were welcoming, knowledgeable, and always happy to recommend restaurants, attractions, and local tips. They played a significant part in making my trip so enjoyable. Before I left, they also mentioned that they would soon be offering guided tours for guests, which sounds like a great addition. Overall, I would happily stay at Bianca Ducale again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a boutique hotel that combines character, convenience, and outstanding hospitality in Venice.

Das Zimmer ist in Ordnung und leise, das Hotel ist gut gelegen und das Bett ist bequem. Damit hören sie positiven Sachen schon auf…

Leider war die erste Begegnung ein Vorwurf das wir zu früh da sind… das war uns auch bewusst, aber wir wollten auch noch gar nicht aufs Zimmer sondern nur die Taschen abstellen… das ging gerade so. Bei der ersten Durchsicht viel leider auf, dass das Zimmer überhaupt nicht richtig gereinigt wurde. Im Badezimmer klebten Haare von anderen Frauen, die Ecken waren dreckig und es lagen vereinzelt tote Insekten rum. Das bringt uns zum nächsten Problem: wir haben ein Ameisen Problem im Zimmer gehabt und sofort der Rezeption geschrieben. Wir wurden ignoriert sodass wir uns an booking Wenden mussten. Auch booking konnte nichts bewirken sodass wir 30€ Nachlass für eine nächste Buchung bekommen haben. Die Unterkunft hat uns lediglich ein Ameisenspray zukommen lassen und meinte damit ist es erledigt. Obwohl es ein Hotel ist, gibt es keine Zimmerreinigung - somit blieben wir auf dem Ameisen Friedhof sitzen und um die verdreckte Dusche mit den fremden Haaren mussten wir uns ebenfalls selber kümmern - klasse „Hotel“. Genauso gut, hätten wir uns auch eine Apartment mieten können, denn der Service, den man bei einem Hotel haben sollte, fehlte ohne Ausnahme. Keine frischen Handtücher, kein täglich gemachtes Bett, kein Mülleimer entleeren, nichts… Beim Check out wurden wir pünktlichst an der Tür abgeholt und ich meinte wir ziehen uns die Schuhe an. Daraufhin wurde uns gleich auf Italienisch mit Camera und Polizei gedroht… wir sind also schnell raus und froh, dass wir nicht noch länger bleiben müssen. Grüße aus Venedig und KEINE Empfehlung

So, We stayed at Bianca Ducale from 20-24/6/26. First of all the 2 ladies were kind. Second the location is really good, you can see it on the map. Third, the room was clean.

First of all, the place is just an old house with some decorations who try to hide the problem, this place needs a real renovation from the ground up. Also, there was no real bathroom trash can. There was a small can without lid, in normal houses we use it in a bedroom… Room service is actually non existent but they mention it from before so I can’t complain. Furthermore, the aircodition location is a real problem. It’s right above the bed so you can’t sleep without cold air blowing right onto you, so it creates sleep problems. I know you think that I am overreacting but try to sleep under it and you wi understand. To not use it in Venice is not an option with so much heat. Finally, I know it wasn’t their fault but I have to mention that because of a Leak from our bathroom to the floor right under us, we were told that we can’t use the shower for the night. That was a really huge problem because we were sweating to arrive in time. I know that may be sound like not so big problems but when someone pays 700€ (including the meaningless tax per person for Venice and late arrival fee) for just 4 nights, these problems can’t go unnoticed. I know that Venice is overpriced but we should be more careful of how much money our services worth. This apartment for 400-500€ at 4 times could be a really good deal disregarding the little problems. We didn’t hate it, we didn’t love it. It was just another example of overpriced normal room with some problems that cannot overlooked at this price.

L’emplacement

Il ne s’agit pas d’un hôtel mais de chambres. Le nom de la résidence n’est pas Bianca Ducale et cela n’avait pas été mentionné dans les échanges m. Nous avons donc tourné en rond pendant pas mal de temps. La réception est uniquement ouverte de 15h à 19h et impossible de laisser vos bagages sur place avant d’avoir votre chambre ou après votre Check out. Aucun nettoyage de la chambre n’est fait pendant votre séjour

The location was very central. 10 mins walk from Rialto Bridge, the bed was comfy and we slept very well. The bathroom was very clean too. Decorated in ventician style.

No sign on the door so a little hard to find. Could do with a refresh of paint. The shower was very low pressure however the spray shower worked well.

Magnifique résidence dans le plus pur style vénitien. Situation exceptionnelle dans le centre de Venise mais suffisamment à l'écart des grands axes pour être au calme. Chambres cosy et confortables avec tout le confort nécessaire. Accueil très chaleureux d'Eva qui a été aux petits soins pour nous. Pas de room service mais staff très réactif si besoin. Un grand merci pour ce magnifique séjour.

Il est bon de savoir qu'une arrivée après 18h30 entraîne un surplus de 50 euros ce qui n'est pas forcément précisé avant de réserver sur Booking.

The hotel has a wonderful location with quiet atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every guest feel welcome. Everything is perfect, truly a top-level experience in every way.

La experiencia fue muy positiva. La casa es antigua, con mucha historia y un encanto especial que te hace sentir dentro del auténtico ambiente veneciano. Además, su ubicación es inmejorable: está cerca de los principales lugares turísticos y también a unos 15 minutos andando de la estación. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias, y aunque sea una residencia con muchos años de historia, el mobiliario estaba muy bien cuidado. El proceso de llegada resultó cómodo, ya que recoger las llaves fue sencillo y sin complicaciones.

Como pequeño inconveniente, las almohadas eran bastante finas; unas más gruesas habrían resultado más cómodas, ya que algunos días nos levantamos con algo de dolor de cuello.

The location, history and beauty of this hotel was just amazing. We will be back. Ambre who greeted us and brought us to the hotel was so friendly and wonderful. She told us so many handy things to know such as getting around and where and what to eat. She cheered us after a long journey of train delays. The hotel was spacious, clean, gorgeous and very romantic. The area it is in was great for authentic shops, cafes and restaurants.

We needed a small bit more toilet roll. But everything else was perfect.

Sehr schöne stilvolle Ausstattung, alles Praktische auch da, zentrale tolle Lage, trotzdem sehr ruhig ! grosses Bett - sehr liebenswerter und aufmerksamer Empfang durch Gastgeberin .

Entriegelung der Eingangstüre wäre gut zu revidieren.. 😉

Un lugar encantador con historia en el centro de Venecia, cerca de todo para conocer la ciudad de primera mano. Nos encantó la atención de Eva, sus consejos y ayuda!!

Superbe maison antique avec toutes les commodités modernes. Très belle salle de bain. Wifi parfait. Frigo. Cafetière et théière. Lits et literie parfaits. Décor de la chambre et des parties communes ont beaucoup de charme et de soin. TRÈS CALME jour et nuit. Emplacement idéal.

Juste une suggestion pour les séjours longs. Ambra a été très réactive à nos demandes . Cependant il serait agréable de trouver par exemple un produit nettoyant pour la salle de bain, 1 ou 2 sacs de poubelle d'avance et du café pour chaque jour, des serviettes supplémentaires. L'idée est de marquer tout de suite une différence entre les séjours d'une ou deux nuits et les séjours de longue durée, sans avoir à demander ou payer des frais supplémentaires. ( je précise qu'Ambra ne nous a pas fait payer ). Des détails mais qui feraient se sentir un peu " différents " lorsqu'on reste longtemps. Mais nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Residenza Corte Molin que nous recommandons.

Very comfy bed and good location

We had to pay 50€ extra for arrival in the weekend which I think is excessive considering the room rate. The room had a strong smell. We had the king room with canal view which theoretically yes the window looks on a canal but it’s not a view worth mentioning as added value.

Besides having such a romantic, old history the Residenza is charming, comfortable and in a very quiet, convenient location. Amber the owner is super friendly and thoughtful and Eva, who met us on our arrival was also extremely friendly, helpful and informative about the house and area. It was the perfect stay for our week in glorious Venice.

The history was fascinating. The bed was huge and extremely comfy. The decor quirky and totally in keeping with the building. The agency staff supporting the venue were lovely and gave lots of good suggestions.

The mosquito that kept buzzing me as I sat out in the outdoor lounge. Grateful for the mosquito plug in the room.

False advertisement. This is not a hotel as it’s mentioned in your website. The room looked FAR from the pictures shown here. the whole place is decaying. Pretty sure the walls have mould on them. We found walls falling apart a few times on our way out. There is no cleaning service unless you want to pay €30 extra per day. For some reason they never fully disclosed they forced us to pay in cash only the city tax. The internet didn’t work. There was nobody at reception, they made us meet in a different place a few blocks away from the actual location since they have NO reception as it’s NOT A HOTEL. They claim to be a “locanda” but as a customer and tourists visiting there is NO WAY we know that in advance.

Central location with good food around the area, 5min walk to Rialto bridge. Clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning which is very much needed in summer. Lovely host who was responsive and gave good recommendations

Check in was a unique experience with very extended information about the area, even the history of the residence and the surroundings. Location was perfect. Very near to Rialto bridge, but you could hardly hear any noise around. The residence itself an original part of the history of Venice.

We would not mind if the room size was a little bit bigger, however this was not a real problem.

We really enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was and how close it was to a local Catholic Church! The ferry boat station is around the corner so we figured out how to use it to our advantage to get around Venice fast. On the day of check in, our train was delayed getting into Venice but the owner was kind enough to wait for us until we arrived. This place definitely has a Venice charming vibe.

We were not able to get clean towels, the cell phone reception was really bad and the wifi was pretty much not existent. This place was more like an airbnb so there is no staff on the premises and the rooms were not cleaned daily.

The staff was very helpful and even provided a little walking tour of the neighborhood. The room was clean, comfortable, and in a quiet area yet still conveniently situated.

The king bed which was advertised was actually two twins put together. Still, the mattresses were comfortable, unless you were sleeping on the crack. Additionally, we had several mosquitoes in the room. That may be common with a canal outside the window, but it did detract from our experience.

It’s a beautiful property in a quiet street, nice location and warm staff gave us a lot of recommendations

I liked the interior decor of the building and my room, as well as the terrace. The location is fantastic, because it is right in the centre but still has a quiet and intimate feel to the location. The location is also great because from the outside it looks like a regular building and not a hotel, so I felt more secure knowing it's not as noticeable as a residence for tourists. I also really liked the cleanliness of the room and the mini bar/mini coffee bar!

The soap for washing your hair and body could have been more easily identified, as the label only had a symbol and the name of the brand but did not say on it what it was for, so I was not sure at first if it was just hand-soap or what. Also, I wish the rooms had wifi. The T.v did not work for programs and streaming networks because there was no internet in the room.

uncomplicated, very responsive and friendly stuff in a very central location. it is literally a stone through away from Rialto. the rooms are big and a silent fabulous aircon keeps you warm at night; or cool.

Residenza was a beautiful historic property in the heart of residential San Polo. an absolute jewel in Venice!

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Gave us great background of the hotel and information on the city of Venice. Were very accommodating and helpful in providing a map and some tips with getting to the airport and how to get around Venice. The hotel and room were decorated and designed we'll, and bed was comfortable. Location was superb and central near Rialto Bridge.

Charging 2.50 Euro for a bottle of water given the price of the room seemed a bit much. One free water would be nice :) I was surprised to see quite a bit of mould in the shower.

The location was perfect as it is in the center of Venice but on a quiet lane away from the crowds and foot traffic. The hotel is in a old historic building and redone in an 18th century vibe and located right on a canal. Our room overlooked the canal giving the feeling of quintessential Venice.
