Loved that new hotel-feel, the big spacious rooms, the eco-friendly approach, the private & quiet terrace on all of our ground-floor rooms. The staff are friendly and personable and are quick to help find answers. Dinner is upscale, tasty and formal. For more family-friendly options, town is close with a 7-minute walk to the chippie or pizza or forage place; a 10-minute walk to the grocery; or a 12-minute walk to the pub. Pro tip: laundry is off campus so allow three days and the local laundromat is closed until further notice.

The location is convenient for coast path walks. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the food served at dinner was excellent. Our room was comfortable and had a spacious bathroom. It was useful to have EV chargers conveniently located in the car park.

We completed the on-line booking process but when we arrived we found that our choices did not seem to have been noted. It would have been nice to have a room with a better view. Dinner was a little pricey.

A lovely hotel, beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and service above and beyond very informative and helped us with what to see and do. Compliments to the cheff for a world class evening meal and breakfast didn’t disappoint. Would come again and recommend to others. Thank you!

The quality of the food itself was very good. The service, unfortunately, was not up to standard. The bed was comfortable.

The overall service was poor, particularly in the restaurant and management. The reception staff were perfectly fine. The room layout was not ideal, particularly the bathroom. The fan that was provided was not effective at all.

Good choice of breakfast. Although, I would have preferred some seasonal berries and grapefruit juice. The granola offered was more like museli with added nuts and seeds. The pastries were lovely 😍

We arrived to be told that our baby was not welcome and that we could not stay. Further discussion with their general manager reiterated their point of view and initially were not happy to make an exception. The general manager inflamed the situation by the way she spoke to my wife, and though eventually they said they would make an exception we had no intention of parting with our hard earned cash after how we were treated by the assistant and general manager. We left to seek alternative accommodation.

Beautifully appointed with plenty of parking and an excellent restaurant.

We arrived on one of the hottest days this year and struggled with the heat, but the room did have a decent fan.

The room was very comfortable and spacious and the staff were helpful. The location is great being close to the town centre.

Disappointed that although advertised as a spa hotel, you had to know that this is limited and has to be pre-booked. However that was probably my fault for not reading the descriptions properly. We had the eggs benedict for breakfast and compared to what they should be like for the cost of the room, very disappointing. Overall far to much emphasis on style and art etc and not enough on the basics like getting the food right.

Standard of cuisine not as expected - almost trying too hard. However, issuesdealt with professionally and courteously, but would not recommend as a fine dining experience or repeat.

Food, both at breakfast and dinner was superb. The location was fine, just 5 mins walk into St David's. The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

I loved the room and bathroom - both were very spacious. The bed was super comfortable and the shower pressure was amazing after many days of low water pressure. Slept like a baby that might. The breakfast was also very good. The location was excellent, very near to town and the cathedral. Also a short walk to the bay.

Funny to have to book a breakfast time but I observe that they seem to be a bit short-staffed at breakfast - but overall not a super big problem.

Fantastic location to explore St David’s and Pembrokeshire coastline. Modern hotel, exceptionally clean, friendly staff, good sized room with a sea view and upmarket linen / towels / dressing gowns.

Bar area is rather dark and we didn’t feel that we wanted to spend much time there.

Wonderful spot. Have dinner at the restaurant which is called Blas.

Modern, smart, well equipped rooms. Comfortable beds. This is an upmarket hotel. Staff were attentive and responsive and allowed us to park in the hotel car park in the morning before our afternoon check-in. And they phoned us to tell us when our rooms were ready earlier than promised.

Bar lacks atmosphere. Restaurant was still being refurbished so was closed. But we knew in advance and they had given us a range of alternative restaurants nearby. So this is not a serious worry.

The location was very pleasant with him walking distance to restaurants. The room very spacious, updated, with many modern extras like heated floors. Our room was in the first floor with access to a small yard and sitting area.Very spacious and luxurious bathroom.A plus was a small refrigerator and Nespresso machine. Two bottles of water were provided each day.

Wish we could’ve stayed longer

This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The staff were lively, friendly and helpful - especially Chloe. The room we had was absolutely first rate as was the beautiful bathroom. We will definitely be back!

The only downside was the fact that as the restaurant was being renovated, we couldn't sample the food and the breakfast was very disappointing as a result. We didn't bother with breakfast on our second day because of this. However, this did not detract from the fact that this hotel will remain one of our favourites and we will certainly recommend it to friends and family and stay again ourselves.

Excellent food, an imaginative chef. Really attentive and helpful staff The setting is superb, with Caerfai bay just down the lane, and stunning scenery. Nice touch that there was a birthday card and prosecco for my son, whose 40th birthday we were celebrating. Pleasant to have an outdoor sitting area.

It will be even better when the spa is available. Not sure about the proliferation of artificial trees in lounge area. A little overdone - and doesn't relate to the glorious natural scenery all around. The cost for the rooms was high!

Breakfast was good quality. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Went above and beyond to be kind and helpful. Evening dining experience amazing. The meal was delicious and well oresented. The Christmas trees and hotel experience was amazing.

Everything was great. The bathroom was nice and big, with a huge bath, and nice toiletries. The room was great and it was nice to have a big TV opposite the bed. The extra touches were lovely as well, like the bathrobe and slippers, all the backlit mirrors, the fresh milk in the fridge and the heatproof mat for straighteners. The breakfast was really good and the staff were so attentive. There is literally nothing I can find fault with with Twr Y Felin

Was a little disappointed at the menu choices for evening meal, very little variation and expensive for what it is. Spent over £80 for one course for two people, portions small although tasty... Was also dismayed to see upon checkout that it had a 1 hygiene rating ... may have chosen to eat elsewhere if we had been aware prior to booking evening meal

Wonderful hotel and they’ve got it absolutely spot on. Very quiet as it was the middle of November, but the service and food was excellent! A short walk into the City and a step back into history in the Cathedral and its grounds.

We had an excellent stay in this amazing hotel. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help.

We knew Twr y Felin to be a dog friendly hotel and checked ahead that our little dog could accompany us into the dining room. Unfortunately, we could not take her into the bar which seems rather strange as she was allowed where we had our meals. So, sadly, we had to go out to other places for a drink. However, our room was perfect, a beautiful basket as well as doggy bowls were provided. Also, we could easily access the garden area to give our dog a walk.
